December 30- In 1853, the United States buys what are now the southern
portions of Arizona and New Mexico from Mexico to provide land to railroad
interests for an anticipated deep Southern line. In 1922, the Union of Soviet

other galaxies. In 1977, serial killer Ted Bundy escapes from a Colorado prison
cell for the second time.

SO, I WANT TO INTRODUCE YOU to one of the more unlovely
creatures vying with all the others for a place in the sun at the
expense of the rest. I speak of the parasite known as the "cowbird".
The cowbird is an avian unremarkable in appearance. But
this bird's behavior is truly out of the ordinary.
You see, during the nesting season, the cowbird watches
other birds build their nests and lay their eggs. When it sees a
suitable nest left unattended by hardworking parents who have gone off
for food, the cowbird sneaks in, tumbles out one or more of the existing
eggs and lays its own egg in that nest, repeating this with several host
nests in the immediate neighborhood.
The idea is that the nest builders will be deceived (or at
least sufficiently uncertain as to what's what). These "host" victims
end up incubating the cowbird's chicks.
This behavior by the cowbird is not mere mindless instinct
at work. The parasitic program is so deliberate and vicious that the
cowbird will even watch the host nests to see that things go as planned.
If victims detect the deception and tumble out an alien egg, the cowbird
is known to then sneak in and destroy remaining native eggs, apparently
to discourage further removals.
When the brood begins to hatch, the cowbird chicks are
first to emerge. Thus, the alien invaders get the first meals brought
to the nest by the hosts.
The cowbird chicks continue their optimized exploitation
going forward. As part of the program, cowbirds choose small songbirds
as their prey, meaning the cowbird chicks are bigger than any surviving
nestmates. The cowbird chicks are aggressive, as well. For both reasons,
the aliens continue to get the lion's share of the food throughout the
nesting period.
The cowbirds thrive, while their victims do all the work and
yet see their own offspring wither and die.
THIS COWBIRD THING IS A PRETTY UGLY STORY, RIGHT? Well, I
hate to say it, but this is America's story for the last 80 years.
For all that time, the America that our forefathers built
for us with hard work and much sacrifice has been increasingly taken
over and exploited by a predatory, parasitic alien interest. This
vicious alien parasite is the Leviathan state, whose operators and
beneficiaries figured out 80 years ago

and feed THEIR children, at the expense of your own.
LET ME CLARIFY: 250 or so years ago, we built a nest for
OUR baby-- a
constitutionally-limited republic erected to secure the individual
rights of Americans from all infringement, foreign and domestic.

constant scrutiny; where the status of men flowed from their
achievements and from their personal qualities, not from distinctions

But some 80 years ago OUR baby was
tumbled out of the nest and replaced by THEIR baby-- a big, hungry,
aggressive, crony-and-client-serving,
paranoia-generating-and-exploiting,
family-destroying-and-identity-politics-nurturing "national security and
nanny state".
It is that monster baby-- the enemy of our own-- that we
have been feeding ever since.
Our nest has become
a little shop of
horrors in which we fear for our lives as we watch our liberties,
our rights and the tattered remnants of the rule of law wither and die.
At the same time, the monster grows ever bigger, ever more aggressive,
and ever more dangerous and destructive.
HAPPILY, THE STORY DOESN'T END HERE-- or doesn't have to.
You see, the "cowbird state" thing is not an exact model of the actual
"cowbird" thing.
In the actual cowbird model, the songbirds whose nests have
been invaded are driven by instinct to find and deliver food to chicks
in the nest, even though the chicks might be alien invaders. But the
"cowbird state" thing isn't directed at songbirds.
WE are human beings. WE can overcome even aggressive and
scary
demands that we engage in self-destructive behavior.
WHAT'S MORE, those aggressive demands for food by the alien
baby-- and the danger of violent reaction by its parents if those
demands are denied-- are actually just bluster in the case of the
"cowbird state" scheme. They rely for their
effect entirely on widespread misunderstanding of the legal
landscape in which this story has been playing out since it began in
the 1940s-- that is, a widespread misunderstanding of
the income tax
laws (which has, unsurprisingly, been carefully and diligently
cultivated by the cowbird parents).
Under that misunderstanding, Americans have been led to
believe that they can legally be compelled to feed the alien baby,
unless they are willing to forego earning a living, and let themselves
and their own children starve. But this is not true.

an individual choice, stop nurturing the monster in our nest.

to simply let the evil beast starve and shrink and wither away until
it can ultimately be tossed over the side. Under the law as written,
every American can give to his or her own children what has been going
into the monster baby's insatiable maw-- and the "cowbird parents" can
do nothing whatever about it.

INDEED, THE ONLY REASON we have ever grown the alien baby
within our midst is fear born of that carefully-cultivated widespread
ignorance about the income tax. That ignorance has saddled each
American-- even those who recognized the importance of withholding the
baby food-- with the belief that his neighbors all embrace the cowbird
baby, and would, and legally could, punish him for refusing to cough up
cowbird-food on demand.
Each of those neighbors behave as they do, in turn, out of
the same ignorance and the same resultant fears.
All told, the "cowbird state" scheme became a perfect scam
the moment the ignorance on which it relies reached a critical threshold
of distribution.
But the scheme remains a mere tissue of lies. All that is
needed to shred the evil thing is a stiff wind of truth, raised by those who
have come to know it.

NOTE: Let me clarify what is meant by "the storm". This
does NOT mean going into a courtroom or an IRS agent's office (whether
in person or otherwise) and slapping down a studly brief laying out the
truth about the tax.
Rather, "the storm" means a blizzard of awakening
insertions into the public consciousness
from every quarter; a swarm of attacks in the
public square on the edifice of lies; and the unveiling of a
blazing light by thousands of candles all at the same time,
illuminating the path to the truth to as many
Americans as possible. "Storm" should be taken in same sense as
in the expression "storming the castle".
Here is a good example of
real "storming".
The studly brief thing is important, and when an actual
legal contest has arisen, such things cannot be foregone. If nothing
else, when the storm has done its work and wrongs are being made right,
a failure to have preserved and defended ones claims by such briefs and
other conventional pleadings will leave one with no recourse.
But only the mass awakening of the American people will
throw water on the witch. It is toward that mass awakening that the most
energy should be devoted, and in the biggest and fastest way possible.

The Virtual Certainty Of Foreign Interference In The
2020 Elections
...thanks to a decades-long corruption of
America's political class.
GEORGE WASHINGTON FAMOUSLY WARNED AMERICA against harboring
affections for any foreign state-- even going so far as to disparage
actual alliances if for more than the brief duration of hot conflict.
Steeped in the wisdom of long experience, and with no personal agenda to
promote, Washington used his last address to the American people at the
end of his presidency to advise his heirs as to a prudent, productive,
and liberty-protective foreign policy.
Washington warned against both affections for other
nations and animosity towards other nations (the entire text of
his warning can be seen
here). For
purposes of this article I am going to editorially consolidate and focus
solely on the "affection" part:
"Nothing is more essential than that
passionate attachments for particular Nations should be excluded; and that, in
place of them, just and amicable feelings towards all should be
cultivated. The Nation, which indulges towards another an habitual fondness, is in some degree a slave. It is a
slave to its affection, which is sufficient to lead it astray from
its duty and its interest.
"A passionate attachment of one Nation
for another produces a variety of evils. Sympathy for the favorite
Nation, facilitating the illusion of an imaginary common interest,
in cases where no real common interest exists, and infusing into one
the enmities of the other, betrays the former into a participation
in the quarrels and wars of the latter, without adequate inducement
or justification. It leads also to concessions to the favorite
Nation of privileges denied to others, which is apt doubly to injure
the Nation making the concessions; by unnecessarily parting with

I need hardly spend the pixels to name Israel as the nation on
behalf of which America's political class has subjected the rest of
us to the "variety of evils" against which George Washington warns
us.
IT IS TRUE THAT BRITAIN shares with us most closely our
cultural background, and is viewed with affection by many Americans for
that reason. But in practical terms Britain is held in contempt and
treated as a U.S. poodle. The same is true of the other Anglophone
nations.
Similarly, United States policy toward Saudi Arabia and
Egypt can be criticized as overly forgiving. George W. Bush was famously
photographed walking hand in hand with Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah in
2005. Donald Trump has been known to go dancing with Abdullah's
brethren, and heaps praise upon Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, who seized power in
Egypt in a coup overthrowing the popularly-elected government of Mohamed
Morsi and featuring the murder of thousands of protestors.
But while some with interests in the benefitting industries
self-servingly appreciate Saudi Arabia's arms purchases, and both Saudi
Arabia and Egypt are viewed with some favor due to their (often)
sotto voce cooperation with (or perhaps, subordination to) Israel,
to the leadership of neither are
invitations to address Congress extended.
Likewise, to neither Saudi Arabia, nor Egypt-- nor Britain,
for that matter-- do most members of Congress make pilgrimages upon
taking office,
as they do to Israel. On behalf of none of these others are there
measures introduced in Congress, with the support of the White
House, to punish criticism of their policies and practices. Only Israel
is treated to these extraordinary forelock tugs.
INDEED, THE REMARKABLE SLAVISHNESS OF THE US POLITICAL
CLASS TOWARD ISRAEL is so lick-spittle and abject that Nancy Pelosi--
Speaker of the US House of Representatives--
has actually said, on camera:
“[I]f this Capitol crumbled to the ground, the one thing
that would remain is our commitment to our aid…and I don’t even call it
aid…our cooperation with Israel. That’s fundamental to who we are.”
Pelosi is far from alone-- indeed, it is hard to name any
national politician of any stature who hasn't said the same or its
equivalent, or wouldn't, do so, if put to the question.
For decades, United States foreign policy has been a tool
of Israeli interests generally, and the American people have been
compelled to sacrifice their own well-being for the well-being of
Israelis to the tune of $billions annually.
AS FAR BACK AS 1963, Israel was suspected of secretly
developing nuclear weapons, and John Kennedy was demanding access to
Israel's Dimona reactor site due to suspicions that it was a secret
nuclear-weapons facility, despite Israel denials and the prior
presentation of a Potemkin version of the facility to an American
inspection team. See

Not long after these increasingly impatient demands began
to escalate Kennedy was conveniently disappeared into the ground. Lyndon
Johnson, a fawning, religiously-deluded Israeli sycophant, was elevated
to the presidency in Kennedy's place, and the inspection and oversight
demands ceased. (In 1986, Israeli nuclear technician
Mordecai Vanunu
revealed extensive details of his country's nuclear programs and
arsenal, including the true history of the Dimona facility. In 2004,
Vanunu declared that JFK's assassination was Israel's reaction to
Kennedy's pressure to inspect the facility.)
OVER THE LAST 19 YEARS, the betrayal of America in service
to Israel by those at the apex of America's political class has dramatically escalated. The
costs have
extended to tens of thousands of American lives lost and ruined, and to
the heavy compromise of the
blessings of liberty and rule of law previously-enjoyed by all of us.
Over that last near-two-decades, since being equipped with
the "new Pearl Harbor" pretext of 9/11, that United States political
elite has pursued a policy of destabilizing and in some cases outright
destroying Israeli neighbors such as Iraq and Syria whose unmolested
presence hindered its expansionist ambitions and resource acquisition.
Likewise, the US has helped horrendous dictatorships in Egypt and Saudi
Arabia suppress popular democratic impulses which might yield
governments less willing to subordinate themselves to Israel than those
which they would replace.
Parallel to the severe oppression of the people of Saudi
Arabia and Egypt and the outright slaughter and displacement of Iraqis
and Syrians (as well as the flattening of infrastructure and
irreplaceable antiquities) has been the even more savage assault on the
people of Iran in an effort to destroy yet another society which is no
natural threat whatever to America but which has been thwarting
Israeli
ambitions to seize water resources in Southern Lebanon (by its support of Lebanese defenses against those
ambitions).
These acute losses have been accompanied by the deep
rooting of what will be generations-enduring implacable hatred of
America in the hearts and minds of millions whose lives
have been ruined by United States actions on behalf of Israeli
interests.
NONE OF THE FOREGOING has ever really had anything to do
with 9/11, of course. Even if it is believed that Osama bin Laden was
behind those events, he was driven from Afghanistan almost immediately
in 2001. Iraq was eventually admitted
even by George Bush to have had
nothing to do with 9/11.
Nor was Syria or Iran ever linked to the events of that
day. Indeed, if any such linkage could be proposed, it would be to the
Saudis, of which bin Laden was one, as were the majority of the
purported hijackers.
Couple all of that with the transparent absurdity and the
wealth of contradictory evidence making clear that the "official story"
of 9/11 being flogged as the justification for all the subsequent bad
behavior by the United States is
nonsense on stilts, and it becomes
plain that everyone in any important position in the political class has
always known full well that 9/11 offers no legitimate justification for
any of the purported responses to the event recited above.
9/11 was just a pretext for what has actually been US
military (and economic) aggression against Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria,
Libya (by virtue of the destabilization of which those set up to attack
Syria were equipped with arms) and Iran. All these aggressions have
benefitted Israel, and all were perpetrated at enormous American expense
of blood and treasure.
All of these aggressions amounted to a dramatic escalation
of recklessness on the part of the political class in its subjugation to
the indefensibly barbaric little apartheid theocracy on the
Mediterranean.
THE QUESTION NATURALLY ARISES: What has happened during
the last 20 years to
change things so dramatically for the worse?
Well...
It turns out that
by at least 2009, Israel had co-opted the US National Security Agency
into
handing over all data collected by the spy agency from 24/7 surveillance
of every American-- in raw (that is, unredacted) form. A risible
fig-leaf in the form of an Israeli promise to ignore and destroy
material concerning American government officials will ease the concerns
of only the extraordinarily gullible over what is obviously the
acquisition by a foreign interest of the means to directly control
American politicians, media moguls and other wielders of power and
influence.
So bold a thing as the creation of a written
memorialization of this criminal arrangement at that point suggests to
me that the same arrangement (or a very similar one) had been in place
for quite some time before 2009, as well, but simply on a more clandestine basis. Either
way, it is undeniable that for a long time now-- and during at least
many of the bizarre, indefensible betrayals of American interests-- over
the last 20 years, Israel has had access to the short hairs of America's
political class and its presstitutes in the MSM (h/t to PCR for that
bon mot).
What do you imagine is the likelihood that this
treasure-trove of surveillance data has been used by Israel to seize
control over (or at the very least, heavily influence) United States foreign and domestic policy? I know I'm a cynic
about this sort of thing, but, judging from the evidence in the record, I'd say: "100%".
Indeed, I'd say that if Israel DIDN'T use this handover for
exactly this purpose, it would be crazy. That doesn't mean I'm approving
of it, of course. I think that the NSA officials who arranged this
handover should be prosecuted for treason, and every officeholder of any
other sort found to have been controlled by Israel should be, too.
I doubt that'll happen unless the mainstream media takes up
this story and makes something of it-- but of course, Israel will have
dirt on those folks, too, right?
ANYWAY, LET'S GET TO THE POINT: In light of the foregoing,
only the most pedestrian of reasoning is needed to conclude beyond
rational doubt that there WILL be foreign interference in the next
election-- both before the event and afterwards. The nominating process
must be suspect; the flow of significant donor support must be suspect;
the selections of appointees and the actual policies to be pursued by
winners of elections (as opposed to the rhetoric
upon which those winners campaigned) must be suspect.
In the end, then, thanks to the corrupt and treasonous
behavior Israel managed to secure from some officials (perhaps through
having gotten some dirt by other means to begin with?) the rest of our
officials must be presumed compromised.
In practical terms, even if you and I really do control who
nominally ends up in office by way of our votes, we will NOT control who
wields power afterwards, or how that power is wielded.

don't you think it would be a good idea to defund the state whose reins
are really held by a foreign power which does NOT act in the interests
of America or Americans, or at least to stop sending YOUR money to where
it will actually only fuel a competing interest?

You've got magic in your hands, if you will use it...
I HAVE LATELY BURNED A LOT OF PIXELS encouraging people to take advantage of
CtC's status as the
singular solution to concerns of privacy activists,
transparency activists, 9/11 truth activists and opponents of the increasingly
authoritarian, expensive, immoral and dangerous security state generally. That solution-status is a
superpower whose wielder can pull large numbers from these activist communities
into ours and move us much closer to final-victory critical mass.
Unfortunately, having never been copied on anything sent
into any of these activist communities, I fear that my
encouragements in this regard are falling on deaf ears. Perhaps folks
are failing to grasp that anyone facing harassment, resistance or
grief from a tax agency-- now or in the future-- who hasn't vigorously
pursued this sort of being-the-storm project has or will have only himself to blame.
But I live in hope, so...
BELOW YOU WILL SEE a handful of "memes" I've put together
in order to facilitate this activist-community outreach project. I hope that with the thing
being made as simple as just attaching these images to tweets and GABs
with suitable messages and hashtags, or posting them on facebook walls
or newsgroup pages, maybe you all will get going with this zero-cost,
high-payback play?
Here are the first batch of memes (to which I might add
more, and you certainly can do so as well):
MOST OF YOU PROBABLY ALREADY HAVE contacts in one or more
of the communities addressed with these messages. If not direct
contacts, you will regularly see tweets, GABs and posts from those folks
or about these issues.
All that is necessary is to post/tweet/GAB these memes as
original expressions or as replies (or as illustrations accompanying
original or reply expressions). Especially post them on websites of the
related activists, whether directly (if possible) or as comments or
replies to articles and so forth on those webpages.
Finding places to post is easy. Just google "privacy
activists" or "wikileaks supporters" (or "save Julian Assange") or "the
truth about 9/11" or "the truth about Russia hacking the DNC". Each such
search will bring up a great starting line-up of pages and
activist-enclaves dedicated to each of these issues.
Every participant in each of the pages and enclaves is a
self-selected enthusiast for the one means by which the evil they decry
can be vanquished. They just don't know it yet.
SO, C'MON, PEOPLE! This is EASY.
And the payoff could be huge-- and the best thing you ever
did for yourself.
But nothing will happen unless YOU get to work.

creative self in sending and "selling" these links. Do memes; make
gifs; respond to everything in the news that would be or have been
better had the state been small, or if Americans kept their money
for their own uses.

apply these perspectives, you will see a dozen things of which you
can make use in awakening other Americans to the virtues of having
the income tax correctly administered. Please, for my sake, for your
own sake, for the sake of your children and their future, make that
use.

Regarding Trolleries
(Deceitful efforts to discourage Americans from
learning the truth about the "income tax")
FOR ALL THE YEARS SINCE 2003 when
CtC was first published, the government has engaged in a
concerted effort to frighten people away from its truths. This
effort involves official government websites and press releases
touting an occasional court ruling that appears to be at odds
with some
CtC-revelation (but without details sufficient to expose the
real substance of the ruling)--
and sometimes even more mendacious behavior.
Are the presentations and
resources offered on this site and in my other work of any value to you?
Tim Kendrick has posted
a video
on YouTube regarding donations. I didn't know what to do about
it to begin with; I don't do what I do intending for anyone to
feel obligated in any way.
But of course, no one IS obligated. I will continue
to make my work freely-available here, and in my books for only
the cost of a cheap paperback.
Thus, even though I post it here below, Tim's very
thoughtful personal resolution and encouragement to others is
just an invitation for consideration by those who may not be
conscious of the fact that I can't do what I do without support.

Are You Having Trouble Spreading The

believe about something as entrenched and significant as the
income tax is basically nonsense. So here's a way to help
cut through the resistance:
Ask your listener how he or she would react if
you were to show an announcement from the Commissioner of
Internal Revenue admitting that the tax doesn't apply to the
earnings of most Americans and is misapplied most of the
time because people don't understand how it works? Or how
about if you showed a ruling from the Supreme Court saying
the same?
Now you just have to explain that
you're going to show exactly those things-- but because
the state really doesn't want people to know this, these
things haven't been said quite as forthrightly as we would
all wish. It's going to take a bit more work to take these
admissions in than is sufficient for just reading a press
release. But it'll be worth the effort...
IF YOU'RE NOT SPREADING THIS LINK with every bit of
energy you can, to school libraries, homeschool
families and community groups, your neighbors, your
family members, your pastors and
co-congregationalists, journalists, lawyers, CPAs,
members of congress, tax-agency workers, Wikipedia,
Anonymous, WikiLeaks, the Tax Foundation, everyone
in the "tax honesty" movement, the 9/11 truth
movement, other activist movements and everyone
else,
you have only yourself to blame for your
troubles with the tax, and a whole lot else of which
you might complain. It's on you.
WRITE A NICE, FRIENDLY AND BRIEF introductory note
explaining what will be seen at the link-- cryptic
is bad; excited is good-- and then send this WMI
(weapon of mass instruction) far and wide.
Remember: Real Americans don't accommodate fog, lies and a sliding scale of
adherence to the rule of law. Real American men and women stand up for the
truth and the law, come what may, knowing that it is only by setting the bar
at the top and enforcing it, come what may, that liberties are secured.

I have just finished reading William Shirer’s Berlin
Diary. (This may not fascinate you, but I am coming to something.) I first
encountered it in high school. It is of course Shirer’s account as a
correspondent in Germany of the rise of the Nazis. Most of it is well known to
the educated. The Nazis, who had control over the domestic press, convinced the
German population that the Poles were threatening Germany, as plausible as
Guatemala threatening the United States. The Poles were said to be committing
atrocities against Germans.
Then the Reich, with no justification whatever, having
absolute air superiority, attacked Poland, bombing undefended cities and killing
huge numbers of people. It was a German pattern several times repeated. Many
reporters told of the smell of rotting bodies, of refugees dying of hunger and
thirst. Today the Reich is endlessly remembered as a paragon of evil. It was.
How did Nazi Germany differ from the United States
today? There is the same lying. Washington insisted that Iraq was about to get
nuclear weapons, biological agents, that it had poisonous gas. None of this was
true. The government, unimpeded by the media, persuaded over half of the
American population that Iraq was responsible for Nine-Eleven. Now it says that
Iran works to get nuclear weapons, and of course that the Russians are coming.
The American press, informally but strictly controlled, carefully doesn’t
challenge any of this.
Having prepped the American public as the Nazis
prepped theirs, Washington unleashed a savage attack against Iraq,
deliberately destroying infrastructure, leaving the country without
power or purified water. The slaughter was godawful. But, said America,
the war was to rid the Iraqi people of an evil dictator, to bring them
democracy, freedom, and human rights. (The oil was entirely incidental.
The oil is always incidental.)
FRED IS USUALLY A LOT OF FUN TO READ, but not so much this time.
Usually you get the sense that Fred's tongue is firmly in cheek tongue in cheek,
but this time it feels like that tongue is being bitten in order to keep Fred's
words less strident than they otherwise would be.
I kinda wish Fred had just let go, myself... Now, as
we are about to start a new year and are in "resolution" season, it is a
fit time for this kind of, "Wake up, you sleepwalking morons" article,
and stronger would have been better. We really are in an ugly spot, and
it needs to be called out, and loudly.
EVEN MORE, THOUGH, what needs to be done is to get America
OUT of this spot. It's a shame Fred doesn't know
the solution,
and so doesn't share it with his many readers.
Maybe someone will figure out a way to tell him...

Hendrickson is also a widely-read essayist on

Hendrickson's business career has included nearly a
decade-and-a-half at the leading edge of the renewable-energy
industry, both as Director of Purchasing and Materials
Management and member of the R&D board at Starpak Energy
Systems, the mid-west's then-largest solar heating and
energy-recovery-and re-utilization company; and as founder and
president of AFJ Inc., a high-efficiency lighting design,
manufacture and installation firm.
Beginning in the mid-1990s and continuing for the
twelve years before his present full-time focus on the
restoration of the rule of law in America, Hendrickson directed
purchasing activities for the $84 million-a-year
multi-family-housing division of the Farmington Hills, Michigan
branch of Edward Rose and Sons, with responsibility for 18,000+
apartments, direct supervision of 35 technicians and agents, and
incidental authority over several hundred divisional workers.
He also ran the division's 10 cable television earth-station and
distribution systems in four states, and designed and
administered the company's website.
On rather the other end of the spectrum, amidst
these more mundane pursuits Hendrickson co-founded and was the
primary creative force behind a small
board- and
card-game company that enjoyed a modest success for several
years.
Hendrickson makes his home in southeast Michigan,
with his wife and two children. He is currently working on his
next book.
