New Victories Offer Welcome Points Of Light In A Very
Dark Time
...with one story here being especially compelling...
I'M GOING TO BEGIN THIS VICTORY POST with a truly noteworthy and
uplifting story about a fellow I met in 2010 at FCI Milan. Here's the tale:
Dan Benham had been an
occasional correspondent of mine in the
first few years after
CtC was first published in 2003. He was
not
CtC-educated at the time-- in fact, he
was already several years deep into
implementing contrary ideas of his own.
But having become aware of my
work-- and my email address-- through
connections with other folks
in Southwest Michigan where he lived, Dan
respectfully took advantage of his
opportunities to seek out my opinions on his
approaches to the tax issue. He wrote me
perhaps a dozen times or so, and our
exchanges were always congenial.
Dan seemed a good guy, with his heart in
the right place.
I thought it a shame when I
learned of Dan's indictment within a few years on tax evasion and bankruptcy fraud
charges. I didn't believe that Dan had
willfully attempted to deceive anyone. He
wasn't the type.
FAST FORWARD TO
2010 and I am newly arrived at FCI Milan to
suffer the government's two-year effort to
convince me to sit down and shut up (as
part of the 17-year CtC-suppression campaign
documented here). Within little more
than a week I was taken entirely by surprise
when approached in the rec yard by a
stranger who excitedly introduced himself as
Dan Benham!
Small world, right?
Dan was only at Milan for a
short time thereafter, before being
transferred to another facility. But having
realized the error of his previous thinking
in the interim (and perhaps having had some
of my earlier points in our email exchanges
take root), Dan took every opportunity
during our brief time together to get a good
start down the path toward
CtC-educated. We had good conversations,
and I enjoyed his company-- something of
considerable value under the circumstances.
However, before long, Dan was
off to his new location, and again, out of
my mind. I confess that I didn't think of
him again until around a year and a half
ago, when the phone rang and it was, "Hi,
Pete this is Dan Benham. Do you remember
me?"
Well, I did, and was glad to,
because Dan had a great story to share.
YOU SEE, AS PART OF HIS
SENTENCE on the tax evasion and fraud
convictions, Dan was saddled with a chunk of
"restitution" to pay on amounts alleged to
have been owed in tax during the years of
his uneducated practices. Some of those old
liabilities were at that point incapable of
educated dispute.
But there was a light at the
end of that tunnel, because over the course of time
Dan finished his journey to
becoming
CtC-educated. Last year Dan filed
an educated return successfully
reclaiming everything withheld from him as
nominal federal income tax in 2018 (while
leaving unclaimed the portion denominated as
FICA taxes for reasons of his own):
A few months after securing
this victory Dan noticed something
unexpected: His outstanding restitution
amounts began dropping!
It seems the IRS was paying off
Dan's restitution (in a manner of speaking)
with diversions from the refunds he
was now securing on his current-year
educated filings! Here is a statement from
the Dept. of Justice (sic) acknowledging
the diversions:
I hadn't posted anything on
this really gratifying story until now
because the overall record and related
documentation are a bit of a mare's nest.
Because that remains the case, I'm not going to
say any more on the "restitution" issue at
this time.
But what we can see already is
very pleasing. A good man who had once
wandered a bit off the path has found his
footing, and, what's more, is getting solid
affirmation of the fact from folks who
obviously would be jumping all over Dan if
they could.
FURTHER, AND THE REASON I
AM now posting what I am of this
story, is that Dan has just gotten his
second victory in a row (this one
for 2019, on
this return):
This latest victory is worth
celebrating purely on its own merits, but
considering the special shine it sports
because of the backstory, and with the
continuing dark cloud of the
C19 coup-in-progress upon us from which
we can all use a little uplift (see
the article below in this newsletter to
learn how YOU can help fix that problem, and
how it WILL NOT be fixed if you don't help),
it seems particularly the right time for
sharing what I can of Dan's great story.

Either YOU ACT, Or
We End Up With A Permanent, Dystopian "New
Normal"
...and that will NOT be a good
thing, no matter what you may think of the
"old normal".
FOLKS, THOSE BEHIND THE EFFORT
TO IMPOSE A "NEW NORMAL" in which your
liberties are dramatically circumscribed on
behalf of a purported collective security
interest (i.e., "You must submit to this and
this in order to spare others the
inconvenience of isolation from a
hob-goblin
threat about which they have been made
panicky by a 24/7 propaganda attack over the
last 8 months) are going to persist until
they are stopped by opposing forces.
You must understand that by
mid-April, at least,
these officials had,
through outright incompetence or
irresistible lust for power, ruined state
economies and the personal economies of vast
numbers of their neighbors, and in many
cases contributed hugely to the outright
deaths of thousands of people. And they had
done all these terrible things in the name
of a vastly overblown threat of plague-like
peril from what was really at most just
another seasonal flu in its outcomes-- and
an especially mild seasonal flu, at that.

and those that will be found below which are
not equipped with other links.)
The only way these culpable
officials can see themselves escaping
punishment for these horrific crimes is
through nurturing the pretense that C19
really is the dire "millions will die"
threat that they have been pitching (and
keeping alive the panic that this pretense
has engendered in the gullible). If they can
do this long enough, the actual record of
events will become thoroughly polluted with
their narrative falsehoods and faded from
the passage of time, as well.
During this holdout,
double-down period, constituencies will
arise on behalf of the new normal. At the
same time, those at whose expense this all
happens become weaker and less able to seek
redress of the grievances, much less to hold
those responsible accountable for their
misdeeds.
Even with a huge number of
infections in America at the beginning of
the year (estimated to be between 36 and 51
million), almost no fatalities occurred
until infected patients were seeded into
highly-vulnerable nursing home populations.
The dramatic spate of murdered
grandmas and grandpas thus produced ramped
the fatality rate up to a somewhat scary
several hundred a week, but was insufficient
for the panic-mongering officials, who were
already recognizing their problem and the
only light at the end of their self-made
tunnel. Hence, the actual (however much
contrived) C19 death counts were then
"fortified" by an unprecedented change in
the decades-old reporting protocols.
Under the new guidelines, every
dead American which a heavily-predisposed
medical community could imagine might have
presented any symptom nominally associated
with C19
(which happen to also be symptoms
associated with several other illnesses,
such as the standard flu, pneumonia, and
even just the common cold) began to be
counted as a death from C19. NOW we started
seeing some frightening numbers! They
weren't actual C19 fatalities, but they were
said to be, and did a great job at keeping
the panic roiling.
THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT THESE
MALEFACTORS are NOT going to stand down.
They must be made to do so, and if they are
not, we will all pay a very heavy price--
even more than we already have lost. Much
more.
So, how do you make the
chief law enforcement officers of the states
where these crimes are being committed stand
down? It's easy.
First, you educate yourself to
the indisputable fact that the acts of these
people are without authority-- the proof of
which you will find below.
Then you do everything you can
to spread that knowledge throughout each
affected state, realizing that even if YOU
don't have a business that has been closed
down, or fooled or frightened into requiring
masks and the like, others to whom you will
send, or to whom what you send will be sent,
in turn, do.
Even if you don't understand what good these
keys will do, others to whom you will send,
or to whom what you send will be sent, in
turn, will understand.
The spreading is easy: Pdfs of
proof-packages are provided below for eight
states. (Others can be easily produced with
a little simple research and the use of
those provided as templates.)
ONCE YOUR OWN EDUCATION is
up-to-speed and the information has been
spread, you stop playing along with the
illegal edicts. You encourage everyone
else to do the same.
This means businesses which
have been illegally ordered closed
immediately reopen all over the state. Masks
come off faces all over the state.
The hypnotic 24/7 propaganda
drumbeat from the media (and now
incorporated even in most commercial
advertising, as well) falters. People begin
remembering what has been taken from them,
and now realize it has been taken from them
under false pretenses.
Narrowed eyes all over the
state turn toward the statehouse.
The malefactors realize the
bluster and the bulldozing have failed. They
stop issuing edicts and start focusing on
getting lawyered-up.
It's all good.
But all of this only happens if
YOU finally step up to what I have
been putting before you for months now
and ACT. There should already have
been a hundred million of the "Liberty Keys"
below shared throughout the land, and had
that happened, we all would be a whole lot
better off than we are now.
Do you not understand that by
NOT stepping up and acting, you effectively
ENDORSE government OVERTLY ordering you and
your neighbors about without lawful
authority? Where do you think that
precedent will take us?!
It's not too late, but it's
getting closer to "too late". Every day
counts. Make it happen.

The Michigan "Lockdown" Liberty And
Accountability Key
The simple, indisputable legal basis for reclaiming
freedom from all “lockdown” edicts in the Great Lakes state, and for
holding the perps responsible.
(The Texas, Virginia, Kentucky, Wyoming,
Georgia, Louisiana and Wisconsin Keys have been added, below.)
ALL STATE "LOCKDOWN" ORDERS and related C19-hysteria
measures issued from governors' offices since mid-March of 2020 have
been illegal under express terms of the Constitution of each
affected state. What follows is a concise analysis of that express
prohibition for Michigan (first posted on Thursday, May 21, 2020).
Below that four-point analysis will be found links to a
.pdf version of the material for printing and sharing; links to a
few posts addressing the limits of state (and federal) executive
authority more broadly; and .pdfs of similar analyses for a number
of other states that have been added over the intervening months. Those in states for which I have not yet prepared
an analysis are encouraged to use these examples as guides in their
own efforts to address the illegalities of executive overreach with
which they are afflicted.
Schedule, section 16, of the Michigan Constitution of
1963 provides that upon adoption of that Constitution by a majority
of electors, “it shall be the supreme law of the state on and after
the first day of January of the year following its adoption” and
declares that vote in favor of adoption as having been certified on
June 20, 1963.
2. Disharmony with the Constitution invalidates any
purported act, pronouncement, edict, decree, order or law of any
state officer(s) or agent(s):
The General rule is that an unconstitutional statute,
though having the form and name of law is in reality no law, but is
wholly void, and ineffective for any purpose; since
unconstitutionality dates from the time of it's enactment and not
merely from the date of the decision so branding it. An
unconstitutional law, in legal contemplation, is as inoperative as
if it had never been passed. Such a statute leaves the question that
it purports to settle just as it would be had the statute not been
enacted.
No repeal of an enactment is necessary, since an
unconstitutional law is void. The general principles follow that it
imposes no duties, confers no rights, creates no office, bestows no
power or authority on anyone, affords no protection, and justifies
no acts performed under it.

3. Michigan's Constitution vests law-making (legislative) power--
that is, the power to impose enforceable requirements or
prohibitions-- exclusively in the legislature, in Article
IV, section 1 and Article III, section 2, with only two very narrow
and specific exceptions (all bracketed
clarifications and emphases added):
Except to the extent limited or abrogated by
article IV, section 6 [providing for an Independent citizens
redistricting commission] or
article V, section 2 [allowing the
governor to rearrange or reassign functions within the
legislatively-established executive branch, subject to approval by
the legislature where having the character of law], the legislative
power of the State of Michigan is vested in a senate and a house of
representatives.
The powers of government are divided into three
branches: legislative, executive and judicial. No person exercising
powers of one branch shall exercise powers properly belonging to
another branch except as expressly provided in this constitution [in
Article IV, sec. 1, shown above].
4. In law, "substance" always rules over "form". The
devising and issuing of commands to the general public, disobedience
of which can be punished by the state apparatus in any way
whatsoever, is the making of laws,
even if the products are called "executive orders". Executive branch
officials are prohibited from such legislating, except as expressly
authorized in the Constitutions to which they have sworn fidelity.
Any basis-- even an enactment of the legislature
itself-- on which the governor (or any executive branch agency or
official) claims the power
to devise, issue and enforce commands directed at any or all of the
general public -- whether
such commands are labeled as "Executive Orders" or otherwise-- is manifestly
unconstitutional and void, per the foregoing simple and
straightforward legal facts. The governor and all other executive
branch officials are prohibited from being
given, having, or exercising any such power.
No commands so devised and issued can be lawfully
enforced by anyone. No commands so devised and issued can be
lawfully upheld by any court to which the foregoing points of law
are presented.

THIS VIDEO PROJECTS THE PROGRESS of a nuclear exchange between Russia and
the United States. It's frightening, as it should
be, as well as sobering and instructive. My only
criticisms are, first of all, that it fails to
account for the imbalance that will now be present
in any such exchange due to
the new Russian
hypersonic weapons.
Secondly, the video fails to account
for China's contribution to the exchange against the
US, which is a virtual certainty. China knows that
if Russia goes, and the US survives, it goes soon
after. So, that will not be allowed to happen.
CAN YOU EVEN IMAGINE how abysmally
stupid someone would have to be to continue to doubt
or deny that
CtC has revealed the actual, complete and insurmountable
truth about the income tax in light of the overwhelming
mountain of
historical,legal,
practical and
logical evidence to the contrary? (Not to mention
the
outright lies and even
ludicrous hoaxes the executive and some corrupt
members of the judiciary have been caught at in desperate
efforts to conceal the truth...)

abysmally stupid or be an abysmally corrupt government
official or other person who sees him or herself as
benefitting from the lies about the tax by which America

Four Months Of Unprecedented Government Malfeasance

Over the last four months,
Americans have lived through what is arguably the
most consequential period of government malfeasance
in U.S. history. Public officials’ overreaction to
the novel coronavirus put American cities into a
coma; those same officials’ passivity in the face of
widespread rioting threatens to deliver the coup de
grâce. Together, these back-to-back governmental
failures will transform the American polity and
cripple urban life for decades.
Before store
windows started shattering in the name of
racial justice, urban existence was already
on life support, thanks to the coronavirus
lockdowns. Small businesses—the restaurants
and shops that are the lifeblood of
cities—were shuttered, many for good,
leaving desolate rows of “For Rent” signs on
street after street in New York City and
elsewhere. Americans huddled in their homes
for months on end, believing that if they
went outside, death awaited them.
This panic was
occasioned by epidemiological models
predicting wildly unlikely fatalities from
the coronavirus.
On March 30, the
infamous Imperial College London model
predicted 2.2 million deaths in the U.S. by
September 1, absent government action. That
prediction was absurd on its face, given the
dispersal of the U.S. population and the
fact that China’s coronavirus death toll had
already leveled off at a few thousand. The
authors of that study soon revised it
radically downwards.
Too late. It had
already become the basis for the exercise of
unprecedented government power. California
was the first state to lock down its economy
and confine its citizens to their homes;
eventually almost every other state would
follow suit, under enormous media pressure
to do so.
Never before had
public officials required millions of lawful
businesses to shut their doors, throwing
tens of millions of people out of work. They
did so at the command of one particular
group of experts—those in the medical and
public health fields—who viewed their
mandate as eliminating one particular health
risk with every means put at their disposal.
If the politicians
who followed their advice weighed a greater
set of considerations, balancing the
potential harm from the virus against the
harm from the shutdowns, they showed no sign
of it. Instead, governors and mayors started
rolling out one emergency decree after
another to terminate economic activity,
seemingly heedless of the consequences.
The lockdown
mandates employed mind-numbingly arbitrary
distinctions. Wine stores and pot
dispensaries were deemed “essential” and
thus allowed to stay open; medical offices
were required to close. Large grocery stores
got the green light; small retail
establishments with only a few customers
each day were out of luck. Michigan Governor
Gretchen Whitmer notoriously used her red
pen within megastores to bar the sale of
seeds, gardening supplies, and paint.
It was already
clear when these crushing mandates started
pouring forth that shutting down every
corner of the country was a reckless
overreaction. By mid-March, two weeks before
the Imperial College model was published,
Italian health data showed that the
coronavirus was terribly lethal to a very
small subset of the population—the elderly
infirm—and a minor health problem to nearly
everyone else who was not already severely
ill. The median age of coronavirus decedents
in Italy was 80, and they died with a median
of nearly three comorbidities, such as heart
disease and diabetes. The lead author of the
Imperial College model has admitted that up
to two-thirds of all coronavirus fatalities
would have died from their comorbidities by
the end of 2020 anyway.
Three months later,
this profile of coronavirus casualties still
holds true. Public health interventions
could have been targeted at that highly
vulnerable population without forcing the
American economy into a death spiral.
WOW! What a great summary by Mac
Donald, and with what a pitch-perfect tone!
The only thing Mac Donald
leaves off the table here is any
consideration of the "why", and that's ok.
While we all like to tilt at that one (and
while it remains important to do so, so that
culpability can be properly assigned for the
meting out of punishments later), "why" is
not necessary for successfully making the
point that the "what" is indefensible and a
mammoth harm needing immediate rectification
purely on its own merits.
That "what" would need
immediate rectification even if it was a
consequence of nothing but rank incompetence
and covidiocy.
THERE IS ONLY ONE minor error
in Mac Donald's presentation that caught my
eye, and it's purely incidental: The absurd
Imperial College 2.2 million dead in America
prediction came on March 16, not March 30.
This is worth mentioning only insofar as it
firms up the sequence of events-- it was
only three days later, on March 19, that
California's governor Gavin Newsom issued the first of
the
illegal "lockdown" orders in the USA.
Newsom's offense was soon
duplicated by many other law-breakers in
many other states, and from there it seems
these same states have been in competition
to see which can impose the most ruinous
policies by the most blatant disregard of
the law. Mac Donald does a wonderful job
pouring snarky intellectual scorn on it all,
and warning of the dire threat of
complacency in response.
Mac Donald finishes with the
statement that "Pulling the country back
from the abyss will require a recalling of
our civilizational inheritance", and she's
right. The chief inheritance needing to be
recalled is the hard-won rule of law, and an
appreciation of its importance.
IN THAT RULE-OF-LAW VEIN, THE
FIRST ANSWER
to the C19 crisis is to inform
the People of
their own Constitutional prohibitions of
all the despotic diktats currently ruining
lives. Americans are respectful of the law,
and the only reason so many are caving to
the ruinous edicts issuing from state
governors is their mistaken belief that the
edicts are lawful. Once they know
differently, we will see a dramatic reversal
on that front.
The second answer to this rogue
government crisis is to shrink
all of America's Leviathans, thus
diminishing their ability to mount assaults
of this kind in the first place, no matter
the pretext. The "state" in all its forms
has become an object of worship in this
country over the last 80 years or so, and
has done so because it has, in all its
forms, become huge and ubiquitous.
Among much else, America's
Leviathan states have become able to put
fingers in every pie, and to field armies of
lawyers to overwhelm opposition when it
arises. They have become able to assert
control over the education of young
Americans such that opposition arises much
less often than it otherwise would, and
ought to.
The Leviathans have become able
to drown us all in endless "public service
announcements" on TV and radio selling the
Kool-Aid and suppressing opposition to the
coup. These folks shouldn't be able to
scrape together enough to mount a
leafletting campaign from what is left after
the expenditures their actual governmental
duties require, but instead they are awash
in wealth and influence.
We facilitate all of that power
at our peril, as is now more clearly shown
than ever before.
So, DEFUND THE LEVIATHANS!
Don't just close your
eyes and dreamily smile at the thought. Get
up and make it happen.
Spread the knowledge you
already have about the true nature of the
income tax (which restrains state
governments just as it does the federal
government). The simplest way to do this is
to share
this little document with everyone you
can, in every way that you can.
I HAVE DONE MY BEST to lead this country
to liberty from the mis-applied income tax. I have labored
hard. I've shed a lot of sweat, a fair bit of blood
and more than a few tears. But I seem to be pretty poor
at that kind of work.
When I have asked all of you for what I
firmly believe is a necessary resource to move the ball
downfield and give all of us the best chance at justice
and an end to the assault on the rule of law-- simple
testimonial videos requiring nothing from any of you
but the phone in your pocket and three minutes of speaking
from the heart-- I have had only a handful of people
answer my call.
I CAN'T KEEP GOING THIS WAY. I have to
be able to turn my attention away from writing new persuasive
or skepticism-addressing articles week after week, and
toward research, analysis and educational presentations
that will benefit everyone already in this community.
I need time to do some suing, and to bring together
the resources and talent toward that end.
As said, it is my firm belief that your
testimonial videos are the resource that I need to make
big things happen, and they are unquestionably the thing
I need to allow me to turn my attention away from trying
to get horses to drink at the waterhole to which I have
led them. Your words, in your great numbers and all
in your own different ways, will do that better than
anything I write possibly could.
And yet, you are not providing them. This,
despite my having been asking you for them for many
years now.
Therefore, with enormous reluctance, I
am making portions of this website restricted access
only. People have been urging me to do this for years
now, telling me I should impose a charge to access my
work-product, so as to enable me to keep producing.
I have never been inclined to charge fees
for access. I ask for donations, and will continue to
do that, and if they do not come, then I will conclude
that my work is of no value to anyone, and I will close
shop.
But I now WILL charge a special
something for access to some key portions of that
work.
Opening selected pages on
LHC comprising higher level legal
resources now requires the submission of qualifying testimonial
videos, as discussed, described and demonstrated
here.
The videos must be accompanied by scans of a recent
educated filing along with responsive documents from
the IRS, whether in the form of a check, a notice
identifying and reflecting the filed return, or
"return" and "account" transcripts for the year for
which the return was filed. Names must be shown in
full.
Similarly, if
an email comes my way asking for guidance or assistance,
I had better already have your video posted.
I HATE TO PLAY IT THIS WAY. But I want
to win.
I'll tell you a story from when I was coaching
my kids in soccer. Both of my kids at a certain age
in their careers had run into a wall common to all but
the very exceptional. They had gotten to be pretty good,
and they wanted to enjoy the benefits of their hard
work. But the arrival of this interest coincided with
a new self-consciousness which made them reluctant to
risk failing and looking foolish. So, they were hanging
back from seizing the main chance when it appeared,
and driving for the goal.
My solution was to post on the wall of
our dining room a couple of simple points about self-discipline,
the chief of which is this: You can't score a goal if
you don't take a shot.
That's how it is here, too. If you don't
stand up, you are laying down, and you'll never score
that goal.
Here is what my kids live by now, in their
own version of that lesson. I hear it from them all
the time as they excel (accompanied by the sound of
a father's breast swelling with pride): Go hard,
or go home.
You, too. Go hard, or go home.
Send those videos.
Do I ask for a lot? I want your victories
to post, your financial support, your efforts at spreading
the word, and your beautiful faces and inspiring words,
too. It IS a lot.
But it's not too much. I'll let Thomas Paine explain:

It's time, and it's needed, for you to share yours with
the world.

What does it for you?
Is it simply because no moral and upstanding
person has any choice when it comes to telling the truth
over his or her signature, whether on tax forms or anywhere
else?
Is it recognition of the critical importance
of the rule of law, and the knowledge that if everybody
leaves its caretaking to someone else, it will soon
be lost to us completely?
Is it the money?
Maybe it's just simple respect for your
own rights as a human being, who is not and cannot be
not involuntarily subordinated to others?
Maybe it's just simple respect for your
general civic responsibility to be the grown-up and
enforce frugality and restraint on a big, powerful creature
of our own devising which otherwise is like a badly-raised
teenage boy given whiskey and car keys and let loose
on the road to wreak havoc?
Or is it, perhaps, a more acute anxiety
that if our bonfire of a state isn't damped, and quickly,
it'll soon burn down the house around us all?
What IS it that firms up your jaw and stiffens
your resolve?
It's time to take off the bushel and
share your light!
I would like you to think about what it
is that motivates you for a few moments (or all day,
if you like), and then send me your thoughts. I want
to put YOUR reasons to work inspiring folks who don't
yet understand what this is all about.
In this day and age, the most effective
way for you to share your thinking for the benefit of
others is to video-record yourself talking about how
you feel, and explaining what inspires and motivates
YOU.
All you need is a webcam or cell-phone
equipped with a camera. If you don't have, or know how
to use, one of these, have a friend help. (And if
you use a cell-phone, please have the orientation
horizontal, not vertical-- that is, so that the
screen of the phone on which you are watching
yourself while taping looks like a TV or movie
screen.)
If needed, write a little script for yourself.
Better, though, to just speak extemporaneously, after
spending a little time sorting out your thoughts and
getting down into your heart. Perhaps make it a video
of someone in your family, or a close friend, interviewing
you.
Dress "business casual". Be well-groomed.
Keep yourself to no more than 2 or 3 minutes,
and keep in mind that the purpose is
not to educate,
but to INSPIRE, ENCOURAGE and ENERGIZE. Your video will
be one of many to be shared. If you need to go
longer to really say your piece, go for it (but long
or short I may edit if something strikes me as
wandering or off-key or unacceptable).
You needn't feel any obligation to be profound,
and you shouldn't try to explain anything about the
law, other than to say that you have read it and you
know it's on your side. You just need to be sincere,
and uplifting. Your object is to make your audience
want to have what you have, and to be where you are
in your heart.
Don't talk to ME, or to others in the
CtC-educated community. Make remarks that are suited
to the NON-CtC-educated community, and at the same
time, be mindful that you're speaking to an
audience that doesn't yet know ANYTHING about the subject,
and whose first reaction is, "This must be illegal;
this must be dangerous; this is too good to be true."
You want to pull that audience right past such things,
and straight to a focus on truth, morality, and our
American heritage of liberty and the rule of law.
Remember: INSPIRE, ENCOURAGE, ENERGIZE.
Speak about rights. Speak about morality,
and the obligation of a grown-up and responsible person
to speak the truth and to enforce the Constitution.
Speak about everyone's duty
to give to God what is God's, always, and to Caesar
only what is really Caesar's. Speak of your obligation
to respect yourself, and to look out for the current
and future well-being of your children and your fellow
citizens. Speak of
CtC, and what its information has done for your
understanding and resolve. Show the book.
If you have had victories, describe them.
Better still, show them, if possible.
Be clear about just what you accomplished:
EVERYTHING back-- Social Security, Medicare and all;
a "notice of deficiency" closing notice; an on-paper
agreement or acknowledgment that your earnings weren't
subject to the tax and everything withheld or paid-in
was an "overpayment"; a transcript showing all $0s;
or whatever happened.
When you speak of state victories, name
the state. If you had to overcome balkiness from a tax
agency before winning any victory, describe that, too!
If you're in a battle now, speak of your
resolve to uphold the law, come what may--
why you're not discouraged, and why you are not
standing down, not slinking back into the barn, and
not choosing to endorse the lies. Don't get
into details-- your audience is going to have no
idea what a "LTR3176" is, and you will NOT be
capable of explaining it adequately. This is an
subject area concerning which you should speak from
the heart, not the head.
If you haven't
yet begun to act, share the reasons for your decision to do so, and
your plans.
Remember, your purpose is to INSPIRE, ENCOURAGE
and ENERGIZE.
Watch your own video after you
record it and ask yourself: Putting yourself
in the place of someone completely immersed
in "the matrix"-- oblivious to any notions
that you might have been a victim of an
"ignorance tax", and comfortable with the
status quo-- would the video you just made
encourage you to push aside your comforting
illusions and learn the liberating truth? If
not, try again.
Identify yourself. Anonymity is for criminals and self-doubters, not
CtC
warriors. Naming yourself is a requirement, and your
name will appear as a subtitle on the video when I
prepare it for posting, in any event.
Mention what you do for a living, whether
you're a doctor, homemaker, lawyer, trucker, IT guy
or gal, retiree or student. Help people understand
that the company of grown-up activist Americans they
are being invited to join cuts across all demographics
and all interests-- with the common denominator being
respect for the law and love of the principles on which
this great country was founded.
This is your chance to get a LOT accomplished.
We've all had frustrating occasions of
trying to explain all this to a friend, neighbor, family
member or co-worker, only to pile up against the wall
of a mind not yet ready to listen and learn. Here is
your chance to address a self-selected audience of folks
who have themselves decided that it's time for them
to begin paying attention, and have clicked on your
testimonial for exactly that reason.
Further, think about this: You want judges,
bureaucrats, CPAs, lawyers, the HR people where you
work, your pastors, your neighbors and everyone else
to acknowledge the truth about the tax openly and straightforwardly.
How and why would these folks do this if YOU won't?
You want these folks to learn the truth.
Why would they even recognize that there is a truth
to be learned if you won't attest to having learned
it yourself? You've got to stand up, face forward and
chin up and tell these folks that you have studied and
checked and verified and seen the evidence and seen
the government evasions and you know that the tax is
not the capitation that the beneficiary government wants
everyone to think it is but a benign, strictly limited
thing, and that they need to study and learn that, too.
Again, if you have victories to show, that's
nice, and powerful, too. But you don't have to have
victories to display in order to declare your knowledge
of what the law says. I've never flown around the world,
but I've seen the evidence and considered the arguments,
and I'm not hesitant to declare it a sphere...
Even those of you who haven't yet studied
CtC have surely read
this short document, and have verified everything
in it for yourself. You should therefore be declaring
its veracity and its message, loud and proud. Again,
if you won't say it, how can you hope that others will
ever even bother to look at the facts?
Be the change you want to see in the world,
or there won't be any change.
So, please make and send those videos
right away! You can share them with me via a cloud-based
drive space like DropBox, OneDrive.Live.com or GoogleDrive
(if you do GoogleDrive you MUST give access permission to stategroups@losthorizons.com), or
mail DVDs to me at 232 Oriole St., Commerce Twp., Michigan

20 megs (and you can break a video up if need be-- I
can reassemble them). Render as .mpg or mp4, if possible;
if not, send them how you have them and I'll make them
work.
BTW: An encouraging and inspiring
video will earn you access to the restricted pages
on losthorizons.com and membership in the National
Forum if you have also sent me a recent educated
federal filing and IRS response (or relevant
"return" or "account" transcript). I will be the
judge of whether your submissions qualify
for access, but if you do your best you should do
fine.
Remember, the restoration of institutional
respect for individual rights and the rule of law depends
on enough individuals insisting upon it. Do your part
to let those starting to rub the sleep from their eyes
know that there is a community already waiting for their
fellowship with open arms and open hearts and shining
spirits.

Getting Free Of The "Income" Tax Scheme Is As Easy As
Falling Off A Bike
To get an idea of how today's "income" tax scheme works,
try this little exercise:
Think of the federal government as a guy named Bob,
who lives down the street from you in a town that is
really big on bicycles. Bikes get used for commuting,
deliveries, shopping, etc.. In fact, other than walking,
bicycles are the exclusive form of transportation in
your town.
Your neighbor Bob has a by-the-mile bicycle-renting
business-- "Bob's Bicycles". Bob's Bicycles is far and
away the biggest business in town.
Part of Bob’s success is because he does a lot of contract
business. However, Bob doesn't just get paid by riders
who have signed an agreement with him, or even just
those using Bob's bikes. Bob gets something every time
anybody in town does any riding at all, through an odd
combination of circumstances that took many years to
come together.
Here's how it happened...
Bob's Bicycles was launched long ago by the great grandfather
of the present Bob (Bob IV). Great Grandpa Bob started
out not only with a main location for his contract business--
he also had the bright idea of setting up spots around
town where he parked some of his bikes for use by the
more occasional rider, on an "honor system". Anyone
could take and use one of these bikes, but they were
expected to keep track of their mileage, and send Bob
a "1040 Mileage Ridden/Rent Due Form" (and the appropriate
rent), periodically. The initial design of the form
was like this:
I, ______________,
rode a Bob's Bicycle a total of _____ miles
this year.
At Bob's rental
rate of $.15 per mile, I owe Bob $______
I said that Great Grandpa Bob planned to deal with these
occasional riders on the "honor system", and that's
true. But he liked his money, too, and didn't want to
miss anything that was due him. So, after setting up
the "self-serve" locations, Great Grandpa Bob went around
handing out "W-2, 1099 or K-1 Rider Reporting Forms"
to every other business in town. The forms-- accompanied
by notices that if Bob didn't get his rent from someone
riding a bicycle in connection with any business, he
would sue the company involved-- said:
You Can’t Fight Well When You Don’t Know
What You’re Fighting About
If you are having an argument
with the IRS or any other tax agency,
You are NOT being presumed to have made “corporate
profit”.
You are NOT being alleged to have received “foreign
income”.
You are NOT entangled in an invisible “adhesion
contract”.
You are NOT being obligated by a law whose subject
is never identified.
You are being targeted because REAL EVIDENCE exists
that YOU PERSONALLY HAD “INCOME” to which the revenue laws apply--
even though that evidence is almost certainly incorrect,
and CAN be corrected.

I know that this can mean the investment of a lot of time, attention
and effort, but although some may imagine otherwise, I don't write
as much as I do because I can't think of any other way to spend
my time...
Furthermore, when you encounter a hyperlink within, or associated
with, the text you are reading, follow it!
It is pretty common these days for web-based material to be littered
with hyperlinks. Sometimes the purpose is to provide definitions
or examples, in order to ensure that folks reading the original
material aren't presented with a word or reference which they don't
understand. Sometimes the links lead to illustrations pertinent
to the original text.
It is common-- and perfectly understandable-- for folks who are
confident that they are familiar with language or references within
the main text they are reading to get in the habit of skipping over
included links. I do it all the time, myself!
However, I very rarely include links for definitional or explanatory
purposes; and when I DO make a link out of text in one page it is
generally to another self-contained page, rather than merely illustrative
material. These other pages contain material the clear understanding
of which I deem highly important for the proper and complete understanding
of the original page. (Links to
CtC, the
Victories pages,
CtC Warriors and so on are obvious exceptions to this general
rule. On the other hand, a link to the victory
Highlights or 'Every
Which Way But Loose' pages, which might seem like such exceptions,
are not. The special selection of victories on those pages, and
the filed docs and tax-agency correspondences included therewith,
themselves constitute highly instructive material which merits careful
attention. Thus care needs to be taken in all cases.)
Please make a habit of clicking on all provided links and at least
looking briefly to ensure that the linked page is one with which
you are completely familiar from another study session.
Finally, please keep in mind that, annoying though it may seem at
first blush (but not, I trust, upon reflection), I constantly tweak
material already posted. Obviously this doesn't mean that every
page is in flux at all times, but it does mean that if you are directed
to a page that IS familiar, it's worthwhile to read it through again
if it's been a while since your last having done so.

independence from the United Kingdom. In 1934, Hitler's office as Fϋhrer of
Germany is approved by 89.9% of the electorate. In 1953, the CIA succeeds in
overthrowing the recently elected government of Mohammed Mossadegh in Iran and
re-installing the brutally repressive but more United-States-compliant
dictatorship of Shah Reza Pahlavi. In 1991, Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev
is placed under house arrest by members of his administration attempting to
thwart the collapse of the Soviet Union. In 2005, the first ever joint military
exercise by Russia and China begins. In 2010, a token portion of United States

these officials had,
through outright incompetence or
irresistible lust for power, ruined state
economies and the personal economies of vast
numbers of their neighbors, and in many
cases contributed hugely to the outright
deaths of thousands of people. And they had
done all these terrible things in the name
of a vastly overblown threat of plague-like
peril from what was really at most just
another seasonal flu in its outcomes-- and
an especially mild seasonal flu, at that.

even just the common cold) began to be
counted as a death from C19. NOW we started
seeing some frightening numbers! They
weren't actual C19 fatalities, but they were
said to be, and did a great job at keeping
the panic roiling.
