An Open Letter To Ron Paul, C4L, The LP, And Everyone Who Fancies Himself A "Real Republican" ...along with anyone else who claims fealty to liberty and the rule of law. Dr. Paul, and all the rest: Though I'm sorry to say it, the subject today is hypocrisy. YOUR hypocrisy. Let me explain. Sometime over the last couple of months, you probably signed documents giving the federal government permission to use large amounts of your money to finance or support:
YOU PROBABLY SIGNED DOCUMENTS GIVING PERMISSION to the feds to do all these things with YOUR money. You probably pro-actively signed-up as a partner with the government in doing all these things, and you did it voluntarily. Oh, you'll try to dodge responsibility. You'll pretend that you were compelled by law to declare all your earnings to be tax-relevant "income" by listing them in the "income" fields on a 1040 and signing it as true, complete and correct. But you know better. It is 2018. At this point, it is not credible that you are unaware of the $BILLIONS in tax refunds secured by readers of 'Cracking the Code- The Fascinating Truth About Taxation In America'. It is not possible that you are unaware of the 250,000+ government admissions of the book's accuracy, or the even more telling admissions in the form of unprecedented efforts to suppress the book. To not know these things at this point, 15 years on since their inception, is nearly impossible. And frankly, even if you happen to have been so remarkably disengaged with current events over that 15 years as to honestly not know about CtC, you're still not off the hook. You're smart enough to have recognized-- all on your own-- that a 1040 is a declaratory instrument. You're smart enough to understand the implications of that declaratory legal character. You're smart enough to understand that what is listed as "income" on such a form is being declared by the signer to be properly subject to the government's tax. You probably even understand that "information returns" such as W-2s and 1099s constitute allegations by those who paid you that you were paid for federally-privileged, taxable activities. You probably have enough legal acumen to be aware that you are encouraged to attach those third-party "information returns" to your 1040 because doing so makes their allegations into your own testimony. You're also smart enough to realize that the signer of a tax return has a choice. He can declare his earnings to be properly subject to the tax by reporting them as "income" on that tax-relevant form. Or he can dispute that his earnings are properly subject to the tax by not doing so. The signer has every right to register his dispute in that fashion, and doing so is completely lawful. Finally, you're also smart enough to realize that engaging in politicking or punditry against the tax IS NOT A MEANINGFUL PROTEST OF ANYTHING. It means nothing when you have signed under penalties of perjury declaring the government's claim to your enabling funds. Protests made afterward or elsewhere are just theater. The notion that it is a valid solution from any kind of personal integrity standpoint to say, "Here's my money, Leviathan... but oh, I don't think you should have it, and the things you do with it are so terrible... blah, blah blah..." is nonsense. It's just a buy-in to some kind of state-empowering "social contract" bs. You know that. You also know you have the option to actually and meaningfully say "No!" as tens of thousands of your fellow Americans do every year (and thereby keep your money in your own hands, but even if you don't believe that, and figure it will just be seized from you anyway is not relevant to the point here). You just don't have the sand to not tug your forelock and say "Yes" when the revenue-hungry state glares and you and demands that you do so. Further, in permitting the government to tax as "income" your unprivileged earnings-- as you have always done, and are about to do again-- you are participating in a federal imposition of an unapportioned capitation, which is a Constitutional violation. You are being party to a truly heinous crime. SO, HERE'S THE THING, MY FRIENDS: You have no business complaining about all the evils of the Leviathan state while at the same time voluntarily PAYING FOR THEM. Such complaints alongside such compliance is HYPOCRISY. Either shut up and go away, OR (and this is very much my preference), start putting your money where your mouth is (to deploy a remarkably apt metaphor). You probably already DO know the truth. Have some self-respect and get on your feet. If you really don't know the truth yet, here is the law in a concise seven pages and here is how the tax structure works, in a concise eight pages. Ron Paul will never see it on my site. He doesn't come here-- that's the problem. A dozen people have given him copies of CtC over the years. He doesn't read them. Dr. Paul apparently needs to be shamed into reading one of those many copies given to him. The leadership at C4L, and the LP, and all those who fancy themselves to be "Real Republicans" dedicated to respect for the Constitution and opposed to the overweening State need to be shamed into facing the truth about the tax and their enabling of the very things they decry. Or, let me be more generous than I am above: People don't know what they don't know, and are pretty skilled at avoiding information that will alert them to their ignorance. Such people have to be helped to see the truth. |
