Step aside, Marvel-- There Are REAL superheroes to celebrate...
it would mean the government's been concealing and
denying the truth for years
on end,
and everybody knows THAT would never happen...
(Edward Snowden, come home! It was all just a bad dream; there really is
No Such Agency!)
Do you
know someone truly steeped in the Kool-Aid?
I mean
someone who finds it easier to believe that the far-better-educated,
far-more-suspicious-of-government Americans of a hundred years ago were
complete morons who granted authority to the state to take whatever it
wished from themselves and their posterity than to imagine that they
themselves simply misunderstand the true nature of the income tax? Even
while knowing that their beliefs about the tax are derived entirely from
the representations of those who profit from those beliefs (like tax
bureaucrats and "tax professionals")?
Do you
know someone like that? Shake them awake with the latest (fourteenth)
edition of
CtC!

May 9- In 1941, the British navy captures a
German submarine containing an 'Enigma' cryptography machine,
allowing the Allies to decrypt coded German messages. In 1945,

after the country had been invaded and occupied by Germany, is
arrested. He would later be executed for treason. In 1960, the

No, this isn't the Ninth Annual Declaration Day
party-- that announcement will come soon, but in the meantime...
MY BEAMISH BOY TJ called me down to his lair the
other day telling me he had something to show me that I'd want
to see-- and man, was he right! It's something I want you to
see, too: A new film celebrating the heroism of Edward Snowden!
This new film is due to hit theaters September 16,
and I'll be going the next day, Saturday the 17th. I'm planning
on seeing the afternoon matinee, to be followed by a
barbeque/deck party. I'd love the company of every CtC-educated
person that can make it. Just let me know by no later than
September 1.
I'll be posting details on local accommodations,
the price of a ticket and the show time as those latter two bits
of information become available. So far I've only been able to
verify that the film will be shown at the theater I have in mind
on that date, and that the theater staffer to whom I spoke is a
big Snowden fan and has his own plans to see the film that same
weekend.
I READ SOME EDITORIALIST IN THE PAPER the other day
criticizing the Bernie Sanders supporters for not complaining
about the Democrats delegate selection process being rigged. He
advised them to suck it up and close ranks with the Clinton
people with an eye toward November.
I have a different recommendation for the Sanders
people: Scream at the FBI for its dawdling (and perhaps its
intended stand-down) on indicting Clinton for the felonious
violations of government secrecy and security laws in regard to
her email handling while Secretary of State...
SENATORS DIANE FEINSTEIN (D., Oceania) AND
BILL BURR (R., Oceania) have introduced a proposed piece of
legislation going by the name of S.R.___, the "Compliance with
Court Orders Act of 2016" (see it
here).
This noxious bit of treason (by which all enemies of the United
States Constitution would surely be aided and comforted) is
meant to compel manufacturers of communications equipment to
knobble their products' security so the state can poke around
inside and read what people are saying to each other whenever it
wishes.
This proposed legislation arrives on the scene as
the next step in a bit of statist theater which began with a
purportedly desperate need by the FBI to access the innards of
alleged San Bernardino shooter Syed Rizwan Farook's
company-issued cell-phone. Those innards having not been seen by
anyone it is difficult to imagine how the agency was able to
credibly swear in an affidavit that any particularly-described
evidence was there to be seized, but I'm nit-picking with that
little point. The real purpose of claiming the need to get into
Farook's phone was to set the stage for this legislation.
As I wrote on these pages back in February when the
FBI was briefly arguing its case for a court order meant to
force Apple, the phone's manufacturer, to crack its shields and
lay the device's contents bare to Uncle Ernie's, er, I mean,
Uncle Sam's prying fingers (emphasis added):
...AFTER PATRIOT EDWARD SNOWDEN courageously
revealed the tip of this outrageous [universal wiretapping]
liberty-smothering "panopticon" project iceberg (and after a lot
of the customers of American digital service
providers/manufacturers began making clear that they would take
their business elsewhere if cooperation with the state doesn't
cease) several of the tech companies, at least, backed away from
their embrace with the devil and began installing fairly robust
encryption into communications devices and on-line services.
Apple was one of the first and most diligent.
Apple not only installed software providing for
encryption in its I-phones, but it did so in such a way that the
company itself was out of the loop. A user who chose to encrypt
became the only one with decryption capability. No back doors,
no secret keys; real privacy and security for the paying
customer.
The police-state enthusiasts find this
intolerable. These folks, whose already thoroughly-proven real
ambition is to spy and collect detailed files on everyone
are using an alleged interest in getting at the contents of a
phone purportedly used by one of the San Bernardino mass
shooters to ask federal judges to order Apple to help them break
into the phone. They are attempting to establish a
judicial precedent in this regard, as well as using the matter
as a stalking horse for a drive for legislation requiring the
installation of "back-doors" in any device equipped for
encryption. (I say "purported" because both of those we
are told were responsible were unfortunately killed before
standing trial or even having a chance to possibly protest their
innocence. Thus, we don't technically know for sure that the
purported perps really ARE the perps, as seems so often the case
in these periodic fear-generating "terrorist" events...)
Apple has been resisting, and hopefully, will
have appealed a magistrate's order commanding compliance with
the break-in-assistance demand by the deadline tomorrow
(Tuesday, February 23).
So it has proven to be. That draft legislation now
circulating in the Senate.
But here's an interesting twist in this little
affair: not long after I published the words above on February
22, the FBI asked that the court order meant to force Apple to
aid and abet its invasion be dismissed. The agency claimed that
it had found a way to hack into Farook's phone without help.
At the time, I didn't believe this FBI claim. I
figured that the government had simply realized that it was
likely to lose its argument on behalf of the order and didn't
want the egg on its face.
Apple had made good First Amendment arguments
(along with obnoxious "public utility" arguments which serve
merely to validate the courts' pernicious resort to such
considerations in their decisions). Those arguments would have
carried the day in any law-respecting court, and even the
executive agencies themselves never know for sure when they are
going to encounter a judge who actually takes his or her oath of
office seriously.
But now that this legislative effort has been
trotted forth so soon afterwards it seems likely that I wasn't
nearly cynical enough. In light of this timing it now seems
likely that even when the FBI asked that the injunction to
compel Apple's cooperation be dismissed the Feinstein-Burr
legislation was already on the planning table, if not
waiting-in-the-wings.
The danger of an adverse ruling on the injunction
was recognized as a threat to this despicable legislation's
ability to get out of the starting gate and begin to build the
political (or at least, institutional) momentum to which courts
will often defer. Thus, the motion to dismiss the injunction on
Apple, and the so-unlikely-to-be-true explanation that the FBI
had, with truly remarkable timing, managed to crack the i-phone
security on its own.
These folks may not be wise, but they have a wealth
of reptilian cleverness...
Government To The Hendricksons: You Must
Take Back What You Have Said!
It's like something out of a fairy tale...
I WONDER HOW MANY FOLKS HAVE EVER GIVEN ANY THOUGHT
to the unprecedented weirdness of the government's demand that
Doreen "unsay" what she and I said on our 2002 and 2003 tax
returns. The "ignorance tax" scamsters are reacting to those
freely-made returns and the educated expressions on them like a
witch in a fairy tale to a counter-spell that breaks her
long-standing evil curse.
Think about it. The order concerning those now 12-
and 13-year-old filings (which
the government is still forced to acknowledge as correct)
demands that our freely-made testimony by way of those returns
be UNSAID by replacing them with amended returns on which we say
we were wrong then and now believe our earnings are of the
taxable varieties.
Could there be a more ringing acknowledgement of
the correctness of what we have said? This demand is a tacit
admission that the only way the government can validly act
against what we have said is if we take it back.
The truth is like that bucket of water thrown by
Dorothy at the Wicked Witch of the West, who shrinks away
wailing, "You cursed brat! Look what you've done! I'm
melting! Melting! Oh, what a world! What a world! Who would have
thought a good little girl like you could destroy my beautiful
wickedness?"
In fact, that truth-magic is so powerful that even
after engineering a punishment of Doreen for refusing to "take
it back", the state is still demanding that she do so, as a
condition of her post-incarceration supervised release, or go
back to prison. This renewed demand is for the same reasons as
the first one: Unless that take-back happens, the state will
never be able to "legitimize" a misapplication of the tax to our
earnings during those years.
The evil at work here is dark and disgusting. But
from out of its noxious depths an attentive ear can detect a
despairing wail: "I'm melting! Melting!"
(Still, that much desired melting will only really
happen when enough water is thrown. Don't stint in dumping
your bucket on the bitch; and don't stint in doing
everything you can to scream at the still-silent media to start
paying attention to Doreen's plight. Find useful contact info
and some other resources for accomplishing this most important
task at the end of
this article.)
Are the presentations and
resources offered on this site and in my other work of any value to you?
Tim Kendrick has posted
a video
on YouTube regarding donations. I didn't know what to do about
it to begin with; I don't do what I do intending for anyone to
feel obligated in any way.
But of course, no one IS obligated. I will continue
to make my work freely-available here, and in my books for only
the cost of a cheap paperback.
Thus, even though I post it here below, Tim's very
thoughtful personal resolution and encouragement to others is
just an invitation for consideration by those who may not be
conscious of the fact that I can't do what I do without support.
No one is to feel any pressure from it; if it moves anyone to
act let it be solely because it seems right.
THE ANSWER TO THAT QUESTION is the key to the
restoration of the republic and the rule of law in America. See
it below. (NOTE: It's very important that the entire 24 minutes
be viewed.)
PLEASE be a real activist
about sending this link to every single person in your address book, and
about sharing it through facebook, reddit, twitter, and
any other distribution channel with which you are
familiar. Send it to every journalist you can. It's time to really make something happen.
Accompany your emails and posts with with a strong
admonishment to watch the film through, and that doing so will
show the viewer an individual-empowering, state-restraining
truth about the income tax which the government has been trying
to keep hidden from view for 75 years and which that person
really needs to know.
BY THE WAY, as is impossible to miss, I have
neither the skills nor the tools to make even moderately good
films. This is simply not my forte. Anyone able to do better is
encouraged to talk to me about that.
As is ALSO impossible to miss, though-- even in my
amateur production-- reader video testimonials have GREAT POWER.
Send me yours.
Elation, self-respect, liberation, relief-- not bad

Brian’s Column: The
Elation of a First-Time ‘Educated’ Filer
It’s the principle of it, but the
retained earnings bring a broad smile
“In
the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man,
and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause
succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing
to be a patriot.” — Mark Twain
Oh no! Not another Brian column on the
‘convenient truth’ of the Hendrickson Discovery… and
a call to Stand for Doreen. Yes, but this time it’s
more. Up close and personal. Despite my long advocacy of
Pete Hendrickson’s
Cracking the Code understanding and so-called
educated filing of federal income tax returns and
claims, I’ve never actually done so. I’ve had decent
reasons, my recent years of earnings have had no
withholding applied to them from clients who,
nonetheless, had filed information reports on me, and
basically I lacked a felt need to file 1040s to correct
or rebut the improperly reported ‘income.’
We’re not talking about large sums of money
here. [Nonetheless, thanks to my recent part-time
employee status that did withhold small amounts based on
improperly alleged income, I shall be filing to correct
and rebut those earlier erroneous claims.] This year,
however, I have had amounts erroneously withheld, so I
did file to correct and assert that those withholdings
be refunded to me. I completed the work on the 15th, not
realizing we had until today officially to postmark the
filings. AND… I… FEEL… GREAT!
Truly, this has been one of the most
liberating experiences in my life. Why? Because it
involves no anger, simply standing up as a man for the
law as it actually reads, not as the deception the
government and its vast network of apparatchiks want me
to believe. I am doing everything out in the open and in
the light of day, no tricks, no need for them. Just
applying the law, which is damned simple once you tap
into the core facts.
Years ago, when I tried to live more
conventional, I knew that something was seriously wrong
with the income tax and the insidious control and
domination that complying with it entailed. I wracked my
brain to figure out how to minimize the outrageous
extractions. Years after that I went as much as possible
off the books. All I succeeded in doing was become
pathologically angry and develop a serious drinking
problem.
Pete Hendrickson, himself, experienced
similar if less self-defeating symptoms… that is, until
he kept trying to understand the code as facilitated by
computer technology in the late 1990s. His book,
Cracking the Code: The fascinating truth about taxation
in America is a work of sustained genius—that stands
to liberate all Americans who have direct, federally
unprivileged earnings from the tyranny of April 15.[1]
Here’s how. From a flyer for
Cracking the Code and the Hendrickson Discovery:
Did you
know that…
The income tax is an excise
tax, not a direct tax? It applies only to
revenue in which the federal government has
a direct ownership interest?
What is called ‘income’ by the
Internal Revenue Code is not ‘money’ or
‘receipts’ or ‘earnings.’ It is defined as
receipts resulting from the exercise of a
federal privilege? Are you doing business
with or are you paid by the federal
government?
The income tax was instituted
in 1862? The 16th Amendment (1913) did not
expand the scope or definition of taxable
‘income?’ Until the 1940s only about 4% of
Americans (those who worked for or were
involved with the federal government) paid
annual income tax?
During WWII, the government
called for Americans to pay income tax to
support the war effort? Patriotically, many
citizens complied?
The Internal Revenue Code grew
to more than three-million words? A
wage-withholding program was instituted and
thousands of professionals now help
Americans prepare their tax returns?
Each year millions of W-2 and
1099 reports are issued for ‘wages’ or
‘non-employee compensation’ by payers who do
not understand that these forms are intended
for federally connected payments? W-2 and
1099 forms serve as legal testimony and, w/o
rebuttal, make the named individuals liable
for an ‘income’ tax?
The ‘Form 1040 U.S. Individual
Income Tax Return’ is intended as a way for
individuals to correct ‘testimony’ made
about them by others? Americans have until
April 15th of each year to correct their
record? Not filing a tax return waives your
right to properly report your income?
While Congress cannot take your
money directly, it has created a tax code
that is convoluted enough to deceive most
people? ‘Income,’ ‘wages,’ ‘employee,’
‘employer,’ and ‘trade or business’ are all
specifically defined in the Code [and all
these terms pertain exclusively to ‘receipts
resulting from the exercise of federal
privilege’], yet most of us interpret these
words in a common or everyday way?
Once a return (1040 Form) is
filed, it is legally valid and answers the
question of whether or not you were engaged
in taxable activities for that year? It is
the means—provided by law—for YOU to set the
record straight?
The US system is based on
individual self-assessment and voluntary
compliance? The government will accept your
money unless you inform it every year that
you are entitled to nonpayment or to a
refund of what you have paid?
So, that’s the picture. It’s 100% legit,
10s of thousands of individuals just like you have
recovered in aggregate more than $3 billion (verify
for yourself here). And today as I have filed
‘educated,’ and await my modest refunds—all withheld
funds that are based on income, when no income is
present (i.e. federal tax, Social Security, Medicare,
and state income taxes) come home to Papa. I expect no
hassles, it’s all routine, and I’ll post my refunds on
my site for the world to see.
The question is:
Why are you not
doing the same? Do you really believe
the federal government knows best how to use, what is
it, 35% of your earnings, now? Has it been behaving
responsibly with the $3 trillion it scrapes away every
year from Americans through deception and subterfuge? As
I’m actually writing this column, approximately one hour
remains until the April 18 midnight deadline… so
probably if you haven’t made the arrangements to learn
and apply the truth about the ‘income’ tax by now, it’s
too late to recover your property wrongfully taken for
2015. But it’s not too late to learn the truth for next
year, and the next one, and the next years after that.
Buy
the book, discover the truth, assert all your direct
earnings as yours and yours alone. Do it for yourself,
your family, your country, your planet, and your
species. It’s remarkably easy to ‘person up.’ And you’ll
like what you see in the mirror tomorrow morning.
[1] FYI: April 15, 2016
is 241 years after the British were ordered to march on
Lexington and Concord, Mass., thus leading to (on April
19th)
the first colonial armed resistance that produced
British casualties: the ‘shot heard ’round the
world’ and the beginning of American Independence.

"We went after Iraq, they did not knock down the
World Trade Center.
It wasn’t the Iraqis that knocked down the World
Trade Center, we went after Iraq, we decimated the country,
Iran’s taking over, okay. But it wasn’t the Iraqis, you will
find out who really knocked down the World Trade Center.
Because they have papers in there that are very
secret, you may find it’s the Saudis, okay?
But you will find out."
FOR A FEW WEEKS NOW I'VE HAD AN ENDORSEMENT of
Donald Trump posted
here. With an important series of primaries looming, I think
it's a good time to post a few more words on behalf of this
fellow who is the worst of all candidates-- except for all the
others:
...and as noted in the quote with which this
article opened, Trump is more interested in seeing to it
that Americans know what really happened on 9/11 than in
shielding and appeasing states and state leaders for whom
the political elite in Washington harbor an undue and
unhealthy affection.
I WANT GOOD RELATIONS with Russia; honesty about
Iran and the Ukraine; severing of the unnatural and improper
Israel/US Master/Blaster relationship; the truth about 9/11; an
end to aggressive war-making and the enrichment and empowerment
of the war-mongers; and a purge of all the connected and
entrenched deadwood in Washington. We might see some of
these things done during a Trump administration.
We also might see none of these things done should
Trump take office. But as I see things from a perspective of 40
years of close attention to the American political scene, we'll
have the opposite of each of these beneficial changes if Cruz,
Clinton, Kasich or Sanders gets into office.
Each of these alternative candidates will worsen
some or all of the things already gone so dangerously wrong in
Washington. After all, each of these alternative candidates has
been there and in power while these evils have flourished, or is
beholden to those benefiting from them.
Further, these alternative candidates, being
polished and practiced log-rollers and back-scratchers
accustomed to working with others of their own kind and
comfortable with any despicable domestic policy proposal to come
down the pike will actually get some of those domestic policies
passed into law (think "Obamacare", or "The PATRIOT Act"). The
ham-handed and doesn't-play-well-with-others Trump never will,
even should he really try (and his truly outrageous domestic
policy positions, as articulated so far, would be struck down by
the courts even if they managed to make it into law).
In sum, the alternatives to Trump are
business-as-usual-dangerous on both the foreign-policy side and
the domestic-policy side. Trump will only be effective on
foreign policy, and will tend to be effective in a good way.
There is little attractive about Donald Trump. But
he's not one of them, and that's good enough.
Go Trump.
P.S. There is an interesting website now operating
at
http://libertariansfortrump.org/. Many good articles by many
good people making arguments similar to my comments above. It's
worth a visit.
May 10- In 1768, John Wilkes is imprisoned for
writing an article critical of King George III. The arrest
prompts a riot by his supporters. In 1775, the Second
Continental Congress convenes in Philadelphia. In 1801, the
Barbary Pirates of Tripoli declare war on the United States of
America after newly-inaugurated President Thomas Jefferson
decided to stop paying them the tribute they had been receiving
from previous administrations. In 1869, the Lincoln
administration's transcontinental railroad is completed when the
Central Pacific and Union Pacific railroad lines meet in
Promontory Summit, Utah. The Union Pacific organization had
built west from Council Bluffs, Iowa (a spot which was, at the
time of selection, 150 miles from the nearest existing rail
line, but which offered Lincoln personal political and financial
benefits); Central had built east from Sacramento. Both rail
lines were heavily subsidized with land grants and were made
subject to permanent significant federal control, as were a
number of other smaller lines contracted to construct feeders
from major terminal cities along the way. In 1994, Nelson
Mandela is inaugurated as president of South Africa after
spending 27 years in prison for "crimes against the state",
which included a campaign of sabotage against military and
civilian government targets, and the making of plans for a
guerilla war against the government. In 2012, terrorists
supported by the United States detonated two suicide car bombs
outside government buildings in Damascus, Syria, killing 55 and
injuring 400. Some voices challenge that assignment of
responsibility, claiming that the Assad regime carried out the
bombings itself as a false-flag operation designed to justify
the regime's past and future actions. But everyone knows THAT
kind of thing never happens, right?
Educated, grown-up American Brendan Trainor shares
his excellent example
Mr. Vance:
Very good article on tax deductions "Are
tax deductions subsidies?" LewRockwell.com April 14,
2016.
However, unless that actress who lobbied
Congress received her salary from a federal grant or
contract of some kind, she really didn't have to lobby
Congress for her deduction. She could have simply
rebutted the presumption that her earnings were
statutory wages as declared by those who issued her a
W-2 or 1099, on her tax return, like thousands of
Americans do today.
Ms. Karas did her lobbying in 1986, so she
can be forgiven for believing that she had to travel to
Washington DC to get a deduction. However, in 1986 there
were people criticizing her understanding of the tax
laws, but due to the inability of the mainstream media
to understand them, or desire to understand them,
she may not have heard of these criticisms. Or perhaps
being someone of "New York Values", she herself did not
want to understand them.
In 2003, a libertarian in Michigan named
Peter Hendrickson wrote the book on tax deductions,
which thousands, perhaps hundreds of thousands of
Americans use to get the biggest deductions of all- a
100% refund of income tax withholdings, and if asked for
, social security and medicare taxes as well. All these
taxes are excise taxes, and as such cannot be laid on
unwilling participants in the free market economy.
Perhaps you would like more information on
this "biggest loophole of all?". I will send a link for
you to Mr. Hendrickson's website, called
Lost
Horizons.
Or perhaps not. Perhaps like most of the
libertarian/conservative establishment, you want to deny
the reality of how the income tax actually works. Too
bad, because then you will continue to write articles on
the tax that are of limited truth and will not advance
the cause of liberty very far. Just as the
libertarian/conservative establishment lost the biggest
tax case of recent times, the Obamacare case, NFIB vs
Sebellius, because they didn't understand the income
tax. Instead of admitting their ignorance of the tax
laws, they continue to blame Chief Justice Roberts.
Who will you blame? Despite your lack of
intellectual curiosity as displayed by your
unwillingness so far to engage this libertarian in
Michigan, thousands of Americans will find their
way to the Lost Horizons website, and the people's
knowledge will grow. When the truth becomes more widely
known, and your children ask did you speak up, what will
you tell them?

The IRS and SSA Share A Nice
Institutional Acknowledgement Of CtC
It's always gratifying when these agencies just
come right out and admit the truth...
OVER THE 12+ YEARS SINCE
CtC REVEALED the liberating truth about the income tax,
government agencies have steadily issued acknowledgements of
that truth to the real American men and women who have applied
those revelations and upheld the true rule of law. These
acknowledgements most commonly take the form of
complete refunds of every penny taken from someone under the
auspices of the tax.
But sometimes other forms of acknowledgement are
presented. Today we're going to look at one of these more
unusual varieties, an example of which was recently sent to one
of those real Americans who are standing up to enforce the
Constitution.
THE GOOD FELLOW WHO RECEIVED the unusual
acknowledgement at which we're about to look is an accomplished
upholder of the law. He has three proudly-posted victories to
his credit so far since learning the truth about the tax a few
years ago, successfully overcoming false assertions that his
earnings were subject to the income tax, and recovering
everything withheld from him in connection with that tax during
each of those three years.
But for today, this gentleman's name is going to go
unmentioned, because despite the IRS having faced the truth
concerning his earnings for each of those other years (after
subjecting each claim to the agency's routine rigorous scrutiny),
for some reason the IRS employee that began to process this
man's 2012 filing has been dragging his or her feet. A lawsuit
is in progress, and what we're going to look at is relevant to
that. Our friend doesn't want to show his hand too soon.
So, there is no name to show until this contest is
over. But the chink in the tax agency's stonewall that was
revealed a few weeks ago will be of great interest to all
nonetheless.
WITHOUT ANY PROMPTING, and to our hero's
considerable surprise, out of the blue and into the mailbox came
a notice from the Social Security Administration announcing the
IRS acknowledgment that our hero's earnings as a contractor in
2012 don't qualify as IRC-defined "self-employment income" (the
kind of contractor pay that is subject to the tax). Our hero's
educated rebuttal of the contrary "1099-MISC" assertions of his
payer, on which the tax agency had been mindlessly relying, has
prevailed.
This kind of inter-agency acknowledgement happens
constantly. But for the filer to get notice of it is rare.
The SSA's accounting of taxable earnings
used to calculate any benefits for which our friend might someday
want to apply has been reduced accordingly, of course. But even
if the gentleman hasn't already accumulated the maximum credit
(as many folks of a certain age have done long since, over years
of suffering the misapplication of the tax prior to learning the
truth) I don't think he minds...
Here's the notice:
Isn't it nice when these bureaucrats finally give
up on lying and stonewalling and just do the right thing?
Frankly, I'm as happy for the one that found the right path to
walk here as I am for our hero.

May 11- In 1310, 54
members of the Knights Templar are burned at the stake as
heretics, having been tortured into confessions to this effect
by on the orders of King Philip IV of France, who was deeply in
debt to the order, and saw the charges as a way of eliminating
this problem and allowing the seizure of Templar assets, to boot
. In 1858, Minnesota becomes the 32nd of the several states,
and is admitted into the union as such. In 1973, charges
against Daniel Ellsberg for releasing "the Pentagon Papers", a
7,000-page top-secret United States government report about the
history of the Government's internal planning and policy
concerning the Vietnam War, are dismissed.
True American Joe Black Testifies And Shares Victories For
Liberty And The Rule Of Law
...as every American
should...
EDUCATED AMERICAN GROWN-UP JOE BLACK has
stood up and acted to enforce the law upon its domestic
enemies-- or, at least, upon agencies of the state whose
operators seem to happily exploit ignorance and mis-apply the
law at every chance for their personal benefit.
Get inspired and encouraged by Joe's video sharing his spirit,
his testimony and the acknowledgements he has secured:
Find more testimonial videos
here, and please, people, share these around as widely as
you can. To learn what, how and why to share your own testimony
(with or without mere practical victories to go along with the
far more important spiritual victories that are the real heart
of
CtC), click

You, like most folks, have been fooled into inadvertently
agreeing that your economic activities are exercises of
privilege, thereby allowing the tax to be applied to your
earnings. Why is this so hard for you to admit?
I GUESS THESE ACTUALLY LEAD TO A THIRD SIMPLE QUESTION: If you
really feel that all these things of which you complain are so
bad, why are you not helping more Americans understand the
nature of the tax and the ill effects of it being misunderstood
and misapplied?
Learn how and why you should ask every journalist in the
so-called "alt-media" these questions
here.
PRO TIP: By the
physics of the law, an indirect tax is necessarily a
privilege tax. Here's why:
The distinction between a
direct tax and an indirect tax is incidence. A
direct tax arises by the direct imposition of the
taxer, without any election of the taxed (other than
that of authorizing the taxing power in the first
place).
An
indirect tax arises by the taxed
choosing to to do
something by which the taxer's claim is then
created. The choice that is a valid object of an
indirect tax can't be anything done as an exercise
of an untaxable right. Nor can it be any activity of
necessity. A tax on anything done by necessity would
arise not by actual election of the taxed but simply
because the tax had been imposed by the taxer. Such
a tax, whatever it may be called, would be in actual
substance a direct tax, even if one that arose only
intermittently. Think of a tax on eating, for
example, or working, or engaging in trade with
others (all of which are things done by right as
well as by necessity, but you get the point).
What is left as the
valid object of an indirect tax is the exercise of
privilege-- something done not by right, and
therefore done by the permission of the taxer (who,
due to being possessed of an ownership right in the
thing being permitted, is entitled to claim of
portion of the proceeds when the thing is profitably
used).
"[Although the Legislature
may declare as privileges and tax as such for State
revenue purposes those pursuits and occupations that
are not matters of common right], the Legislature
has no power to declare as a privilege and tax for
revenue purposes occupations that are of common
right."
If you're not talking this one up everywhere and
helping generate a buzz, you don't really want liberty and the
rule of law...
PRO TIP: The
argument that a concept explicitly given a statutory
definition for purposes of this or that chapter or
"title" has the same meaning as the common word the
legislature has borrowed for its label-- which
meaning plainly didn't suit the legislature's
purposes, hence its replacement-- is a preposterous
reading of the law.
“It is axiomatic that the
statutory definition of the term excludes unstated
meanings of that term.”
Meese v. Keene
, 481
U.S. 465 (1987);
“[W]e are not at liberty to
put our gloss on the definition that Congress
provided by looking to the generally accepted
meaning of the defined term.”
Tenn. Prot. & Advocacy Inc. v. Wells,
371 F.3d 342 (6th Cir. 2004).
In light of
the actual evidence, those
who doubt or
deny the accuracy and correctness of
CtC just
because government officials make weaselly
representations against it are like the 16th-century Europeans who
were mystified by
Copernicus getting all those
astronomical predictions right even though the
church had said he was wrong.

DO YOU NOTICE THAT MESSAGE ON THE T-SHIRT being
worn by the lovely model of the 'I Stand with Doreen'
care-bracelet? It reads, THINK. It's not illegal yet!
But you know what? The charge against Doreen is an
effort by the state to make it so.
Doreen was charged, remember, with
criminally-refusing to cede control of her expressions to the
state. Now, I'll grant you that technically her thoughts would
remain her own, but if the state can dictate what everyone says,
then pretty soon that atmosphere of controlled expressions will
result in first influencing, and then ultimately controlling
what everyone thinks.
If the State gets away with establishing the
precedent that every written expression-- even just those on
testimonial instruments-- can be required to echo the state's
preferred view of things, the fate of free thinking and liberty
is obvious (and it's not good).

Ignorance of the true nature of the "income" tax

Are You Having Trouble Spreading The
Word?
SKEPTICISM (SOMETIMES INVOKED BY FEAR) IS TO BE
EXPECTED when you're trying to explain to someone that
everything they've been encouraged their whole lives to
believe about something as entrenched and significant as the
income tax is basically nonsense. So here's a way to help
cut through the resistance:
Ask your listener how he or she would react if
you were to show an announcement from the Commissioner of
Internal Revenue admitting that the tax doesn't apply to the
earnings of most Americans and is misapplied most of the
time because people don't understand how it works? Or how
about if you showed a ruling from the Supreme Court saying
the same?
Now you just have to explain that
you're going to show exactly those things-- but because
the state really doesn't want people to know this, these
things haven't been said quite as forthrightly as we would
all wish. It's going to take a bit more work to take these
admissions in than is sufficient for just reading a press
release. But it'll be worth the effort...

Feds Deny Appeal for IRS Whistleblower, Set
Shocking Precedent Against Free Speech in American Courts!
by Shane Trejo
The Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati has
denied an appeal for Doreen Hendrickson, whistle-blower turned
sacrificial lamb for IRS tyranny, effectively ruling that the First
and Sixth Amendments are not binding on the federal judiciary.
Since the release of her husband Pete Hendrickson’s
seminal work,
Cracking the Code: The Fascinating Truth About Taxation In America,
federal and state governments have had to return billions of dollars
to claimants over the past 13 years. Doreen Hendrickson’s
persecution has come as the result of a desperate effort to suppress
revelations about the income tax via character assassination and a
Soviet-style show trial!
The testimonials of those whose property has been saved
from illegal IRS tax collection are
available online or in this 24 minute video:
It's great that independent journalist
Shane Trejo has written this important article. But it needs to be
seen by many more Americans than just those on my mailing list.
PLEASE help make that happen by posting
this link to the article everywhere you can! Provide an
explanation why people should click the link and read the article.
(If you just say, "Click this link, you'll be interested" or the
equivalent, people won't.)
If you have a webpage of your own post the

done. Together, we can awaken some of our neighbors to their peril.

Even as ardent a statist as Abraham
Lincoln, in announcing his willingness to burn the Southern states to the ground in order to
keep them paying the tariff for the benefit of Northern interests in
his first inaugural address on March 4, 1861, paid at least lip
service to the Founders design of leaving control over the fuel
available to feed the fires Washington wants to light in the hands
of the individual citizenry when he said, "Doing this I deem to
be only a simple duty on my part; and I shall perform it, unless my
rightful masters, the American people, shall withhold the requisite
means..."
May 14- In 1796, the
world's first smallpox vaccination is administered. In 1804,
the Lewis and Clark Expedition sets off. 1948, Jewish residents
in the British "Mandate of Palestine" (who comprised about one
third of the total population at the time, and owned less than
15% of the land) reject a United Nations plan to divide the
mandate into equal-sized Jewish and Palestinian states (with
Jerusalem under international administration) and declare the
independent state of Israel, one day before the formal
expiration of the mandate. In 1961 the "Freedom Riders" bus is
fire-bombed near Anniston, Alabama, and the civil-rights
protestors are beaten by an angry mob. In 1998, the final
episode of 'Seinfeld' airs.

Hendrickson is also a widely-read essayist on matters of
politics, public policy and law; many of these works are
collected in his second book, ‘Upholding
the Law And Other Observations’. He is a member of
Mensa; an
award-winning artist; and has paid his dues as a youth
soccer coach. He is a long-time political activist as
well, and has served as co-chair and platform convention
delegate of Michigan’s largest county Libertarian Party
organization; as a consultant to the National Right to Work
Foundation and Citizens for a Sound Economy; as a member of the
Heartland Institute; and as a member of the International
Society for Individual Liberty. He is a frequent
radio-show guest on stations across the country.
Hendrickson's business career has included nearly a
decade-and-a-half at the leading edge of the renewable-energy
industry, both as Director of Purchasing and Materials
Management and member of the R&D board at Starpak Energy
Systems, the mid-west's then-largest solar heating and
energy-recovery-and re-utilization company; and as founder and
president of AFJ Inc., a high-efficiency lighting design,
manufacture and installation firm.
Beginning in the mid-1990s and continuing for the twelve years
before his present full-time focus on the restoration of the
rule of law in America, Hendrickson directed purchasing
activities for the $84 million-a-year multi-family-housing
division of the Farmington Hills, Michigan branch of Edward Rose
and Sons, with responsibility for 18,000+ apartments, direct
supervision of 35 technicians and agents, and incidental
authority over several hundred divisional workers. He also
ran the division's 10 cable television earth-station and
distribution systems in four states, and designed and
administered the company's website.
On
rather the other end of the spectrum, amidst these more mundane
pursuits Hendrickson co-founded and was the primary creative
force behind a small
board- and
card-game company that enjoyed a modest success for several
years.
Hendrickson makes his home in southeast Michigan, with his wife
and two children. He is currently working on his next
book.
