June 15- In 1215, King John (who had imposed Britain's first
income tax), is forced at sword-point to put his seal to the Magna Carta and
subordinate himself to the rule of law. John repudiates his act as soon as the
forces that had brought him to heel leave town, and Pope Innocent II steps in to
annul the "shameful and demeaning agreement, forced upon the King by violence
and fear". John dies during the subsequent civil war. In 1752, Benjamin
Franklin proves that lightning is electricity. In 1775, George Washington is
appointed commander of the Continental Army. In 1836, Arkansas is admitted to
the union as the 25th of the several states. In 1844, Charles Goodyear receives
a patent for vulcanization of rubber. In 1911, the Tabulating Computing
Recording Corporation is founded. (It later changed its name to IBM.) In 1916,
President Woodrow Wilson signs a bill incorporating the Boy Scouts of America,
making them the only American youth organization with a federal charter.

And, HEY, II! Please don't just
read what I post here (or anywhere), and nod your head sagely or
approvingly and then move on to other things. I don't post in order
to affirm your sense of things. I post in order to equip you with
perspectives and arguments with which to
educate others, and in the
expectation that you will forward my posts to other people (or
direct them to those posts). PLEASE do those things.
We won't win by YOU knowing what I
present. We will win by LOTS OF OTHERS knowing what I present.
How Stupid Do They Think We Are?
Pretty stupid, indeed, it would seem, as the C19
panic-mongering begins anew...
HERE IS THE QUESTION OF THE MONTH (because its aptness will
not fade until at least July...): How stupid do the stenographers-for-the-state at Associated
Press and the other MSM outlets think we are?
This past Friday, every such outlet
featured one or another version of, "Alarming rise in virus cases as
states roll back lockdowns" (for instance,
this).
Are we supposed to be so stupid as to not realize that a rise in the
number of "cases" just reflects a rise in testing?
Are we
supposed to have forgotten that millions of Americans were infected all
the way back in January and February (as
shown here),
and therefore more tests will of course reveal more infections?
But more
importantly, are we supposed to be so stupid as to not realize that more
revealed infections in no way means more danger from the virus? Instead
this "more case" revelation just emphasizes the harmlessness of the
virus.
The "more case" revelation just emphasizes the fact that
the virus has been circulating continuously for more than half a
year now throughout huge swaths of the population. That, in turn,
underscores the fact that despite continuous circulation throughout huge
swaths of the population the virus has only produced a fatality rate on
the low end of typical for the standard flu--
if even that-- and
from the same demographic that would have been succumbing to this year's
standard flu anyway, if not one of the other co-morbidities with which
most were afflicted.
THERE IS NO CRISIS. There never was. A rise in virus cases
as states roll back lockdowns won't mean a crisis in the future, either,
and an uptick in hospitalizations is just more of the pearl-clutching
over-reaction that has been going on for months. Neither are alarming.
What IS alarming is that the possibility that this
latest effort to suck Americans into persistent panic so the
incompetence or crimes of those responsible for the still-ongoing
destruction of liberty and the rule of law will be overlooked or
forgiven.
Don't let it happen.
The best way to do that (and to protect us all from another
round of hammering on the rule of law and the health of our tottering
economy) is to GO ON OFFENSE (that always being the best thing to do
against political villains anyway...). I have given you the tools to do
so, here (and among
them is now a Liberty And Accountability Key for Georgia, along with the
others).
Use them, please.
Share them, please.
All governments are run by liars and nothing they say
should be believed."
...in the interest of keeping the activism on point.
I'VE BEEN DISTURBED TO SEE much of the punditry and social
media dialogue regarding the Floyd murder morph into a "racism"
complaint/discussion. I suspect that such punditry and dialogue-steering
is a deliberate effort to divert attention from the real issue, which,
as I said last week,
is the institutionalized unaccountability of government actors.
This is not to say that there is no racism rearing
its ugly head now and then in police departments and elsewhere. Surely,
there is.
But the real issue in George Floyd's murder is that even
though indefensible in any rational mind, and even though having been
committed in broad daylight, in front of many witnesses, and even caught
on film, everyone knows that the odds of the smiling and casual killer
and his loitering accomplices getting thrown in prison for a long, long
time, are minimal, at best. And everyone who thinks about it knows that
this is NOT because George Floyd was black, but is because a
judicially-invented concept called "official immunity" (in most
discussions referred to as "qualified immunity" as regards the actions
of police) will be raised to shield Floyd's killers from accountability.
It is that perfectly-predictable injustice that is driving
the outrage of the arisen community (or was to begin with, until the
arising and the anger driving it was co-opted by narrative-managers and
opportunists).
And it is that perfectly-predictable injustice on which the
ongoing punditry, dialoguing and activism should focus.
OVER THE COURSE OF THE LAST TEN YEARS, the
institutionalized-unaccountability which protestors expect to see in the
Floyd case has been pulled more and more into the light of day by
similar incidents of largely-similar egregiousness. Indeed, the
commonplace character of the anger-inducing unaccountability is
pointedly demonstrated by the casualness with which Derek Chauvin and
his accomplices acted.
There doesn't appear to have been a moment's concern on the
part of any of these perps about perhaps going too far, save only one
brief expression by one of the cops looking on, quickly abandoned. This
kind of behavior doesn't manifest except where the actors have not the
slightest reason for caution grounded in their past experience and their
institutionally-imbued expectations.
In fact, I think it is the utterness and obviousness of
Derek Chauvin's manifest certainty that no repercussions threaten him
personally for his behavior that made this particular police killing the
offense that prompted a nation-wide protest where previous
equally-indefensible "official" crimes have not. Unlike in those other
ugly crimes, the evil specter of "immunity" boldly unveiled itself in
Minneapolis.
Chauvin as much as mouths to the horrified onlookers,
"Watch me all you want, shout at me all you want. I'm going to do as I
please and not give it a second thought. I'm untouchable." The three
uniformed police officers who stand by without intervening emphasize the
soundness of Chauvin's perspective.
Who can be surprised that protests erupted? It would have
been shocking and deeply disturbing had they not.
Indeed, every American should be proud and delighted that a
notably-sized cadre of their fellows arose to condemn the outrage of
"immunity" informing Derek Chauvin's casual crime.
SADLY, THOUGH, THE LOOTING AND SIMPLE THUGGERY
opportunistically accompanying the protests have tainted the righteous
activism. Just as unfortunately, that righteous activism has also been
tainted by the efforts of various organizations to co-opt its energy and
visibility on behalf of their institutional interests-- most
prominently, "Black Lives Matter, Inc." (and most hypocritically, the
Democratic Party, whose operatives and adherents have presided over 50%
of police-state-Leviathan's growth just as Republican Party operatives
and adherents have presided over the other 50%, and which notoriously
and undeniably has taken black political support for granted for
decades, nonetheless).
Such efforts are frauds and anyone buying into them is a
fool.
Is it to be doubted that had George Floyd been one of the
even greater number of white men killed each year by police than black
men, for instance, but all else went down the same way otherwise, that
the same outrage and the same initial protests would have erupted (or
would have been fitting)? I should hope not.
The sole difference in the protest aftermath in that
hypothetical would have been its immunity (pardon the expression) to
co-option and diversion by the false (or at least, irrelevant) charge of
"racism" from the real root of the real problem-- the
judicially-invented,
Constitution-defying doctrine of "official immunity".
I urge everyone to become a force of re-centering. Denounce
the co-opting opportunists (just as you denounce the rampaging looters
and thugs), and the the false narratives. Help keep the focus where it
belongs-- on the law-defying judicial deference to the interests of the
burgeoning police state in defying the law with impunity known as
"immunity".
***
BTW, I HEARD TODAY THAT DEREK CHAUVIN is going to receive
his $50,000-per-year pension even if convicted of the murder of George
Floyd and parked in prison for the rest of his life. Criminal
convictions don't affect that benefit, it is reported.
Heck of a union contract, yes?
When I heard this I had to wonder if there was an exception
in that contract for, say, a conviction for embezzling from the police
pension fund? Just kidding...
As appropriate as such an embezzlement exception would seem
to be, I'm sure no one would have thought to include it. Doing so would
have been so "off message", right?
SERIOUSLY, THOUGH, HOW ABOUT THIS for a proper municipal
union contract provision: A worker's pension gets reduced by whatever
amount the city for which he worked has to pay for legally-determined
malfeasance, whether in settlements to victims, the city's legal bills,
or whatever.
There is much proper harmony in such a notion, I think.
Further, such a balance of cause and effect would not only
be harmonious. It would also operate as a much-needed deterrent against
recklessness, negligence or malice-- the only things for which a worker
could be personally found responsible for the losses to the city.
Negligence, recklessness and malice should all be viewed as
utterly intolerable in the first place. Thus, making the people of the
city whole to as much a degree as possible by the expedient of reducing
the compensation (deferred as a pension or otherwise) to the one
responsible could only be seen as justice.
By the same token the notion that citizens of the city
should be compelled to pay benefits to someone who has cost them money
for his bad behavior-- behavior conducted in their name, and which
therefore damages their reputation-- is crazy. This is especially true
when the malfeasance has terrorized the citizenry personally and
diminished their quality of life-- such as where a rogue cop has
unlawfully killed someone walking among them.

I WAS PLEASED TO COME ACROSS this excellent video
presentation in an article I was reading the other day. It's well
worth the six-and-a-half minutes, doing a lot to help explain some of
the crazy responses by some to the George Floyd killing which,
regardless of anything which may or not be true about Floyd or his past,
was completely wrong and indefensible in every way:
***
FINALLY, let me end by pointing out the unique opportunity
for memorable and meaningful expression offered to the
CtC-educated
community by the protest response to the George Floyd murder, and by
encouraging everyone to make good use of opportunity-- right away, while
it is hot:

creative self in sending and "selling" these links. Do memes; make

If you pay attention to the news and train yourself to
apply these perspectives, you will see a dozen things of which you
can make use in awakening other Americans to the virtues of having
the income tax correctly administered. Please, for my sake, for your
own sake, for the sake of your children and their future, make that
use.

Still Timely: Not Letting This "Crisis" Go To Waste...
...an important action item opportunity.
FRIENDS, THE BIT OF EASING of the despotic measures to
which most of the country has been subjected this spring should not be
allowed to bleed off the head of steam you probably had been developing.
The offenses happened, and they're far from over. Stay hot.
And while you are all warmed up, and while others, if
they're smart, are just as hot, I'd like you to send an email (and
Facebook post, or whatever) with the following content to everyone you
can (with a request that they pass it along, in turn):
[Name], over the last several months you've
watched as over-fed state power has been used to literally destroy
classical Western civilization and impose a new despotic paradigm. No
dissent or debate permitted-- no permission or agreement sought.
YOU KNOW where this will end up if the arrogant
state power being used to make this happen isn't radically diminished in
size, influence, resources and popular support, and exposed as an
opportunistic exploiter of legal ignorance (an ignorance which it has
been nurturing in the average mind for decades).
Those things having not yet happened, you
should be quaking in your boots-- and you probably are.
Isn't it time-- and past time-- for you to
begin helping to make those desperately-needed defensive changes take
place? There is only one way these things can happen short of a
who-knows-what we'll-end-up-with explosion of violence. I'm going to
show it to you.
When you're done with that reading, you'll know
what to do next.
BTW, REMEMBER, ALSO, THAT EVERY AMERICAN has lately been given a stark lesson in the fact
that government officials at all levels will lie to you and violate the
law without batting an eye. They will do so any time it serves their agenda, and
you don't call them out for it.
If you know anyone who has been persisting in denial on the
truth about the income tax, you know such nonsense is usually be
grounded in some version or another of, "That can't be true..." or "They
would never do something like that...". Now's the time to put a pin in
that delusional bubble.
As the C19 hoax has starkly shown, "that" certainly CAN be true, and they
certainly WOULD do something
like that.
Use this evidence in all your
outreach efforts.

citizen from falling into error; it is the function of the citizen to

(Deceitful efforts to discourage Americans from
learning the truth about the "income tax")
FOR ALL THE YEARS SINCE 2003 when
CtC was first published, the government has engaged in a
concerted effort to frighten people away from its truths. This
effort involves official government websites and press releases
touting an occasional court ruling that appears to be at odds
with some
CtC-revelation (but without details sufficient to expose the
real substance of the ruling)--
and sometimes even more mendacious behavior.
Are the presentations and

But of course, no one IS obligated. I will continue

Thus, even though I post it here below, Tim's very

No one is to feel any pressure from it; if it moves anyone to
act let it be solely because it seems right.
A Good Man Urges Americans To Put On Their Big
Boy And Big Girl Pants
Forrest Voss in Texas tells it like it is, and
everyone should pay heed.
TEXAS WARRIOR FORREST VOSS included me in the distribution
of his reach-out-and-grab-by-the-lapels effort, below. I'm very pleased
to be able to share it with all of you, in hope that it will inspire
more of the same.
Long or short, eloquent or simple, it doesn't matter-- what
matters is getting the stuff out there. Here's how Forrest did that for
his part (under the subject line, "I have had enough!", and with
The Texas Liberty And Accountability Key
attached):
To my esteemed family, friends, colleagues,
acquaintances, representatives in congress, media moguls, and whomever
else I can think of to send this to:
Enough is enough! The lunacy taking over this
country and the world is absolutely astounding. It is time to grow up
and start using our God given brains for more than hat racks. It is
time to start using some Common Sense and Common Courtesy, two very rare
commodities these days, which, if brought back in good measure would fix
a lot of problems the world is dealing with right now I will try to
keep this as short as possible, so here are the bullet points:
1. You can live in fear or you can live in
faith, but you CANNOT DO BOTH.
2. Eventually we are ALL going to DIE from
something, it is a part of life, get used to the idea.
3. If you think wearing your flimsy little
mask is keeping you safe in public, THINK AGAIN! Ever see the chem
suits lab technicians wear when working with (you guessed it) VIRUSES!
Your puny little face covering is not going to save you, or anyone
else. In a 60 Minutes interview, even fascist Fauci said wearing a mask
in public is practically useless (then changed his tune a few weeks
later). If you are sick (or think you might be) STAY HOME! Common
Sense 101. Do you not realize how many viruses, bacteria, pollutants,
poisons, etc., you breathe in every day? Yet you are not SICK? It's a
MIRACLE! That's right, you are a miracle in motion with an immune
system designed to protect you from foreign invaders. If you are immuno-compromised,
you are in trouble, whether from Covid 19 or ANY OTHER OPPORTUNISTIC
FOREIGN AGENT! Most, if not ALL of us have already been exposed to
Covid 19, and most do not come down with any symptoms. Of those who are
symptomatic, the very small percentage that incur further complications
leading to death is about the same as a bad year for the flu virus(es).
Yet we don't go to this extreme neurotic behavior for flu!!! Nosocomial
infections (hospital induced) and Iatrogenic diseases (doctor induced)
together cause over 500,000 deaths per year in America alone, yet you
did not boycott the hospitals or shun your doctors before this scamdemic
(plandemic, damndemic, it's all the same) hit.
4. We are supposed to be AMERICANS! We the
People are the SOVEREIGNS (look up that word in the dictionary if you
have forgotten what it means) and our so-called government is OUR PUBLIC
SERVANT! We get to call the shots. There is NO PROVISION, WHATSOEVER,
in any of our constitutions, federal or state, that gives our public
servants carte blanche authority to shut down our businesses or lock us
down in our homes for ANY REASON WHATSOEVER, even in any so-called or
so-declared disaster or emergency. Look it up in your own state
constitution. If you are a business owner and have been harmed by
"executive orders," it is time to get your big boy/girl pants on and
sue the government for damages. The attachment to this email will help
(this key is for Texas, but your state constitution will have same or
similar wording, just look up the differing articles and sections).
Understand that the struggle for control of the masses has historically
been between church and state, and many times in collusion, for the SOLE
PURPOSE of TRANSFERRING THE WEALTH from the masses into their pockets.
I spent ten years of the prime of my life in military service for the
cause of LIBERTY, I'll be damned if I'm going to start living like a
slave now! "A nation of sheep will beget a government of wolves."
Edward R. Murrow
5. One of President Trump's campaign promises
was to "drain the swamp." Pretty hard to do if you keep pumping it full
of water, which is exactly what you are doing if you labor in a job of
common right NOT associated with ANY federal benefit or privilege, ANY
federal excise taxable activity, utilizing any federal property, nor are
employed in any capacity in the federal government, and are still paying
the federal income tax. FEDERAL INCOME should give you a clue as to
what is legally taxable by the federal government. Go to
losthorizons.com, get
the book Cracking the Code: The Fascinating Truth About Taxation in
America by Peter Hendrickson, read the articles on the website, dig a
little into the origin, history, supreme court decisions, etc. regarding
the federal income tax, then do the right thing and stop feeding the
ever-growing Leviathan state. We have CREATOR ENDOWED UNALIENABLE
RIGHTS, but only as long we understand that we must ACCEPT THE
RESPONSIBILITIES TO ENSURE THOSE RIGHTS! That means to "know the law
and be well disposed to use it." Get off your lazy, couch potato,
spoiled, privileged, fried chicken eatin' American asses and READ! Then
ACT! The more people that ACT on the TRUTH, the sooner we can get back
to the Great Republic this country used to be. If you don't, re-read
bullet number 4 above.
“Knowledge will forever govern ignorance; and a
people who mean to be their own governors must arm themselves with the
power which knowledge gives.”
-James Madison
6. RACISM...and the idiocy produced as a
result. I don't care who you THINK you are, how rich, how famous, how
infamous, how talented, how smart, how good looking, what color, what
sex, what belief system, what politics, what religion, how educated,
where you grew up, who you know, how privileged, what job you have
(including President of the United States of America), etc., while those
things might make you BETTER OFF, they surely DO NOT MAKE YOU BETTER
THAN any other living human being on this planet. And the sooner you
realize that and start treating ALL people with love, honor and respect,
and realize we are all endowed by our Creator with certain UNALIENABLE
rights, among those the right to LIFE, LIBERTY AND THE PURSUIT OF
HAPPINESS, and that if you want to partake of those rights, you MUST
also respect the same rights for everyone else, including the person
cleaning your toilet, the faster we can heal our homes, neighborhoods,
communities, cities, counties, states, and yes, the whole world. NO
ONE, not even government, has the RIGHT to INITIATE the use of force,
but EVERYONE has the ABSOLUTE RIGHT to DEFEND themselves in any and
every way possible from those who violate that prohibition. And if you
have a family, that becomes more than a right, it is a DUTY to protect.
Get off your high horse, you ain't all that and a bag of chips, NONE of
us are. We are all DIFFERENT, that fact DOES NOT MAKE ANY OF US BETTER.
We are all human, prone to weaknesses and mistakes, with the inward
capacity to do great good...or great evil as history has shown. That is
a choice you must make every single waking moment of every single day of
your short, pathetic miserable life. Just STOP THE INSANITY!
For most of the people receiving this whom I
know personally, I realize I am "preaching to the choir." But please,
if you agree, heck, even if you don't, send it to everyone on your
contact list(s) and urge them to do the same. We need as many people to
jump on the Common Sense and Common Courtesy bandwagon as soon as
possible in order to get out of this Twilight Zone and back to reality.
Also, please forgive me for using the somewhat sarcastic and twisted
bits of attempted humor from a frustrated, opinionated, grumpy, grouchy
old fart trying to motivate more people into action. Sometimes it takes
more than a "hey, come on, let's get going," like a sharp poke in the
eye (metaphorically speaking). Realize the spirit and intent behind it
and don't take it personally (unless, of course, the shoe fits, lol).
Humbly submitted with much love, honor and
respect to and for you all,
Forrest William Voss
FORREST PEGS IT, as he so often does. There is a looming
question right now of whether this American experiment of a state
subordinated to the primacy of individual liberty and the rule of law
begun by the Founders 244 years ago will survive, or will go out like a
candle starved for oxygen.
It's up to you, my friends.
If you put more value in what you imagine to be the
personal safety to be had by acquiescing to the masks and the
"distancing" and being tracked, and to the restrictions on your movement
and your management of your own life and business, and to the egregious
violations of state and national Constitutions by which you are being
threatened if you resist these things, than you do in the principles of
the American experiment, it will die. This year. Before your very eyes.
No joke.
And though it doesn't matter, you will also get nothing
good for doing that acquiescing. There really is nothing meaningful from
which any of it will protect you, since C19 is just a typical
coronavirus such as we have handled without any of these impositions
every year for all of human history, and less dangerous than many of
them.
YOU ARE BEING PLAYED, those of you that are acquiescing to
the
hobgoblin-floggers. As Forrest says, pull on your big-boy and big-girl pants and
stand up like real Americans.
Only idiots and children would let the enduring blessings
of liberty and the rule of law slip away from them and their posterity
in order to protect themselves from a transient hazard, even if it WAS a
truly dire threat.
Grow up.
If a foreign enemy invaded these shores to
impose tracking and to dictate who gets to work or operate a business
and who doesn't, and whether or not you can go to church, or to a
political rally, or even just to a football game, you would put your
life on the line in a heartbeat, braving bombs and bullets repelling such tyranny.
Are you
seriously going to huddle at home and not repel that same tyranny when all
you risk is contact with a bug? Especially a bug sporting nothing but
an insignificant case fatality
rate, which leaves 80-90% of infected individuals not even knowing they've
had it?!
Grow up. Then get loud and start calling out the bad guys.
You can find Liberty And Accountability Keys for Michigan,
Texas, Virginia, Kentucky, Wyoming and now Georgia

among these six.

SKEPTICISM (SOMETIMES INVOKED BY FEAR) IS TO BE
EXPECTED when you're trying to explain to someone that
everything they've been encouraged their whole lives to
believe about something as entrenched and significant as the
income tax is basically nonsense. So here's a way to help
cut through the resistance:
Ask your listener how he or she would react if
you were to show an announcement from the Commissioner of
Internal Revenue admitting that the tax doesn't apply to the
earnings of most Americans and is misapplied most of the
time because people don't understand how it works? Or how
about if you showed a ruling from the Supreme Court saying
the same?
Now you just have to explain that
you're going to show exactly those things-- but because
the state really doesn't want people to know this, these
things haven't been said quite as forthrightly as we would
all wish. It's going to take a bit more work to take these
admissions in than is sufficient for just reading a press
release. But it'll be worth the effort...

Under Four Presidents, The Feds Neglected Duty
To Collect Statistics On Police Killings
Why has the Justice Department (sic) failed to follow a law
from 1994?
by James Bovard
The brutal killing of George Floyd by Minneapolis
police has been condemned by former Presidents
Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama. However, police violence
spiraled out of control in part because each of those presidents failed to obey
a law compelling the feds to track police killings around the nation.
In 1994, Congress enacted the
Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act, which boosted
subsidies for local and state law enforcement. The bill also required
the attorney general to “acquire data about the use of excessive force
by law enforcement officers” across the nation and to “publish an annual
summary of the data acquired.” Congress effectively ordered the Justice
Department to document how often police kill unarmed private citizens.
Two years later,
a Justice
Department report raised the white flag: “Systematically collecting
information on use of force from the nation's more than 17,000 law
enforcement agencies is difficult given ... the sensitivity of the
issue.”
Instead of requiring local and state law
enforcement agencies to comply with the new federal law, the Justice
Department expanded its "police-public contact survey" to ask "a series
of questions about the use of both appropriate and inappropriate force
during police-civilian encounters."
Yet as professor James Fyfe, one of the
nation’s foremost experts on police shootings, observed, “Since dead
people can’t participate in such a survey, this work tells us nothing
about
how often police kill.”
Seven years after the 1994 crime bill was
enacted, the Justice Department issued a report that effectively
presumed that anyone who was gunned down by police deserved to die. "Policing
and Homicide, 1976–1998: Justifiable Homicide by Police, Police
Officers Murdered by Felons" labeled everyone in the nation who perished
as a result of a police shooting as “felons justifiably killed by
police.” There were hundreds, if not thousands, of people shot
unjustifiably by the police in those decades, but their innocence
vanished in a copy-editing flick.
The Justice Department was so embarrassed by
the report’s “lack of distinction
between justifiable police shootings and murders, that it did not
send out its usual promotional material announcing the report,”
according to The New York Times.
YOU'VE GOT TO BE IMPRESSED BY THE SHAMELESSNESS of whoever it was
at the "Justice" Department who chose to explain its defiance of the 1994
mandate to gather and publish stats on police killings of civilians in America
by reference to "the sensitivity of the issue." Where do these government
agencies find their sociopaths?
Or perhaps they aren't "found". Maybe they just arise
spontaneously as what may have been starry-eyed new hires come to
Washington to do good steep for a few years in the toxic environment of
the swamp in which they find themselves.
Just in case that particular nutcase is reading, let me
explain: It is the "sensitivity" of the issue TO US that is the reason
why we want you to collect and publish the stats. The sensitivity of the
police departments doing the killing is irrelevant.
Further, of course, (and hardly needing to be said), the
very degree to which people like you, "Justice" Department spokesperson,
and the police departments whose "sensitivities" you are so eager to
protect even in defiance of our explicit command to you suggests that
the withheld data is of great import and will be of very great interest
to us.
INDEED, THE FAILURE OF THE "JUSTICE" Department to obey the
law (and of four presidents to see to it that it is obeyed) makes me
want to have another law passed (just for the irony, I suppose). I'm
thinking of a law mandating the DoJ collection and publication of a list
of all Congressional mandates on which the executive branch persistently
pisses rather than obeys...
For instance, there is the mandated audit of the Pentagon
that has
never really been done (and was outright defied without even a
pretense of compliance for nearly 30 years). And how about the
persistent defiance of 22 U.S.C. §§ 2799aa and 2799aa-1
discussed here?
Then there's the
War Powers Act
of 1973... And this is to list three big items just off the top of
my head. I think we'd end up seeing a very long and very important list
if ever THIS mandate were followed-- and I'm sure it would impinge on
the "sensitivities" of a lot of swamp creatures.
ANYWAY, THE REAL RESPONSE to Jim Bovard's journalism about
the AWOL police killings report is simple and straightforward:
EVEN AS ARDENT A STATIST as Abraham
Lincoln, in announcing his willingness to burn the Southern states to the ground in order to
keep them paying the tariff for the benefit of Northern interests in
his first inaugural address on March 4, 1861, paid at least lip
service to the Founders design of leaving control over the fuel
available to feed the fires Washington wants to light in the hands
of the individual citizenry when he said, "Doing this I deem to
be only a simple duty on my part; and I shall perform it, unless my
rightful masters, the American people, shall withhold the requisite
means..."

Do you
know someone truly steeped in the Kool-Aid?
I mean
someone who finds it easier to believe that the far-better-educated,
far-more-suspicious-of-government Americans of a hundred years ago were
complete morons who granted authority to the state to take whatever it
wished from themselves and their posterity than to imagine that they
themselves simply misunderstand the true nature of the income tax? Even
while knowing that their beliefs about the tax are derived entirely from
the representations of those who profit from those beliefs (like tax
bureaucrats and "tax professionals")?
Do you
know someone like that? Shake them awake with the latest (fifteenth)
edition of
CtC!
If
CtC were actually
right, it would mean the government's been concealing and
denying and suppressing the truth for years
on end, and everybody knows THAT would never happen...
(Edward Snowden, come home! It was all just a bad dream; there really is

Btw, a copy of

e-book, Kindle or .pdf versions of
CtC.

Illuminating Anniversaries of this week:
June 18- In 1429, the French, led by Joan of Arc, defeat the
English in the Battle of Patay. In 1778, British troops are forced to withdraw
from Philadelphia. In 1812, the United States Congress declares war on the
United Kingdom. In 1815, British forces defeat France's Napoleon at Waterloo.
In 1830, the French invade Algeria. In 1873, Susan B. Anthony is fined $100 for
attempting to vote in the 1872 presidential election. (This was a REAL $100, by
the way, not 100 pieces of the near worthless trash we all-too-often use as
currency today. In 2015 the
value of that 1873 $100 would have been around $2,040, based on the CPI-- or
a lot more if calculated by other metrics). In 1923, the first Checker cab hits
the streets.
If you're not talking this one up everywhere and
helping generate a buzz, you don't really want liberty and the
rule of law...

Hendrickson is also a widely-read essayist on
matters of politics, public policy and law; many of these works

as a member of the International Society for Individual

the country.
Hendrickson's business career has included nearly a
decade-and-a-half at the leading edge of the renewable-energy
industry, both as Director of Purchasing and Materials
Management and member of the R&D board at Starpak Energy
Systems, the mid-west's then-largest solar heating and
energy-recovery-and re-utilization company; and as founder and
president of AFJ Inc., a high-efficiency lighting design,
manufacture and installation firm.
Beginning in the mid-1990s and continuing for the
twelve years before his present full-time focus on the
restoration of the rule of law in America, Hendrickson directed
purchasing activities for the $84 million-a-year
multi-family-housing division of the Farmington Hills, Michigan
branch of Edward Rose and Sons, with responsibility for 18,000+
apartments, direct supervision of 35 technicians and agents, and
incidental authority over several hundred divisional workers.
He also ran the division's 10 cable television earth-station and
distribution systems in four states, and designed and
administered the company's website.
On rather the other end of the spectrum, amidst
these more mundane pursuits Hendrickson co-founded and was the
primary creative force behind a small
board- and
card-game company that enjoyed a modest success for several
years.
Hendrickson makes his home in southeast Michigan,
with his wife and two children. He is currently working on his
next book.
