A Few More Voices (Including An Appellate Court) Talking Sense About C19
...and exposing the crass and criminal political game-playing by
which this unremarkable virus is being used to destroy lives, liberty and the
rule of law.
ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 13, the
Edmonton, Alberta Community and Public
Services Committee held a "zoom" hearing
concerning, among other things, a proposed
extension of its existing "Temporary
Mandatory Face Coverings Bylaw". Many people
spoke in regard to the proposal; the words
of one unusually-qualified expert speaker,
Dr. Roger Hodkinson, merit particular
attention:

In his remarks, Hodkison refers
to "the Great Barrington Declaration". This
"Declaration" is a statement initially made
in Great Barrington, Massachusetts in early
October by Drs. Jay Bhattacharya, professor
at Stanford University Medical School, a
physician, epidemiologist, health economist,
and public health policy expert focusing on
infectious diseases and vulnerable
populations; Sunetra Gupta, professor at
Oxford University, an epidemiologist with
expertise in immunology, vaccine
development, and mathematical modeling of
infectious diseases; and Martin Kulldorff,
professor of medicine at Harvard University,
a biostatistician, and epidemiologist with
expertise in detecting and monitoring
infectious disease outbreaks and vaccine
safety evaluations.
Since its initial posting, the
Declaration-- which reflects the same
in-depth knowledgeable consideration of the
actual facts of C19 and the pernicious use
of induced public panic in response to the
virus by political and commercial interests
briefly presented by Dr. Hodkinson-- has
been endorsed (as of November 21, 2020) by
35,237 medical practitioners, 12,115 medical
and public health scientists, and 638,924
concerned citizens. Here is its text:
The Great
Barrington Declaration
As infectious
disease epidemiologists and public health
scientists we have grave concerns about the
damaging physical and mental health impacts
of the prevailing COVID-19 policies, and
recommend an approach we call Focused
Protection.
Coming from both
the left and right, and around the world, we
have devoted our careers to protecting
people. Current lockdown policies are
producing devastating effects on short and
long-term public health. The results (to
name a few) include lower childhood
vaccination rates, worsening cardiovascular
disease outcomes, fewer cancer screenings
and deteriorating mental health – leading to
greater excess mortality in years to come,
with the working class and younger members
of society carrying the heaviest burden.
Keeping students out of school is a grave
injustice.
Keeping these
measures in place until a vaccine is
available will cause irreparable damage,
with the underprivileged disproportionately
harmed.
Fortunately, our
understanding of the virus is growing. We
know that vulnerability to death from
COVID-19 is more than a thousand-fold higher
in the old and infirm than the young.
Indeed, for children, COVID-19 is less
dangerous than many other harms, including
influenza.
As immunity builds
in the population, the risk of infection to
all – including the vulnerable – falls. We
know that all populations will eventually
reach herd immunity – i.e. the point at
which the rate of new infections is stable –
and that this can be assisted by (but is not
dependent upon) a vaccine. Our goal should
therefore be to minimize mortality and
social harm until we reach herd immunity.
The most
compassionate approach that balances the
risks and benefits of reaching herd
immunity, is to allow those who are at
minimal risk of death to live their lives
normally to build up immunity to the virus
through natural infection, while better
protecting those who are at highest risk. We
call this Focused Protection.
Adopting measures
to protect the vulnerable should be the
central aim of public health responses to
COVID-19. By way of example, nursing homes
should use staff with acquired immunity and
perform frequent PCR testing of other staff
and all visitors. Staff rotation should be
minimized. Retired people living at home
should have groceries and other essentials
delivered to their home. When possible, they
should meet family members outside rather
than inside. A comprehensive and detailed
list of measures, including approaches to
multi-generational households, can be
implemented, and is well within the scope
and capability of public health
professionals.
Those who are not
vulnerable should immediately be allowed to
resume life as normal. Simple hygiene
measures, such as hand washing and staying
home when sick should be practiced by
everyone to reduce the herd immunity
threshold. Schools and universities should
be open for in-person teaching.
Extracurricular activities, such as sports,
should be resumed. Young low-risk adults
should work normally, rather than from home.
Restaurants and other businesses should
open. Arts, music, sport and other cultural
activities should resume. People who are
more at risk may participate if they wish,
while society as a whole enjoys the
protection conferred upon the vulnerable by
those who have built up herd immunity.
I encourage everyone to sign the Declaration
(which
you can do here) and to forward this
article as widely as possible so many, many
more can do the same, upping its
throw-weight.
All the "lockdown" and related policies
which the declarants denounce and reject are
illegal, of course-- at least here in the
USA. (See

here.) So, in theory, the Great
Barrington Declaration is perhaps
superfluous, however admirable.
But when people are afraid, respect for the
law erodes. What is necessary is to show
people that they needn't be afraid.
BTW,
AN INDEPENDENTLY-VIRTUOUS background
presentation by Dr. Jay Bhattacharya can be

here, and is also highly recommended. My
only caveat with this latter recommendation
concerns Dr. Bhattacharya's unfortunate use
of the wrong starting point (March of 2020)
for his analysis of an accurate case
fatality rate (CFR), which skews his CFR
conclusions upward considerably higher than
they should be.
In fact, C19 infections numbered in the
millions in America well before March. Using
CDC plotting metrics, the number of
infections in America that ran their entire
course from start to finish before March was
between 36 and 51 million, producing a total
of only 108 fatalities (previously 97, but
adjusted upward recently by the CDC through
retroactive ascription of C19 as a cause of
death in 11 additional cases).

Ironically, my first awareness of Dr.
Bhattacharya came in April when I was
looking for confirmation of my arguments
regarding the far-more widespread incidence
of infection-- and the implications of
same-- than was being accounted-for by
policy-makers. I was very pleased to find
Bhattacharya's independent investigation of
C19 infections in Santa Clara County,
California (through
the mention of it in this similar report
regarding Los Angeles County), where he
and his team discovered that contra the
1,000 such infections reported by county
authorities, there were actually 50,000 such
infections or more at the time.
In light of the omitted consideration from
Dr. Bhattacharya's analysis, it can be seen
that the actual CFR average is much less
that the 0.2 on which he settles. Further,
in light of the fact that even the vast
majority of fatalities in the elderly which
are ascribed (however casually) to C19
actually occur in victims of multiple
co-morbidities-- that is, dire and
potentially-fatal prior-existing
conditions-- Bhattacharya's characterization
of C19's threat to seniors as being
dramatically more dire than the typical
seasonal flu is also a considerable
overstatement.
Nonetheless, Dr. Bhattacharya's overall
discussion of C19 and the wrong-headed (if
not deliberately-bent) public policies
deployed in response to it is very
well-taken and very much worth reading.

THANKSGIVING DAY IS ONE OF MY
FAVORITE special days of the year, and not
because of the great food. The real virtues
of this unique American celebration lie in
the lessons in humility and maturity offered
by its history.
The virtuous lessons to which I
refer are offered only by Thanksgiving's
true history, however. That true history is
the exact opposite of the bogus, "Thank God
(sorry... politically incorrect... make
that, "Thank Fortuitous Random Chance") we
were saved from starvation by the generosity
of our neighbors-- see how wonderful
socialism can be!" nonsense which too many
Americans have been misled into imagining to
be the truth.
In fact, the feast we
commemorate on the fourth Thursday of
November had nothing whatsoever to do with
"generosity". What we actually commemorate
on Thanksgiving is the Plymouth Rock
colonists' recognition of the evils of
socialism and the goodness of Adam Smith's
"invisible hand" of profit-motivation
unleashed by security in property rights.
It was that 11th-hour epiphany
after a disastrous experiment with
communitarian soulfulness that saved the
colony from starvation. Thanks be to God,
indeed, for that merciful and timely grant
of wisdom.
IN VERY BRIEF SUMMARY, the
Plymouth Rock colony began as a commune,
organized under the principle that the
proceeds of every individual's labors would
be claimed of right by the community as a
whole, and then redistributed in equal
measure to every member. This system lasted
for several years, during which the colony
grew ever more hungry and impoverished.
Unable to keep the fruit of
their labors for themselves, and with the
unproductive receiving the same out of the
communal resources as those who worked hard,
soon no one worked hard. To do so was a
fool's game.
The only competition
un-smothered by the communitarian rule was
the race to the bottom in the avoidance of
labor. Every year the crops were thinner;
every year the shares distributed to each
colonist were more meager.
Finally, in 1623 and on the
verge of the colony's failure (that is, the
death of all the colonists), the feel-good
socialist lunacy was recognized as the
deadly mental virus that it is. The ruinous pretense that the community had
a rightful claim on the food produced by
each member was abandoned, and the
colonist's rights to their own production
was secured.
As it was recounted (in
third-person format) in 1623 by William
Bradford, Governor of the Colony:
...so they began to think how
they might raise as much corn as they could,
and obtain a better crop than they had done,
that they might not still thus languish in
misery.
At length, after much debate
of things, the Governor (with the advice of
the chiefest amongst them) gave way that
they should set corn every man for his own
particular, and in that regard trust to
themselves; in all other things to go on in
the general way as before. And so assigned
to every family a parcel of land, according
to the proportion of their number, for that
end, only for present use (but made no
division for inheritance) and ranged all
boys and youth under some family.
This had very good success,
for it made all hands very industrious, so
as much more corn was planted than otherwise
would have been by any means the Governor or
any other could use, and saved him a great
deal of trouble, and gave far better
content. The women now went willingly into
the field, and took their little ones with
them to set corn; which before would allege
weakness and inability; whom to have
compelled would have been thought great
tyranny and oppression.
Thus, the deadly madness of
socialism was replaced with a pragmatic
expression of two natural laws: 1.
no person (and no group of persons, acting
under whatever title or label or pretense it
may) can rightfully dictate the disposal of
the product of another's labor; and 2.
no society can
violate a natural law without suffering the
harmful consequences. It was only then that
the colony had its first bountiful harvest,
for which the members properly gave thanks.
IT IS THE BENEFICIAL
CONSEQUENCE of the Plymouth Rock Colony's
epiphany concerning the destructive follies
of socialism and the rewarding virtues of
natural law that we have celebrated on
Thanksgiving over the years. Here is William
Bradford again, expressing the lesson taken
by these ancestors of the American
revolutionaries of a century-and-a-half
hence:
The experience that was had
in this common course and condition, tried
sundry years and that amongst godly and
sober men, may well evince the vanity of
that conceit of Plato's and other ancients
applauded by some of later times; that the
taking away of property and bringing in
community into a commonwealth would make
them happy and flourishing; as if they were
wiser than God.
Needless to say, the experience
of the Plymouth Rock Colony was firmly in
the American memory at the time that our
founding principles were spelled out. It is
unsurprising that the colonists' hard-won
wisdom deeply informs the Declaration of
Independence, the principles enshrined in
which are declared to be the Laws of Nature
and of Nature's God.
THE VIRTUOUS LESSONS LEARNED by
the Plymouth Rock Colony's near-disastrous
experiment with a fancied and prideful
"alternative" to the basic reality of
natural law is well-worth the giving of
thanks. So is the wisdom of our Founders in
taking those lessons to heart and hardwiring
them into our American legal structure.
With these things firmly in
mind as the real reasons for celebration, I
wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving. I hope
that it finds you all well, and leaves you
all comfortably stuffed with the good food
and good cheer for which this holiday is
casually and warmly known.
But I also hope that you all
dwell for a few minutes on the more sober
aspects of this commemoration. I especially
hope you see to it that your children
understand the truth (rather than the warm
fuzzy fictions that they have been taught in
their government schools and through the
mindless popular culture).
The real lessons of
Thanksgiving are very important
lessons. Our societal well-being depends on
those lessons remaining embedded in our
American consciousness and institutions.
It has been famously and wisely
observed that those who allow themselves to
be ignorant of history lessons are doomed to
repeat them, and we don't want our children
or grandchildren to have to repeat this one.
The good Lord might not be so forgiving of
their arrogance the second time around.

your friends and family with you as
possible. Hug them all fiercely and kiss
everyone you love. Crowd closely around a
groaning table and make it a real feast.

harboring anger at those who would steal

"social distancing" directives and the like,
but relish every bite and every conversation

to your own values.
THIS VIDEO PROJECTS THE PROGRESS of a nuclear exchange between Russia and

criticisms are, first of all, that it fails to
account for the imbalance that will now be present
in any such exchange due to

for China's contribution to the exchange against the

Six Factors Which Point To A Rigged Election
The mainstream media are quick
to call the claim "baseless", but there's
plenty of evidence for anyone willing to see
it.

The US Election is still a
burning issue almost two weeks after the people went
to the polls, and though the race has been called
for Biden by every mainstream media outlet in the
world, the recounts are ongoing and irregularities
manifest.
Trump’s legal team,
and many in the alternate media, are
claiming the election was rigged. With one
voice the mainstream media – and the entire
political establishment – denounce these
claims as “baseless”, and scream there is
“no evidence”.
This is incorrect.
There is plenty of evidence, both
circumstantial and direct, which breaks down
into six basic categories:
Precedent – It
has happened before.
Motive – Deep
State/Military dislike of Trump’s
policies is widely known.
Foreknowledge –
Establishment voices predicted this
exact situation.
Opportunity –
The voting system is highly susceptible
to fraud.
Voting
Irregularities – Known software
“glitches” & irregularities in the
reporting of the results.
Cover-up –
Dishonesty in the reporting of the
situation.
1. PRECEDENT
There is
plenty of evidence that US elections have
been rigged before.
Nobody is talking
about it much, but US elections have been
rigged before. Everyone is more than
familiar with the 2000 election, which was
called for Al Gore before Florida flipped to
Bush and swung the election. The controversy
over “hanging chads” and misplaced votes was
all people talked about for weeks.
One
noteworthy “error” with electronic
voting machines, switched over 10000 votes
from Gore to an obscure third-party
candidate.
After weeks of
legal battles, Gore eventually conceded.
Within a year the “attacks” of 9/11 had
happened, and the US was at war in
Afghanistan and planning
six more wars within 3 years.
More recently, it
was revealed the DNC had gone out of its way
to
hand Hillary the presidential nomination
over Sanders in 2016. Then in the 2020
primaries, despite embarrassingly lopsided
losses in the first few primaries, Biden’s
presidential campaign had a “miraculous
turnaround”, thanks largely to
irregularities in postal ballots in
Ohio,
Wisconsin and
New Jersey.
I LIKE KIT KNIGHTLY'S NUANCED take on
the unmistakable election fraud that took place
November 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 (and is ongoing in various
"certification" activities). Knightly avoids the
common "party politics" reflex of assuming that the
fraud originates with the Democrats per se.
Instead, Knightly suggests that
the coup attempt is a non-partisan Deep
State, Military-Industrial Complex affair
(perhaps by "Operation
Mockingbird"-style media manipulation--
see this observation--
and behind-the-scenes voting machine
gimmickry--
see this),
with Joe Biden being the beneficiary only
because he's the more reliable tool for that
cabal's purposes. Knightly's first
evidentiary link concerns a vote flip on
behalf of George W. Bush against Al Gore,
with the winning Bush quickly initiating
multiple military adventures. This was not a
Republican versus Democrat event. It was a
backroom selection of whichever political
hack seemed most likely to best serve that
backroom.
On this subject of the
real players in the game, it must be said
that even the American "Deep State" might have its own puppet-masters. The
abiding interest in active US militarism
persistently focuses on the Middle East,
despite America having had virtually no
national interests in the area since
becoming energy-independent long ago.
Even the resurgent
saber-rattling toward Russia in recent years
can credibly be viewed as not only a
necessary bit of theater in maintaining the
pretense that Trump's defeat of the odious
Hillary Clinton wasn't on the relative
merits, but also very much a reaction to its
engagement in the Middle East on behalf of
its long-time ally, Syria. That robust and
successful Russian engagement is very
inconvenient to those wanting Syria
destabilized (or subordinated as Iraq has
been) in order to hamper or end its support
for Hezbollah (and the practical ability of
Iran to support Hezbollah), which is the
organization thwarting
long-standing Israeli ambitions for seizing
the water resources of southern Lebanon.
Donald Trump had been a
malleable tool to these purposes for quite a
while (and had done, or permitted, much evil,
especially to the Palestinians and
Iranians). But lately-- especially over the
last year or so-- he has proven to be
resistant to starting new wars or even
continuing old ones, resuming positions on
which he had campaigned in the first place.
Joe Biden has exhibited no such
scruples. Indeed, Biden is already
surrounding himself as quickly as he can
with recycled, rabid Bush and Obama
administration foreign-policy hawks (which
is to say, war-mongering tools of the MIC).
REGARDLESS OF WHO IS
RESPONSIBLE AND WHY, the fact is that a coup
by way of an election fraud meant to thwart
the will of the American people is plainly
underway. Kit Knightly's piece is a week
old. In the intervening seven days much
direct evidence has accumulated to support
his mostly circumstantial observations. See,

A good deal of additional analysis by
statisticians of vote total reports
throughout the evening of the election and
subsequent several days, and as reported as
final tallies by the jurisdictions involved
is now being done. Early results promise
more compelling insights into the manner and
extent of apparently software-generated
vote-flipping by the voting and tabulating
machines used in many precincts, counties
and states.
BTW, none of the foregoing is
to say that individual Democratic Party
operatives (and grass-roots members) did not
play ardent roles in the overall effort to
fraudulently put Joe Biden over the top. The
votes by the dead, double-voting, and the
similar crimes committed in counting centers
in Democratic strongholds were not Deep
State crimes (save only to the extent that
the abandonment of morality required may
have been encouraged by Deep State-generated
propaganda).
And while I'm in a "BTW" mode,
let me say again, as I have felt obliged to say many
times now in addressing these
election-integrity issues: I am no fan
of Donald Trump. See

here. Nothing said here about the
election should be taken as inspired or
tainted by any partisanship.
What is said here is inspired
by a love for the truth and the rule of law,
in the light of which I cannot allow either Joe
Biden's team or a Deep State/MIC cabal-- or
those behind them-- to dictate the
outcome of any election. I hope you feel the
same, and if so, I hope you will join me in
fighting this, tooth and nail.
AT THE SAME TIME, whether Trump
gets the second term he appears to have
fairly won, or Joe Biden is installed as
president, Americans need to defend
themselves against either one, and against
the Deep State and the MIC, as well.
Happily, doing so is simple and easy. It just requires
behaving like a grown-up and using the
Leviathan-shrinking solution put in place
by America's Founders in anticipation of
just the sort of corruption that reigns
today.
Implemented on a sufficient
scale, that solution shrinks the state and renders
those in control of the gnarly thing incapable of
doing great harm, regardless of the
weaknesses of the political class.

I HAVE DONE MY BEST to lead this country
to liberty from the mis-applied income tax. I have labored

I'll tell you a story from when I was coaching
my kids in soccer. Both of my kids at a certain age
in their careers had run into a wall common to all but
the very exceptional. They had gotten to be pretty good,
and they wanted to enjoy the benefits of their hard
work. But the arrival of this interest coincided with
a new self-consciousness which made them reluctant to
risk failing and looking foolish. So, they were hanging
back from seizing the main chance when it appeared,
and driving for the goal.
My solution was to post on the wall of
our dining room a couple of simple points about self-discipline,
the chief of which is this: You can't score a goal if
you don't take a shot.
That's how it is here, too. If you don't
stand up, you are laying down, and you'll never score
that goal.
Here is what my kids live by now, in their
own version of that lesson. I hear it from them all
the time as they excel (accompanied by the sound of
a father's breast swelling with pride): Go hard,
or go home.
You, too. Go hard, or go home.
Send those videos.
Do I ask for a lot? I want your victories
to post, your financial support, your efforts at spreading
the word, and your beautiful faces and inspiring words,
too. It IS a lot.
But it's not too much. I'll let Thomas Paine explain:
"Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered;
yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder
the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we
obtain too cheaply, we esteem too lightly. Heaven knows
how to put a proper price on its goods; and it would
be strange indeed, if so celestial an article as freedom
should not be highly rated.”
We each have our reasons, and our story.
It's time, and it's needed, for you to share yours with
the world.

What does it for you?
Is it simply because no moral and upstanding
person has any choice when it comes to telling the truth
over his or her signature, whether on tax forms or anywhere
else?
Is it recognition of the critical importance
of the rule of law, and the knowledge that if everybody
leaves its caretaking to someone else, it will soon
be lost to us completely?
Is it the money?
Maybe it's just simple respect for your
own rights as a human being, who is not and cannot be
not involuntarily subordinated to others?
Maybe it's just simple respect for your
general civic responsibility to be the grown-up and
enforce frugality and restraint on a big, powerful creature
of our own devising which otherwise is like a badly-raised
teenage boy given whiskey and car keys and let loose
on the road to wreak havoc?
Or is it, perhaps, a more acute anxiety
that if our bonfire of a state isn't damped, and quickly,
it'll soon burn down the house around us all?
What IS it that firms up your jaw and stiffens
your resolve?
It's time to take off the bushel and
share your light!
I would like you to think about what it
is that motivates you for a few moments (or all day,
if you like), and then send me your thoughts. I want
to put YOUR reasons to work inspiring folks who don't
yet understand what this is all about.
In this day and age, the most effective
way for you to share your thinking for the benefit of
others is to video-record yourself talking about how
you feel, and explaining what inspires and motivates
YOU.
All you need is a webcam or cell-phone
equipped with a camera. If you don't have, or know how
to use, one of these, have a friend help. (And if
you use a cell-phone, please have the orientation
horizontal, not vertical-- that is, so that the
screen of the phone on which you are watching
yourself while taping looks like a TV or movie
screen.)
If needed, write a little script for yourself.
Better, though, to just speak extemporaneously, after
spending a little time sorting out your thoughts and
getting down into your heart. Perhaps make it a video
of someone in your family, or a close friend, interviewing
you.
Dress "business casual". Be well-groomed.
Keep yourself to no more than 2 or 3 minutes,
and keep in mind that the purpose is
not to educate,
but to INSPIRE, ENCOURAGE and ENERGIZE. Your video will
be one of many to be shared. If you need to go
longer to really say your piece, go for it (but long
or short I may edit if something strikes me as
wandering or off-key or unacceptable).
You needn't feel any obligation to be profound,
and you shouldn't try to explain anything about the
law, other than to say that you have read it and you
know it's on your side. You just need to be sincere,
and uplifting. Your object is to make your audience
want to have what you have, and to be where you are
in your heart.
Don't talk to ME, or to others in the
CtC-educated community. Make remarks that are suited
to the NON-CtC-educated community, and at the same
time, be mindful that you're speaking to an
audience that doesn't yet know ANYTHING about the subject,
and whose first reaction is, "This must be illegal;
this must be dangerous; this is too good to be true."
You want to pull that audience right past such things,
and straight to a focus on truth, morality, and our
American heritage of liberty and the rule of law.
Remember: INSPIRE, ENCOURAGE, ENERGIZE.
Speak about rights. Speak about morality,
and the obligation of a grown-up and responsible person
to speak the truth and to enforce the Constitution.
Speak about everyone's duty
to give to God what is God's, always, and to Caesar
only what is really Caesar's. Speak of your obligation
to respect yourself, and to look out for the current
and future well-being of your children and your fellow
citizens. Speak of
CtC, and what its information has done for your
understanding and resolve. Show the book.
If you have had victories, describe them.
Better still, show them, if possible.
Be clear about just what you accomplished:
EVERYTHING back-- Social Security, Medicare and all;
a "notice of deficiency" closing notice; an on-paper
agreement or acknowledgment that your earnings weren't
subject to the tax and everything withheld or paid-in
was an "overpayment"; a transcript showing all $0s;
or whatever happened.
When you speak of state victories, name
the state. If you had to overcome balkiness from a tax
agency before winning any victory, describe that, too!
If you're in a battle now, speak of your
resolve to uphold the law, come what may--
why you're not discouraged, and why you are not
standing down, not slinking back into the barn, and
not choosing to endorse the lies. Don't get
into details-- your audience is going to have no
idea what a "LTR3176" is, and you will NOT be
capable of explaining it adequately. This is an
subject area concerning which you should speak from
the heart, not the head.
If you haven't
yet begun to act, share the reasons for your decision to do so, and
your plans.
Remember, your purpose is to INSPIRE, ENCOURAGE
and ENERGIZE.
Watch your own video after you
record it and ask yourself: Putting yourself
in the place of someone completely immersed
in "the matrix"-- oblivious to any notions
that you might have been a victim of an
"ignorance tax", and comfortable with the
status quo-- would the video you just made
encourage you to push aside your comforting
illusions and learn the liberating truth? If
not, try again.
Identify yourself. Anonymity is for criminals and self-doubters, not
CtC
warriors. Naming yourself is a requirement, and your
name will appear as a subtitle on the video when I
prepare it for posting, in any event.
Mention what you do for a living, whether
you're a doctor, homemaker, lawyer, trucker, IT guy
or gal, retiree or student. Help people understand
that the company of grown-up activist Americans they
are being invited to join cuts across all demographics
and all interests-- with the common denominator being
respect for the law and love of the principles on which
this great country was founded.
This is your chance to get a LOT accomplished.
We've all had frustrating occasions of
trying to explain all this to a friend, neighbor, family
member or co-worker, only to pile up against the wall
of a mind not yet ready to listen and learn. Here is
your chance to address a self-selected audience of folks
who have themselves decided that it's time for them
to begin paying attention, and have clicked on your
testimonial for exactly that reason.
Further, think about this: You want judges,
bureaucrats, CPAs, lawyers, the HR people where you
work, your pastors, your neighbors and everyone else
to acknowledge the truth about the tax openly and straightforwardly.
How and why would these folks do this if YOU won't?
You want these folks to learn the truth.
Why would they even recognize that there is a truth
to be learned if you won't attest to having learned
it yourself? You've got to stand up, face forward and
chin up and tell these folks that you have studied and
checked and verified and seen the evidence and seen
the government evasions and you know that the tax is
not the capitation that the beneficiary government wants
everyone to think it is but a benign, strictly limited
thing, and that they need to study and learn that, too.
Again, if you have victories to show, that's
nice, and powerful, too. But you don't have to have
victories to display in order to declare your knowledge
of what the law says. I've never flown around the world,
but I've seen the evidence and considered the arguments,
and I'm not hesitant to declare it a sphere...
Even those of you who haven't yet studied
CtC have surely read
this short document, and have verified everything
in it for yourself. You should therefore be declaring
its veracity and its message, loud and proud. Again,
if you won't say it, how can you hope that others will
ever even bother to look at the facts?
Be the change you want to see in the world,
or there won't be any change.
So, please make and send those videos
right away! You can share them with me via a cloud-based
drive space like DropBox, OneDrive.Live.com or GoogleDrive
(if you do GoogleDrive you MUST give access permission to stategroups@losthorizons.com), or
mail DVDs to me at 232 Oriole St., Commerce Twp., Michigan
48382, or even email to me if each file is no more than
20 megs (and you can break a video up if need be-- I
can reassemble them). Render as .mpg or mp4, if possible;
if not, send them how you have them and I'll make them
work.
BTW: An encouraging and inspiring
video will earn you access to the restricted pages
on losthorizons.com and membership in the National
Forum if you have also sent me a recent educated
federal filing and IRS response (or relevant
"return" or "account" transcript). I will be the
judge of whether your submissions qualify
for access, but if you do your best you should do
fine.
Remember, the restoration of institutional
respect for individual rights and the rule of law depends
on enough individuals insisting upon it. Do your part
to let those starting to rub the sleep from their eyes
know that there is a community already waiting for their
fellowship with open arms and open hearts and shining
spirits.

Getting Free Of The "Income" Tax Scheme Is As Easy As
Falling Off A Bike
To get an idea of how today's "income" tax scheme works,
try this little exercise:
Think of the federal government as a guy named Bob,
who lives down the street from you in a town that is
really big on bicycles. Bikes get used for commuting,
deliveries, shopping, etc.. In fact, other than walking,
bicycles are the exclusive form of transportation in
your town.
Your neighbor Bob has a by-the-mile bicycle-renting
business-- "Bob's Bicycles". Bob's Bicycles is far and
away the biggest business in town.
Part of Bob’s success is because he does a lot of contract
business. However, Bob doesn't just get paid by riders
who have signed an agreement with him, or even just
those using Bob's bikes. Bob gets something every time
anybody in town does any riding at all, through an odd
combination of circumstances that took many years to
come together.
Here's how it happened...
Bob's Bicycles was launched long ago by the great grandfather
of the present Bob (Bob IV). Great Grandpa Bob started
out not only with a main location for his contract business--
he also had the bright idea of setting up spots around
town where he parked some of his bikes for use by the
more occasional rider, on an "honor system". Anyone
could take and use one of these bikes, but they were
expected to keep track of their mileage, and send Bob
a "1040 Mileage Ridden/Rent Due Form" (and the appropriate
rent), periodically. The initial design of the form
was like this:
I, ______________,
rode a Bob's Bicycle a total of _____ miles
this year.
At Bob's rental
rate of $.15 per mile, I owe Bob $______
I said that Great Grandpa Bob planned to deal with these
occasional riders on the "honor system", and that's
true. But he liked his money, too, and didn't want to
miss anything that was due him. So, after setting up
the "self-serve" locations, Great Grandpa Bob went around
handing out "W-2, 1099 or K-1 Rider Reporting Forms"
to every other business in town. The forms-- accompanied
by notices that if Bob didn't get his rent from someone
riding a bicycle in connection with any business, he
would sue the company involved-- said:
You Can’t Fight Well When You Don’t Know
What You’re Fighting About
If you are having an argument
with the IRS or any other tax agency,
You are NOT being presumed to have made “corporate
profit”.
You are NOT being alleged to have received “foreign
income”.
You are NOT entangled in an invisible “adhesion
contract”.
You are NOT being obligated by a law whose subject
is never identified.
You are being targeted because REAL EVIDENCE exists
that YOU PERSONALLY HAD “INCOME” to which the revenue laws apply--
even though that evidence is almost certainly incorrect,
and CAN be corrected.

Doing A Little High-Payoff Math

I know that this can mean the investment of a lot of time, attention
and effort, but although some may imagine otherwise, I don't write
as much as I do because I can't think of any other way to spend
my time...
Furthermore, when you encounter a hyperlink within, or associated
with, the text you are reading, follow it!
It is pretty common these days for web-based material to be littered
with hyperlinks. Sometimes the purpose is to provide definitions
or examples, in order to ensure that folks reading the original
material aren't presented with a word or reference which they don't
understand. Sometimes the links lead to illustrations pertinent
to the original text.
It is common-- and perfectly understandable-- for folks who are
confident that they are familiar with language or references within
the main text they are reading to get in the habit of skipping over
included links. I do it all the time, myself!
However, I very rarely include links for definitional or explanatory
purposes; and when I DO make a link out of text in one page it is
generally to another self-contained page, rather than merely illustrative
material. These other pages contain material the clear understanding
of which I deem highly important for the proper and complete understanding
of the original page. (Links to
CtC, the
Victories pages,
CtC Warriors and so on are obvious exceptions to this general
rule. On the other hand, a link to the victory
Highlights or 'Every
Which Way But Loose' pages, which might seem like such exceptions,
are not. The special selection of victories on those pages, and
the filed docs and tax-agency correspondences included therewith,
themselves constitute highly instructive material which merits careful
attention. Thus care needs to be taken in all cases.)
Please make a habit of clicking on all provided links and at least
looking briefly to ensure that the linked page is one with which
you are completely familiar from another study session.
Finally, please keep in mind that, annoying though it may seem at
first blush (but not, I trust, upon reflection), I constantly tweak
material already posted. Obviously this doesn't mean that every
page is in flux at all times, but it does mean that if you are directed
to a page that IS familiar, it's worthwhile to read it through again
if it's been a while since your last having done so.

the "Greenback Party"-- a pro-inflation political organization-- is
established. Ten years later it is dis-established, but not before occupying 25
seats in the U.S. House, in the aggregate, over that decade. In 1950, the
People's Republic of China commits troops to the Korean War on the side of the

Air New Zealand DC 10 crashes at full speed into Mt. Erebus, Antarctica, due to
a navigation error, killing all 257 on board. As can be plainly seen from the
image below, actual high-speed large-commercial-aircraft crashes leave a whole
lot of obvious wreckage:
