Join Me On The Power Hour With Daniel Brigman,
Wednesday, November 4 at 1PM EST!
We'll be talking about the C19 panic attack-- including its
relationship to the election...
ALTHOUGH I EXPECT "THE DAY AFTER" to be chaotic and anxious
(not least because it will NOT really be "the day after", thanks to
efforts by some to generate outcome uncertainty and the huge number of
ballots sent by mail or dropbox, the effect of which will not be
declared for some time), I hope you can carve out the hour to tune in. I
think it will be worth your while.
The truths and the lies involved in the COVID-19
coup are absolute must-knows for all Americans, and I'll do my best to
cover the ground in the time available. Daniel Brigman is an excellent
interviewer, and we should do well-- it might even be possible to get in
some of your questions, too (in anticipation of which, please closely
read the material here).
IN MID-FEBRUARY, 2014 the Obama administration fomented a
coup in Ukraine. The duly-elected government was overthrown and replaced
with one more to the liking of the neocon nutcases in charge of United
States foreign policy for the past several decades-- interestingly, a
new government of Ukrainian Nazis.
Shortly after the coup, in May of 2014, Burisma
Holdings, a Ukrainian energy company, gave then-Vice President Joe
Biden's son Hunter a $50,000+ per month position on its board (which
lasted until 2019). The younger Biden had no apparent qualifications,
and, in fact, never once visited Ukraine in connection with this
highly-paid office, but it could be said that he brought value,
You see, at the time of the Hunter Biden board
appointment, Burisma and its owner were on the radar-screen of Ukraine's
top prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, over various crimes and corruptions. Not
long after Hunter's very rewarding and otherwise effortless position at
Burisma was established, his father, Joe, forced Ukraine's new president
to fire Shokin by threatening to otherwise withhold $1 billion in
Congressionally-mandated loan guarantees.
"I looked at them and said: 'I’m leaving in six
hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the
money. Well, son of a bitch. He got fired."
Biden and his apologists have since floated the absurd
proposition that he had forced the firing of Shokin because the
prosecutor was "too soft on corruption"-- in particular, according to
the New York Times, his slow-walking of his investigation into
corruption by Burisma and its owner, Mykola Zlochevsky, or even keeping
that investigation on hold so that he could use the threat of it to
shake down Zlochevsky. But
according to the Times itself, "within 10 months after he took
office, Burisma announced that Mr. Lutsenko [Shokin's replacement] and
the courts had “fully closed” all “legal proceedings and pending
criminal allegations” against Mr. Zlochevsky and his companies."
It appears that things worked out well for the folks who
seem to have slipped a whole lot of money to Hunter Biden for doing
SO, THAT'S A BIT OF BACKSTORY to the current controversy
over allegations of corruption concerning Joe Biden. More recently, the
contents of a laptop apparently owned and/or operated by Hunter Biden,
and in the possession of the FBI since December, 2019, have recently
been made public. Those contents dramatically support and emphasize the
proposition of the corrupt influence-peddling described above, and much,
You may not have heard about any of that, however. The
mainstream conventional media and "social media" gatekeepers have
monolithically, in the fashion of conspirators and racketeers, been
doing everything possible to keep these revelations from public view and
to detoxify with false representations those that make it through that
firewall, and that takes us to the focus of this article.
One of the most remarkable examples of this corrupt effort
to shield Biden from the effect of these damning revelations (which
includes apparent evidence of Joe having a standing arrangement to get a
portion of payments made to Hunter for the purchase of access and favors
from the older man), involves The Intercept, an e-zine
co-founded by progressively-oriented but nonetheless consistently
outstanding and honorable journalist Glenn Greenwald. In an expression
of breathtaking corruption, The Intercept has refused to
publish Greenwald's own effort to shine a light on the media conspiracy
on Joe Biden's behalf.
Greenwald, in an equally breathtaking display of virtue and
integrity, has quit the filthy rag.
WELL DONE, GLENN!!!
BELOW, YOU WILL FIND the rejected draft of the article by
Greenwald on media corruption. It's a bit dated now as to the details of
the Biden revelations, which have been expanded and further supported
with witness testimony and evidence every day, but well worth the read
for its skewering of the media corruption at which Greenwald has really
directed his attention.
Afterwards, I suggest subscribing to Greenwald's new home
for posts (for the moment, anyway),
here. Greenwald IS a
progressive, and not all that he writes will be to everyone's taste. But
he is insightful, honest, and tenacious, and all of those qualities are
sadly rare in his line of work. Show the man some support and sign up

THE REAL SCANDAL: U.S. MEDIA USES
FALSEHOODS TO DEFEND JOE BIDEN FROM HUNTER’S EMAILS
One outcome is that the Biden campaign
concluded, rationally, that there is no need for the front-running
presidential candidate to address even the most basic and relevant
questions raised by these materials. Rather than condemn Biden for
ignoring these questions -- the natural instinct of a healthy press when
it comes to a presidential election -- journalists have instead led the
way in concocting excuses to justify his silence.
After the Post’s first article, both that
newspaper and other news outlets have published numerous other emails
and texts purportedly written to and from Hunter reflecting his efforts
to induce his father to take actions as Vice President beneficial to the
Ukrainian energy company Burisma, on whose board of directors Hunter sat
for a monthly payment of $50,000, as well as proposals for lucrative
business deals in China that traded on his influence with his father.
Individuals included in some of the email
confirmed the contents' authenticity. One of Hunter’s former
business partners, Tony Bubolinski, has stepped forward on the record to
confirm the authenticity of many of the emails and to insist that Hunter
along with Joe Biden's brother Jim were planning on including the former
Vice President in at least one deal in China. And GOP pollster Frank
Luntz, who appeared in one of the published email chains,
appeared to confirm the authenticity as well, though he
refused to answer follow-up questions about it.
Thus far, no proof has been offered by
Bubolinski that Biden ever consummated his participation in any of those
discussed deals. The Wall Street Journal
says that it found no corporate records reflecting that a deal was
finalized and that "text messages and emails related to the venture that
were provided to the Journal by Mr. Bobulinski, mainly from the spring
and summer of 2017, don’t show either Hunter Biden or James Biden
discussing a role for Joe Biden in the venture."
But nobody claimed that any such deals had been
consummated -- so the conclusion that one had not been does not negate
the story. Moreover, some texts and emails whose authenticity has not
been disputed state that Hunter was adamant that any discussions about
the involvement of the Vice President be held only verbally and never
put in writing.
Beyond that, the Journal's columnist Kimberly
reviewed a stash of documents and "found correspondence corroborates
and expands on emails recently published by the New York Post,"
including ones where Hunter was insisting that it was his connection to
his father that was the greatest asset sought by the Chinese
conglomerate with whom they were negotiating. The New York Times on
reached a similar conclusion: while no documents prove that such a
deal was consummated, "records produced by Mr. Bobulinski show that in
2017, Hunter Biden and James Biden were involved in negotiations about a
joint venture with a Chinese energy and finance company called CEFC
China Energy," and "make clear that Hunter Biden saw the family name as
a valuable asset, angrily citing his 'family’s brand' as a reason he is
valuable to the proposed venture."
These documents also demonstrate, reported the
Times, "that the countries that Hunter Biden, James Biden and their
associates planned to target for deals overlapped with nations where Joe
Biden had previously been involved as vice president." Strassel noted
that "a May 2017 'expectations' document shows Hunter receiving 20% of
the equity in the venture and holding another 10% for 'the big guy'—who
Mr. Bobulinski attests is Joe Biden." And the independent journalist
published an article on Sunday with ample documentation suggesting
that Biden's attempt to replace a Ukranian prosecutor in 2015 benefited
All of these new materials, the authenticity of
which has never been disputed by Hunter Biden or the Biden campaign,
raise important questions about whether the former Vice President and
current front-running presidential candidate was aware of efforts by his
son to peddle influence with the Vice President for profit, and also
whether the Vice President ever took actions in his official capacity
with the intention, at least in part, of benefitting his son's business
associates. But in the two weeks since the Post published its initial
story, a union of the nation's most powerful entities, including its
news media, have taken extraordinary steps to obscure and bury these
questions rather than try to provide answers to them.

Not Letting This "Crisis" Go To Waste...
...an important action item opportunity.
FRIENDS, THE SPORADIC BITS OF EASING of the despotic measures to
which most of the country has been subjected this year should not be
allowed to bleed off the head of steam you probably had been developing.
The offenses happened, and they're far from over. Stay hot.
And while you are all warmed up, and while others, if
they're smart, are just as hot, I'd like you to send an email (and
Facebook post, or whatever) with the following content to everyone you
can (with a request that they pass it along, in turn):
[Name], over the last several months you've
watched as over-fed state power has been used to literally destroy
classical Western civilization and impose a new despotic paradigm. No
dissent or debate permitted-- no permission or agreement sought.
YOU KNOW where this will end up if the arrogant
state power being used to make this happen isn't radically diminished in
size, influence, resources and popular support, and exposed as an
opportunistic exploiter of legal ignorance (an ignorance which it has
been nurturing in the average mind for decades).
Those things having not yet happened, you
should be quaking in your boots-- and you probably are.
Isn't it time-- and past time-- for you to
begin helping to make those desperately-needed defensive changes take
place? There is only one way these things can happen short of a
who-knows-what we'll-end-up-with explosion of violence. I'm going to
show it to you.
When you're done with that reading, you'll know
what to do next.
BTW, REMEMBER, ALSO, THAT EVERY AMERICAN has lately been given a stark lesson in the fact
that government officials at all levels will lie to you and violate the
law without batting an eye. They will do so any time it serves their agenda, and
you don't call them out for it.
If you know anyone who has been persisting in denial on the
truth about the income tax, you know such nonsense is usually be
grounded in some version or another of, "That can't be true..." or "They
would never do something like that...". Now's the time to put a pin in
that delusional bubble.
As the C19 hoax has starkly shown, "that" certainly CAN be true, and they
certainly WOULD do something

FOR ALL THE YEARS SINCE 2003 when
CtC was first published, the government has engaged in a
concerted effort to frighten people away from its truths. This
effort involves official government websites and press releases
touting an occasional court ruling that appears to be at odds

real substance of the ruling)--
and sometimes even more mendacious behavior.

everything they've been encouraged their whole lives to
believe about something as entrenched and significant as the
income tax is basically nonsense. So here's a way to help
cut through the resistance:
Ask your listener how he or she would react if
you were to show an announcement from the Commissioner of
Internal Revenue admitting that the tax doesn't apply to the
earnings of most Americans and is misapplied most of the
time because people don't understand how it works? Or how
about if you showed a ruling from the Supreme Court saying
Now you just have to explain that
you're going to show exactly those things-- but because
the state really doesn't want people to know this, these
things haven't been said quite as forthrightly as we would
all wish. It's going to take a bit more work to take these
admissions in than is sufficient for just reading a press
release. But it'll be worth the effort...

Republicans And Democrats Will Never Deliver
by Jo Jorgensen
The 2016 Republican presidential primary debates
revealed a sea change. From 2008 to 2012, then-congressman Ron Paul was
routinely booed for his criticism of America’s foreign policy. It was even
common to hear Republican office holders, commentators, and activists say they
“agreed with Ron Paul on everything but foreign policy.” Yet in 2016, candidate
Donald Trump was cheered for calling the Iraq war the biggest blunder in
One would have thought Trump’s victory would
have resulted in a major reduction of America’s military presence in the
Middle East and Afghanistan. However, three years and 10 months after
President Trump was sworn into office, at least 3,000 troops will remain
in Iraq at the end of the year if Trump’s troop reductions go into
effect. How many troops will remain in Afghanistan depends on how
successful the military-industrial complex, and their allies on Capitol
Hill and in the media, are at undermining Trump.
Meanwhile, the U.S. is still supporting Saudi
Arabia’s vicious war against Yemen, which has created a humanitarian
crisis. We still have approximately 700 troops in Syria. Trump kicked
off the new year by provoking hostility with Iran when he ordered the
assassination of Iranian leader Qassem Soleimani. He has poked at both
China and Russia.
How did a candidate who was elected in part on
a promise of no more useless, endless wars wind up keeping the warfare
machine humming along?
Partly because, even at his best, Trump is far
from being a consistent non-interventionist. Even as he railed against
the endless wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, candidate Trump rattled sabers
at Tehran by pledging to withdraw the U.S. from the Iran nuclear deal.
Trump also called for dramatically increasing
the military budget, repeating the lie that Obama had decimated the
military. But U.S. military spending has continually gone up, not down.
Trump has been more successful at stirring up
hostilities with Iran than at withdrawing from Afghanistan and Iraq. The
biggest reason his actions have not matched his campaign rhetoric is
that the entire foreign policy infrastructure in D.C. is controlled by
pro-war factions. Even a truly non-interventionist Republican or
Democrat would likely fail to roll back America’s military presence
The House versions of the fiscal year 2021
National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) contained provisions designed
to block Trump from fulfilling his promise to withdraw troops from
This provision was championed by Wyoming
Republican Representative Elizabeth Cheney, daughter of famed hawk and
former vice president Dick Cheney. Representative Cheney is not some
backbencher. She is the third-ranking Republican in the House. Cheney
was joined in supporting this amendment by Democratic Representative
Jason Crow of Colorado. The amendment easily passed the House Armed
Services Committee by a vote of 45-11. Only eight Republicans voted to
support their president’s efforts to end America’s endless war. Even
more discouraging, only two Republicans, Representative Thomas Massie of
Kentucky and Representative Mo Brooks of Alabama, voted for an amendment
to the NDAA offered on the House floor to establish a plan to end the
war in Afghanistan. Libertarian Representative Justin Amash also voted
for the amendment.
The Senate’s version of the NDAA warned against
a “precipitous” withdrawal from Afghanistan. It also expressed concerns
about closing any U.S. base located in Europe without offering an
alternative, thus putting a monkey wrench in President Trump’s attempt
to draw down the number of American troops in Germany.
Even worse, the Senate rejected an amendment by
Senator Rand Paul to withdraw troops from Afghanistan. Paul’s measure
failed by a vote of 60-33.
For all the often-justified handwringing over
how the Republican Party has become a “cult of Trump,” the sad truth is,
for most Republican representatives and senators, devotion to Trump
stops at the water’s edge.
JORGENSEN HAS THIS DOWN COLD-- the perverse incentive structure
that has been created in support of endless war-mongering, profits for the arms
industries and the expenditure of American blood and treasure on behalf of
foreign interests is well-rooted as an ancient oak tree and as aggressive as a
burrowing tick. (See more about
that perverse incentive structure here.)
No president from among the ranks of the mainstream parties
under whose care the structure has arisen is likely to dismantle the ugly
thing. Indeed, none even really ever means to do so, whatever his or her rhetoric while
campaigning either before or after taking office.
AT THE SAME TIME, Jorgensen left unaddressed yet another,
and arguably much more important aspect of the stranglehold of the
military-industrial-congressional-complex on US policy. That greater
danger is the hugely-increased risk of world-destroying nuclear war due
to the inevitable friction
with well-armed others generated by existing hegemonic behaviors and
internal pressures from within the complex for treating those others as
threats in order to justify yet more spending on arms.
There is only one promising political solution to the
massive immorality and impoverishment of US militarism, and that is
electing someone from outside the ranks of the compromised Democrats and
Republicans. Someone like Jorgensen...
Jorgensen won't win this year, of course. But every vote
for Jorgensen sends a serious message to the mainstream politicians and
their managers that the abandonment of militarism is becoming the path
to electoral success.
Even in the interim, while candidates from the two parties
continue to win office, the pressure of the message sent by every vote
for the non-interventionist candidate will push new administrations
toward more peaceful and prosperity-supporting policies.
IN THE MEANTIME, and even while the sclerotic, infected and
invested purveyors and beneficiaries of the status quo persist in power,
there remains the non-political solution to the despicable demonic
war-mongering. That solution, put in place by the Founders in
anticipation of just the sort of corruption that reigns today, is the
shrinking of Leviathan by the actions of virtuous individual Americans.
Implemented on a sufficient scale, that solution renders
Leviathan incapable of carrying out its crimes, whatever the continuing
venality of its officers.
EVEN AS ARDENT A STATIST as Abraham
Lincoln, in announcing his willingness to burn the Southern states to the ground in order to
keep them paying the tariff for the benefit of Northern interests in
his first inaugural address on March 4, 1861, paid at least lip
service to the Founders design of leaving control over the fuel
available to feed the fires Washington wants to light in the hands
of the individual citizenry when he said, "Doing this I deem to
be only a simple duty on my part; and I shall perform it, unless my
rightful masters, the American people, shall withhold the requisite
