About Oil-- A
High-Utility Renewable Energy Resource
I WONDER, DOES EVERYBODY REALIZE that
oil is a renewable resource? Despite the childish
association of oil with dinosaurs (dinosaur juice,
right?), oil is a product of any and all organic
material that has simply been processed by heat
and pressure for a sufficient amount of time. Every
day in the present another ancient day's contribution of organic
material crosses the threshold into oil, constantly
renewing/increasing the supply.
Further, oil is a product of-- indeed,
a concentration of-- solar power. It is by solar
energy that the organics which become oil are
generated and sustained in the first place. By the
same token, when those products of past solar energy
accumulation are consumed by the burning of the oil
they have become, the carbon
that is released (as carbon dioxide) contributes to the production of more organic
material, by way of the plants it feeds and the
animals that feed on those plants.
I claim no expertise in regard to these
matters, and I'm sure that my little sketch above is
very much overly simplistic in the eyes of anyone
who can claim such expertise. Disputes or
corrections from such experts are welcome.
But I think my summary is essentially
correct, and that in this time of frothy and ruinous
political assault on our long-standing,
well-established and reliable existing energy
infrastructure these facts need to be firmly
in the minds of anyone involved in energy (and
environmental) policy (which should be all of us)...
Sharing Good Words About
What I Will Unabashedly Call A Medical Miracle
BACK IN MARCH of this year, I took
several weeks off from writing this newsletter while
I recovered from a medical procedure. The issue was
a very badly torn (inner) biceps tendon.
The tear resulted from the wear caused
by decades of weight-lifting combined with the ill
effect of one sloppy lift for a curl session,
followed by a year of just pushing through the pain
without laying off the weights long enough for any
healing to take place. (It likely never would have
taken place no matter how much of a holiday I took,
adult tendons normally having very poor blood flow
and being therefore notoriously hard to heal).
When I finally faced the fact that the
internet-informed physical therapy exercises I was
deploying and the shoulder stabilizing braces I had
begun wearing were just not doing any good last
November, I went to my GP and was referred to an
orthopedist. This fellow did some tests and scanned
with ultrasound, ultimately announcing that the
tendon was so far gone that he couldn't even find it
with the scope.
I was sent for an MRI, which I had at
the beginning of December. The scan revealed a 2 cm.
tear in a rotator cuff ligament and confirmed the
massive damage to the biceps tendon.
The recommendation by the orthopedist
upon reviewing the images was that I undergo
arthroscopic surgery for the rotator cuff tear and
let him snip what was left of the tendon ("It won't
be a total disaster... After all, you'll still have
the outer tendon connecting that biceps muscle to
your shoulder, right?").
I would, I was told, end up with no
pain from the torn tendon and a repaired rotator
cuff, but even after 6 months to a year of
convalescence with my arm in a sling for a great
deal of
that time I would never again be able to lift more
than twenty pounds overhead. And, of course, I would
never be able to properly use my right biceps
henceforth.
Crippled for the rest of my life, in
other words-- just as has been the outcome, to a
greater or lesser degree, for many people
similarly injured over the years.
WELL, I DEMURRED, and left the
orthopedist's office with the declared intention of
seeking a second opinion. But I had little hope and
was feeling pretty devastated. Like my GP, the
orthopedist had pointed out that I was, after all,
66 years old, and the body, especially those
well-worked tendons, has been through a lot and
lacks the recovery capacity it might have mustered
in a situation like this 30 years ago. I couldn't
argue against any of that...
However, I am by nature of
problem-solver rather than a problem-wallower. And I
am an optimist.
The discussion of recovery capacity
issues led me to begin thinking about stem cells. I
hit the net, looking for information.
I quickly found that stem cell
treatments are widely available for various
particular purposes. Hugely expensive, and not
covered by insurance (being too new, it seems-- or
for other reasons, as will be discussed anon...).
I ALSO LEARNED of another,
stem-cell-related procedure, of which I had not
previously been aware: Platelet-rich-plasma therapy
(PRP). Also not covered by insurance, but much less
expensive, and particularly suited to tendon
injuries, I was told.
Very interested, I reviewed all that I
could find on the subject, which included strong
endorsement from the NIH based on aggregated
independent clinical research review. Testimonials
from doctors and patients were readily found.
The explanations of the process-- which
is still relatively new-- have no tinge of snake-oil
salesmanship, They are, instead, notable for a
certain humility and sense of anticipation,
reminding me of how I felt in the early 'oughts when
the first
CtC-educated victories
began to mount in numbers and the
increasingly-disturbed IRS began to respond with
nothing but evasions and suppression.
My in-depth study led me to settle on
the version of the preparation and procedure offered
by Regenexx. The
information offered was persuasive, testimonials
were strong and compelling, and frankly, the
attitude and demeanor of the staffer to whom I spoke
when calling the nearest participating clinic (an
hour-and-a-half drive from home) to get a live take
on it all (something on which I put a lot of
significance) was very reassuring and confirmational.
SO, I MADE THE DRIVE, got
evaluated with motion and stress-tests, had my MRI
scans and X-rays studied, and had a thorough
ultrasound examination. I was told candidly that PRP
could do nothing for my rotator cuff tear, due to
the damage being located under bone and not
accessible for ultrasound-- a key factor in the
procedure, by which the required injections are
guided.
But as I had already known, the rotator
cuff issue was minor to the point of insignificance.
I have not been substantially hindered by that tear
at all, and have simply had to be more careful about
form than was previously necessary when doing my
lifting. The problem was the torn biceps tendon,
which was found by the Regenexx doctor with
the ultrasound, but looked like an overstretched
rubberband-- thin, elongated, and with a huge oval
hole running its length where the solid center
should be. Happily, this could be addressed by PRP.
I scheduled the procedure, and on March
9, with Doreen along to drive me home afterward,
returned to the Toledo clinic for the requisite
blood-draw, centrifuging and concentration of
platelets, and injection of the resulting
concentrate. Here's how that goes:
The PRP gets injected into the sheath
enclosing the tendon. This additional material
pumped into that space generates a ferocious amount
of pain, which lasts for three or four days, during
which the arm must remain immobile in order to give the
injection punctures time to seal up and ensure that
the PRP stays where it is needed.
For the next two weeks absolute
immobility of the arm is no longer required, but it
must be kept as still as possible, and always down,
with no unnecessary use and no loading. Over the
third and fourth week more and more movement is ok,
and by the fifth week gentle transition into normal
behavior is encouraged.
In my case, being the impatient fellow
that I am, I went ahead with a very light session
with the weights early in the third week. One can't
afford to lose ground at my age, and my shoulder was
feeling great. I had no pain during the workout, but
the whole area felt pretty lit up the next day, and
for several more afterward (although this was also,
to a similar degree, true of my other shoulder--
probably in both cases being as much due to the
three weeks+ of inactivity).
About ten days after that light workout
I had my first follow-up visit with the doctor. We
looked at ultrasound imaging again, and happily, the
tendon was still sealed with the PRP in place. The
tendon also still looked just as it had before the
injection, but this was expected.
The PRP itself is not a repair
material. Rather, its presence invokes the body's
healing mechanisms to its location, setting into
motion the repairs which will take place gradually
over the course of anything from three months to a
full year.
Time would have to pass before anything
really notable could happen. But I was encouraged to
carry on with my workouts, using pain as the guide
to the levels of load-- if a particular move hurt,
reduce the load or change the form or move to
something else. And so I did.
On June 8 I had my next follow-up visit
at the clinic. For several weeks prior to that point
I had resumed regular workouts using the same loads
and intensity with which I had been working prior to
the injections in March-- which means, lifting
pretty much unhindered in every regard except in the
avoidance of fully supinated biceps curls. I was
completely pain-free at all times, working out or
not.
When the ultrasound was deployed, it
was enormously pleasing-- exciting, really-- to see
that the overstretched and hollow rubberband has
already been replaced by a solid cable of tendon--
not yet as dense as it will become, but plainly
getting there quickly. Whoo-hoo!!
BASED ON ALL THE STUDY I HAD DONE after
getting the original diagnosis from the "I'll just
snip it..." conventional orthopedist, regrowth of a
tendon such as I am now enjoying is almost unknown--
in the world of conventional orthopedics. That world
really has no solution to this sort of fairly common
injury, just mitigation techniques.
PRP, on the other hand, is a
problem-solver. Based on my own experience, I think
that by comparison to conventional practices, the
relatively new PRP therapy qualifies as a minor
medical miracle (or a major one, for those in need).
I am very pleased to be able to share the news about
this advanced treatment and hope that anyone
suffering from any tendon issues consults with a
practitioner.
This includes anyone with rotator cuff
injuries-- as I said above, my particular rotator
cuff issue could not be addressed with the PRP
therapy, but only because of the location of my
tear, under bone. Others may not encounter this
impediment. Knee and ankle injuries are also areas
of focus for PRP applications.
AS I MENTIONED EARLIER, PRP is not yet
deemed standard-of-care treatment, and is not
covered as a remedy by health insurance. Certainly
the relative newness of the therapy (with PRP first
being named in the 1970s and not being experimented
with in tendon repair until much later) is a factor.
However, the cynic in me suspects that
the more significant issue is the degree to which
PRP therapy threatens to dislodge a well-established
and lucrative orthopedics industry from a major
portion of its perch, with all the attendant support
industries that get wet beaks from every operation.
My procedure-- conducted in the office-- took a
total of 45 minutes, from the initial blood draw to
the injection of the PRP concentrate and my
departure for home.
The cost of the procedure was $1,200.
While I didn't price out the alternatives, my guess
is that any version of the possible arthroscopic
surgeries that I might have ended up undergoing to
arrive at the ultimately unsatisfying end results
promised by the conventional orthopedist I initially
consulted would have generated bills aggregating in
the tens of thousands of dollars.
It is also my guess that the "standard
of care" decision-making in this area, with which
PRP now stands as a simple, low-cost and more
effective competitor, rests in large part, at least,
on the views of those who stand to capture a good
chunk of those tens of thousands. I hope that
everyone who can do so seeks out the PRP solution,
both because of its obvious therapeutic benefits and
in order to shift the standard-of-care structure
away from hugely expensive conventional treatments
(for which we all pay, in one way or another) to the
more effective and dramatically less expensive PRP
alternative.
The Grotesque
And Unconscionable Abuse Of World Hero Julian Assange Continues
THE DESPICABLE BRITISH
GOVERNMENT DECIDED LAST WEEK to continue the torment of
Julian Assange for his exposure of US and UK war
crimes and general corruption by approving his
extradition to face bogus charges in a US
star chamber. I reiterate my plea
for anyone who has the ear (or email address) of
Julian's legal team to direct those good folks to
my
analysis of the charges in this case, and the
roadmap to defeating them in court (if a valid defense is recognized or respected
by what will be a deeply corrupt court).
Please, anyone and everyone, help with
this effort to whatever extent you can. The
enormously-corrupt assault on Assange is a dagger
over the heart of meaningful journalism regarding
United States respect for the law (or lack thereof).
If this assault isn't defeated, any hope of real
self-government in America evaporates, as reliable
knowledge of the activities of the state will no
longer be available to the citizens who are supposed
to be in charge of those activities, and whose blood
and treasure are expended to pay for them all.

WHENEVER I THINK OF THE PATHETIC
CHILDREN distorted from their natural and healthy
body-mind integration into unnatural and unhealthy
disintegration by monsters in the home or the social
or institutional environment, resulting in
"queerness" of either the conventional or
(especially) the relatively-recently-added "trans"
variety, a representative image comes into my head.
That image is of the broken and
unnaturally-reconfigured toys from the 1995 movie
'Toy Story'.
In light of the Disney
Company's
recently outed and directly-stated goal of being
one such social monster, it is ironic that the company itself, in an earlier persona,
prefigured the plague of mental disease to the
spreading of which it would later deliberately
aspire in a particularly memorable and well-tuned
fashion.
HERE'S ANOTHER IMAGE that I think
is useful for representing the pathology of "queer"
disintegration-- the "woman suit" being sewn
together from skin taken from the victims of Buffalo
Bill in 'Silence of the Lambs':
The suit is Bill's effort to
reconfigure his outward appearance in conformity to
what his diseased mind imagines to be its "real" and
"proper" nature. Sound familiar?
Today, life for a growing list of
victims has been made to imitate this horrific
"art". While Buffalo Bill's psychosis was just a
shocking element central to a gripping crime novel
of the 1980s, today the mutilation of children to
satisfy the same deeply disturbed notions of "gender
dysphoria" is a commonplace.
Girls around the country (as well as
elsewhere in the world) are groomed into "wanting"
(and submitting to) the lopping off of their healthy
breasts and other extreme, irreversible harms for
the purpose of "rectifying" an encouraged discomfort
with their natural, healthily-integrated selves.
Boys are groomed into "wanting" (and submitting to)
the same mutilations and chemical abuses.
It is a plague of mind-boggling
insanity.
THOSE ALREADY FALLEN PREY to the
socially-engendered plague of gender confusion, who
are made less uncomfortable in their illness by its
normalization, have succeeded in heavily
stigmatizing observations like these, I know. But
healthy Americans cannot, in good conscience, leave
that stigmatization unlaid, and allow these 'Brave
New World' degenerations of our common culture
to continue unchecked.
Denounce this madness, and all those
who defend and encourage it.

absurdities can make you commit atrocities."

Not Letting This "Crisis" Go To Waste...
...an important action item opportunity.
FRIENDS, THE SPORADIC BITS OF EASING of the despotic measures to
which most of the country has been subjected under the mantle of
COVID-19 mitigation should not be
allowed to bleed off the head of steam you probably had been developing.
The offenses happened, and they're far from over. Stay hot.
And while you are all warmed up, and while others, if
they're smart, are just as hot, I'd like you to send an email (and
Facebook post, or whatever) with the following content to everyone you
can (with a request that they pass it along, in turn):
[Name], since March of 2020 you've
watched as over-fed state power has been used to literally destroy
classical Western civilization and impose a new despotic paradigm. No
dissent or debate permitted-- no permission or agreement sought.
YOU KNOW where this will end up if the arrogant
state power being used to make this happen isn't radically diminished in
size, influence, resources and popular support, and exposed as an
opportunistic exploiter of legal ignorance (an ignorance which it has
been nurturing in the average mind for decades).
Those things having not yet happened, you
should be quaking in your boots-- and you probably are.
Isn't it time-- and past time-- for you to
begin helping to make those desperately-needed defensive changes take
place? There is only one way these things can happen short of a
who-knows-what we'll-end-up-with explosion of violence. I'm going to
show it to you.
When you're done with that reading, you'll know
what to do next.
BTW, REMEMBER, ALSO, THAT EVERY AMERICAN has lately been given a stark lesson in the fact
that government officials at all levels will lie to you and violate the
law without batting an eye. They will do so any time it serves their agenda, and
you don't call them out for it.
If you know anyone who has been persisting in denial on the
truth about the income tax, you know such nonsense is usually be
grounded in some version or another of, "That can't be true..." or "They
would never do something like that...". Now's the time to put a pin in
that delusional bubble.
As the C19 hoax has starkly shown, "that" certainly CAN be true, and they
certainly WOULD do something
like that.
Use this evidence in all your
outreach efforts.

citizen from falling into error; it is the function of the citizen to

(Deceitful efforts to discourage Americans from
learning the truth about the "income tax")
FOR ALL THE YEARS SINCE 2003 when
CtC was first published, the government has engaged in a
concerted effort to frighten people away from its truths. This
effort involves official government websites and press releases
touting an occasional court ruling that appears to be at odds
with some
CtC-revelation (but without details sufficient to expose the
real substance of the ruling)--
and sometimes even more mendacious behavior.
Are the presentations and

Tim Kendrick has posted
a video

it to begin with; I don't do what I do intending for anyone to
feel obligated in any way.
But of course, no one IS obligated. I will continue
to make my work freely-available here, and in my books for only
the cost of a cheap paperback.
Thus, even though I post it here below, Tim's very
thoughtful personal resolution and encouragement to others is
just an invitation for consideration by those who may not be
conscious of the fact that I can't do what I do without support.
No one is to feel any pressure from it; if it moves anyone to
act let it be solely because it seems right.
All-in-all, just be the sort of person for others
that you would go to yourself for trustworthy leadership.
Leadership is a challenge. But it's not
complicated, and you can do it.

Are You Having Trouble Spreading The

SKEPTICISM (SOMETIMES INVOKED BY FEAR) IS TO BE
EXPECTED when you're trying to explain to someone that
everything they've been encouraged their whole lives to
believe about something as entrenched and significant as the
income tax is basically nonsense. So here's a way to help
cut through the resistance:
Ask your listener how he or she would react if
you were to show an announcement from the Commissioner of
Internal Revenue admitting that the tax doesn't apply to the
earnings of most Americans and is misapplied most of the
time because people don't understand how it works? Or how
about if you showed a ruling from the Supreme Court saying
the same?
Now you just have to explain that
you're going to show exactly those things-- but because
the state really doesn't want people to know this, these
things haven't been said quite as forthrightly as we would
all wish. It's going to take a bit more work to take these
admissions in than is sufficient for just reading a press
release. But it'll be worth the effort...

Davos elites would rather push for war
with Russia than admit that the multi-polar order
has arrived.
by Dominic Sansone
This year’s premier gathering of world elites, the 2022
Davos World Economic Forum, concluded May 26. Topics of discussion included the
climate crisis, global epidemic concerns, continued efforts to grow the
prominence of ESG investing, and looming food shortages. One issue, however, far
and away dominated the entire conference: the Russo-Ukrainian war and its
centrality to the future of the international system.
“This war is really a
turning point of history, and it will reshape our
political and our economic landscape in the coming
years,”
stated WEF Founder Klaus Schwab.
“[Russian President
Vladimir] Putin wants a return to a world order in
which strength dictates what is right—in which
freedom, determination and sovereignty are not for
everyone,” German leader Olaf Scholz
told Davos attendees. “We cannot allow Putin to
win this war.”
Ukrainian President
Volodymyr Zelensky’s call for “maximum sanctions,” a
stipend for Kyiv of at least $5 billion per month,
and the total expulsion of all Russian forces from
Ukrainian territory brought the crowd to
its feet.
Favorite target of
conservative ire George Soros
issued a call to arms for the champions of an
international “open society.” In order to save
civilization, the world community must “mobilize all
our resources” in order to “defeat Putin as soon as
possible.” Even climate change would have to take a
back seat to the fight against Russia.
The ongoing war in Ukraine
is undoubtedly horrific, and everyone of goodwill
wants to see an end to the bloodshed as soon as
possible. The committed focus on defeating Putin by
those at Davos, however, is about more than
virtue-signaling or moral posturing. It is even
about more than leveraging the crisis to accelerate
their goal of usurping power from national
governments in isolated fields, like energy.
Rather, the real issue at
stake in Ukraine is whether the future of
international relations will involve the continued
expansion of a transatlantic one-world government,
or complete its transition back to a system
predicated on the balance of power. War in Ukraine
presents the global community with its most
significant inflection point of the post-Cold War
era. In this instance, Schwab’s analysis is entirely
correct. Putin’s invasion of his neighbor has
threatened to affirm not only that the national
interest still dictates world affairs, but that it
can also still be secured by force.
For the West, accepting
that a peace settlement will require certain land
concessions and security guarantees would equate to
an admission that the balance of power is once again
the central operating principle of international
relations. It would also be definitive confirmation
that the “multi-polar” order dreaded by globalists
has definitively arrived. Conversely, however,
Russia could fail to secure its gains in Ukraine due
to regime change or escalated Western intervention.
The ability to destroy the Putin administration
through economic strangulation, militarily supplying
its enemies, and fomenting civil unrest would
subsequently establish the opposite principle: the
concept of a sphere of influence would show itself
defunct. An individual nation-state actor, despite
being a hindrance, will have been proven incapable
of permanently forestalling the continued expansion
and consolidation of a transatlantic-based one-world
governance system.
Short of major Western
escalation, which would likely precipitate
large-scale war, the latter will not happen. Putin
will achieve his goals: at least part, if not the
majority, of the Donbas region will remain
autonomous, and will potentially even join the
Russian federation; Crimea will continue to be
controlled by Moscow; and Ukraine will not be a
member of the E.U. anytime soon, let alone NATO.
That caveat about Western escalation should not be
easily dismissed, however. The hostile language
ubiquitous at the WEF would require Western
involvement significantly beyond its current level,
and can’t be discounted as mere rhetoric.
Davos is the most accurate
physical representation of the phrase “the powers
that be” in our current age. What its high-powered
attendees say is indicative of more than just their
personal beliefs; often, as their beliefs go, so
goes international policy. Such is the nature of
having control over a civilization’s institutions,
national resources, and financial capital.
Despite all evidence that
Putin is a rational actor, the Ukraine crisis is
exclusively filtered through a simplistic moral
prism of good vs. evil. Countenancing the Russian
president as a pragmatic international actor would
be another inherent admission that the world has
returned to a balance-of-power system. Instead,
Putin has become in the elite imagination a
caricature of opposition to one-world unity, the
Voldemort to our Harry Potter. As a result, the path
to escalation has been paved in the hearts and minds
of Western audiences.
That is not to say that the
sympathy of any particular individual for the
suffering of Ukrainians is inauthentic, or that
those individuals do not actually want a speedy
resolution to the conflict. It is only to say that
these elites see the emergence of their envisioned
better world as threatened. The ways proposed at the
WEF may often be misguided, but the goals are not
necessarily malicious. And therein lies their
danger.
The Davos mindset is not
only dangerous because its proponents want to
centralize power in their own hands and create a
one-world technocracy of rule-by-expert; it is
dangerous because they genuinely believe that all of
that is for your own good, and that they know better
than you what is in your best interest.
Subsequently, they are also willing to make
sacrifices for their goals on your behalf, whether
you agree or not.
At the same time,
the Davos set aggregates the negative externalities
of a given operation or policy into borderless,
boundless phenomena like climate change or “equity.”
The inevitable blurring of the line between “social”
and “science” that takes place when viewing
externalities at such a scale makes it difficult to
concretely measure an operation’s impact on any
particular community, or even to define the
community in question.
"There is no safety for honest men but by believing all
possible evil of evil men."
-Edmund Burke
A NICE, THOUGHTFUL AND DETAILED OBSERVATION by Dominic
Sansone, to which everyone should pay attention. The primary message, in
my mind, is that no one should let any agenda of the "Davos crowd" have
any influence or even recognition in American policy or politics.
Indeed, attendance at meetings of the
"Davos crowd" or the like should be prohibited to
anyone entrusted with a position of trust and honor
in the USA. The interests of globalists are
inherently at odds with those of
America, whose fundamental operating principles are
the minimizing and decentralization of state power
and the maximizing of individual liberty through the
securing of natural, unalienable rights. Both are
antithetical to any form of "globalization".
But as Sansone observes, the Biden
hobgoblin-floggers and Ukraine grifters are
working the Davos agenda, inevitably at the expense of American
interests. This needs hardly be explained in any
detail. The supply shortages of gas and food and
much else-- all artificially aggravated in service
to the "climate change" hobgoblin-- bring this
assault on Americans into sharp focus for everyone
suffering from them (even while those upper-class
adherents of the Davos agenda "new world order"
notice none of these ill effects at all).
I doubt that we will soon manage--
either as a matter of law or in practice-- to keep
American politicians and those who influence
politicians from sharing or even pursuing world
government ambitions. However, we CAN deny those
politicians the resources needed to effect their
alien agenda of disempowering American citizens and
subordinating them to globalism.
One simple act by each individual
American will do the trick, and it needs no approval
or agreement from any institutional authority. That one
simple thing will function as a catalyst, compelling
the beneficial reorganization of our whole societal
and political structure as a natural and inevitable
process.
You can see a sketch of that process
and its outcomes
in
the presentation here. Read it, think about it,
share it.

EVEN AS ARDENT A STATIST as Abraham
Lincoln, in announcing his willingness to burn the Southern states to the ground in order to
keep them paying the tariff for the benefit of Northern interests in
his first inaugural address on March 4, 1861, paid at least lip
service to the Founders design of leaving control over the fuel
available to feed the fires Washington wants to light in the hands
of the individual citizenry when he said, "Doing this I deem to
be only a simple duty on my part; and I shall perform it, unless my
rightful masters, the American people, shall withhold the requisite
means..."

Do you
know someone truly steeped in the Kool-Aid?
I mean
someone who finds it easier to believe that the far-better-educated,
far-more-suspicious-of-government Americans of a hundred years ago were
complete morons who granted authority to the state to take whatever it
wished from themselves and their posterity than to imagine that they
themselves simply misunderstand the true nature of the income tax? Even
while knowing that their beliefs about the tax are derived entirely from
the representations of those who profit from those beliefs (like tax
bureaucrats and "tax professionals")?
Do you
know someone like that? Shake them awake with the latest (sixteenth)
edition of
CtC!
If
CtC were actually
right, it would mean the government's been concealing and
denying and suppressing the truth for years
on end, and everybody knows THAT would never happen...
(Edward Snowden, come home! It was all just a bad dream; there really is
No Such Agency!)
Btw, a copy of
CtC from anywhere except the link above may not
be a current edition. CHECK. It matters. Also, there ARE no
e-book, Kindle or .pdf versions of
CtC.
Don't get taken in by efforts to sell you-- or even give you for
free-- any such thing.

Territory. In 1948, Columbia Records introduces the LP. In 2004, SpaceShipOne
becomes the first privately-funded craft to achieve spaceflight.

June 26- In 1284, the Pied Piper of

Catholic Church elevates Petros Philargos as Pope Alexander V-- he joins the two
other pontiffs extant at the time, Gregory XII and Benedict XII. (The church
now regards Alexander V as an "antipope".) In 1870, Christmas is made a federal

In 2008, in 'District of Columbia v. Heller', the US Supreme Court admits for
the first time in decades that
the Second
Amendment prohibits interference with Americans' possession and ownership of
firearms by the federal government (although in a decision made quirky and
somewhat misleading in its character by the fact that in this case the federal
government involvement was in its persona as a municipal authority, rather than
more broadly).

Hendrickson is also a widely-read essayist on
matters of politics, public policy and law; many of these works
are collected in his second book, Upholding
the Law And Other Observations. He is a member of Mensa;
an
award-winning artist; and has paid his dues as a youth
soccer coach. He is a long-time political activist as well, and
has served as co-chair and platform convention delegate of
Michigans largest county Libertarian Party organization; as a
consultant to the National Right to Work Foundation and Citizens
for a Sound Economy; as a member of the Heartland Institute; and
as a member of the International Society for Individual
Liberty. He is a frequent radio-show guest on stations across
the country.
Hendrickson's business career has included nearly a
decade-and-a-half at the leading edge of the renewable-energy
industry, both as Director of Purchasing and Materials
Management and member of the R&D board at Starpak Energy
Systems, the mid-west's then-largest solar heating and
energy-recovery-and re-utilization company; and as founder and
president of AFJ Inc., a high-efficiency lighting design,
manufacture and installation firm.
Beginning in the mid-1990s and continuing for the
twelve years before his present full-time focus on the
restoration of the rule of law in America, Hendrickson directed
purchasing activities for the $84 million-a-year
multi-family-housing division of the Farmington Hills, Michigan
branch of Edward Rose and Sons, with responsibility for 18,000+
apartments, direct supervision of 35 technicians and agents, and
incidental authority over several hundred divisional workers.
He also ran the division's 10 cable television earth-station and
distribution systems in four states, and designed and
administered the company's website.
On rather the other end of the spectrum, amidst
these more mundane pursuits Hendrickson co-founded and was the
primary creative force behind a small
board- and
card-game company that enjoyed a modest success for several
years.
Hendrickson makes his home in southeast Michigan,
with his wife and two children. He is currently working on his
next book.
