"The preservation of a free government requires, not
merely that the metes and bounds which separate
each department of power be invariably maintained, but
more especially that neither of them be suffered to
overleap the great barrier which defends the rights
of the people. The rulers who are guilty of such
encroachment exceed the commission from which they derive
their authority, and are TYRANTS. The people who
submit to it are governed by laws made neither by themselves
nor by an authority derived from them and are slaves….."

HEY, PEOPLE! Please don't just
read what I post here (or anywhere), and nod your head sagely or
approvingly and then move on to other things. I don't post in order
to affirm your sense of things. I post in order to equip you with
perspectives and arguments with which to
educate others, and in the
expectation that you will forward my posts to other people (or
direct them to those posts). PLEASE do those things.
We won't win by YOU knowing what I

Louisiana AG Jeff Landry Steps Up With A Good Swing At
The "Lockdown" Crimes
And a Louisiana Liberty Key Has been produced to put even more
power behind his bat...
JEFF LANDRY, ATTORNEY GENERAL of the Pelican State, has issued a
very welcome and fairly solid legal condemnation of the various C19
hysteria-edicts issued by Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards. Landry's
denunciation is particularly interesting in that the substance of the orders
being addressed, in significant instances, mirrors that of edicts issued by
other would-be despots around the country-- including those of Michigan
Governess Gretchen Whitmer
discussed in detail here.
Good as Landry's slap-around of Edwards' pretensions may be (and it
is-- see it here), he
nonetheless fails to make the most fundamental and the most powerful and
dispositive presentation that could (and should) be made. Accordingly, upon
being alerted to Landry's good efforts and plainly righteous intentions by the
excellent Janice Daniels, I have gone ahead and cranked out 'The
Louisiana "Lockdown" Liberty And Accountability Key'.
Like
all the others, the new Louisiana
Liberty Key DOES
make
the fundamental and dispositive presentation
of the invalidity of John Bel Edwards'
edicts. This is not a presentation
condemning the offending measures for being
internally inconsistent, or wrong-headed
economically. Instead, it is a bedrock
invalidation through a close analysis and
application of express prescriptions and
proscriptions of the People's Law-- the
Louisiana Constitution.
SO, THE PRODUCTION OF THE
LOUISIANA KEY is done. What remains is
getting it into the hands of Landry, for
one, along with members of the Louisiana
legislature and citizens of the state (with
the latter two targets being even more
important than Landry himself).
I hope I can count on everyone
in the
CtC community to do everything possible
to see that this task is completed, and
without delay. The liberties and
preservation of the rule of law for all of
us are increasingly in peril with each and
every American government that falls to
despotism and with each and every day that
corruption is allowed to persist.
***
BTW, I AM HAPPY to be able to
share with everyone a very heart-warming
provision I was pleased to
come across in Louisiana's Constitution
while researching the Liberty Key materials.
I think you'll feel the same way:
Article I § 26.
State Sovereignty
The people of this
state have the sole and exclusive right of
governing themselves as a free and sovereign
state; and do, and forever hereafter shall,
exercise and enjoy every power,
jurisdiction, and right, pertaining thereto,
which is not, or may not hereafter be, by
them expressly delegated to the United
States of America in congress assembled.
Gotta love it, right? "...which
is not, or may not hereafter be, by them
expressly delegated..."
Other states, such as Virginia and Rhode
Island, for instance, have famously
articulated reservations of sovereignty--
particularly upon their ratification of the
current U.S. Constitution. But it is
particularly powerful to put plain language
of this sort right in a state's
fundamental law.
I fear that this inspired and
inspiring Constitutional provision is widely
unknown to the people of Louisiana
themselves, however. In any event, I have
seen little or no invocation by Louisiana of
this provision and its intent-- the
acceptance of federal authority only insofar
as it is derived from, and conforms to,
EXPRESS delegations by the state-- in any
litigation or public declaration.
Maybe I've just missed such
invocations. Either way, I think that in
addition to getting the Louisiana "Lockdown"
Liberty And Accountability Key into the
hands of all citizens of the state, we
should alert them all to Article I § 26, as
well.
What's your sign, Baby? How about this one:
"Like a muddied stream or a polluted fountain is the righteous man
who gives way before the wicked."
-Proverbs 25:26
"I am only one, but I am one. I
cannot do everything, but I can do something.
What I can do, I should do and, with the help
of God, I will do."
-Everett Hale
"Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never
will. Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have the
exact measure of the injustice and wrong which will be imposed on them, and
these will continue till they have been resisted with either words or blows, or
with both. The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom
they suppress."
-Frederick Douglass
"A nation of sheep begets a government of wolves."
-Edward R. Murrow
"Be the change you want to see
in the world."
-Mohandas Gandhi
"It is proper to take alarm at
the first experiment on our liberties. We
hold this prudent jealousy to be the first
duty of Citizens and one of the noblest
characteristics of the late Revolution. The
free men of America did not wait till
usurped power had strengthened itself by
exercise and entangled the question in
precedents. They saw all the consequences in
the principle, and they avoided the
consequences by denying the principle."
A Couple Of
Words About Recent Federal Kidnappings
Another push on the
envelope that needs to be quickly called out and slapped down.
OMINOUS WORD HAS COME OF VANS
carrying federal agents from one or another
three-letter which troll about Portland,
Oregon snatching people off the streets. The
declared reason for this bizarre and very
disturbing step outside the law, as
articulated in
a statement by the Department of Homeland
Security through its 'U.S. Customs and
Border Protection' unit, is suspicions that
the kidnap victims are guilty of "assaults
against federal agents or destruction of
federal property".
I am not going to pretend to
have spent a whole lot of time on this
issue-- I haven't. In fact, I really just
became aware of it Sunday morning from an
article in the paper. But even without any
dig-in, it can be said with some confidence
that the feds have no more proper authority
to be snatching people off the streets of
Portland for offenses committed in Portland
against federal property or personnel than
would New York have to dispatch cops into
Pennsylvania to similarly seize "suspects"
thought to have done damage in the Keystone
state to some New York artifact presently
away from home.
Crimes committed against
ANYBODY'S property or persons within Oregon
are within the exclusive bailiwick of Oregon
(or in this case, perhaps Portland, as well)
to address. Even when the aggrieved party is
the arrogant Uncle Sam, he is then no more
than a plaintiff or complainant. Unless the
crime is being committed, and the suspect
found, on federal property itself, Uncle Sam
and all his minions have no more authority
to unilaterally hunt down and seize an alleged perp than you do.
OF COURSE, ALL THE ABOVE is
also without considering
the Fourth Amendment/probable cause issue, which would
arise here as well even if the snatching had
happened on federal land. As the matter is
absurdly justified in the DHS/CPB statement:
"CBP agents had information indicating
the person in the video was suspected of
assaults against federal agents or
destruction of federal property", paper, there
would seem to be no credible basis for an
arrest no matter where the kidnapping took
place.
Now, don't get me wrong. I want
to see every vandal responsible for damaging
or destroying anybody else's property
brought to justice. And it is easy to
sympathize with the frustration of anyone
watching their property harmed while the
local police stand about doing nothing.
But the real answer for the
feds is to station personnel at each
installation of Uncle Sam's property (of
which there are actually very few), with
instructions to protect it from harm by
whatever means necessary. The real answer
for the people of the states and cities in
which the hyena-packs roam is to do the
same, while also organizing to yank the
thumb-twiddling mayors and other officials
responsible for the local law enforcement
paralysis from their positions of trust and
honor and replace them with others who take
their duty seriously.
And the real answer to the
lawless kidnappings is not ruminating about
them as I have done here. Instead, that real
answer is the arrest and prosecution of the
kidnappers by the people of the states and
cities in which they have been committed.
BTW, WHILE WE'RE ON THE SUBJECT
of corrupt or improper law-enforcement
activities, let me take the opportunity to
once again encourage every single person in
the country, whether a federal official or
not, to stand up straight and tall for a
congressional invalidation of the
judge-created doctrine of "immunity"--
qualified or otherwise. That doctrine is
wrong, harmful, and Constitutionally
illegal, and it is by its application over
several decades that many Americans--
especially Americans of color and those
living in urban areas-- have come to view
police officers as completely unrestrained
and unaccountable threats to their
well-being and that of their children.
I have some material regarding
the "immunity doctrine", and why it is
legally invalid and pernicious, as well,
here.
It must be said, in regard to
that earlier-posted material, that at this
point-- a bit removed from the early days
after the death of George Floyd-- the
ascription of Floyd's death to the hands of
Derek Chauvin appears to very possibly have
been an unfortunate jump to conclusions. The
emerging evidence over past weeks (or the
appearance thereof) raises the suspicion
that Floyd actually died from a fentanyl
overdose.
One still must wonder what part
Chauvin's knee on Floyd's carotid for those
last eight minutes of his life might have
played; nonetheless, the current caveat is
fitting. And it is also beside the larger
point, which is that whatever may have
happened in George Floyd's case, "immunity"
of government officials is wrong and
illegal.
Please read the material, and raise your
voice.
A handy, concise drill-down on
this important point.
THOSE FOLLOWING ALONG HERE over
the last several months will know that I've
written quite a lot on the subject of the
actual distribution data concerning C19.
I've also written a lot on the relevance of
that actual data to the "climbing cases"
nonsense and related rationales for
continuing or renewing disastrous and
illegal "lockdown" and "mandatory masking"
policies.
Last week I decided it would be
helpful in continuing to pursue the latter
class of subjects to construct a single,
tightly-packaged treatment of the
distribution issue, which otherwise has seen
mostly fleeting touchdowns of varying depth
made in the course of writing about the
other issues. Others might find that concise
treatment useful for opening masked minds,
as well.
So:
Social Distancing Has Done Nothing
"SOCIAL DISTANCING", "SHELTERING IN PLACE" AND MASKS have
done
nothing to stem the spread of C19 infection. Here's the data
supporting this assertion:
During the three month
period prior to March 16, when the first "social distancing" and
"shelter in place" and "mask-mandate" nonsense began,
fully a billion people flew on airplanes from everywhere to
everywhere-- including tens of millions to all points in the USA
from places like Wuhan, Italy, EVERYWHERE.
Eventually there was a
limited restriction on entry of travelers from Wuhan put in place,
but it didn't go into effect until January 31, only imposed a 14-day
quarantine, and didn't apply to US citizens or residents. The next
restriction (limiting
entry from travelers from Iran) wasn't imposed until February 29. A few
more restrictions concerning travel from certain places in Europe only went into
effect March 14 (and another concerning Brazil took effect in late May).
Now, Covid-19 is purportedly even more virulent than
the flu (and in any event is at least as virulent). Thus, long before the "six feet away" stuff and all the
rest had become a 24/7 shamanistic drumbeat on every mainstream
media outlet, C19
must have spread at least as far as had that more mundane, somehow-not-panic-inducing disease during the same time.
So, by March 16-- BEFORE
the "shelter in place" martial law impositions that sprang up like
evil liberty, prosperity, and rule-of-law-destroying toadstools--
it can confidently be concluded that far
more than 36 - 51 million Americans had already been
infected with Covid-19.
Plainly, late March "shelter in place", "social distancing"
and "masking" edicts and other associated martial law
impositions did nothing to mitigate
whatever threat "the pandemic" presented. THEY WERE ALL
TOO LATE TO KEEP THAT THREAT FROM
BEING FULLY REALIZED.
NOW, BTW, IT'S REASONABLE TO WONDER, with 36 - 51 million C19 cases going by March 16
(again, the day before the "shelter in place" nonsense began)--
the bulk of them having run their dire course during the three prior
months-- how many deaths from C19 purportedly occurred during that
period in the USA?
36 - 51 million cases-- which is to say, 36 - 51
million Americans infected with the disease-- and only 97 deaths (and
pretty much all of those in nursing homes, involving very old
victims afflicted with co-morbidities). Hardly a horror-fest.
Want to dispute my infection-rate analysis? Fine. Go for
it.
'Cause here's the thing: 97 dead isn't even a significant
case fatality rate, and isn't justification for edicts concerning "shelter in
place", "social distancing", "masking" or any other panicky citizen
behavior or draconian governmental response if my numbers are off by
an order of magnitude. Even at the lower end, that'd only be a death
rate of .0027%! (To see why the numbers of declared C19 deaths suddenly
escalated in late March,
read this post.)
BOTTOM LINE: "Social distancing", "sheltering in place"
and masks-- and all the associated
martial law impositions-- did
nothing to mitigate the pandemic. All they did
was test the waters as to how far into self-destructive madness
Americans can be driven by a cabal of corrupt politicians and
presstitutes at the behest of the 1% who took advantage of the cover
to loot the American economy of at least $2 trillion and climbing.
THIS VIDEO PROJECTS THE PROGRESS of a nuclear exchange between Russia and
the United States. It's frightening, as it should
be, as well as sobering and instructive. My only
criticisms are, first of all, that it fails to
account for the imbalance that will now be present
in any such exchange due to
the new Russian
hypersonic weapons.
Secondly, the video fails to account
for China's contribution to the exchange against the
US, which is a virtual certainty. China knows that
if Russia goes, and the US survives, it goes soon
after. So, that will not be allowed to happen.
CAN YOU EVEN IMAGINE how abysmally
stupid someone would have to be to continue to doubt
or deny that
CtC has revealed the actual, complete and insurmountable
truth about the income tax in light of the overwhelming
mountain of
historical,legal,
practical and
logical evidence to the contrary? (Not to mention
the
outright lies and even
ludicrous hoaxes the executive and some corrupt
members of the judiciary have been caught at in desperate
efforts to conceal the truth...)
Plainly any such denier must either be
abysmally stupid or be an abysmally corrupt government
official or other person who sees him or herself as
benefitting from the lies about the tax by which America
has suffered for 75 years now.
Isn't this true?

for someone to come and free him."

Important guest observations
and commentary with an important afterword
by Yours Truly
Notorious Fourth: Independence Day in the Land of
the Captive, the Home of the Cowed
by Michael Lesher
COVID19, that ersatz
apocalypse, has never come anywhere close to killing
the
two million Americans we were solemnly assured
might succumb to it a few months ago. But, judging
from the state of things on this year’s Independence
Day, I’m afraid its propagandists in government and
mass media may have actually done worse than that:
they may have succeeded in killing America itself.
True, you’d never
have guessed that from watching the display
of fireworks that festooned my urban horizon
after dark on the Fourth of July –
American’s annual orgy of
self-congratulation intended to commemorate
the colonies’ declaration of independence
from Great Britain in 1776. I suppose you
can always count on the American public to
explode things with relish – it’s just a
pity they haven’t taken a similar pleasure
in exploding the deceptions of their ruling
class.
Watching those
futile bursts of sound and color (produced
by a population that has effectively been
living under dictatorship since early
March), I found myself wishing for a genuine
eruption, like the one that poured out of
Frederick Douglass in 1852 as that former
slave lambasted the hypocrisy of celebrating
the Declaration of Independence’s
pronouncement “all men are created equal” in
a land that tolerated – in fact, demanded –
the subjugation of a huge proportion of its
inhabitants:
"I do not hesitate
to declare, with all my soul, that the
character and conduct of this nation never
looked blacker to me than on this 4th of
July! […] America is false to the past,
false to the present, and solemnly binds
herself to be false to the future […] I
will, in the name of humanity which is
outraged, in the name of liberty which is
fettered, in the name of the constitution
and the Bible, which are disregarded and
trampled upon, dare to call in question and
to denounce, with all the emphasis I can
command, everything that serves to
perpetuate slavery – the great sin and shame
of America!”
Today, I sit in an
apartment building in which I am not
permitted to walk without a muzzle on my
face, in a city full of churches and
synagogues where people are still forbidden
to worship normally (it is Big Brother, not
God, to whom we must turn in the Coming of
Corona), in a state where the performing
arts are banned, where holding hands in
public can get you fined, where thousands of
retail businesses may operate only under
absurd restrictions – and where all these
confinements issue from the arbitrary will
of a governor who has
unilaterally declared himself above the
legislature, the courts and the
Constitution.
Today, in short,
every citizen of New Jersey lives under the
rule of a police state. And it’s no better
for the inhabitants of thirty or more other
states in what we used to call “the land of
the free,” where tens of millions of new
unemployment applications and the
mushrooming of what experts call
“diseases of despair” attest to the brutal
victory of the lockdown maniacs over the
Bill of Rights.
And what’s the
reaction? From the mainstream news media –
silence. From America’s public intellectuals
– silence. From politicians who once boasted
of mumbling a few words in criticism of the
Patriot Act or of the Republican Party for
its policy of “voter suppression” – silence.
Where are today’s
Frederick Douglasses to lament the wholesale
destruction of democracy? Who mourns for a
United States of America that in less than
four months has tossed aside whatever
remained of the Bill of Rights with no more
ceremony than if it were peeling a potato?
One hardly knows
whether to laugh or to cry when reviewing
the contrast between what does and doesn’t
appear in what we charitably call our “news”
media. In the last few days, I have
repeatedly read
dire warnings about the possible
consequences of combining fireworks with
hand sanitizer, it being assumed (I guess)
that no self-respecting American would dream
of venturing outside to set off a Roman
candle without washing his hands in
antiseptic solution at least once every ten
minutes. Such is the power of brainwashing.
Then there’s the
piece dated July 2 in the grand old National
Geographic,
explaining yet again (this time on the
basis of a hastily-constructed “model”) that
COVID19 is at least 50 to 100 times as
lethal as a typical flu. The premises
underlying the new “model” look suspiciously
flimsy to me, but since I’m not a scientist
I’ll set that question aside in favor of one
that must be obvious to anyone who can nudge
the needle on an EEG.
It’s simply this:
if COVID19 is “at least” fifty times as
deadly as the seasonal flu; and if the
official statistics of the Center for
Disease Control and Prevention routinely
attribute more than 30,000 annual deaths in
the U.S. to seasonal flu (which they do);
then doesn’t it follow that COVID19 would
have to be responsible for at least one and
half million deaths in this country, by the
article’s own reckoning? Yet we all know the
lockdown-lovers themselves aren’t predicting
a death toll even remotely that high. In a
word, this claim (like so many others) is
nothing more than fear-mongering propaganda;
the purveyors can’t possibly believe their
own hype.
Meanwhile, I
searched mainstream media in vain for
comment about things more eventful than tips
on hand sanitizers or yet another carnival
barker talking up the Terrors of the Corona.
We’ve known for
some time now that “service sector jobs” –
that is, jobs held overwhelmingly by the
working poor – have been
“decimated as a result of the coronavirus
shutdowns.” And we know that millions of
Americans who rent their dwellings will
likely face eviction soon because of the
soaring levels of poverty that have resulted
from our masters’ touching concern for our
health. Yet I could find no expressions of
worry about these facts from any of the
media’s professional pundits as they
prepared to watch Fourth of July fireworks
from the comfort of their living rooms.
Nor was there one
single news item about an event I found to
be of some political significance,
particularly at a time our nation
memorializes a revolt against arbitrary
British rule. I refer to the
diktat issued by the governor of my state
on July 2, by which – for the fourth time in
as many months – he unilaterally extended
New Jersey’s “state of emergency,” thus
granting himself quasi-dictatorial powers to
keep the citizenry under lock and key.
I have pointed out
in previous articles that the
dissolution of democracy undertaken several
months ago in forty separate states
(including mine) was grounded in a law
designed for catastrophic incidents of
biological terrorism – something not
even remotely approximated by the
coronavirus – and that even if these
declarations of emergency were valid (a
dubious proposition at best), the imposition
of mass quarantines that placed most of the
population under virtual house arrest were
likely illegal and probably amounted to
violations of the Fourteenth Amendment’s
guarantee of “due process of law.”
Compounding all
this with a fourth unilateral extension of
his one-man rule, Governor Murphy went to
the breath-bereaving extreme of eschewing
the separation of powers altogether. His
explanation of the continuing “emergency”
that justified shredding New Jersey law and
the U.S. Constitution has to be read to be
believed, so I am forced to quote more of it
than weak stomachs may be able to bear at
one sitting:
ALTHOUGH MICHAEL LESHER IS A LITTLE
OFF-TARGET in assessing the legal problems with New
Jersey's gubernatorial diktats (which might be
called, "Murphy's laws", right? Gotta love that...),
he does a great job articulating the harms they are
inflicting, and the absurdity of some of the
premises on which they are purportedly based.
More importantly, Lesher does a
great job focusing attention on the shameful
silence of those with a duty-- by virtue of
the honors society has afforded them-- to
speak about all of these things. That is,
journalists, intellectuals, and politicians.
Assuming that these silent
figures are not deliberately complicit in
the coup taking place across America, and
that they are themselves drinkers of the
Covid Kool Aid, they seem to have decided
that their health and their convenience
(that is, being spared having to
self-quarantine or wear PPE until they feel
safe in public-- which might not be until
all the rest of us have been vaccinated for
their sake) overrides their obligation to
uphold the rule of law. What I hear in that
silence is this:
"So these measures will destroy
the economy and drive you out of business
and erode your savings through
hyper-inflation and lock you down in your
homes and terrorize your small children and
make suspect the next election and trample
on your rights to assemble and organize
meaningful opposition to all of this! So
what?! Better all that than I risk getting a
virus!!"
Pretty despicable.
ANYWAY, THERE ARE TWO ANSWERS
to the C19 crisis. The first is to inform
the People of
their own Constitutional prohibitions of
all the despotic diktats currently ruining
lives. Americans are respectful of the law,
and the only reason so many are caving to
the ruinous edicts issuing from state
governors is their mistaken belief that the
edicts are lawful. Once they know
differently, we will see a dramatic reversal
on that front.
The other answer is to shrink
all of America's Leviathans, thus
diminishing their ability to mount assaults
of this kind in the first place, no matter
the pretext. The "state" in all its forms
has become an object of worship in this
country over the last 80 years or so, and
has done so because it has, in all its
forms, become huge and ubiquitous.
Among much else, America's
Leviathan states have become able to put
fingers in every pie, and to field armies of
lawyers to overwhelm opposition when it
arises. They have become able to assert
control over the education of young
Americans such that opposition arises much
less often than it otherwise would, and
ought to.
The Leviathans have become able
to drown us all in endless "public service
announcements" on TV and radio selling the
Kool-Aid and suppressing opposition to the
coup. These folks shouldn't be able to
scrape together enough to mount a
leafletting campaign from what is left after
the expenditures their actual governmental
duties require, but instead they are awash
in wealth and influence.
We facilitate all of that power
at our peril, as is now more clearly shown
than ever before.
So, DEFUND THE LEVIATHANS!
Don't just close your
eyes and dreamily smile at the thought. Get
up and make it happen.
Spread the knowledge you
already have about the true nature of the
income tax (which restrains state
governments just as it does the federal
government). The simplest way to do this is
to share
this little document with everyone you
can, in every way that you can.
I HAVE DONE MY BEST to lead this country
to liberty from the mis-applied income tax. I have labored
hard. I've shed a lot of sweat, a fair bit of blood
and more than a few tears. But I seem to be pretty poor
at that kind of work.
When I have asked all of you for what I
firmly believe is a necessary resource to move the ball
downfield and give all of us the best chance at justice
and an end to the assault on the rule of law-- simple
testimonial videos requiring nothing from any of you
but the phone in your pocket and three minutes of speaking
from the heart-- I have had only a handful of people
answer my call.
I CAN'T KEEP GOING THIS WAY. I have to
be able to turn my attention away from writing new persuasive
or skepticism-addressing articles week after week, and
toward research, analysis and educational presentations
that will benefit everyone already in this community.
I need time to do some suing, and to bring together
the resources and talent toward that end.
As said, it is my firm belief that your
testimonial videos are the resource that I need to make
big things happen, and they are unquestionably the thing
I need to allow me to turn my attention away from trying
to get horses to drink at the waterhole to which I have
led them. Your words, in your great numbers and all
in your own different ways, will do that better than
anything I write possibly could.
And yet, you are not providing them. This,
despite my having been asking you for them for many
years now.
Therefore, with enormous reluctance, I
am making portions of this website restricted access
only. People have been urging me to do this for years
now, telling me I should impose a charge to access my
work-product, so as to enable me to keep producing.
I have never been inclined to charge fees
for access. I ask for donations, and will continue to
do that, and if they do not come, then I will conclude
that my work is of no value to anyone, and I will close
shop.
But I now WILL charge a special
something for access to some key portions of that
work.
Opening selected pages on
LHC comprising higher level legal
resources now requires the submission of qualifying testimonial
videos, as discussed, described and demonstrated
here.
The videos must be accompanied by scans of a recent
educated filing along with responsive documents from
the IRS, whether in the form of a check, a notice
identifying and reflecting the filed return, or
"return" and "account" transcripts for the year for
which the return was filed. Names must be shown in
full.
Similarly, if
an email comes my way asking for guidance or assistance,
I had better already have your video posted.
I HATE TO PLAY IT THIS WAY. But I want
to win.
I'll tell you a story from when I was coaching
my kids in soccer. Both of my kids at a certain age
in their careers had run into a wall common to all but
the very exceptional. They had gotten to be pretty good,
and they wanted to enjoy the benefits of their hard
work. But the arrival of this interest coincided with
a new self-consciousness which made them reluctant to
risk failing and looking foolish. So, they were hanging
back from seizing the main chance when it appeared,
and driving for the goal.
My solution was to post on the wall of
our dining room a couple of simple points about self-discipline,
the chief of which is this: You can't score a goal if
you don't take a shot.
That's how it is here, too. If you don't
stand up, you are laying down, and you'll never score
that goal.
Here is what my kids live by now, in their
own version of that lesson. I hear it from them all
the time as they excel (accompanied by the sound of
a father's breast swelling with pride): Go hard,
or go home.
You, too. Go hard, or go home.
Send those videos.
Do I ask for a lot? I want your victories
to post, your financial support, your efforts at spreading
the word, and your beautiful faces and inspiring words,
too. It IS a lot.
But it's not too much. I'll let Thomas Paine explain:
"Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered;
yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder
the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we
obtain too cheaply, we esteem too lightly. Heaven knows
how to put a proper price on its goods; and it would
be strange indeed, if so celestial an article as freedom
should not be highly rated.”
We each have our reasons, and our story.
It's time, and it's needed, for you to share yours with
the world.
P.S. READ EVERYTHING THAT
FOLLOWS, CAREFULLY AND THOROUGHLY!!
"The day we see truth and do not speak
is the day we begin to die."
-Martin Luther King, Jr.
What does it for you?
Is it simply because no moral and upstanding
person has any choice when it comes to telling the truth
over his or her signature, whether on tax forms or anywhere
else?
Is it recognition of the critical importance
of the rule of law, and the knowledge that if everybody
leaves its caretaking to someone else, it will soon
be lost to us completely?
Is it the money?
Maybe it's just simple respect for your
own rights as a human being, who is not and cannot be
not involuntarily subordinated to others?
Maybe it's just simple respect for your
general civic responsibility to be the grown-up and
enforce frugality and restraint on a big, powerful creature
of our own devising which otherwise is like a badly-raised
teenage boy given whiskey and car keys and let loose
on the road to wreak havoc?
Or is it, perhaps, a more acute anxiety
that if our bonfire of a state isn't damped, and quickly,
it'll soon burn down the house around us all?
What IS it that firms up your jaw and stiffens
your resolve?
It's time to take off the bushel and
share your light!
I would like you to think about what it
is that motivates you for a few moments (or all day,
if you like), and then send me your thoughts. I want
to put YOUR reasons to work inspiring folks who don't
yet understand what this is all about.
In this day and age, the most effective
way for you to share your thinking for the benefit of
others is to video-record yourself talking about how
you feel, and explaining what inspires and motivates
YOU.
All you need is a webcam or cell-phone
equipped with a camera. If you don't have, or know how
to use, one of these, have a friend help. (And if
you use a cell-phone, please have the orientation
horizontal, not vertical-- that is, so that the
screen of the phone on which you are watching
yourself while taping looks like a TV or movie
screen.)
If needed, write a little script for yourself.
Better, though, to just speak extemporaneously, after
spending a little time sorting out your thoughts and
getting down into your heart. Perhaps make it a video
of someone in your family, or a close friend, interviewing
you.
Dress "business casual". Be well-groomed.
Keep yourself to no more than 2 or 3 minutes,
and keep in mind that the purpose is
not to educate,
but to INSPIRE, ENCOURAGE and ENERGIZE. Your video will
be one of many to be shared. If you need to go
longer to really say your piece, go for it (but long
or short I may edit if something strikes me as
wandering or off-key or unacceptable).
You needn't feel any obligation to be profound,
and you shouldn't try to explain anything about the
law, other than to say that you have read it and you
know it's on your side. You just need to be sincere,
and uplifting. Your object is to make your audience
want to have what you have, and to be where you are
in your heart.
Don't talk to ME, or to others in the
CtC-educated community. Make remarks that are suited
to the NON-CtC-educated community, and at the same
time, be mindful that you're speaking to an
audience that doesn't yet know ANYTHING about the subject,
and whose first reaction is, "This must be illegal;
this must be dangerous; this is too good to be true."
You want to pull that audience right past such things,
and straight to a focus on truth, morality, and our
American heritage of liberty and the rule of law.
Remember: INSPIRE, ENCOURAGE, ENERGIZE.
Speak about rights. Speak about morality,
and the obligation of a grown-up and responsible person
to speak the truth and to enforce the Constitution.
Speak about everyone's duty
to give to God what is God's, always, and to Caesar
only what is really Caesar's. Speak of your obligation
to respect yourself, and to look out for the current
and future well-being of your children and your fellow
citizens. Speak of
CtC, and what its information has done for your
understanding and resolve. Show the book.
If you have had victories, describe them.
Better still, show them, if possible.
Be clear about just what you accomplished:
EVERYTHING back-- Social Security, Medicare and all;
a "notice of deficiency" closing notice; an on-paper
agreement or acknowledgment that your earnings weren't
subject to the tax and everything withheld or paid-in
was an "overpayment"; a transcript showing all $0s;
or whatever happened.
When you speak of state victories, name
the state. If you had to overcome balkiness from a tax
agency before winning any victory, describe that, too!
If you're in a battle now, speak of your
resolve to uphold the law, come what may--
why you're not discouraged, and why you are not
standing down, not slinking back into the barn, and
not choosing to endorse the lies. Don't get
into details-- your audience is going to have no
idea what a "LTR3176" is, and you will NOT be
capable of explaining it adequately. This is an
subject area concerning which you should speak from
the heart, not the head.
If you haven't
yet begun to act, share the reasons for your decision to do so, and
your plans.
Remember, your purpose is to INSPIRE, ENCOURAGE
and ENERGIZE.
Watch your own video after you
record it and ask yourself: Putting yourself
in the place of someone completely immersed
in "the matrix"-- oblivious to any notions
that you might have been a victim of an
"ignorance tax", and comfortable with the
status quo-- would the video you just made
encourage you to push aside your comforting
illusions and learn the liberating truth? If
not, try again.
Identify yourself. Anonymity is for criminals and self-doubters, not
CtC
warriors. Naming yourself is a requirement, and your
name will appear as a subtitle on the video when I
prepare it for posting, in any event.
Mention what you do for a living, whether
you're a doctor, homemaker, lawyer, trucker, IT guy
or gal, retiree or student. Help people understand
that the company of grown-up activist Americans they
are being invited to join cuts across all demographics
and all interests-- with the common denominator being
respect for the law and love of the principles on which
this great country was founded.
This is your chance to get a LOT accomplished.
We've all had frustrating occasions of
trying to explain all this to a friend, neighbor, family
member or co-worker, only to pile up against the wall
of a mind not yet ready to listen and learn. Here is
your chance to address a self-selected audience of folks
who have themselves decided that it's time for them
to begin paying attention, and have clicked on your
testimonial for exactly that reason.
Further, think about this: You want judges,
bureaucrats, CPAs, lawyers, the HR people where you
work, your pastors, your neighbors and everyone else
to acknowledge the truth about the tax openly and straightforwardly.
How and why would these folks do this if YOU won't?
You want these folks to learn the truth.
Why would they even recognize that there is a truth
to be learned if you won't attest to having learned
it yourself? You've got to stand up, face forward and
chin up and tell these folks that you have studied and
checked and verified and seen the evidence and seen
the government evasions and you know that the tax is
not the capitation that the beneficiary government wants
everyone to think it is but a benign, strictly limited
thing, and that they need to study and learn that, too.
Again, if you have victories to show, that's
nice, and powerful, too. But you don't have to have
victories to display in order to declare your knowledge
of what the law says. I've never flown around the world,
but I've seen the evidence and considered the arguments,
and I'm not hesitant to declare it a sphere...
Even those of you who haven't yet studied
CtC have surely read
this short document, and have verified everything
in it for yourself. You should therefore be declaring
its veracity and its message, loud and proud. Again,
if you won't say it, how can you hope that others will
ever even bother to look at the facts?
Be the change you want to see in the world,
or there won't be any change.
So, please make and send those videos
right away! You can share them with me via a cloud-based
drive space like DropBox, OneDrive.Live.com or GoogleDrive
(if you do GoogleDrive you MUST give access permission to stategroups@losthorizons.com), or
mail DVDs to me at 232 Oriole St., Commerce Twp., Michigan
48382, or even email to me if each file is no more than
20 megs (and you can break a video up if need be-- I
can reassemble them). Render as .mpg or mp4, if possible;
if not, send them how you have them and I'll make them
work.
BTW: An encouraging and inspiring
video will earn you access to the restricted pages
on losthorizons.com and membership in the National
Forum if you have also sent me a recent educated
federal filing and IRS response (or relevant
"return" or "account" transcript). I will be the
judge of whether your submissions qualify
for access, but if you do your best you should do
fine.
Remember, the restoration of institutional
respect for individual rights and the rule of law depends
on enough individuals insisting upon it. Do your part
to let those starting to rub the sleep from their eyes
know that there is a community already waiting for their
fellowship with open arms and open hearts and shining
spirits.
See how some of your fellow warriors for
the truth have done their parts in videos sent over
the years, many of which are posted
here.

Getting Free Of The "Income" Tax Scheme Is As Easy As
Falling Off A Bike
To get an idea of how today's "income" tax scheme works,
try this little exercise:
Think of the federal government as a guy named Bob,
who lives down the street from you in a town that is
really big on bicycles. Bikes get used for commuting,
deliveries, shopping, etc.. In fact, other than walking,
bicycles are the exclusive form of transportation in
your town.
Your neighbor Bob has a by-the-mile bicycle-renting
business-- "Bob's Bicycles". Bob's Bicycles is far and
away the biggest business in town.
Part of Bob’s success is because he does a lot of contract
business. However, Bob doesn't just get paid by riders
who have signed an agreement with him, or even just
those using Bob's bikes. Bob gets something every time
anybody in town does any riding at all, through an odd
combination of circumstances that took many years to
come together.
Here's how it happened...
Bob's Bicycles was launched long ago by the great grandfather
of the present Bob (Bob IV). Great Grandpa Bob started
out not only with a main location for his contract business--
he also had the bright idea of setting up spots around
town where he parked some of his bikes for use by the
more occasional rider, on an "honor system". Anyone
could take and use one of these bikes, but they were
expected to keep track of their mileage, and send Bob
a "1040 Mileage Ridden/Rent Due Form" (and the appropriate
rent), periodically. The initial design of the form
was like this:
I, ______________,
rode a Bob's Bicycle a total of _____ miles
this year.
At Bob's rental
rate of $.15 per mile, I owe Bob $______
I said that Great Grandpa Bob planned to deal with these
occasional riders on the "honor system", and that's
true. But he liked his money, too, and didn't want to
miss anything that was due him. So, after setting up
the "self-serve" locations, Great Grandpa Bob went around
handing out "W-2, 1099 or K-1 Rider Reporting Forms"
to every other business in town. The forms-- accompanied
by notices that if Bob didn't get his rent from someone
riding a bicycle in connection with any business, he
would sue the company involved-- said:
You Can’t Fight Well When You Don’t Know
What You’re Fighting About
If you are having an argument
with the IRS or any other tax agency,
You are NOT being presumed to have made “corporate
profit”.
You are NOT being alleged to have received “foreign
income”.
You are NOT entangled in an invisible “adhesion
contract”.
You are NOT being obligated by a law whose subject
is never identified.
You are being targeted because REAL EVIDENCE exists
that YOU PERSONALLY HAD “INCOME” to which the revenue laws apply--
even though that evidence is almost certainly incorrect,
and CAN be corrected.

Doing A Little High-Payoff Math
IF EACH PERSON receiving this newsletter each week distributed as
few as 100 of any of
the great outreach tools featured here to co-workers, friends,
neighbors and family members (or just strangers on the street, in
the mall, etc...), we could have SEVERAL MILLION new Americans
suddenly introduced to the liberating truth about the tax!
Just like that! In one week!
C'mon, people, let's roll on this!
“Most of the important things in the
world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when
there seemed to be no hope at all.”
When directed to a page by topic or link, read everything.
I know that this can mean the investment of a lot of time, attention
and effort, but although some may imagine otherwise, I don't write
as much as I do because I can't think of any other way to spend
my time...
Furthermore, when you encounter a hyperlink within, or associated
with, the text you are reading, follow it!
It is pretty common these days for web-based material to be littered
with hyperlinks. Sometimes the purpose is to provide definitions
or examples, in order to ensure that folks reading the original
material aren't presented with a word or reference which they don't
understand. Sometimes the links lead to illustrations pertinent
to the original text.
It is common-- and perfectly understandable-- for folks who are
confident that they are familiar with language or references within
the main text they are reading to get in the habit of skipping over
included links. I do it all the time, myself!
However, I very rarely include links for definitional or explanatory
purposes; and when I DO make a link out of text in one page it is
generally to another self-contained page, rather than merely illustrative
material. These other pages contain material the clear understanding
of which I deem highly important for the proper and complete understanding
of the original page. (Links to
CtC, the
Victories pages,
CtC Warriors and so on are obvious exceptions to this general
rule. On the other hand, a link to the victory
Highlights or 'Every
Which Way But Loose' pages, which might seem like such exceptions,
are not. The special selection of victories on those pages, and
the filed docs and tax-agency correspondences included therewith,
themselves constitute highly instructive material which merits careful
attention. Thus care needs to be taken in all cases.)
Please make a habit of clicking on all provided links and at least
looking briefly to ensure that the linked page is one with which
you are completely familiar from another study session.
Finally, please keep in mind that, annoying though it may seem at
first blush (but not, I trust, upon reflection), I constantly tweak
material already posted. Obviously this doesn't mean that every
page is in flux at all times, but it does mean that if you are directed
to a page that IS familiar, it's worthwhile to read it through again
if it's been a while since your last having done so.
July 20- In 1903, Ford Motor Co. ships its first car. In 1945,
Congress ratifies the Bretton Woods agreement, making the U.S. dollar (still
redeemable on demand in gold for foreign holders at $35 to the ounce) the
reserve currency of the modern world. In 2003, two bombs explode outside a tax
office in Nice, France. In 2012, a gunman opens fire in a theater in Aurora,
Colorado during a showing of 'The Dark Knight Rises', killing 12 and injuring
58. The theater chosen was
the only one in the area with a posted policy prohibiting weapons, thereby
ensuring that unlike people in other theaters in the area, several of which were
closer to the gunman's home, and were showing the same film, the victims of the
attack would be unable to defend themselves. (The gunman entered through an
emergency exit, thus evading the detection of his weapons.) In 2015, The United
States abandoned its 50-year-long campaign to oust the government of Fidel
Castro from Cuba by embargo, a policy which trampled on the rights of Americans
and impoverished generations of Cubans, all for nothing (actually, not quite for
nothing-- the policy prevented the kind of engagement between Cubans and
Americans that would have prompted organic change within Cuba and almost
certainly helped perpetuate the Castro regime for many more years then it would
have otherwise lasted).
Anniversaries of interest for
each day of this week will be found throughout the newsletter mid-edition update
below.
Btw, a copy of
CtC from anywhere except the link above
may not be a current edition. CHECK. It
matters. Also, there ARE no e-book, Kindle
or .pdf versions of
CtC. Don't get taken in by efforts to
sell you-- or even give you for free-- any
such thing.

Illuminating anniversaries of this week:
July 21- In 1865, Wild Bill Hickock and Davis Tutt
inaugurate the "showdown". Hickock is the one that walks away. In
1925, John Scopes is found guilty in a Dayton, Tennessee courtroom of
teaching evolution, and is fined $100. In 1931, television begins
assaulting Americans on a seven-days-a-week schedule in New York City.
In 1954, Vietnam is partitioned into North and South by the Geneva
Accords. In 1969, Neil Armstrong takes "one small step". In 2005, four
terrorist bombings were allegedly attempted in the London subway system
two weeks after those discussed
here. No bombs actually went off... In 2011, the final Space
Shuttle flight landed.

A Wise Warrior With An
Uplifting Message
DODON LA VIGNE, a long-time warrior
and real American grown-up, shares a nice and inspiring
testimonial on what
CtC has done for him for over nine years now:

Illuminating anniversaries of this week:
July 22- In 1937, the Senate votes down
FDR's scheme to add more justices to the U.S. Supreme Court in order to start
getting favorable rulings on New Deal legislation after having his socialist
programs ruled unconstitutional over and over. (Roosevelt soon replaced enough
retiring justices with his own men to start getting more congenial readings of
the "living Constitution" anyway...) In 2011, a terrorist bombing of government
offices and shooting attack on schoolchildren is committed in Norway by a man
apparently filled with a mindless hatred of Muslims.
An old joke, but in regard to this deceiver,
not a laughing matter at all.

Illuminating anniversaries of this week:
July 23- In 2002, the Bloomberg
administration of New York City announces that it will not make public audio and

that Richard Nixon has no authority to withhold recordings of conversations in
the Oval Office in the face of a Congressional subpoena.
July 25- In 1861, the Union Congress
passes the Crittendon Resolution, admitting that the war against the seceding
Southern States was not being conducted to end slavery, but rather to forcibly
maintain an ongoing relationship that the North found beneficial and that the
South did not. In 1868, Wyoming is organized as a United States territory. In
1898, United States troops invade Puerto Rico. In 1920, the first transatlantic
two-way radio exchange takes place. In 1952, Puerto Rico adopts a United
States-approved "Constitution". In 1959, a hovercraft takes a trip over the
English Channel for the first time. In 2010, WikiLeaks publishes a huge batch
of documents revealing previously withheld information on United States military
activities in Afghanistan.
CtC WARRIOR SanDiegoScott has put together
