Real American grown-ups are at work (and Samuel Adams is smiling down on them):
December 9- In 1835, revolutionary forces of what would become the
Republic of Texas capture San Antonio from Mexico. In 1946, the trial of Nazi
"doctors" who had engaged in human experimentation begins in Nuremberg. In
1958, the John Birch Society is founded. In 1979 the eradication of smallpox is
declared by the World Health Organization. This is untrue, as both the United
States and the then-Soviet Union (and perhaps other states) retain supplies of
the virus for possible "use" at a future time. In 2016, the president of South
Korea is impeached and removed from office (largely for being a nutcase,
although ostensibly for abuse of power).
Anniversaries of interest for
each day of this week will be found throughout the newsletter
below.
...as the Georgia Warriors begin sharing the keys to freedom on a
wholesale basis.
WITH THIS MESSAGE ON DISPLAY, you just gotta love the name
of the billboard company: Revelation.
Isn't that perfect?!
And isn't what the Georgia Warriors have gotten started
just perfect, too? I hope you all agree, and I hope you all find it
inspiring.
Seriously. Find it inspiring, please! As in: Be inspired to
do the same in your own neck of the woods.
I'M GOING TO HELP with the inspiration by sharing some
rather jaw-dropping information. For only $11.87 per day, with no
start-up cost, the billboard you see above--
and four others, as well, in different locations around Georgia--
display this message for eight to ten seconds at a time 324 times per day (in
the aggregate) during morning and evening rush hour.
Together these
intriguing
CtC messages are taken in-- that is,
actually read with interest-- by 691 drivers
each day, according to the billboard industry's research on the
rate at which these ads are actually absorbed by drivers.
SO, INSPIRING, yes?
YES!!
EVERY state group can and should be doing
this!!
And roadside billboards aren't the only kind to be had. These
digital displays can be rented in shopping centers, sports arenas, and
on the sides of city buildings, among other places. Take a
little initiative and do a little research, like the Georgia heroes did.
Get some truth and some guidance to your neighbors out
there, and start swelling the ranks of educated Americans-- that is,
swelling the ranks allies who will stand shoulder to shoulder with you
on behalf of the rule of law.
I know a number of you have kicked around the idea of
launching this kind of campaign since I first brought it up more than a
year ago. But with no one stepping up to do the necessary research,
everyone assumed the costs would be high. That assumption was enough to
keep the notion just a notion.
But now everyone knows that assumption was wrong. So, rock
and roll, people!!
YOU'RE ALL FAMILIAR WITH
the "butterfly
effect", right? That's the social/political action metaphor for the
potential of effective activism. In brief, a butterfly flapping its
wings can put a stir into the air which, through the astonishing
complexity of variables on which it can impinge, eventually becomes a
mighty gale.
The Georgia Warriors are being "the butterfly" here (ok,
more like "the eagle", really). They have thrown down a powerful
wing-clap.
Now you add some flaps of your own. The Georgia wing-clap
becomes a hint of thunder in the air.
More good folks learn the truth from your combined efforts.
They start adding their own energy to the growing dynamo.
Pretty soon, there is a serious cleansing storm at work.
Nice thought, yes?
Do I hear, "Challenge accepted!"?
"It does not take a majority to prevail... but rather an irate,
tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men."
A Nice Tax Court Victory Over A Fake "Frivolous
Return Penalty"
Accomplished warrior Ruben Varela shares the good news!
CALIFORNIA
CtC Warrior
Ruben Varela (meet him here)
has just shared a fine victory secured in Tax Court last month over a
corrupt IRS attempt to collect a fake "frivolous return penalty" from
him, ostensibly over
his return for 2005, filed four years ago after Ruben found his way
to CtC.
Ruben's actual return was never threatened with a penalty
directly. Instead, the IRS attempted an intimidation and harassment by
asserting the penalty against a reference copy of the return which Ruben
included with a letter responding to an IRS "disallowance notice" in
regard to the refund Ruben had claimed.
(That refund was not claimed in the expectation of
receiving it, of course-- it being way too late for that. But an
accurate completion of the 1040 per the instructions called for listing
the amounts withheld as overpayments and therefore only appropriate to
be listed for refund.)
SO, THE FRP ASSERTION was one of the "fake" fake "ARG44"
FRPs discussed here--
and thus one even more egregiously invalid than
the usual variety.
Nonetheless, the completely corrupt IRS Office of Chief Counsel fought
to get the thing upheld for well over a year before finally facing the
fact that it was up against a solid, confident litigant who had the law
and the facts on his side and was not backing down.
You've got magic in your hands, if you will use it...
I HAVE LATELY BURNED A LOT OF PIXELS encouraging people to take advantage of
CtC's status as the
singular solution to concerns of privacy activists,
transparency activists, 9/11 truth activists and opponents of the increasingly
authoritarian, expensive, immoral and dangerous security state generally. That solution-status is a
superpower whose wielder can pull large numbers from these activist communities
into ours and move us much closer to final-victory critical mass.
Unfortunately, having never been copied on anything sent
into any of these activist communities, I fear that my
encouragements in this regard are falling on deaf ears. Perhaps folks
are failing to grasp that anyone facing harassment, resistance or
grief from a tax agency-- now or in the future-- who hasn't vigorously
pursued this sort of being-the-storm project has or will have only himself to blame.
But I live in hope, so...
BELOW YOU WILL SEE a handful of "memes" I've put together
in order to facilitate this activist-community outreach project. I hope that with the thing
being made as simple as just attaching these images to tweets and GABs
with suitable messages and hashtags, or posting them on facebook walls
or newsgroup pages, maybe you all will get going with this zero-cost,
high-payback play?
Here are the first batch of memes (to which I might add
more, and you certainly can do so as well):
MOST OF YOU PROBABLY ALREADY HAVE contacts in one or more
of the communities addressed with these messages. If not direct
contacts, you will regularly see tweets, GABs and posts from those folks
or about these issues.
All that is necessary is to post/tweet/GAB these memes as
original expressions or as replies (or as illustrations accompanying
original or reply expressions). Especially post them on websites of the
related activists, whether directly (if possible) or as comments or
replies to articles and so forth on those webpages.
Finding places to post is easy. Just google "privacy
activists" or "wikileaks supporters" (or "save Julian Assange") or "the
truth about 9/11" or "the truth about Russia hacking the DNC". Each such
search will bring up a great starting line-up of pages and
activist-enclaves dedicated to each of these issues.
Every participant in each of the pages and enclaves is a
self-selected enthusiast for the one means by which the evil they decry
can be vanquished. They just don't know it yet.
SO, C'MON, PEOPLE! This is EASY.
And the payoff could be huge-- and the best thing you ever
did for yourself.
But nothing will happen unless YOU get to work.
"I am a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I
work, the more I have of it."
Share these all, everywhere you can. Be your most
creative self in sending and "selling" these links. Do memes; make
gifs; respond to everything in the news that would be or have been
better had the state been small, or if Americans kept their money
for their own uses.
If you pay attention to the news and train yourself to
apply these perspectives, you will see a dozen things of which you
can make use in awakening other Americans to the virtues of having
the income tax correctly administered. Please, for my sake, for your
own sake, for the sake of your children and their future, make that
use.

Hey, People! It's Time For A 16th Anniversary Christmas
Special!!
Any excuse for a party, right? How about a free
CtC to help you
celebrate?!
I THINK WE'D ALL AGREE that sometimes the truth can be a pesky
thing-- demanding, disturbing, and seriously inconvenient. The fact is, when you
know the truth, you have to act on it, or be party to a lie; and when that lie
is old, entrenched, vigorously defended and comfortingly familiar, the
correcting truth can be very hard to learn, and even harder to act upon.
Learning the truth about the income tax means setting aside
misconceptions nurtured for a lifetime. Acting on that truth means abandoning
lifelong servility to the state through the offices of the IRS-- the one
organization whose carefully cultivated reputation as a rabid junkyard dog is
feared by everyone in America.
Both of those things are really hard!
However, those very same challenges also make
'Cracking the Code-...' the most rewarding gift to get or give this holiday
season.
After all, how better could you communicate to those you love the
high degree of esteem in which you hold them? How more certain of your high
regard could they be made, after such a display of your faith in their
character?
(Helping them stop unnecessary losses of up to 40% or more of their
earnings each year goes over pretty well, too, by the way...)
So, pass out a little panic this year.
Then stand back and watch your special someone
standtall, like the real American he or she was born to be.
Oh, and by the way...
It being the season for giving, I'm gifting YOU with a
free CtC to give to
that special someone!
HERE'S HOW IT WORKS: Order two items at full price on a single
order postmarked between now and December 31, 2019--
books or Companion CDs--
and I'll throw in a fresh and shiny new copy of
CtC at no charge.
All you have to do is write, "Send me CtC for free, Pete!" on the printed form
or note you send with your order. It's that simple!
(Deceitful efforts to discourage Americans from
learning the truth about the "income tax")
FOR ALL THE YEARS SINCE 2003 when
CtC was first published, the government has engaged in a
concerted effort to frighten people away from its truths. This
effort involves official government websites and press releases
touting an occasional court ruling that appears to be at odds
with some
CtC-revelation (but without details sufficient to expose the
real substance of the ruling)--
and sometimes even more mendacious behavior.
Are the presentations and
resources offered on this site and in my other work of any value to you?
Tim Kendrick has posted
a video
on YouTube regarding donations. I didn't know what to do about
it to begin with; I don't do what I do intending for anyone to
feel obligated in any way.
But of course, no one IS obligated. I will continue
to make my work freely-available here, and in my books for only
the cost of a cheap paperback.
Thus, even though I post it here below, Tim's very
thoughtful personal resolution and encouragement to others is
just an invitation for consideration by those who may not be
conscious of the fact that I can't do what I do without support.
No one is to feel any pressure from it; if it moves anyone to
act let it be solely because it seems right.
All-in-all, just be the sort of person for others
that you would go to yourself for trustworthy leadership.
Leadership is a challenge. But it's not
complicated, and you can do it.

Are You Having Trouble Spreading The
Word??
SKEPTICISM (SOMETIMES INVOKED BY FEAR) IS TO BE
EXPECTED when you're trying to explain to someone that
everything they've been encouraged their whole lives to
believe about something as entrenched and significant as the
income tax is basically nonsense. So here's a way to help
cut through the resistance:
Ask your listener how he or she would react if
you were to show an announcement from the Commissioner of
Internal Revenue admitting that the tax doesn't apply to the
earnings of most Americans and is misapplied most of the
time because people don't understand how it works? Or how
about if you showed a ruling from the Supreme Court saying
the same?
Now you just have to explain that
you're going to show exactly those things-- but because
the state really doesn't want people to know this, these
things haven't been said quite as forthrightly as we would
all wish. It's going to take a bit more work to take these
admissions in than is sufficient for just reading a press
release. But it'll be worth the effort...
IF YOU'RE NOT SPREADING THIS LINK with every bit of
energy you can, to school libraries, homeschool
families and community groups, your neighbors, your
family members, your pastors and
co-congregationalists, journalists, lawyers, CPAs,
members of congress, tax-agency workers, Wikipedia,
Anonymous, WikiLeaks, the Tax Foundation, everyone
in the "tax honesty" movement, the 9/11 truth
movement, other activist movements and everyone
else,
you have only yourself to blame for your
troubles with the tax, and a whole lot else of which
you might complain. It's on you.
WRITE A NICE, FRIENDLY AND BRIEF introductory note
explaining what will be seen at the link-- cryptic
is bad; excited is good-- and then send this WMI
(weapon of mass instruction) far and wide.
Remember: Real Americans don't accommodate fog, lies and a sliding scale of
adherence to the rule of law. Real American men and women stand up for the
truth and the law, come what may, knowing that it is only by setting the bar
at the top and enforcing it, come what may, that liberties are secured.

OK, we need to talk about fascism. Not just any kind of
fascism. A particularly insidious kind of fascism. No, not the fascism of the
early 20th Century. Not Mussolini’s National Fascist Party. Not Hitler’s NSDAP.
Not Francoist fascism or any other kind of organized fascist movement or party.
Not even the dreaded Tiki-torch Nazis.
It’s the other kind of fascism we need to talk about.
The kind that doesn’t come goose-stepping up the street waving big neo-Nazi
flags. The kind we don’t recognize when we’re looking right at it.
It’s like that joke about the fish and the water … we
don’t recognize it because we’re swimming in it. We’re surrounded by it. We are
inseparable from it. From the moment we are born, we breathe it in.
We are taught it by our parents, who were
taught it by their parents. We are taught it again by our teachers in
school. It is reinforced on a daily basis at work, in conversations with
friends, in our families and our romantic relationships. We imbibe it in
books, movies, TV shows, advertisements, pop songs, the nightly news, in
our cars, at the mall, the stadium, the opera … everywhere, because it
is literally everywhere.
It doesn’t look like fascism to us. Fascism
only looks like fascism when you’re standing outside of it, or looking
back at it. When you are in it, fascism just looks like “normality,”
like “reality,” like “just the way it is.”
I'VE REALLY BEEN ENJOYING C.J. HOPKINS since first encountering one
of his articles on Ron Unz's website earlier this year. The guy is witty and
insightful, and has proven to be an equal opportunity "pox on all their houses"
enemy of statist evil from whatever quarter is oozes. My kind of guy.
Anyway, the piece above is one of the best Hopkins articles
I've had the pleasure of enjoying so far. I hope you liked it, too.
My one critique is that while Hopkins does an outstanding
job of limning the sordid realities of modern Western political culture
(and the blithe immersion within it of most sleepwalking Americans), he
fails to share with his readers the solution to the really quite serious
threat dwelling within the statist quo he so ably describes and skewers.
It's a shame that Hopkins doesn't know of that solution. I am sure that if
he did he would be broadcasting
this liberating, Leviathan-crushing news as loudly as his big voice can
manage.
EVEN AS ARDENT A STATIST as Abraham
Lincoln, in announcing his willingness to burn the Southern states to the ground in order to
keep them paying the tariff for the benefit of Northern interests in
his first inaugural address on March 4, 1861, paid at least lip
service to the Founders design of leaving control over the fuel
available to feed the fires Washington wants to light in the hands
of the individual citizenry when he said, "Doing this I deem to
be only a simple duty on my part; and I shall perform it, unless my
rightful masters, the American people, shall withhold the requisite
means..."

Do you
know someone truly steeped in the Kool-Aid?
I mean
someone who finds it easier to believe that the far-better-educated,
far-more-suspicious-of-government Americans of a hundred years ago were
complete morons who granted authority to the state to take whatever it
wished from themselves and their posterity than to imagine that they
themselves simply misunderstand the true nature of the income tax? Even
while knowing that their beliefs about the tax are derived entirely from
the representations of those who profit from those beliefs (like tax
bureaucrats and "tax professionals")?
Do you

Hendrickson is also a widely-read essayist on
matters of politics, public policy and law; many of these works
are collected in his second book, ‘Upholding
the Law And Other Observations’. He is a member of Mensa;
an
award-winning artist; and has paid his dues as a youth
soccer coach. He is a long-time political activist as well, and
has served as co-chair and platform convention delegate of
Michigan’s largest county Libertarian Party organization; as a
consultant to the National Right to Work Foundation and Citizens
for a Sound Economy; as a member of the Heartland Institute; and
as a member of the International Society for Individual
Liberty. He is a frequent radio-show guest on stations across
the country.
Hendrickson's business career has included nearly a
decade-and-a-half at the leading edge of the renewable-energy
industry, both as Director of Purchasing and Materials
Management and member of the R&D board at Starpak Energy
Systems, the mid-west's then-largest solar heating and
energy-recovery-and re-utilization company; and as founder and
president of AFJ Inc., a high-efficiency lighting design,
manufacture and installation firm.
Beginning in the mid-1990s and continuing for the
twelve years before his present full-time focus on the
restoration of the rule of law in America, Hendrickson directed
purchasing activities for the $84 million-a-year
multi-family-housing division of the Farmington Hills, Michigan
branch of Edward Rose and Sons, with responsibility for 18,000+
apartments, direct supervision of 35 technicians and agents, and
incidental authority over several hundred divisional workers.
He also ran the division's 10 cable television earth-station and
distribution systems in four states, and designed and
administered the company's website.
On rather the other end of the spectrum, amidst
these more mundane pursuits Hendrickson co-founded and was the
primary creative force behind a small
board- and
card-game company that enjoyed a modest success for several
years.
Hendrickson makes his home in southeast Michigan,
with his wife and two children. He is currently working on his
next book.
