The Issue Of Kamala Harris's Eligibility For
Office

I'VE RECENTLY SEEN CLAIMS that
Kamala Harris, while born in the USA, is the
child of non-citizens in America merely on
student visas. If so then she is not
qualified to be vice-president, or even
senator, for that matter.
A child of non-citizen parents does
not acquire citizenship simply by being born
on American soil--
myths about so-called
"birthright citizenship" notwithstanding.
The law on this is perfectly clear and
unambiguous;
see it laid out and explained here.
AS NOTED IN THAT ABOVE-LINKED
ARTICLE AND ANALYSIS, the
Wong Kim Ark
ruling by the Supreme Court in
1898 which is relied-upon by advocates of the
mistaken "birthright citizenship" as
supporting their notions, is wrongly
decided. The court in that case failed to
recognize the distinction between United
States and state citizenship that is the
heart of the 14th Amendment provision in
question-- perhaps due to poor briefing by
the litigants in the case.
But even if Wong were
soundly decided, it would not avail
Harris in her claim, if indeed her parents
were merely in America on student visas at
the time of Harris' birth.
The Wong court reached
its conclusions in Wong's favor based solely
on the legal residency of Wong's parents,
who were found by the court to have been
"permitted by the United States to reside
here" and to, in fact, have "permanent
domicil and residence in the United States".
The court reasoned that in seeking and
establishing legal residency Wong's parents
had affirmatively and deliberately
relinquished their former allegiances and
become allegiant
to the USA, thus-- and only thus-- bringing
them under the relevant provisions of the
14th Amendment.
If Harris's
parents were in the country merely on visas
at the time of her birth,
as I understand to be the case, this would
not meet the standard laid down by the
Wong court.
"Resident" is a condition of specific legal
meaning, as stated here, in Bouvier's Law
Dictionary, 1856:
RESIDENT, persons. A person
coming into a place with intention to
establish his domicil or permanent
residence, and who in consequence actually
remains there. Time is not so essential as
the intent, executed by making or beginning
an actual establishment, though it be
abandoned in a longer, or shorter period.

Obtaining
or being in the country by virtue of a
student visa is merely visiting on a
deliberately and declared temporary basis,
and not for purposes of, or with permission
to, establish permanent residency. Entry
into a country on a student visa
involves no relinquishment of prior national
allegiance and replacement of it with
allegiance to the USA either affirmatively and
deliberately or even casually and by
accident, and being here on such a visa does
not constitute legal residence.
In fact,
particular legal steps must be taken by
student visa holders in order to convert
their status to one with the potential for
lawful residence of the sort on which the
Wong court rested its decision.

In sum, even if
it were correct overall in its finding
of a "birthright citizenship" right on
behalf of Wong Kim Ark (as it is), on its terms
the Wong
ruling
offers nothing on behalf of Kamala Harris'
claims. If the student visas thing is sound,
the Senate should initiate proceedings to
evict Harris (and I suppose it should
consider examining its votes during the time
she has been seated against the possibility
that the outcomes of some of the squeakers
should be reversed...).

Minnesota Liberty Key
THE EXCELLENT TONY JACKSON has
stepped up and produced a "Lockdown" Liberty

off to Tony!
Tony now lives in South
Dakota, where no key is needed since its
sensible and respectful governor did NOT
presume to assume dictatorial powers and
wreak havoc on the law, property and liberty
rights and the economy. But he had occasion
to travel into neighboring Minnesota last
week, and so followed the models I have
posted here for Michigan, Texas,
Virginia, Kentucky, Wyoming, Georgia,
Louisiana and Wisconsin to produce a version
based on The North Star State's
Constitution.

doing your part to constrain Tim Waltz to
the letter of the People's law. If you live
in a state not already equipped with a
Liberty Key, follow Tony's example and crank

Seriously, it's typically no
more than a two-hour exercise. Considering
what's at stake, it would be well-worth
the effort if a two-thousand hour
exercise.
LAST WEEK THE CDC posted, with
no notice or discussion from the MSM of
which I am aware, the following admission
that a mere 6% of even its
wildly over-puffed supposed C19
fatalities were actually attributable to the
scary "novel coronavirus":
Do you get this? Per the CDC,
C19 could not be said to have been anything
but merely present (or
suspected to be present) in fully 94% of
all deaths attributed to the "2020 plague".
This means that per the
national fatality figures reported by Johns
Hopkins University as of Saturday, August
29, 2020, only 10,963 Americans have
actually died from COVID-19, nationwide. At most, that
disease is merely suspected or alleged to
have been a contributing factor in other
deaths.
In those other deaths 2.6
seriously-life-threatening conditions, on
average, were already in play. One or
more of those other morbidities are as
likely as not to have been the actual cause
of death in each such case, and as like as
not would have brought about the death of
the victim even without the presence of C19
(if it was present at all)!
And yet it is on the basis of
that alleged horrific plague that the
American economy and rule of law have been
shitcanned.
It is on the basis of that
alleged horrific plague that we're all
supposed to submit ourselves to a "new
normal" of masks, isolation in other forms,
tracking, and ultimately "vaccine passports"
as requirements for being permitted to
engage in the routine exercise of what used
to be recognized as our unalienable rights.
OF COURSE, ALL OF THIS HAS long
been known to anyone who has been paying
attention to any real sources of information
(such
as the summary here), as opposed to MSM
fear-porn pimps. But this admission is
significant nonetheless, due to its source.
Americans should long-since
have been storming statehouses across the
country, pitchforks and torches in hand.

assault being made on their liberties since

P.P.S. Despite the admissions
made by the CDC shown above, the truth of
which must long have been known to people
like those at John Hopkins University, they
and other institutional fraudsters continue
to announce scary big numbers of C19 deaths.
And they do so without so much as a
"possible" or "suspected" or "alleged" in
sight.
Co-conspirators in the MSM
parrot these big, scary numbers in turn,
apparently in order to keep the panic-- and
the support it provides for their "new
normal" agenda-- alive. All these people
need to be denounced for that "fake news"
crime at every turn, and happily, now
everyone is equipped with the evidence with
which to do so in one concise little
paragraph from the CDC.
(Revealingly, in my mind, at
least one of the MSM culprits tips its hand
by including a coy disclaimer in at least
some of its presentations of the fake news.

The Real
Medical Threat Is Immune-System Compromise
From Masks And Social Distancing
AMONG MANY OTHER
PSYCHOPATHOLOGIES rampant in the America
right now is the bizarre hostility on
display from masked Kool-Aid consumers
toward those who show a clear head and
respect for the rule of law by refusing
illegal orders from executive departments
and agencies. The confused proposition
behind this hostility is that the unmasked
thereby endanger the community.
In fact, it is the wearing of
masks, and the other "social distancing"
practices, that endanger the community.
These practices hamper or thwart the natural
social interactions and the exchange of
bio-resources by which immune systems are
kept healthy (as
discussed and documented here). Those
NOT wearing masks and thereby showing
sensible perspectives on the primacy of rule
of law should be the ones blazing away at
the selfishness of the mask-wearers whose
effort to protect themselves by shameless
impositions on everyone else are actually
making the entire population more vulnerable
to not only C19 but every other pathogen out
there.
In short, it is the
mask-wearers, and those who encourage the
practice among all others, who are actual
plague vectors. Those imposing mask mandates
(whether from statehouses or at the doors of
retail establishments and workplaces) are
setting the country up for a real
medical crisis under the pretext of
addressing a hoax crisis.
And they do so by standing
common-sense on its head.
Obviously if some folks are
terrified of catching a disease, it is
on them to inconvenience solely
themselves, by self-isolating, donning
PPE when venturing out into the hostile
world, and disinfecting all that comes into
their homes, and so forth. In this fashion
they can protect themselves completely and,
more importantly, appropriately-- because
these timid folk have no right to impose
inconveniences upon the rest of us on behalf
of their phobias.
AS AN EXTENSION OF THIS POINT,
let's anticipate the issue of vaccines. To
the degree that those boosting the vaccine
idea believe such a prophylactic will
furnish protection, only their own embrace
of the device is needed for their risks to
be eliminated.
That is, those in fear can take
the vaccine (if one is ever produced), and
will afterward require nothing whatever from
the rest of us to be safe from the disease.
In no way is there any rational argument for
everyone be required to take the vaccine,
and more than it has ever been found
necessary (or argued to be remotely lawful)
to compel everyone to take the flu vaccine.
Those needing (or wanting) special
protection from the aliment get the vaccine,
the rest of us make are own choices,
unmolested.
This is simple common sense,
and also simple consistency with American
principles of liberty and law. But those
behind the pandemic hoax want
vaccinations of everyone, by force if
necessary, whether for the money it will
bring them from participation in the
creation of the treatment, or other reasons
(some
of which are briefly discussed here).
This push for universal
vaccination needs to be strangled in its
crib. A good way to accomplish that, or at
least prepare the ground for it, is to
denounce and debunk the "universal masking
and social distancing" mandate nonsense
which rests on the same assault on common
sense.
By the same token, a failure to
denounce and refuse the universal
"mask"-mandates and the rest sets the stage
for success of the universal vaccine
argument.
Think ahead, people, and get on
your feet.

THIS VIDEO PROJECTS THE PROGRESS of a nuclear exchange between Russia and
the United States. It's frightening, as it should
be, as well as sobering and instructive. My only
criticisms are, first of all, that it fails to
account for the imbalance that will now be present
in any such exchange due to
the new Russian
hypersonic weapons.
Secondly, the video fails to account
for China's contribution to the exchange against the
US, which is a virtual certainty. China knows that
if Russia goes, and the US survives, it goes soon
after. So, that will not be allowed to happen.
CAN YOU EVEN IMAGINE how abysmally
stupid someone would have to be to continue to doubt
or deny that
CtC has revealed the actual, complete and insurmountable
truth about the income tax in light of the overwhelming
mountain of
historical,legal,
practical and
logical evidence to the contrary? (Not to mention

outright lies and even
ludicrous hoaxes the executive and some corrupt
members of the judiciary have been caught at in desperate

How To Tell RINOs From Elephants

Conservatives frequently
dub Republican politicians they deem insufficiently
committed to “free enterprise, private property, and
limited government” Republicans in Name Only, or
RINOs. But are they really phony Republicans?
“The Republican
Party was always, from its inception, the
party of big government in America,” Thomas
DiLorenzo observed in his book Lincoln
Unmasked. As the successor to the Whig
Party, the GOP was in many ways the
antithesis of the Democratic Party, which in
the mid-1800s still clung to its
Jeffersonian roots. Democrats favored small,
decentralized, constitutional government.
Republicans stumped for high protective
tariffs, “internal improvements” (that
invariably benefited their cronies), and
central banking, as the first Republican
president, Abraham Lincoln, described his
own platform in 1832, when he made his
initial foray into politics as a Whig. Even
the GOP’s supposed opposition to slavery —
the party actually sought to protect the
“peculiar institution” via constitutional
amendment — “was motivated much more by
politics and economics than by
humanitarianism,” noted DiLorenzo.
Lincoln himself, in
addition to being a white supremacist (when
that term actually meant something),
launched an unconstitutional and
exceptionally brutal war against states that
simply wanted to go their own way, suspended
civil liberties, arrested (and, in one case,
even deported) opposition politicians, and
signed legislation that significantly
expanded the federal government. DiLorenzo
pointed out that the term “New Deal”
originated not with the Franklin Roosevelt
administration but with an 1865 article in a
Raleigh, North Carolina, newspaper:
The newspaper urged
North Carolinians to rejoin the Union and
enjoy the government handouts that had been
created by what economists Mark Thornton and
Robert Ekelund call “the flurry of new laws,
regulations, and bureaucracies created by
President Lincoln and the Republican Party.”
These included the Homestead Act, Morrill
Land-Grant College Act, Department of
Agriculture, transcontinental railroad land
grants, tax-subsidized mail delivery,
subsidized railway mail service, and other
programs, all financed by myriad excise
taxes, ten tariff increases, and the
printing of greenbacks.
The GOP remained
the big-government party into the 20th
century, with presidents such as William
McKinley and Theodore Roosevelt increasing
its size and scope by, among other things,
“trust busting,” creating new regulatory
agencies like the Food and Drug
Administration, and starting the United
States down the road to empire in the
Spanish-American War.
The Democratic
Party’s capture by the Progressives,
signified by the party’s nomination of
Woodrow Wilson in 1912, made the Republican
Party the “conservative” party by default,
not by design. Democrats who remained wedded
to their party’s classical-liberal tradition
felt increasingly out of place, and with the
two parties having rigged the system to
prevent challenges from other parties, the
GOP seemed their only option. As Ronald
Reagan would later put it, “I didn’t leave
the Democratic Party. The party left me.”
While the GOP soon
produced a
president or
two who did actually rein in the
government, it quickly returned to its old
ways. Herbert Hoover’s interventionism, in
contrast to Warren Harding’s relatively
laissez faire approach during the 1920-21
downturn, turned a recession into a major
depression. Rexford Tugwell, one of FDR’s
top advisers, once confessed that
“practically the whole New Deal” — which
kept Hoover’s depression going for another
decade — “was extrapolated from programs
that Hoover started.”
Eventually, the
Republican Party made its peace with the New
Deal — the nomination of middle-of-the-road
Dwight Eisenhower over conservative Robert
Taft in 1952 marked the occasion — and its
subsequent presidential candidates (save
Barry Goldwater) seldom even spoke about
rolling it back. Those who won,
including the former New Deal Democrat
Reagan, all massively increased federal
spending and power.
THE OVERALL LESSON from Tennant's
well-taken observations is this: Political parties
are no place to rest one's hopes for security in
one's rights. They are all fallible, at best, and
more commonly disingenuous if not outright corrupt
and fraudulent in their representations.
Tennant's piece puts me in mind
of a deep wisdom:

Donald Trump is not going to
protect your real interests. He is simply
going to use well-practiced wiles (from
hired help, mostly) to convince you that his
interests-- and those of his clients and
cronies and major contributors-- are your
interests, even though in most cases they
are the opposite of your real interests.
Joe Biden (or whoever is
pulling his strings) offers nothing but the
same eyewash as Trump, just packaged
differently to appeal to a different core
target of marks.
Even
Jo Jorgensen, for whom I urge everyone
to vote this year (and to support in every
possible survey so as to get her into the
debates) represents a party which, though a
world better than the Democrats and
Republicans in principles, truthfulness and
common-sense, is no place in which to trust
your most precious possessions.
YOU must be the only one on
whom you rely for that kind of fidelity and
attention.
YOU must be the one who looks
out for your interests.
And you can only do that by
taking power away from the competing
interests which are in the habit of imposing
their upon you through the political process
and its spoils.
So, DEFUND THE LEVIATHANS!
Don't just close your
eyes and dreamily smile at the thought. Get
up and make it happen.
Spread the knowledge you
already have about the true nature of the
income tax (which restrains state
governments just as it does the federal
government). The simplest way to do this is
to share
this little document with everyone you
can, in every way that you can.
I HAVE DONE MY BEST to lead this country
to liberty from the mis-applied income tax. I have labored
hard. I've shed a lot of sweat, a fair bit of blood
and more than a few tears. But I seem to be pretty poor
at that kind of work.
When I have asked all of you for what I
firmly believe is a necessary resource to move the ball
downfield and give all of us the best chance at justice
and an end to the assault on the rule of law-- simple
testimonial videos requiring nothing from any of you
but the phone in your pocket and three minutes of speaking
from the heart-- I have had only a handful of people
answer my call.
I CAN'T KEEP GOING THIS WAY. I have to
be able to turn my attention away from writing new persuasive
or skepticism-addressing articles week after week, and
toward research, analysis and educational presentations
that will benefit everyone already in this community.
I need time to do some suing, and to bring together
the resources and talent toward that end.
As said, it is my firm belief that your
testimonial videos are the resource that I need to make
big things happen, and they are unquestionably the thing
I need to allow me to turn my attention away from trying
to get horses to drink at the waterhole to which I have

I HATE TO PLAY IT THIS WAY. But I want

I'll tell you a story from when I was coaching
my kids in soccer. Both of my kids at a certain age
in their careers had run into a wall common to all but
the very exceptional. They had gotten to be pretty good,
and they wanted to enjoy the benefits of their hard
work. But the arrival of this interest coincided with
a new self-consciousness which made them reluctant to
risk failing and looking foolish. So, they were hanging
back from seizing the main chance when it appeared,
and driving for the goal.
My solution was to post on the wall of
our dining room a couple of simple points about self-discipline,
the chief of which is this: You can't score a goal if
you don't take a shot.
That's how it is here, too. If you don't
stand up, you are laying down, and you'll never score
that goal.
Here is what my kids live by now, in their
own version of that lesson. I hear it from them all
the time as they excel (accompanied by the sound of
a father's breast swelling with pride): Go hard,
or go home.
You, too. Go hard, or go home.

to post, your financial support, your efforts at spreading
the word, and your beautiful faces and inspiring words,
too. It IS a lot.

that if our bonfire of a state isn't damped, and quickly,
it'll soon burn down the house around us all?
What IS it that firms up your jaw and stiffens
your resolve?
It's time to take off the bushel and

I would like you to think about what it
is that motivates you for a few moments (or all day,
if you like), and then send me your thoughts. I want
to put YOUR reasons to work inspiring folks who don't
yet understand what this is all about.
In this day and age, the most effective
way for you to share your thinking for the benefit of
others is to video-record yourself talking about how
you feel, and explaining what inspires and motivates
YOU.
All you need is a webcam or cell-phone
equipped with a camera. If you don't have, or know how
to use, one of these, have a friend help. (And if
you use a cell-phone, please have the orientation
horizontal, not vertical-- that is, so that the
screen of the phone on which you are watching
yourself while taping looks like a TV or movie
screen.)
If needed, write a little script for yourself.
Better, though, to just speak extemporaneously, after
spending a little time sorting out your thoughts and
getting down into your heart. Perhaps make it a video
of someone in your family, or a close friend, interviewing
you.
Dress "business casual". Be well-groomed.
Keep yourself to no more than 2 or 3 minutes,
and keep in mind that the purpose is
not to educate,
but to INSPIRE, ENCOURAGE and ENERGIZE. Your video will
be one of many to be shared. If you need to go
longer to really say your piece, go for it (but long
or short I may edit if something strikes me as
wandering or off-key or unacceptable).
You needn't feel any obligation to be profound,
and you shouldn't try to explain anything about the
law, other than to say that you have read it and you
know it's on your side. You just need to be sincere,
and uplifting. Your object is to make your audience
want to have what you have, and to be where you are
in your heart.
Don't talk to ME, or to others in the
CtC-educated community. Make remarks that are suited
to the NON-CtC-educated community, and at the same
time, be mindful that you're speaking to an
audience that doesn't yet know ANYTHING about the subject,
and whose first reaction is, "This must be illegal;
this must be dangerous; this is too good to be true."
You want to pull that audience right past such things,
and straight to a focus on truth, morality, and our
American heritage of liberty and the rule of law.
Remember: INSPIRE, ENCOURAGE, ENERGIZE.
Speak about rights. Speak about morality,
and the obligation of a grown-up and responsible person
to speak the truth and to enforce the Constitution.
Speak about everyone's duty
to give to God what is God's, always, and to Caesar
only what is really Caesar's. Speak of your obligation
to respect yourself, and to look out for the current
and future well-being of your children and your fellow
citizens. Speak of
CtC, and what its information has done for your
understanding and resolve. Show the book.
If you have had victories, describe them.
Better still, show them, if possible.
Be clear about just what you accomplished:
EVERYTHING back-- Social Security, Medicare and all;
a "notice of deficiency" closing notice; an on-paper
agreement or acknowledgment that your earnings weren't
subject to the tax and everything withheld or paid-in
was an "overpayment"; a transcript showing all $0s;
or whatever happened.
When you speak of state victories, name
the state. If you had to overcome balkiness from a tax
agency before winning any victory, describe that, too!
If you're in a battle now, speak of your
resolve to uphold the law, come what may--
why you're not discouraged, and why you are not
standing down, not slinking back into the barn, and
not choosing to endorse the lies. Don't get
into details-- your audience is going to have no
idea what a "LTR3176" is, and you will NOT be
capable of explaining it adequately. This is an
subject area concerning which you should speak from
the heart, not the head.
If you haven't
yet begun to act, share the reasons for your decision to do so, and
your plans.
Remember, your purpose is to INSPIRE, ENCOURAGE
and ENERGIZE.
Watch your own video after you
record it and ask yourself: Putting yourself
in the place of someone completely immersed
in "the matrix"-- oblivious to any notions
that you might have been a victim of an
"ignorance tax", and comfortable with the
status quo-- would the video you just made
encourage you to push aside your comforting
illusions and learn the liberating truth? If
not, try again.
Identify yourself. Anonymity is for criminals and self-doubters, not
CtC
warriors. Naming yourself is a requirement, and your
name will appear as a subtitle on the video when I
prepare it for posting, in any event.
Mention what you do for a living, whether
you're a doctor, homemaker, lawyer, trucker, IT guy
or gal, retiree or student. Help people understand
that the company of grown-up activist Americans they
are being invited to join cuts across all demographics
and all interests-- with the common denominator being
respect for the law and love of the principles on which
this great country was founded.
This is your chance to get a LOT accomplished.
We've all had frustrating occasions of
trying to explain all this to a friend, neighbor, family
member or co-worker, only to pile up against the wall
of a mind not yet ready to listen and learn. Here is
your chance to address a self-selected audience of folks
who have themselves decided that it's time for them
to begin paying attention, and have clicked on your
testimonial for exactly that reason.
Further, think about this: You want judges,
bureaucrats, CPAs, lawyers, the HR people where you
work, your pastors, your neighbors and everyone else
to acknowledge the truth about the tax openly and straightforwardly.
How and why would these folks do this if YOU won't?
You want these folks to learn the truth.
Why would they even recognize that there is a truth
to be learned if you won't attest to having learned
it yourself? You've got to stand up, face forward and
chin up and tell these folks that you have studied and
checked and verified and seen the evidence and seen
the government evasions and you know that the tax is
not the capitation that the beneficiary government wants
everyone to think it is but a benign, strictly limited
thing, and that they need to study and learn that, too.
Again, if you have victories to show, that's
nice, and powerful, too. But you don't have to have
victories to display in order to declare your knowledge
of what the law says. I've never flown around the world,
but I've seen the evidence and considered the arguments,
and I'm not hesitant to declare it a sphere...
Even those of you who haven't yet studied
CtC have surely read
this short document, and have verified everything
in it for yourself. You should therefore be declaring
its veracity and its message, loud and proud. Again,
if you won't say it, how can you hope that others will
ever even bother to look at the facts?
Be the change you want to see in the world,
or there won't be any change.
So, please make and send those videos
right away! You can share them with me via a cloud-based
drive space like DropBox, OneDrive.Live.com or GoogleDrive
(if you do GoogleDrive you MUST give access permission to stategroups@losthorizons.com), or
mail DVDs to me at 232 Oriole St., Commerce Twp., Michigan
48382, or even email to me if each file is no more than
20 megs (and you can break a video up if need be-- I
can reassemble them). Render as .mpg or mp4, if possible;
if not, send them how you have them and I'll make them
work.
BTW: An encouraging and inspiring
video will earn you access to the restricted pages
on losthorizons.com and membership in the National
Forum if you have also sent me a recent educated
federal filing and IRS response (or relevant
"return" or "account" transcript). I will be the
judge of whether your submissions qualify
for access, but if you do your best you should do
fine.
Remember, the restoration of institutional
respect for individual rights and the rule of law depends
on enough individuals insisting upon it. Do your part
to let those starting to rub the sleep from their eyes
know that there is a community already waiting for their
fellowship with open arms and open hearts and shining
spirits.

Getting Free Of The "Income" Tax Scheme Is As Easy As
Falling Off A Bike
To get an idea of how today's "income" tax scheme works,
try this little exercise:
Think of the federal government as a guy named Bob,
who lives down the street from you in a town that is
really big on bicycles. Bikes get used for commuting,
deliveries, shopping, etc.. In fact, other than walking,
bicycles are the exclusive form of transportation in
your town.
Your neighbor Bob has a by-the-mile bicycle-renting
business-- "Bob's Bicycles". Bob's Bicycles is far and
away the biggest business in town.
Part of Bob’s success is because he does a lot of contract
business. However, Bob doesn't just get paid by riders
who have signed an agreement with him, or even just
those using Bob's bikes. Bob gets something every time
anybody in town does any riding at all, through an odd
combination of circumstances that took many years to
come together.
Here's how it happened...
Bob's Bicycles was launched long ago by the great grandfather
of the present Bob (Bob IV). Great Grandpa Bob started
out not only with a main location for his contract business--
he also had the bright idea of setting up spots around
town where he parked some of his bikes for use by the
more occasional rider, on an "honor system". Anyone
could take and use one of these bikes, but they were
expected to keep track of their mileage, and send Bob
a "1040 Mileage Ridden/Rent Due Form" (and the appropriate
rent), periodically. The initial design of the form
was like this:
I, ______________,
rode a Bob's Bicycle a total of _____ miles
this year.
At Bob's rental
rate of $.15 per mile, I owe Bob $______
I said that Great Grandpa Bob planned to deal with these
occasional riders on the "honor system", and that's
true. But he liked his money, too, and didn't want to
miss anything that was due him. So, after setting up
the "self-serve" locations, Great Grandpa Bob went around
handing out "W-2, 1099 or K-1 Rider Reporting Forms"
to every other business in town. The forms-- accompanied
by notices that if Bob didn't get his rent from someone
riding a bicycle in connection with any business, he
would sue the company involved-- said:

If you are having an argument
with the IRS or any other tax agency,
You are NOT being presumed to have made “corporate
profit”.
You are NOT being alleged to have received “foreign
income”.
You are NOT entangled in an invisible “adhesion
contract”.
You are NOT being obligated by a law whose subject
is never identified.
You are being targeted because REAL EVIDENCE exists
that YOU PERSONALLY HAD “INCOME” to which the revenue laws apply--
even though that evidence is almost certainly incorrect,
and CAN be corrected.

Doing A Little High-Payoff Math

I know that this can mean the investment of a lot of time, attention
and effort, but although some may imagine otherwise, I don't write
as much as I do because I can't think of any other way to spend
my time...
Furthermore, when you encounter a hyperlink within, or associated
with, the text you are reading, follow it!
It is pretty common these days for web-based material to be littered
with hyperlinks. Sometimes the purpose is to provide definitions
or examples, in order to ensure that folks reading the original
material aren't presented with a word or reference which they don't
understand. Sometimes the links lead to illustrations pertinent
to the original text.
It is common-- and perfectly understandable-- for folks who are
confident that they are familiar with language or references within
the main text they are reading to get in the habit of skipping over
included links. I do it all the time, myself!
However, I very rarely include links for definitional or explanatory
purposes; and when I DO make a link out of text in one page it is
generally to another self-contained page, rather than merely illustrative
material. These other pages contain material the clear understanding
of which I deem highly important for the proper and complete understanding
of the original page. (Links to
CtC, the
Victories pages,
CtC Warriors and so on are obvious exceptions to this general
rule. On the other hand, a link to the victory
Highlights or 'Every
Which Way But Loose' pages, which might seem like such exceptions,
are not. The special selection of victories on those pages, and
the filed docs and tax-agency correspondences included therewith,
themselves constitute highly instructive material which merits careful
attention. Thus care needs to be taken in all cases.)
Please make a habit of clicking on all provided links and at least
looking briefly to ensure that the linked page is one with which
you are completely familiar from another study session.
Finally, please keep in mind that, annoying though it may seem at
first blush (but not, I trust, upon reflection), I constantly tweak
material already posted. Obviously this doesn't mean that every
page is in flux at all times, but it does mean that if you are directed
to a page that IS familiar, it's worthwhile to read it through again
if it's been a while since your last having done so.
