"The preservation of a free government requires, not
merely that the metes and bounds which separate
each department of power be invariably maintained, but
more especially that neither of them be suffered to
overleap the great barrier which defends the rights
of the people. The rulers who are guilty of such
encroachment exceed the commission from which they derive
their authority, and are TYRANTS. The people who
submit to it are governed by laws made neither by themselves
nor by an authority derived from them and are slaves….."

With Considerable Regret I Must Announce That
The Seminar In Manchester Is Canceled Until Further Notice
IN AN EXPRESSION of the madness
gripping the nation in response to the Covid-19
outbreak, the governor of New Hampshire has decreed
that no restaurants may serve customers indoors
until at least April 7, including the one in which
this seminar was to take place. I'm terribly sorry
for any inconvenience this may cause.
THIS PAST THURSDAY, in reaction
to the state's outrageous proposal to
massively inflate (devalue) the fiat money
already out there by way of the "CARES Act"
(rather than solving the problem more
responsibly by simply standing down from all
the unconstitutional hindrances that have
been fastened upon American economic
activity)-- and in recognition of an
opportunity to make some lemonade out of
some lemons--
I tweeted the following:
Word to Congress: NOT ONE MORE DIME ON FOREIGN AID.
NOT ONE MORE DIME DEFENDING FOREIGN
COUNTRIES; GARRISONING FOREIGN COUNTRIES; OR MAKING WAR ON BEHALF OF
FOREIGN COUNTRIES.
AMERICA FIRST!!
Afterward, I realized that I
may have been remiss in assuming a general
understanding of the term "Foreign Aid",
which some might mistakenly imagine to be a
kind of well-meant charity. That mistake is,
after all, the intention of the label given
to the practice, and not everyone has had a chance to learn differently.
Hence, the need for
clarification, lest those taken in by the
euphemistic label might imagine me to be a
Scrooge arguing against American relief
efforts to those in need, or the like.
SO, LET'S GET THIS CLEAR:
foreign aid is NOT charity. It doesn't get
distributed to needy citizens of
impoverished countries; it doesn't consist
of facemasks and medicine.
Here's a good REAL working
definition of foreign aid:
FURTHER... the ridiculous 300
character limitations of twitter having made
it impossible to say so in the tweet itself,
let me also take this opportunity to explain
that it was issued in response/reaction to
the 'CARES Act'. That enactment is so hugely
expensive that pressure on Washington to
abandon other routine wastes of money on
behalf of special interest cronies and
clients should be much more effective than
usual, and the opportunity should not be
wasted (are you listening, Rahm Emanuel?
This sword cuts both ways...).
Already some punditry is
shifting focus from Chicken-Little
screeching to calling for an end to the
routine, annual pissing away of a $trillion
or more on military and "national security"
boondoggles, none of which has ever done
anything for the American people, and which
has, instead, eroded our well-being and our
liberties while enriching and empowering the
dangerous
military-industrial-congressional-complex
against which Dwight Eisenhower famously
warned us in 1960. This shift should be
applauded, encouraged, amplified and
emulated.

Government to keep the citizen from falling

citizen to keep the Government from falling
into error."

Why Did Everyone Miss The
Very Shiny
Pearl I Tossed Out Last Week?
...and thus miss a great
opportunity to make lemonade out of the current
inundation of lemons?
BEING MADE MUCH OF IN THE WEEKEND NEWS
has been the belated "fast-track" approval a few days ago by
the FDA for use of the hydroxychloroquine/azithromycin
cure which was proven 100% successful in French
clinical trials earlier this month (and about which
you learned here ten days ago). Woot, woot,
right?
Of course, in just the couple
of weeks since the publication of the French
trial results on March 17 some number of
American Covid-19 victims have died. During
those same couple of weeks several state
governments (such as Michigan's,
as reported here) have imposed bans on
the use of these drugs due to a lack of
prior FDA approval. Until those state
government let themselves be bumped out of
that groove and stand down from
these restrictions many more will die.
And yet, no one needed to die
for lack of this hydroxychloroquine/azithromycin
treatment. The simple fact is that no doctor
in America is or ever was legally obliged to
wait one minute for FDA approval before
treating with these drugs. Not one
manufacturer is or ever was obliged to seek
or wait for FDA approval to make, label or
market these drugs as treatments for
Covid-19.
THE REASON I SAY these radical-sounding things about the FDA is that the
agency's authority under the law is actually
quite limited. What's more, the limitations on
FDA authority are expressed in
the law with remarkable clarity.
Here is the legislative
imposition of federal authority over new
drugs, treatments, devices, etc. (the term
"drug" is very expansively defined for
purposes of the following,
embracing all these things and more):
Sec. 355. - New drugs
(a) Necessity of effective
approval of application
No person shall introduce or
deliver for introduction into interstate
commerce any new drug, unless an approval of
an application filed pursuant to subsection
(b) or (j) of this section is effective with
respect to such drug.
Sounds like a big and
comprehensive authority, right? Well, not
really.
Here is the actual scope of
that authority; that is, the particulars of
what introduction or delivery of any new
"drug" into interstate commerce really
means, and thus, what introductions or
deliveries actually fall under the sway of
the Food and Drug Act (and hence, the FDA):
Sec. 321. - Definitions;
generally
(b) The term ''interstate
commerce'' means (1) commerce between any
State or Territory and any place outside
thereof, and (2) commerce within the
District of Columbia or within any other
Territory not organized with a legislative
body.
To summarize these legal
provisions, I will quote from the essay
discussing this limited authority to which I
attempted to direct you all last week:
Clearly, any drug maker that
wished could set up shop in California, for
instance, and sell to its heart’s content
within the 5th largest economy in the world
without sending so much as a birthday card
to the FDA. (Indeed, one has to wonder why
the various state governments are not luring
drug manufacturers to spin off units into
their individual jurisdictions, so that the
next innovation can be marketed to each
state’s citizens at far lower prices than is
possible under the FDA regimen).
All told, no drug maker
need apply to the FDA for diddly, nor await
its imprimatur before proceeding to
formulate, test, manufacture and market
product within the confines of any of the
several states. Likewise, no doctor (or
anyone else) need await an agency
dispensation before prescribing treatments
which are personally or professionally
deemed proper under the circumstances of the
case.
NICE, YES? A lot of
people very important to a lot of other
people could have their lives preserved by
doctors across the country acting like
inhabitants of the land of the free and
prescribing and treating according to their
best opinions. All these doctors must do is
begin ignoring the FDA and its imagined
authoritah over treatment
decisions.
No doubt that disregard of the
FDA will be accompanied by sighs of serious
relief from the real heroes of the medical
profession, if not a spitting over the
shoulder.
Let's not forget, even if the
FDA did have authority its proper
course would be to relinquish it and stand
back while the free market in research and
experimentation by tens of thousands of
sensible and concerned professionals in the
field rapidly sorted out and disseminated
amongst each other the best possible
treatments. But instead, this sclerocracy,
among the very oldest of the "alphabet
agencies" and one of the first to pretend to
broad authority under the "commerce clause",
insists on trying to run the show even
though its doing so is the biggest fly in
the ointment.
That mindless, reflexive
self-absorption is simply the unalterable
nature of bureaucratic beasts. It is one
very good reason that sensible people don't
tolerate them.
Thank goodness no one actually
has to pay attention to these pretentious
pencil-pushers!
As best I can determine, out of
more than 17,000 visitors to
the site last week, only 4 people accessed
the .pdf
to which I directed everyone, and in
which this important information was
provided.
As a result of that neglect,
not only did this possibly life-saving
information lie fallow for what may have
been a very critical week for some folks,
but the huge consciousness-raising lever it
represents has been lost, now that the FDA
has issued its blessing on the use of
hydroxychloroquine/azithromycin.
Think about it. For months of a
very panicky America, the CDC and the FDA
have been exposed as at least roadblocks to
relief and a proper remedy, if not outright
incompetent.
FOR MONTHS THE CDC has been
deploying
ridiculous data manipulations to make
the fatality rate appear way higher than it
actually is and the agency appear way more
important than it actually is. As a result,
the panic is worse than it should be and
I'm betting that hospital beds across the country are filled
up with patients not really in mortal peril
who could be handling their infections at
home, while the health infrastructure
scrambles to find space for people who
really DO need hospitalization.
FOR NEARLY TWO WEEKS up until
last Friday, the FDA told Americans they
could not have
access to a cure which is already rolled out in
Europe, and the major component of which has
been in use in China for months. The
ridiculous reason given was that no research
or testing but the FDA's is up to snuff,
data produced by specialists in other
countries is merely anecdotal (and better
you should die rather than take a chance on
such foreign voodoo).
The real reason?
The sclerocracy's protection of its turf,
pure and simple.
SO, WE HAVE JUST HAD THE
EXPOSURE of two institutional behemoths--
the CDC and the FDA-- as actual obstacles to
Americans' well-being and security on the
most fundamental of levels. Obstacles which
go so far as to prevent access to
life-saving medicines, and not just
preventing a tiny group wanting avacado pits
but preventing a deeply-panicked EVERYBODY.
And we've seen the other
institutions of the centralized state
backing up this shocking and indefensible
behavior.
Does it not seem likely that
under those circumstances Americans would
have been ready to wake up and take in the
fact that the United States really doesn't
have the kind of broad nanny-state
jurisdiction over every damn thing that
progressive enemies of a
Constitutionally-limited republic have been
trying to pretend it does for the last 85
years? What I presented to everyone's
attention last Monday about the limits of
FDA jurisdiction might have raced across the
country like a wildfire.
That wildfire would have been
energized by every person who weighed
continued reflexive deferral to
institutional authoritah versus protecting
their lives.
All that was asked of them in
making this no-brainer of a choice was that
they shake off smothering myths, point the
finger, and announce that the Emperor has no
clothes (an understanding of which has
ramifications far beyond just health issues,
the CDC and the FDA).
That price is a bit scary, of
course, but I think we would all have been
deafened by the nakedness announcements, and
thrilled by the sight of huge numbers of
Americans reasserting authority over their
own lives and choices.
AH, WELL. This didn't happen.
No one looked at what I had presented, and
so didn't share it.
Maybe next time, right?
IN ALL SERIOUSNESS, friends,
even those 'Other Voices' articles are
valuable and ought to be read through every
single week. My afterwords are all-- every
one of them-- crafted to equip YOU with new
approaches to the critically-important task
of raising consciousness among other
Americans.
That raising of consciousness
is the path to your security in
your rights. YOU cannot be free
surrounded by, and interacting with,
300,000,000 collectivist robots.
You-- all of us-- must be
constantly creative and constantly vigorous
in our effort to light the wildfires. If we
are both those things, we will prevail.

"I am a great believer in luck,
and I find the harder I work, the more I

THIS VIDEO PROJECTS THE PROGRESS of a nuclear exchange between Russia and
the United States. It's frightening, as it should
be, as well as sobering and instructive. My only
criticisms are, first of all, that it fails to
account for the imbalance that will now be present
in any such exchange due to
the new Russian
hypersonic weapons.
Secondly, the video fails to account
for China's contribution to the exchange against the
US, which is a virtual certainty. China knows that
if Russia goes, and the US survives, it goes soon
after. So, that will not be allowed to happen.
CAN YOU EVEN IMAGINE how abysmally
stupid someone would have to be to continue to doubt
or deny that
CtC has revealed the actual, complete and insurmountable
truth about the income tax in light of the overwhelming
mountain of
historical,legal,
practical and
logical evidence to the contrary? (Not to mention
the
outright lies and even
ludicrous hoaxes the executive and some corrupt
members of the judiciary have been caught at in desperate
efforts to conceal the truth...)
Plainly any such denier must either be
abysmally stupid or be an abysmally corrupt government
official or other person who sees him or herself as
benefitting from the lies about the tax by which America
has suffered for 75 years now.
Isn't this true?

Punishing America's Enemies
Denying medicines to Iran and
Venezuela is a crime against humanity.
by Philip Giraldi
Much remains to be learned
about the coronavirus, though it is quite possible
that it will not be possible to determine how it
developed if the various governments that might be
involved prove to be uncooperative. The Chinese
carefully controlled the information on the virus in
its early stages, though they eventually adopted a
complete lockdown to prevent its spread that seems
to have been successful and might serve as a model
for other nations to follow if they can overcome
concerns about threats to civil liberties that
evolve from placing too much power in the hands of
corrupt and ignorant government officials.
Over two weeks ago,
I suggested that the current form of corona
might have possibly escaped from someone’s lab where
a weaponized virus was being developed, most likely
in China itself, though nations like the United
States and Israel which are believed to have
significant capabilities in biowarfare as well as a
geopolitical motive to unleash the disease on
certain countries should not be excluded. I still
believe that assessment should be considered as
viable particularly as the politicization process
involving the virus is now fully in play.
China
is now claiming that U.S. soldiers involved in
the World Military Games held in Wuhan back in
October might have deliberately planted the virus,
while President Donald Trump and other Republicans
in the U.S. are calling the disease the Wuhan or
China virus, implying willful or careless behavior
by the Chinese and a clear effort to demonize the
Beijing government by exploiting the appearance of
the virus as a wedge issue. And one might take note
of the fact that the virus has particularly hit both
China and Iran, countries that are on Washington’s
enemy list, which generates additional conspiracy
theories.
Donald Trump is not
exactly a person overflowing with
compassion. When corona virus began to
emerge in the U.S. he called it a “hoax” and
urged everyone to keep going to work even if
ill, precisely the opposite of what was
being recommended by most responsible
medical authorities. He is now planning to
throw $1200 dollars at each American
resident whether they need it or not to undo
the political damage, a proposal that will
cost as much as $500 billion of money that
the United States does not have and which it
will have to either print or borrow. The
money should be going to those who are now
unemployed as a result of the virus, a point
that surprisingly enough
is being made by several Republican
Senators.
Hundreds of
billions more will go to the usual
“victims,” banks and large corporations that
will
use the cash to pay off long terms loans
and also to buyback their own stock and
raise the value of their shares for
investors. That is precisely what happened
in 2008, with little to show for the average
American.
One of the most
truly despicable aspects of the coronavirus
is how it is being exploited by Washington
to punish countries like Iran and Venezuela,
currently the enemy-designates of the inside
the Beltway crowd. It would be possible to
describe the Trump Administration policy
towards both nations as sadistic apart from
the fact that the behavior of the president
and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo might
actually shock the Marquis de Sade.
GIRALDI DOES HIS USUAL GOOD JOB of
summarizing events and thinking clearly. I only have
two criticisms of this article.
My first complaint is over Giraldi's
unfortunate conflation of 'America' with the
current denizens of the Washington DC swamp,
as reflected in the title of his article. I
will offer this explanation and correction:
Iran and Venezuela are
not
America's enemies. Neither Iran nor
Venezuela has ever done anything to me, or
to any American I know.
If anything, Giraldi should
have titled his article, 'Punishing the
United States' Enemies'.
BUT EVEN CALLING IRAN AND
VENEZUELA "United States enemies" wouldn't
really be right. Neither Iran nor Venezuela
are really enemies of the United States.
Neither has ever attacked these shores, or
even just Washington, DC.
The more accurate thing to say
is that the "United States" (that is, the
entity headquartered in DC) is the enemy of
Iran and Venezuela, but those two countries
are merely the United States' victims. They
have done nothing to it; it has done much to
them.
The title of Giraldi's article
really should be, 'Punishing The United
States' Perpetual Victims-- Again'.
ONE THING GIRALDI surely gets
right, on the other hand, is his subtitle: Denying
medicines to Iran and Venezuela is a crime
against humanity. It simply isn't put
strongly enough, because the much-needed and
and deeply appropriate "despicable" (as in,
"...is a despicable crime against
humanity.") has been omitted.
The denial IS despicable. But
it only has real meaning because the
Leviathan state is able to prevent Iran and
Venezuela from taking care of their own
needs.
It isn't that these two countries are
simply not being sent medicines and other
supplies from America. It is that they are
rendered incapable of buying them anywhere
by the heavy hand of United States sanctions
and its other vicious abuses and war crimes.
I don't really blame Giraldi
too strongly-- he simply doesn't know what
he doesn't know. Maybe if enough of us
forward him this article (here's
the link) he will learn about the remedy
and next time he writes, many, many more
Americans will begin learning, too.
I HAVE DONE MY BEST to lead this country
to liberty from the mis-applied income tax. I have labored
hard. I've shed a lot of sweat, a fair bit of blood
and more than a few tears. But I seem to be pretty poor
at that kind of work.
When I have asked all of you for what I
firmly believe is a necessary resource to move the ball
downfield and give all of us the best chance at justice
and an end to the assault on the rule of law-- simple
testimonial videos requiring nothing from any of you
but the phone in your pocket and three minutes of speaking
from the heart-- I have had only a handful of people
answer my call.
I CAN'T KEEP GOING THIS WAY. I have to
be able to turn my attention away from writing new persuasive
or skepticism-addressing articles week after week, and
toward research, analysis and educational presentations
that will benefit everyone already in this community.
I need time to do some suing, and to bring together
the resources and talent toward that end.
As said, it is my firm belief that your
testimonial videos are the resource that I need to make
big things happen, and they are unquestionably the thing
I need to allow me to turn my attention away from trying
to get horses to drink at the waterhole to which I have
led them. Your words, in your great numbers and all
in your own different ways, will do that better than
anything I write possibly could.
And yet, you are not providing them. This,
despite my having been asking you for them for many
years now.
Therefore, with enormous reluctance, I
am making portions of this website restricted access
only. People have been urging me to do this for years
now, telling me I should impose a charge to access my
work-product, so as to enable me to keep producing.
I have never been inclined to charge fees
for access. I ask for donations, and will continue to
do that, and if they do not come, then I will conclude
that my work is of no value to anyone, and I will close
shop.
But I now WILL charge a special
something for access to some key portions of that
work.
Opening selected pages on
losthorizons.com comprising higher level legal
resources now requires the submission of qualifying testimonial
videos, as discussed, described and demonstrated
here.
The videos must be accompanied by scans of a recent
educated filing along with responsive documents from
the IRS, whether in the form of a check, a notice
identifying and reflecting the filed return, or
"return" and "account" transcripts for the year for
which the return was filed. Names must be shown in
full.
Similarly, if
an email comes my way asking for guidance or assistance,
I had better already have your video posted.
I HATE TO PLAY IT THIS WAY. But I want
to win.
I'll tell you a story from when I was coaching
my kids in soccer. Both of my kids at a certain age
in their careers had run into a wall common to all but
the very exceptional. They had gotten to be pretty good,
and they wanted to enjoy the benefits of their hard
work. But the arrival of this interest coincided with
a new self-consciousness which made them reluctant to
risk failing and looking foolish. So, they were hanging
back from seizing the main chance when it appeared,
and driving for the goal.
My solution was to post on the wall of
our dining room a couple of simple points about self-discipline,
the chief of which is this: You can't score a goal if
you don't take a shot.
That's how it is here, too. If you don't
stand up, you are laying down, and you'll never score
that goal.
Here is what my kids live by now, in their
own version of that lesson. I hear it from them all
the time as they excel (accompanied by the sound of
a father's breast swelling with pride): Go hard,
or go home.
You, too. Go hard, or go home.
Send those videos.
Do I ask for a lot? I want your victories
to post, your financial support, your efforts at spreading
the word, and your beautiful faces and inspiring words,
too. It IS a lot.
But it's not too much. I'll let Thomas Paine explain:
"Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered;
yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder
the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we
obtain too cheaply, we esteem too lightly. Heaven knows
how to put a proper price on its goods; and it would
be strange indeed, if so celestial an article as freedom
should not be highly rated.”
We each have our reasons, and our story.
It's time, and it's needed, for you to share yours with
the world.
"The day we see truth and do not speak
is the day we begin to die."
-Martin Luther King, Jr.
What does it for you?
Is it simply because no moral and upstanding
person has any choice when it comes to telling the truth
over his or her signature, whether on tax forms or anywhere
else?
Is it recognition of the critical importance
of the rule of law, and the knowledge that if everybody
leaves its caretaking to someone else, it will soon
be lost to us completely?
Is it the money?
Maybe it's just simple respect for your
own rights as a human being, who is not and cannot be
not involuntarily subordinated to others?
Maybe it's just simple respect for your
general civic responsibility to be the grown-up and
enforce frugality and restraint on a big, powerful creature
of our own devising which otherwise is like a badly-raised
teenage boy given whiskey and car keys and let loose
on the road to wreak havoc?
Or is it, perhaps, a more acute anxiety
that if our bonfire of a state isn't damped, and quickly,
it'll soon burn down the house around us all?
What IS it that firms up your jaw and stiffens
your resolve?
It's time to take off the bushel and
share your light!
I would like you to think about what it
is that motivates you for a few moments (or all day,
if you like), and then send me your thoughts. I want
to put YOUR reasons to work inspiring folks who don't
yet understand what this is all about.
In this day and age, the most effective
way for you to share your thinking for the benefit of
others is to video-record yourself talking about how
you feel, and explaining what inspires and motivates
YOU.
All you need is a webcam or cell-phone
equipped with a camera. If you don't have, or know how
to use, one of these, have a friend help. (And if
you use a cell-phone, please have the orientation
horizontal, not vertical-- that is, so that the
screen of the phone on which you are watching
yourself while taping looks like a TV or movie
screen.)
If needed, write a little script for yourself.
Better, though, to just speak extemporaneously, after
spending a little time sorting out your thoughts and
getting down into your heart. Perhaps make it a video
of someone in your family, or a close friend, interviewing
you.
Dress "business casual". Be well-groomed.
Keep yourself to no more than 2 or 3 minutes,
and keep in mind that the purpose is
not to educate,
but to INSPIRE, ENCOURAGE and ENERGIZE. Your video will
be one of many to be shared. If you need to go
longer to really say your piece, go for it (but long
or short I may edit if something strikes me as
wandering or off-key or unacceptable).
You needn't feel any obligation to be profound,
and you shouldn't try to explain anything about the
law, other than to say that you have read it and you
know it's on your side. You just need to be sincere,
and uplifting. Your object is to make your audience
want to have what you have, and to be where you are
in your heart.
Don't talk to ME, or to others in the
CtC-educated community. Make remarks that are suited
to the NON-CtC-educated community, and at the same
time, be mindful that you're speaking to an
audience that doesn't yet know ANYTHING about the subject,
and whose first reaction is, "This must be illegal;
this must be dangerous; this is too good to be true."
You want to pull that audience right past such things,
and straight to a focus on truth, morality, and our
American heritage of liberty and the rule of law.
Remember: INSPIRE, ENCOURAGE, ENERGIZE.
Speak about rights. Speak about morality,
and the obligation of a grown-up and responsible person
to speak the truth and to enforce the Constitution.
Speak about everyone's duty
to give to God what is God's, always, and to Caesar
only what is really Caesar's. Speak of your obligation
to respect yourself, and to look out for the current
and future well-being of your children and your fellow
citizens. Speak of
CtC, and what its information has done for your
understanding and resolve. Show the book.
If you have had victories, describe them.
Better still, show them, if possible.
Be clear about just what you accomplished:
EVERYTHING back-- Social Security, Medicare and all;
a "notice of deficiency" closing notice; an on-paper
agreement or acknowledgment that your earnings weren't
subject to the tax and everything withheld or paid-in
was an "overpayment"; a transcript showing all $0s;
or whatever happened.
When you speak of state victories, name
the state. If you had to overcome balkiness from a tax
agency before winning any victory, describe that, too!
If you're in a battle now, speak of your
resolve to uphold the law, come what may--
why you're not discouraged, and why you are not
standing down, not slinking back into the barn, and
not choosing to endorse the lies. Don't get
into details-- your audience is going to have no
idea what a "LTR3176" is, and you will NOT be
capable of explaining it adequately. This is an
subject area concerning which you should speak from
the heart, not the head.
If you haven't
yet begun to act, share the reasons for your decision to do so, and
your plans.
Remember, your purpose is to INSPIRE, ENCOURAGE
and ENERGIZE.
Watch your own video after you
record it and ask yourself: Putting yourself
in the place of someone completely immersed
in "the matrix"-- oblivious to any notions
that you might have been a victim of an
"ignorance tax", and comfortable with the
status quo-- would the video you just made
encourage you to push aside your comforting
illusions and learn the liberating truth? If
not, try again.
Identify yourself. Anonymity is for criminals and self-doubters, not
CtC
warriors. Naming yourself is a requirement, and your
name will appear as a subtitle on the video when I
prepare it for posting, in any event.
Mention what you do for a living, whether
you're a doctor, homemaker, lawyer, trucker, IT guy
or gal, retiree or student. Help people understand
that the company of grown-up activist Americans they
are being invited to join cuts across all demographics
and all interests-- with the common denominator being
respect for the law and love of the principles on which
this great country was founded.
This is your chance to get a LOT accomplished.
We've all had frustrating occasions of
trying to explain all this to a friend, neighbor, family
member or co-worker, only to pile up against the wall
of a mind not yet ready to listen and learn. Here is
your chance to address a self-selected audience of folks
who have themselves decided that it's time for them
to begin paying attention, and have clicked on your
testimonial for exactly that reason.
Further, think about this: You want judges,
bureaucrats, CPAs, lawyers, the HR people where you
work, your pastors, your neighbors and everyone else
to acknowledge the truth about the tax openly and straightforwardly.
How and why would these folks do this if YOU won't?
You want these folks to learn the truth.
Why would they even recognize that there is a truth
to be learned if you won't attest to having learned
it yourself? You've got to stand up, face forward and
chin up and tell these folks that you have studied and
checked and verified and seen the evidence and seen
the government evasions and you know that the tax is
not the capitation that the beneficiary government wants
everyone to think it is but a benign, strictly limited
thing, and that they need to study and learn that, too.
Again, if you have victories to show, that's
nice, and powerful, too. But you don't have to have
victories to display in order to declare your knowledge
of what the law says. I've never flown around the world,
but I've seen the evidence and considered the arguments,
and I'm not hesitant to declare it a sphere...
Even those of you who haven't yet studied
CtC have surely read
this short document, and have verified everything
in it for yourself. You should therefore be declaring
its veracity and its message, loud and proud. Again,
if you won't say it, how can you hope that others will
ever even bother to look at the facts?
Be the change you want to see in the world,
or there won't be any change.
So, please make and send those videos
right away! You can share them with me via a cloud-based
drive space like OneDrive.Live.com or GoogleDrive
(if you do GoogleDrive you MUST give access permission to stategroups@losthorizons.com), or
mail DVDs to me at 232 Oriole St., Commerce Twp., Michigan
48382, or even email to me if each file is no more than
20 megs (and you can break a video up if need be-- I
can reassemble them). Render as .mpg or mp4, if possible;
if not, send them how you have them and I'll make them
work.
BTW: An encouraging and inspiring
video will earn you access to the restricted pages
on losthorizons.com and membership in the National
Forum if you have also sent me a recent educated
federal filing and IRS response (or relevant
"return" or "account" transcript). I will be the
judge of whether your submissions qualify
for access, but if you do your best you should do
fine.
Remember, the restoration of institutional
respect for individual rights and the rule of law depends
on enough individuals insisting upon it. Do your part
to let those starting to rub the sleep from their eyes
know that there is a community already waiting for their
fellowship with open arms and open hearts and shining
spirits.
See how some of your fellow warriors for
the truth have done their parts in videos sent over
the years, many of which are posted
here.

Getting Free Of The "Income" Tax Scheme Is As Easy As
Falling Off A Bike
To get an idea of how today's "income" tax scheme works,
try this little exercise:
Think of the federal government as a guy named Bob,
who lives down the street from you in a town that is
really big on bicycles. Bikes get used for commuting,
deliveries, shopping, etc.. In fact, other than walking,
bicycles are the exclusive form of transportation in
your town.
Your neighbor Bob has a by-the-mile bicycle-renting
business-- "Bob's Bicycles". Bob's Bicycles is far and
away the biggest business in town.
Part of Bob’s success is because he does a lot of contract
business. However, Bob doesn't just get paid by riders
who have signed an agreement with him, or even just
those using Bob's bikes. Bob gets something every time
anybody in town does any riding at all, through an odd
combination of circumstances that took many years to
come together.
Here's how it happened...
Bob's Bicycles was launched long ago by the great grandfather
of the present Bob (Bob IV). Great Grandpa Bob started
out not only with a main location for his contract business--
he also had the bright idea of setting up spots around
town where he parked some of his bikes for use by the
more occasional rider, on an "honor system". Anyone
could take and use one of these bikes, but they were
expected to keep track of their mileage, and send Bob
a "1040 Mileage Ridden/Rent Due Form" (and the appropriate
rent), periodically. The initial design of the form
was like this:
I, ______________,
rode a Bob's Bicycle a total of _____ miles
this year.
At Bob's rental
rate of $.15 per mile, I owe Bob $______
I said that Great Grandpa Bob planned to deal with these
occasional riders on the "honor system", and that's
true. But he liked his money, too, and didn't want to
miss anything that was due him. So, after setting up
the "self-serve" locations, Great Grandpa Bob went around
handing out "W-2, 1099 or K-1 Rider Reporting Forms"
to every other business in town. The forms-- accompanied
by notices that if Bob didn't get his rent from someone
riding a bicycle in connection with any business, he
would sue the company involved-- said:
You Can’t Fight Well When You Don’t Know
What You’re Fighting About
If you are having an argument
with the IRS or any other tax agency,
You are NOT being presumed to have made “corporate
profit”.
You are NOT being alleged to have received “foreign
income”.
You are NOT entangled in an invisible “adhesion
contract”.
You are NOT being obligated by a law whose subject
is never identified.
You are being targeted because REAL EVIDENCE exists
that YOU PERSONALLY HAD “INCOME” to which the revenue laws apply--
even though that evidence is almost certainly incorrect,
and CAN be corrected.

Doing A Little High-Payoff Math
IF EACH PERSON receiving this newsletter each week distributed as
few as 100 of any of
the great outreach tools featured here to co-workers, friends,
neighbors and family members (or just strangers on the street, in
the mall, etc...), we could have SEVERAL MILLION new Americans
suddenly introduced to the liberating truth about the tax!
Just like that! In one week!
C'mon, people, let's roll on this!
“Most of the important things in the
world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when
there seemed to be no hope at all.”
When directed to a page by topic or link, read everything.
I know that this can mean the investment of a lot of time, attention
and effort, but although some may imagine otherwise, I don't write
as much as I do because I can't think of any other way to spend
my time...
Furthermore, when you encounter a hyperlink within, or associated
with, the text you are reading, follow it!
It is pretty common these days for web-based material to be littered
with hyperlinks. Sometimes the purpose is to provide definitions
or examples, in order to ensure that folks reading the original
material aren't presented with a word or reference which they don't
understand. Sometimes the links lead to illustrations pertinent
to the original text.
It is common-- and perfectly understandable-- for folks who are
confident that they are familiar with language or references within
the main text they are reading to get in the habit of skipping over
included links. I do it all the time, myself!
However, I very rarely include links for definitional or explanatory
purposes; and when I DO make a link out of text in one page it is
generally to another self-contained page, rather than merely illustrative
material. These other pages contain material the clear understanding
of which I deem highly important for the proper and complete understanding
of the original page. (Links to
CtC, the
Victories pages,
CtC Warriors and so on are obvious exceptions to this general
rule. On the other hand, a link to the victory
Highlights or 'Every
Which Way But Loose' pages, which might seem like such exceptions,
are not. The special selection of victories on those pages, and
the filed docs and tax-agency correspondences included therewith,
themselves constitute highly instructive material which merits careful
attention. Thus care needs to be taken in all cases.)
Please make a habit of clicking on all provided links and at least
looking briefly to ensure that the linked page is one with which
you are completely familiar from another study session.
Finally, please keep in mind that, annoying though it may seem at
first blush (but not, I trust, upon reflection), I constantly tweak
material already posted. Obviously this doesn't mean that every
page is in flux at all times, but it does mean that if you are directed
to a page that IS familiar, it's worthwhile to read it through again
if it's been a while since your last having done so.
March 30- In 1842, anesthesia is used for the first time in a
surgical operation. In 1858, a pencil with an attached eraser is patented. In
1867, the United States buys Alaska from Russia for 2 cents per acre. (Of
course, 2 cents was worth a good deal more then than it is now...) In 1909,
the Queensboro Bridge between Manhattan and Queens opens for traffic. In 1939,
the Heinkel HE 100 sets a world airspeed record of 463 mph. In 1981, Ronald
Reagan is shot by John Hinkley.
Anniversaries of interest for
each day of this week will be found throughout the newsletter mid-edition update
below.
Btw, a copy of
CtC from anywhere except the link above
may not be a current edition. CHECK. It
matters. Also, there ARE no e-book, Kindle
or .pdf versions of
CtC. Don't get taken in by efforts to
sell you-- or even give you for free-- any
such thing.

Illuminating anniversaries of this week:
March 31- In 1774, Great Britain orders the port of
Boston closed in response to the Boston Tea Party. In 1889, the Eiffel
Tower is inaugurated. In 1917, the United States buys the Danish West
Indies for $25 million and renames them the United States Virgin
Islands. In 1918, Daylight Saving Time debuts. In 1933, the FDR's
Civilian Conservation Corps boondoggle is established as a measure to
relieve unemployment brought about by the Fed-generated economic
collapse known as the Great Depression. It fails miserably. Programs
of this very sort interfered with the economic correction necessary to
end the depression and merely prolonged the calamity, leaving the
unemployment rate largely unchanged (it remained as high as 15% in 1937
while the boondoggle make-work jobs continued, and jumped back up to 19%
in 1938 when some of the artificial "New Deal" props like the CCC
program were cut back), but adding greatly to the size and lawlessness
of the State. In 1951, the first UNIVAC 1 is delivered to the United
States Census Bureau. In 1968, President Lyndon Johnson announces that
he will not run for re-election.

Illuminating anniversaries of this week:
April 1- In 1826, Samuel Morey patents
an internal combustion engine. In 1867, Singapore becomes a British colony. In
1924, Adolph Hitler is sentenced to prison for his participation in the "Beer
Hall Putsch" (where he proceeds to write 'Mein Kampf"). In 1945, U.S. troops
land on Okinawa in the start of the last campaign in World War II. In 1967, the
United States DOT begins operations. In 1976, Apple Computer is founded. In
1979, 98% of Iranian voters support the overthrow of the U.S.-installed monarchy
of the Shah and transforming the country into an Islamic Republic. In 2001 the
Netherlands legalizes same-sex marriage; in 2002, it does the same for
euthanasia.
An old joke, but in regard to this deceiver,
not a laughing matter at all.

becomes the first European known to have set foot in Florida. In 1792, the
Coinage Act is passed, establishing the U.S. Mint. In 1902, the first full-time
commercial movie theater opens in Los Angeles. In 1917, Wilson asks Congress
for a declaration of war on Germany; and the first woman elected to the U.S.
Congress takes her seat as a representative from Montana. In 1972, Charlie
Chaplin returns to the USA for the first time since being labeled a communist
during the "red scare" on the 1950s. In 1975, the CN Tower in Toronto becomes
(for the moment) the world's tallest free-standing structure at 1,815.4 feet.

Union forces capture Richmond, Virginia. In 1882, Jesse James is killed by
Robert Ford. In 1917, V. I. Lenin arrives in Russia to take charge of the
revolution after years in exile. In 1922, Joseph Stalin becomes General
Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. In 1936, Bruno Hauptman
is executed for the kidnap and murder of Charles Lindbergh's son. In 1968,
Martin Luther King, Jr. delivers his, "I have been to the mountaintop," speech.
In 1973, the first wireless cell-phone call is made. In 1974, 148 tornadoes
strike across the USA and in Ontario, Canada over 24 hours-- the largest such
outbreak ever recorded. In 1986, IBM unveils its first laptop computer. In
1996, a plane carrying US Secretary of Commerce Ron Brown strikes a mountain in
Croatia, leaving no survivors. In 2000, Microsoft is the victim of an
"antitrust lawsuit" ruling by a federal court, which effectively declares the
company to be "too big to succeed". Microsoft had been notable prior to this
time for its disengagement from contact with or pandering to the political
class.
April 4- In 1581, Francis Drake
completes a trip around the world and becomes SIR Francis Drake. In 1818, the
US Congress adopts the Flag of the United States-- 13 red and white stripes and
(then) 20 stars. In 1841, President William Henry Harrison dies of pneumonia
after only 32 days in office. In 1949, NATO comes into being. In 1968, Martin
Luther King Jr. is assassinated in Memphis, Tennessee. In 1973, the World Trade
Center is dedicated. In 1975, Microsoft is founded. In 2008, 543 women and
children are kidnapped from their communal home in rural Texas by an armed gang
operating under the auspices of state authority purportedly in response to
sincere concerns for the well-being of the children after an anonymous complaint
of child abuse. This was later found to have been a bogus pretext by both a
Texas Court of Appeals and the Texas Supreme Court. It is virtually certain
that the real reason for the concocted raid was bureaucratic and political
antipathy toward the religious views of the 700 or so residents of the
community, who, as fundamentalist Mormons are outside the "mainstream" and thus
fair game for abuse in the minds of statists. After two months imprisonment,
the 401 children and 133 women were turned loose. All in all, the abusive
assault cost the citizens of Texas at least $14 million, as well as a good deal
of self-respect. The costs borne by the victims are impossible to calculate.
CtC WARRIOR SanDiegoScott has put together

regarding the United States "income" tax. Test yourself, test your
friends and family! Test your accountant and tax attorney, and help
them learn the liberating truth!!
"Never must thou take up a false cry, or join hands
with the guilty by giving false witness in their favor. Never must
thou follow with the crowd in doing wrong, or be swayed by many
voices so as to give false judgment; even pity for the poor must
not sway thee when judgment is to be given."

April 5- In 1614, Pocahontas marries
John Rolfe. In 1792, the first presidential veto is exercised by George
Washington. In 1930, Gandhi marches to the sea. In 1933, Franklin Roosevelt
signs an executive order purporting to ban the "hoarding of gold" by U.S.
citizens, and requiring the surrender of nearly all privately-held gold to the
United States. Needless to say, a mere executive order lacks the actual force
of law of a general nature, and this remains true even despite Congressional
pretensions of having delegated the authority to the Executive under actual
legislation, such as the 'Trading with the Enemy Act'. Nonetheless, most
Americans divested themselves of their gold under the threat of imprisonment
accompanying the pretense. Only one prosecution was ever attempted under the
order, and it was subsequently ruled invalid by the federal district judge
overseeing the case. In 1951, Julius and Ethel Rosenberg are sentenced to death
after being convicted of espionage for giving nuclear secrets to the Soviet
Union. In 1955, Winston Churchill resigns as Prime Minister of Great Britain.
