What Is Really Being Protected By All The Tax Dollars Taken From You It's not you or your kids... QUESTION FOR YOU, Mr. or Ms. Average American: Do you think the "security" on which the Leviathan state spends enormous amounts of wealth taken from people like you is DEFENSIVE security? That is, do you think the security provided is YOUR security as a free and physically-safe person? I'm afraid not... Here's the truth: There is NO military threat against you or those you love from ANY quarter. Nor is there any "terrorist" threat against which the United States military-industrial complex or the "security state" protects you. None. Once the United States socked away enough nukes to obliterate the world (and thus, to obliterate any aggressor), we were 100% secure from any attack by any group large and organized enough to otherwise be any threat at all. At the very least, any potentially-threatening entity-- be it Russia or China or the Islamic Caliphate-- knows that a military attack on the USA will result in their own obliteration, either directly and singly, or along with the rest of the world. And frankly, even without the nukes the USA has always been utterly unassailable militarily. Though always reluctant to quote a monster like Abraham Lincoln, even he got this one very right (and even presciently) when he said, “From whence shall we expect the approach of danger? Shall some trans-Atlantic military giant step the earth and crush us at a blow? Never. All the armies of Europe and Asia...could not by force take a drink from the Ohio River or make a track on the Blue Ridge in the trial of a thousand years. No, if destruction be our lot we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of free men we will live forever or die by suicide.” AS FOR "TERRORISTS", even though Washington's neo-con foreign policy predictably produces a ton of hostility toward us, and a lot of defensive violence against our troops where they are invading and occupying other people's countries, foreign or foreign-inspired terrorists are 1.) not a statistically-meaningful threat to any single person or place in America, and are 2.) incapable of being defended against by military means, or any other means, in any event. It's this simple and this inarguable: There is no foreign or foreign-inspired or Islamist terrorist impulse targeting the USA. If there were, we would be suffering terrorist attacks, which we would be incapable of preventing. There are no effective prophylactics against such attacks. One guy with $500 can park a junk car on a bend in the tracks of any Amtrak route. One guy with $500 can slap together an IED and toss it into the TSA queue in any airport. These acts and a thousand more like them cannot be prevented. They HAVE NOT been prevented. We haven't suffered from them for the simple reason that no one is engaged in any terrorist "jihad" against us. Both the "military threats" and "terrorist threats" flogged as justifications for Leviathan's "security" budget are HOBGOBLINS. They are bs, pure and simple. "The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary." - H. L. Mencken HERE'S WHAT ALL THE "SECURITY THREAT" BREATHLESSNESS is really all about: Getting you to quietly (or even enthusiastically) put huge amounts of your wealth into the hands of the state. That money is then dished-out in benefits to connected players-- both American and foreign; and both private and governmental-- who buy offices for US politicians with both money and propaganda and then pull those politicians' strings so as to end up getting back much more than was invested. (See some detailed discussion of the process here, if necessary.) In short, it is all just the cynical, exploitative game of which Mencken speaks, with you as the target. And, of course, it's not just monetary wealth that gets snookered away from you. The blood and future of many of our young people are also sacrificed on the "security theater" altar. Many of the benefits paid out to investors take the form of mercenary deployments of our soldiers on behalf of other countries. The moral wealth of the American people is spent away, as well, since these mercenary deployments, and the munitions-acquisition and logistical support which are another way in which the investment dividends are realized, result in the deaths of many, many foreign men, women and children. IN LIGHT OF ALL THIS, isn't the deeply-important civic duty of every American to employ his or her power over the public purse achingly clear? Let me return to Dishonest Abe to wrap this one up. Even this guy, as contemptuous of the rule of law as he was, and as enamored as he was with the "unitary executive" and practical power politics, recognized the core reality of practical politics of which I speak here in calling Americans to their civic responsibilities. Breaking with his usual practice and actually speaking the simple truth, Lincoln announced his willingness to burn the Southern states to the ground in his first inaugural address on March 4, 1861. His reason for the threat was to keep the South paying the imbalanced tariff for the benefit of Northern interests which was the real cause behind its move for independence and the Northern move for conquest. Paying homage to practical political reality at the same time that he made the threat, Abe offered this unambiguous acknowledgement of the Founders Constitutional design of leaving control over Washington's fuel supply in the hands of the citizenry when he provided this caveat to his horrific threat, "Doing this I deem to be only a simple duty on my part; and I shall perform it, unless my rightful masters, the American people, shall withhold the requisite means..." Just as you say, Abe... So, let's throw a bone to the statists who worship Lincoln as their patron saint, people. Let's take our guidance on the subject of withholding from Father Abraham.

A New Press Release Perhaps you can all help get it out there as quickly and widely as possible... November 3: An Historic Date In American History Commerce Twp., Michigan: 15 years ago this 3rd of November, 2018, the very first 100% income tax refund in modern American history was issued by the United States. That $10,152.96 refund was of everything withheld during 2002 as Social security, Medicare and normal federal income taxes from the $58,965 salary of Peter E. Hendrickson. Hendrickson's deep research into the history of the tax, the judicial decisions concerning its nature and the fine print in tax law which is rarely seen by anyone, even IRS officials and judges, had revealed an actually quite limited scope to the tax. That research had also exposed a structural design by which people who have actually done nothing taxable are made to seem as though they had, causing the tax to be much more widely applied over the last 80 years or so than necessary or proper. Deploying his unique knowledge, Hendrickson simply rebutted the misrepresentation of his earnings on which the IRS typically relies in determining tax liability. After what ended up being an extraordinary amount of attention to his claims by the tax agency, he received that first complete refund. Even before that initial proof of concept, Hendrickson had published his research and findings in a 2003 book, 'Cracking the Code- The Fascinating Truth About Taxation In America' (ISBN 0-9743936-0-6). By the time Hendrickson's own second complete refund issued a year later (of everything withheld from him in 2003), more and more Americans were doing the same. At the time of this writing more than 250,000 such complete refunds have been made to tens of thousands of American men and women by the United States and dozens of state and local governments, each after being heavily-vetted by the tax agency responsible. The aggregate total value of this improperly withheld property which has thus been recovered by these well-informed folks is in the $billions. In a fascinating side-note, during the entire time that all the refunds have issued-- week after week, month after month and year after year-- the United States has been struggling to suppress Hendrickson's research and discourage its use. This effort has even involved phony criminal charges against Hendrickson, of such a blatantly-contrived nature as to involve a refusal by a federal court to let jurors see the actual text of statutes involved in the charges while instructing them to deliberate using prosecution-written substitutes for those statutes, instead. Even Hendrickson's wife was eventually attacked as part of the suppression effort, being charged with "criminal contempt of court" for refusing to replace the joint returns filed by the couple which produced those first two complete refunds with false returns dictated to her by the government. The character of Doreen Hendrickson's lawless "prosecution" is best revealed in this instruction given to her jury at the government's insistence: "[I]t is not a defense to the crime of contempt that the court order that the defendant is accused of violating was unlawful or unconstitutional." But perhaps the most telling indication of the corruption involved in these assaults on both Hendrickson and his wife is the fact that even as each languished in prison (Hendrickson for 24 months, from 2010 to 2012, and his wife for 19 months, from 2015 to 2016 and again in early 2018), the same United States prosecuting them for pretended issues with their tax filings delivered tens of thousands of refunds to other Americans week after week during the whole time in response to effectively identical filings. Are You Having Trouble Spreading The Word? SKEPTICISM (SOMETIMES INVOKED BY FEAR) IS TO BE EXPECTED when you're trying to explain to someone that everything they've been encouraged their whole lives to believe about something as entrenched and significant as the income tax is basically nonsense. So here's a way to help cut through the resistance: Ask your listener how he or she would react if you were to show an announcement from the Commissioner of Internal Revenue admitting that the tax doesn't apply to the earnings of most Americans and is misapplied most of the time because people don't understand how it works? Or how about if you showed a ruling from the Supreme Court saying the same? Now you just have to explain that you're going to show exactly those things-- but because the state really doesn't want people to know this, these things haven't been said quite as forthrightly as we would all wish. It's going to take a bit more work to take these admissions in than is sufficient for just reading a press release. But it'll be worth the effort... *****

***** About The Author Pete Hendrickson is possibly the most effective lawyer in history, even while never having set foot in a law school, nor ever being a card-carrying member of "the bar". He is the first American in history to secure a complete refund of Social Security and Medicare ‘contributions’ withheld from his earnings (along with all other property taken for federal taxes); further, since 2003 students of his legal analyses and arguments in ‘Cracking the Code- The Fascinating Truth About Taxation In America’’ (CtC), and its sequel, 'Was Grandpa Really a Moron?' have been routinely retaining and recovering billions of dollars which otherwise-- wrongly, but as a matter of course-- would have gone to federal or state government treasuries. This despite concerted efforts by government to suppress his work, and in some cases vigorously oppose the claims by his students. Hendrickson is also a widely-read essayist on matters of politics, public policy and law; many of these works are collected in his second book, ‘Upholding the Law And Other Observations’. He is a member of Mensa; an award-winning artist; and has paid his dues as a youth soccer coach. He is a long-time political activist as well, and has served as co-chair and platform convention delegate of Michigan’s largest county Libertarian Party organization; as a consultant to the National Right to Work Foundation and Citizens for a Sound Economy; as a member of the Heartland Institute; and as a member of the International Society for Individual Liberty. He is a frequent radio-show guest on stations across the country. Hendrickson's business career has included nearly a decade-and-a-half at the leading edge of the renewable-energy industry, both as Director of Purchasing and Materials Management and member of the R&D board at Starpak Energy Systems, the mid-west's then-largest solar heating and energy-recovery-and re-utilization company; and as founder and president of AFJ Inc., a high-efficiency lighting design, manufacture and installation firm. Beginning in the mid-1990s and continuing for the twelve years before his present full-time focus on the restoration of the rule of law in America, Hendrickson directed purchasing activities for the $84 million-a-year multi-family-housing division of the Farmington Hills, Michigan branch of Edward Rose and Sons, with responsibility for 18,000+ apartments, direct supervision of 35 technicians and agents, and incidental authority over several hundred divisional workers. He also ran the division's 10 cable television earth-station and distribution systems in four states, and designed and administered the company's website. On rather the other end of the spectrum, amidst these more mundane pursuits Hendrickson co-founded and was the primary creative force behind a small board- and card-game company that enjoyed a modest success for several years. Hendrickson makes his home in southeast Michigan, with his wife and two children.
