The brainwashing of the American people is deep in the spin cycle, and calls out
loudly for some countervailing, truth-based,
April 11- In 1775, the last execution
for witchcraft in Germany is carried out. In 1876, the American Benevolent and
Protective Order of Elks is established. In 1951, Harry Truman relieves Douglas
MacArthur of command in Korea for insubordination. In 1970, Apollo 13 is
launched. In 2002, an attempted coup fails to oust Hugo Chavez of Venezuela. In
2021, fugitive Daunte Wright is shot while resisting arrest on an outstanding
warrant after a traffic stop by a police officer who claimed to have mistakenly
used her firearm instead of her Taser. Wright's
history of violent crime (and the fact that he was resisting arrest) are
suppressed by the media, and the shooting is used as a pretext for widespread
rioting over supposed systemic police department racism.

Narrative Management
The American people are awash in spin-- so thoroughly
and so relentlessly that the response to the latest output of the
propaganda machine is often reflexive, Pavlovian buy-in-- a
profoundly unhealthy thing. Let's look closely and correctively at
two of the current storylines, concerning events in Ukraine and in
the 2020 election. As a bonus, we'll wrap up with a few words
correcting misperceptions of FRPs, the favorite IRS gimmick in its
efforts to discourage inconvenient refund claims.
The Russian Action In Ukraine Is An
Intervention, And Brings To Mind The Alamo
TWO THINGS HAVE BEEN CONSISTENTLY OMITTED from
reporting in the West on the Russian Special
Military Operation (SMO) which began in February,
closely preceded by Russia's formal recognition of
the Republics of Donetsk and Luhansk. Both are
highly dangerous to the Manichean propaganda flood
with which the West has been steadily inundated for
the last six weeks.
The first omitted fact is that both of these former provinces of
Ukraine had seceded in the face of a relentless,
murderous offensive against their populations by the
usurping "government" in Kiev after
the
US-engineered coup in 2014 which overthrew the
legitimately-elected government of Viktor Yanukovych--
an aggression which had continued for eight long
years. See the reporting on all this by an American
journalist who has been living in the Donbass for
the last eight years:
The second thing omitted from the hypnotic Ukraine
Good, Russia Bad narrative is that in the weeks preceding the
Russian SMO, the Nazi thugs in Kiev (most intensely
represented in their malicious character by the
so-called "Azov Battalion", headquartered in Mariupol)
had amassed 150,000 troops on the eastern border of
Ukraine facing the breakaway region, in preparation
for a genocidal "ethnic cleansing" attack-- the
imminence of which prompted the Russian actions. In
fact, on February 18, six days prior to the
commencement of the Russian SMO,
1,400 artillery strikes from the western Ukraine Nazis
rocked Donetsk and Luhansk.
Instructively, the behavior of the coup-installed
western Ukraine Nazis is much like that of 1836 Mexico
in response to the
independence movement of Texas. Likewise (and also
instructively), Russia's
response to the independence aspirations of the
newly-minted Donetsk and Luhansk Republics is
much as America's was to the actions of the Texans (and to the
oppressions of the Mexican government in trying to
crush the Texans' assertion of independence).
AS THIS VERY SIGNIFICANT MOMENT in the history of
liberty continues to unfold, strive to keep in your
own mind and that of others the
foregoing very important backstory. At the same time
recognize that, just as we all have had that very
important backstory kept from us by Western
governments and their media presstitutes, so, too,
we are being fed falsehoods about "Russian
atrocities" in Ukraine and everything else
going on there, by the most accomplished
dog-waggers in the history of the world.
Recognize that the reason Russian media is now being
rigidly censored here in America is so that you
won't hear or see anything about the subject that
doesn't suit the narrative of those who plotted and
conducted the coup in 2014 (and have long been using
Ukraine
as an opportunity for graft,
evasion of the Biological Weapons Convention,
and as a goad to prompt Russia into a
widely-destabilizing military action in the name of
which further restrictions on the liberties and
prosperity of Western populations can be imposed and
those fastened in place under the pretext of the
"pandemic" can solidify while pushed off the front
burner of public consciousness. (Kit Knightly shares
a few cogent thoughts on this last point
here.)
Keep all of this firmly in mind. And for goodness
sake, awaken to the seriousness of this situation!
Everyone of you should be furiously spreading the
word about
CtC so there's a chance that the lunatic
Leviathan state at whose feet all this can be laid
might get defunded and shrunk down to relative
harmlessness before it's too late.
There's a very good reason the Founders structured
the Constitution so that one thing shielded from the
impulses of an ignorant majority is the extent to
which you can be legally compelled to finance those
impulses. Don't spurn their wisdom.
Your only defense against "official" and collective
insanity and irresponsibility and nihilism is
keeping the state too poor for the commission of
great harms,
as
discussed here. Use that defense!!
IN LIGHT OF THE SERIOUSNESS of the
Ukraine agitprop to which we are being subjected
(and the "pandemic" agitprop it has replaced, for
the moment), I'm a bit reluctant to share even
pretty good material on both that is "tainted" with
humor. That characteristic risks taking
the edge off what should and must be a very
narrow-eyed resolve to denounce the
propaganda and remove everyone responsible from all positions
of trust and honor.
But because I really want everyone to
enjoy this clever and well-produced satire, and
because satire and derision are actually powerful
weapons against official improprieties, I'm going to
share it anyway. I'll rely on that preamble to
ensure that everyone resumes a proper demeanor as
soon as their smiles have begun to fade...
The Election-Rigging Whitmer Kidnapping
Fable Hits A Brick Wall
WE'VE JUST BEEN TREATED TO A PLEASING OUTCOME in the
federal trial of a handful of folks incited into
being patsies of a clever plot to attack Donald
Trump in the autumn of 2020 prior to the election.
In the plot, a dozen men from Michigan and a few
other states let themselves be enveloped by a
roughly equal number of FBI agents (both the
card-carrying kind and the less formal variety) who
promoted the idea of kidnapping and trying Michigan
governor Gretchen Whitmer over her extreme
and
manifestly illegal dictatorial edicts under the
mantle of the C19 pandemic.
It was clear from the get-go that the alleged
kidnapping plot was
an
election-rigging scheme by which the supposed
radical opposition to Whitmer was presented as an
example of Trump's mindset and that of his
supporters-- and just one of
a
number of seriously bent and corrupt schemes in
which Whitmer was apparently prepared to
participate. This past Friday a jury in western
Michigan hearing a federal case against four of the
defendants agreed.
After 15 days of trial which included testimony from
two defendants who had secured plea deals based on
promises to testify against the others, and five
days of deliberations, the jury acquitted two of the
defendants and deadlocked on the other two. (A trial
on state charges against three of the other alleged
co-conspirators is set for September in Jackson
County, Michigan, but in light of this outcome in
the federal trial, we'll see if that actually
happens when the time comes...)
IN ADDITION TO HIGHLIGHTING the true character of
the "kidnapping plot", this trial conclusion
provides a nice excuse for a bit of general
complaint about the unrelenting bs about fraud in the 2020 election
endlessly issuing forth from the guilty parties in
media and the Democratic party. As the Whitmer
kidnapping pretense illustrates, rigging of that
election was conducted as a systematic black-op by
large, deeply-entrenched public and private
institutions.
Another telling illustration of the fraud was, of
course, the treatment of the Hunter Biden
laptop story, which was suppressed and falsely
smeared as "Russian disinformation" to help ensure Donald Trump's
defeat.
That story-- if honestly-reported, as it still has
never been, even by media outlets reluctantly and
selectively admitting the authenticity of the
laptops damning contents-- includes much evidence of
Joe Biden's corruption, in which Hunter Biden was
simply participating as a monetizing agent, it would
appear.
In addition to the suppression of damning evidence
of Biden corruption, the false narrative management
of the Hunter Biden laptop story by Big Tech, the
MSM and the Deep State simultaneously served to tar
Donald Trump with the charge of introducing a false
attack on Biden. Worse, continued the smear, he had
done so in collusion, or as the beneficiary of, the
evil Russkies which had (so the larger narrative
goes) been interfering with our elections and
governance for years.
THE POINT HERE, OF COURSE, is that in fact, the 2020
election WAS the focus of massive fraud. There was
undoubtedly a great deal of direct ballot fraud in
one form or another, such as the variety explained
(and illustrated)
here.
There were also systematic assaults on the integrity
of the process of the kind shown
here, in which ballots for Joe Biden were
counted, and recounted and recounted, etc., with
every repeat fraudulently adding to Biden's totals.
Much additional evidence of illegal and/or improper
activity on Joe Biden's behalf has been steadily
unearthed over the time since the election.
The clumsiness with which some of that evidence was
presented in the media and in courtrooms in the
hurly-burly of the immediate aftermath of the events
and while the clock was ticking toward deadlines for
certification provided opportunities for the same
partisan interests in Big Tech, the MSM and the Deep
State responsible for the frauds to "pooh-pooh" and
purport to "debunk" the impertinent allegations
against "the
most secure election in history". But that
failure to persuasively present the evidence against
the headwind generated by these well-positioned
oppositional forces in no way diminishes the
veracity and significance of that evidence.
And, of course, it must be recognized that "fact
checks" of such evidence conducted by the very
parties against whom the evidence stands are more
than unreliable-- they can be assumed to be outright
frauds themselves.
All told, the invalidity of Joe Biden's election is
plain and clear. Likewise, the behavior or attitudes
of those who have taken issue with the election
outcome-- as declared by the same Big Tech, MSM and
Deep State actors shown to have engaged in the
election-rigging-- is hardly a proper object of
scorn or acrimony. Rather, it is a bright light of
faithfulness to the rule of law and the principles
upon which America is founded, and under the careful
preservation of which she will exclusively survive
and prosper as she is meant to do.

And Now For Something Completely
Different...
FINALLY, ON AN EXCLUSIVELY
CtC-RELATED NOTE, in
light of the usual excess vigor of the IRS during
"tax-time" I have to reiterate something I've
pointed out a number of times before, but
which a lot of folks seem to have trouble integrating this
into their view of the forest: the "frivolous" of
the Frivolous Return Penalty (FRP) codified at 26 U.S.C.
6702 is a term of art. It has nothing to do with an
assertion of a return's "frivolousness" in any other
context, whether in tax court or elsewhere.
Further, a 6702-related assertion of
"frivolous" against an actual
CtC-educated
return has nothing to do with the validity or
processing of the return's self-assessment or refund
claim. The fact that an opportunistic assertion of a
"frivolous return penalty" has been made is
irrelevant to any assertion of "deficiency" or any
balkiness or delay in honoring a claim made by way
of such return.
I guess it's just a tricky concept. It's also
a prime example of the kind of semantic-gaming by
which the "ignorance tax" is successfully
accomplished despite having zero basis in the law,
and obviously so, when studied to any meaningful
degree. So, I certainly don't fault anyone for being
misled.
ALL THE FOREGOING SAID, the solution to (and
prophylactic against) the danger of misunderstanding
FRPs is owning all the information to be found at
this link
(and the pages linked therefrom). Everyone should
acquire that ownership, in the understanding that
abuse of the FRP is the #1 ploy to which the IRS
resorts in its effort to discourage the filing of
(to the agency, highly-mission-inconvenient)
educated tax returns-- and also the #1 most
easily-shown-and-understood evidence of the agency's
lack of any legitimate basis for opposition to such
filings.
This community should be
using this evidence widely in the larger community.
I am mystified that there aren't a thousand videos
on YouTube and Rumble and Brighteon and GAB
exposing and explaining what is shown
here and elsewhere among the resources at the
link above (and also, for that matter, what is shown
here, and
here, and
here, to pick a few more veins rich in "wake-up"
potential). I have provided all the parts for
constructing such outreach and educational tools.

Not Letting This "Crisis" Go To Waste...
...an important action item opportunity.
FRIENDS, THE SPORADIC BITS OF EASING of the despotic measures to
which most of the country has been subjected under the mantle of
COVID-19 mitigation should not be
allowed to bleed off the head of steam you probably had been developing.
The offenses happened, and they're far from over. Stay hot.
And while you are all warmed up, and while others, if
they're smart, are just as hot, I'd like you to send an email (and
Facebook post, or whatever) with the following content to everyone you
can (with a request that they pass it along, in turn):
[Name], since March of 2020 you've
watched as over-fed state power has been used to literally destroy
classical Western civilization and impose a new despotic paradigm. No
dissent or debate permitted-- no permission or agreement sought.
YOU KNOW where this will end up if the arrogant
state power being used to make this happen isn't radically diminished in
size, influence, resources and popular support, and exposed as an
opportunistic exploiter of legal ignorance (an ignorance which it has
been nurturing in the average mind for decades).
Those things having not yet happened, you
should be quaking in your boots-- and you probably are.
Isn't it time-- and past time-- for you to
begin helping to make those desperately-needed defensive changes take
place? There is only one way these things can happen short of a
who-knows-what we'll-end-up-with explosion of violence. I'm going to
show it to you.
When you're done with that reading, you'll know
what to do next.
BTW, REMEMBER, ALSO, THAT EVERY AMERICAN has lately been given a stark lesson in the fact
that government officials at all levels will lie to you and violate the
law without batting an eye. They will do so any time it serves their agenda, and
you don't call them out for it.

truth about the income tax, you know such nonsense is usually be
grounded in some version or another of, "That can't be true..." or "They
would never do something like that...". Now's the time to put a pin in

FOR ALL THE YEARS SINCE 2003 when
CtC was first published, the government has engaged in a
concerted effort to frighten people away from its truths. This
effort involves official government websites and press releases
touting an occasional court ruling that appears to be at odds
with some
CtC-revelation (but without details sufficient to expose the
real substance of the ruling)--
and sometimes even more mendacious behavior.

on YouTube regarding donations. I didn't know what to do about
it to begin with; I don't do what I do intending for anyone to
feel obligated in any way.

thoughtful personal resolution and encouragement to others is
just an invitation for consideration by those who may not be

Are You Having Trouble Spreading The
Word?
SKEPTICISM (SOMETIMES INVOKED BY FEAR) IS TO BE
EXPECTED when you're trying to explain to someone that
everything they've been encouraged their whole lives to
believe about something as entrenched and significant as the
income tax is basically nonsense. So here's a way to help
cut through the resistance:
Ask your listener how he or she would react if
you were to show an announcement from the Commissioner of
Internal Revenue admitting that the tax doesn't apply to the
earnings of most Americans and is misapplied most of the
time because people don't understand how it works? Or how
about if you showed a ruling from the Supreme Court saying
the same?
Now you just have to explain that
you're going to show exactly those things-- but because
the state really doesn't want people to know this, these
things haven't been said quite as forthrightly as we would
all wish. It's going to take a bit more work to take these
admissions in than is sufficient for just reading a press
release. But it'll be worth the effort...
IF YOU'RE NOT SPREADING THIS LINK with every bit of
energy you can, to school libraries, homeschool
families and community groups, your neighbors, your
family members, your pastors and
co-congregationalists, journalists, lawyers, CPAs,
members of congress, tax-agency workers, Wikipedia,

in the "tax honesty" movement, the 9/11 truth
movement, other activist movements and everyone

This past Monday, March 28, Governor Ron DeSantis of
Florida signed into law H.B. 1557, Parental Rights in Education. The measure,
which prohibits employees of the state’s public schools from teaching children
in third grade and below about sexuality and gender ideology in the classroom,
has sparked controversy. Critics of the bill, while insisting that no
instruction about such matters is given to begin with and therefore need not be
outlawed, frantically predicted that the prohibition will have disastrous
consequences.
In the not-at-all-hysterical framing of Chasten
Buttigieg, “This
will kill kids.” Imagine the tidal wave of suicides that will
certainly ensue now that some left-wing midwit with a B.A. in psychology
cannot tell other people’s six-year-olds about habitual male-on-male
sodomy. What if some poor kid’s second-grade teacher never gets to tell
him that boys can actually be girls if they feel like girls—that he,
despite all contrary indications, might even be a girl himself? Who
could possibly survive such deprivation? Who, if not taxpayer-funded
educators, will teach the youth of America the ins and outs of
queerness?
Disney, thank heavens, has stepped into the
breach. The children’s entertainment behemoth—after a round condemnation
from some more radical employees for failure to oppose the Florida bill
enthusiastically enough—has been running round-the-clock damage control.
Statements have been issued condemning the bill, criticizing the
governor, and reaffirming the $200-billion company’s absolute commitment
to its LGBTQIA employees. Though late to the game, Disney has become by
far the loudest institutional voice against
Florida’s anti-grooming bill, and earned the scorn of conservatives
for it.
So, at the Bulwark, Charlie Sykes
frets “that the entrepreneurs of culture war have grown tired of
ginning up indignation about ‘Drag Queen Story Hour,’ CRT, and the
cancellation of Dr. Seuss. And so they have found a bright new shiny
object of outrage, that bastion of moral decadence and wokeness, the
Walt Disney Company.”
I am not sure decadence can have bastions, but if “bastion of moral
decadence” is not an oxymoron, then surely it applies to Disney as well
as it could apply to anything.
Sykes quotes Tucker Carlson, “tak[ing] time out
from his Putin-fluffing”: “They have a sexual agenda for six-year-old
children. You’d think that’s illegal in some way. It’s certainly
immoral. It’s creepy as hell. And yet they are the country’s leading
purveyor of children’s programming. That’s a problem, no?”
[Emphasis in original.]
The editor of the Bulwark
does not bother to explain why he (presumably)
disagrees. Carlson’s casting of “a sexual agenda for
six-year-old children” as “immoral”, “creepy”, and
“a problem” is presented without comment—to Sykes,
it seems, such characterization is self-evidently
absurd.
The fact that Carlson is
obviously correct does not seem to bother him. I
hope, for his sake, that Charlie Sykes would agree
that a global megacorporation using its stranglehold
on the children’s and family markets to sell
left-wing sexual ideology to kids in their formative
years is, in fact, a problem. I’ll give him the
benefit of the doubt and assume he just doesn’t
believe it’s happening.
But this is hardly a more
defensible position. Christopher Rufo, a
conservative activist who rose to prominence
reporting on critical race theory in schools and
elsewhere, has Disney’s rainbow militants dead to
rights. In
one video posted to Rufo’s Twitter, a production
coordinator named Allen March boasts of “exploring
queer stories” in work on a show called Moon Girl
and Devil Dinosaur. March worries that, because it
may not be obvious that a cartoon character is gay
or trans, these characters must be given “stories
where they can, like, be their whole selves”—that
is, stories that center and highlight their sexual
proclivities on a children’s show.

WE'VE ALL SPILLED A LOT OF PIXELS on the subject of
"narratives" these past two years. The C19 propaganda was the catalyst
for our great awakening to the increasingly mature practice of
perception management by which the Western world has been victimized.
This was followed by the "no evidence of foul play in the 2020 election"
storyline (and the related "insurrection" labeling for dissent from that
narrative). Now we have the "Russia is an unprovoked aggressor; Ukraine
is an innocent victim" fable being laid down thick and fast, and there
are literally dozens of branches growing off all of the foregoing
storylines.
But there's one still very active narrative
that preceded all those
mentioned above, and which, after a bit of an early struggle many
years ago, has largely gone unchallenged since. This
is the fable that
people are born "queer", and that therefore the only
proper policy regarding all things related to
"queerness" is that of accommodation.
The Disney Company reaction to the
Parental Rights law just enacted in Florida is
grounded in this genetic queerness storyline, as is
the arguing position of all of its opponents, nicely
summarized and exemplified in Chasten Buttigieg's,
"This will kill kids" nonsense quoted by Declan
Leary in his excellent piece above. The spin is that
since kids are born "in the wrong bodies" and with
sexual dispositions predetermined and immutable, and
so forth, any institutional demeanor which is not
both friendly and affirming of these supposed
characteristics is necessarily hostile and
discriminatory against the affected children.
It is by this formulation, too, that
concealment from the parents of the supposedly
emergent queerness of their children in school is
justified-- if those parents don't already know and
support/affirm/further that emergence, they are
hostile to the very nature of their own kids, and
inherently abusive.
It is also by this formulation that
arguments are made for medical and psychological
mutilation of kids so as to prevent inconvenient
physiological interferences (i.e., puberty) with the
flowering of their true identities as women weirdly
born into male bodies and vice versa.
ALL THIS IS ABSURD-- indeed grossly
corrupt, if not outright demented. Children are
neither born queer, nor in the wrong bodies.
Plainly, "queerness" is a mental state
being inculcated in vulnerable populations, rather
than being genetically inherent (since were the
latter true, the numbers would be roughly the same
across all age groups, in a time like ours in which
"coming out" has been not only tolerated but
vigorously encouraged and even celebrated for
decades, and that without even getting to the
transmission problem of supposed "gay" genes
regardless of the stats).
Kids are NOT born queer. Instead,
they are vulnerable targets for groomers intent on
cementing in place the institutional accommodation
of their often neurotic and psychotic lifestyle
choices by creating an ever-larger cohort of fellow
travelers.
The only kids arriving at school
expressing "queerness" are those taught to do so at
home by irresponsible, if not abusive, parents, and
the only ones at any risk of self-harm are those
sufficiently bent in their vulnerable minds by this
alien pressure to feel or act out "gender dysphoria"
(either in the "trans" or the "gay" versions) so as to
have become dangerously unstable and fragile.
At the same time, the cohort of the
queerness enthusiasts already infesting the schools
(an infestation which appears to be disturbingly
well-advanced) is eager to spread its illness and
wants free rein to make the attempt with all
children made available to them, and without the
inconveniences of possible adverse parental
oversight.
THIS IS NOT TO SAY that I take issue
with the sexual practices or self-mutilations
of consenting adults, who certainly have the right
to harbor and nurture in themselves whatever
distorted views of reality they prefer, even unto
outright unhinged mental illness. I may find such
things distasteful or even horrifying, but if you're
an adult, well, you be you, right?
(I do draw the line at absurd and
socially dangerous pretenses of men being-- or being
capable of becoming-- women, or women being really
men.)
However, libertarian acceptance of the
right of adults to live queerly is not
acceptance of the grooming by such adults of
children--even by their own parents, and especially
not by school workers.
The Florida Parental Rights bill is a
good thing and should be replicated in every state.
Those railing against it should be denounced and
ostracized by all decent Americans.
In particular (to stick to the
immediate context in which these remarks are made)
the Disney Company should be recognized as a pustule
on the body politic, and shunned in every respect by
everyone. Frankly, that company has been a cultural
vampire for decades.
Now the full measure of its corruption
has been exposed to the sunlight, and as with any
vampire it should begin to melt away-- and will, if
we all now turn our backs on the fetid thing and
walk away.
FINALLY, IT IS WORTH OBSERVING that
just as The Disney Company's evil has been brought
to light by this Parental Rights bill, so to should
the inherent dangers of sending children to
government schools now be clear to everyone.
"Queerness" is not the only delusion or pathology
about which school personnel are enthusiastic, and
in the promulgation of which your children are seen
as targets of opportunity. There are MANY, MANY
more, and all are being pushed hard and fast.
Do the right thing, as inconvenient as
it may seem until you have tried it:
Homeschool your
children!!

keep them paying the tariff for the benefit of Northern interests in
his first inaugural address on March 4, 1861, paid at least lip
service to the Founders design of leaving control over the fuel
available to feed the fires Washington wants to light in the hands
of the individual citizenry when he said, "Doing this I deem to
be only a simple duty on my part; and I shall perform it, unless my
rightful masters, the American people, shall withhold the requisite
means..."

Hendrickson is also a widely-read essayist on
matters of politics, public policy and law; many of these works

soccer coach. He is a long-time political activist as well, and
has served as co-chair and platform convention delegate of

Hendrickson's business career has included nearly a

energy-recovery-and re-utilization company; and as founder and
president of AFJ Inc., a high-efficiency lighting design,

Beginning in the mid-1990s and continuing for the
twelve years before his present full-time focus on the
restoration of the rule of law in America, Hendrickson directed
purchasing activities for the $84 million-a-year
multi-family-housing division of the Farmington Hills, Michigan
branch of Edward Rose and Sons, with responsibility for 18,000+
apartments, direct supervision of 35 technicians and agents, and
incidental authority over several hundred divisional workers.
He also ran the division's 10 cable television earth-station and
distribution systems in four states, and designed and
administered the company's website.
On rather the other end of the spectrum, amidst
these more mundane pursuits Hendrickson co-founded and was the
primary creative force behind a small
board- and
card-game company that enjoyed a modest success for several
years.
Hendrickson makes his home in southeast Michigan,
with his wife and two children. He is currently working on his
next book.
