Recent revelations pose a serious challenge to American grown-ups:
May 22- In 1377, Pope Gregory issues
five papal bulls denouncing the teachings of John Wycliffe, a lay preacher and
theologian who opposed the secular power of the Roman Catholic Church and its
practice of demanding tribute, and advocated the translation of the Bible into
versions readable by the average person, laying important foundation stones for
the upcoming Protestant Reformation. In 1807, former Vice President Aaron Burr
is indicted by a grand jury for treason (Burr was subsequently acquitted). In
1826, the HMS Beagle sets off with Charles Darwin on board. In 1906, the Wright
brothers are granted a patent for their "flying machine". In 1980, Namco
releases 'Pac-Man'. In 1990, Microsoft releases Windows 3.0. In 1992, Johnny
Carson hosts his last 'Tonight Show'. In 2012, the Tokyo Skytree, the tallest
tower in the world at 2,080 ft. (634 m.), opens for business.

So, The FBI Is Clearly Dirty
And Rogue... What Are You Going To Do About It?
The power to clean house-- "drain the
swamp", if you will-- IS in your hands. You've just
got to stand up, acknowledge the very real crisis,
overcome your conditioned docility, and implement
the solution-- as has been done by the folks we
celebrate at the end of this commentary.
LAST WEEK WE WERE ALL TREATED TO THE
"DURHAM REPORT"-- half-hearted and mealy-mouthed,
but a crystal-clear indictment of the leadership and
culture in the FBI. The report illuminated many
important things.
For instance, the report reveals that "Russiagate"
allegations and the related investigations, smears
and political encumbrances by which the
(like-it-or-not) duly-elected Donald Trump was
systematically hindered, demonized, and kept from
executing his mandate were 100% baseless and were
contrived purely (it is obvious) for the purpose of
imposing those hindrances and that demonization.
This admission enters public view a week after the
one by former acting CIA director Mike Morrell that
the October, 2020, letter issued by Morrell and 50
other former Intelligence (sic) community officials
smearing the Hunter Biden laptop revelations as a
Russian disinformation-op was a deliberate
election-rigging plot concocted by Biden campaign
officials and enacted with these co-conspirator deep
state creatures.
Together, these two admissions
unmistakably and indisputably reveal an
insurrection-- an assault on the established
political order by which the attempt is made to undo
the outcome of a valid election (in 2016) and to
illegally fix the outcome of an upcoming election
(in 2020). It is this actual insurrection (the
ongoing commission of which was obvious to anyone
paying attention) that was being protested by most
of those on hand in Washington on January 6 (leaving
aside the false-flag agents-provocateur also on hand
to engage in violence and give the affair the
texture needed to exploit it properly as a
Reichstag-fire affair and move the public focus off
the actual insurrectionists).
Together, these two admissions also
make clear that several federal agencies-- most
prominently the FBI, but also the CIA, NSA and
others-- have become thoroughly politicized. These
agencies are no longer dispassionate and objective
mission-minders. Instead, they have become partisans
with an agenda independent from their lawful
purposes and authorities, using the dangerous powers
with which they have been entrusted to illegally act
on behalf of some favored ideological interests and
against disfavored others even to the point of
overturning or engineering American elections.
Is this ok with you?
IF ROGUE, DANGEROUS, WELL-ARMED AND
WELL-ORGANIZED FEDERAL AGENCIES which have taken
control of American elections and which unevenly
apply the law to suit their own agenda are NOT ok
with you, I have a solution to offer. I suggest that
you (and those to whom you can pass this along)
exercise your God-given and Founder-secured
authority to put these rogue agencies back into
their places.
Not going to bother (or dare)? Then
stop complaining and finish your descent into
serfdom in a more appropriate shamefaced silence
(while focusing on how you're going to explain all
that to your kids...).
AS IS MY PERIODIC PRACTICE, I'm going
to highlight and celebrate a few more of the
American heroes who are not just
complaining, but who have chosen to stop
enabling the enemies of liberty and the rule of law,
and doing so this week as a close to the commentary
above seems especially fitting. So, without further
ado, let's say hello and "well done" to some heroes.

sit-on-the-front-porch-and-watch-the-world-go-by
thoughts, this time on the need to replace "transphobe"
with a fitter term; the 'Cleopatra' embarrassment;
and the emerging backstory on the defenestration
effort against Tucker Carlson.
WE NEED A REPLACEMENT for the "phobic"
in terms like "transphobic" There are two problems
with that formulation: 1. It implies a fear of
"trans" victims; and 2. It suggests that it is the
so-called "transphobic" person that is mentally ill,
as in "suffering from a phobia". Both of these
implications are incorrect.
The reality is that the so-called "transphobic"
person is revolted by "trans" ideology, its
delusionally loud and proud victims, and its
downright evil advocates, exploiters and enablers
(and, of course, it is those who imagine anyone
capable of being other than the gender dictated by
their DNA who are mentally ill).
America needs someone to coin the
better term with a proper ending reflecting that
revulsion-- someone with more than my rudimentary
knowledge of Latin. I hope a good scholar in the
field takes care of this promptly, and I hope to be
the second person to learn the new, improved
descriptor.

IT HAS BEEN WITH SOME RELIEF that I
have heard that the idiotic Netflix film 'Cleopatra'
is getting panned by audiences especially, and
critics to a predictably (although only slightly)
lesser degree. You would think that folks so
obviously striving to enhance their stature in the
wider culture by the appropriation of significant
historical figures would take some pains to not
thwart the project with such arrant displays of
ignorance or willful defiance of the facts as to
suggest that the Greek/Macedonian woman Cleopatra
was actually a sub-Saharan black African.
Such efforts should be confined to
figures of more indeterminate lineage or those less
thoroughly discussed and rendered in art and
otherwise so as to leave some degree of plausibility
to the appropriation claim, as is done by gay
community in its many efforts of the same kind.
That said, there is another, and more
important aspect to this miscasting and mis-rendering
of Cleopatra-- its leaving of a false notion in the
minds of otherwise ignorant viewers of the film.
Each such viewer, having had the nonsense as the
sole source of any claims on the subject, will
forever be convinced that Cleopatra was
black. Thus does civilization crumble,
grain-by-grain.
We need legislation making that kind of
indefensible misinformation actionable in court,
with any parent pre-emptively granted standing to
bring the action.

IT IS NEWLY-EMERGING that Tucker
Carlson's firing (while Fox attempts to keep him
sidelined by paying out his $26 million contract
even while keeping him off the air and shedding
viewers at a furious pace) was a part of the
settlement demanded by Dominion Voting Systems in
its bizarre defamation lawsuit. This, even though
Carlson was the one Fox journalist sharply skeptical
of the assertions by Sydney Powell and Rudy Giuliani
over which Dominion claims to have been aggrieved.
In addition to that fact about Carlson,
there was already much that made no sense in the
matter, including the trial court's failure to
dismiss the suit. As best I can tell, whatever any
Fox personality might have said about the subject,
none of them-- especially not Carlson-- ever
declared for themselves on air that
Dominion machines had been deliberately used by
anyone to fix the 2020 election. How does defamation
get sustained under these circumstances? And yet the
suit was allowed to go forward, and Fox never even
really fought back.
Could the whole thing have been a
massive fraud solely for the purpose of silencing
Carlson, with even the judge as a conspirator? A
weird notion, I admit, but still, Carlson was (and
remains) far and away the biggest threat to the
insurrectionists'
agenda...
This is one to keep an eye on, and in
regard to which anyone in a position to shed light
or turn over rocks should be vigorously encouraged
to press on ahead at full speed, the torpedoes be
damned.

FRIENDS, THE SPORADIC EASINGS of the despotic measures to
which most of the country has been subjected under
since the onset of the
COVID-19 hobgoblin narrative should not be
allowed to bleed off the head of steam you probably had been developing.
The offenses happened, and they're far from over. Stay hot.
And while you are all warmed up, and while others, if
they're smart, are just as hot, I'd like you to send an email (and
Facebook post, or whatever) with the following content to everyone you
can (with a request that they pass it along, in turn):
[Name], since March of 2020 you've
watched as over-fed state power has been used to literally destroy
classical Western civilization and impose a new despotic paradigm. No
dissent or debate permitted-- no permission or agreement sought.
YOU KNOW where this will end up if the arrogant
state power being used to make this happen isn't radically diminished in
size, influence, resources and popular support, and exposed as an
opportunistic exploiter of legal ignorance (an ignorance which it has
been nurturing in the average mind for decades).
Those things having not yet happened, you
should be quaking in your boots-- and you probably are.
Isn't it time-- and past time-- for you to
begin helping to make those desperately-needed defensive changes take
place? There is only one way these things can happen short of a
who-knows-what we'll-end-up-with explosion of violence. I'm going to
show it to you.
When you're done with that reading, you'll know
what to do next.
BTW, REMEMBER, ALSO, THAT EVERY AMERICAN has lately been given a stark lesson in the fact
that government officials at all levels will lie to you and violate the
law without batting an eye. They will do so any time it serves their agenda, and
you don't call them out for it.
If you know anyone who has been persisting in denial on the
truth about the income tax, you know such nonsense is usually be
grounded in some version or another of, "That can't be true..." or "They
would never do something like that...". Now's the time to put a pin in
that delusional bubble.
As the C19 hoax has starkly shown, "that" certainly CAN be true, and they
certainly WOULD do something
like that.

outreach efforts.

learning the truth about the "income tax")
FOR ALL THE YEARS SINCE 2003 when
CtC was first published, the government has engaged in a
concerted effort to frighten people away from its truths. This
effort involves official government websites and press releases
touting an occasional court ruling that appears to be at odds
with some
CtC-revelation (but without details sufficient to expose the
real substance of the ruling)--
and sometimes even more mendacious behavior.
Are the presentations and
resources offered on this site and in my other work of any value to you?
Tim Kendrick has posted
a video
on YouTube regarding donations. I didn't know what to do about
it to begin with; I don't do what I do intending for anyone to
feel obligated in any way.
But of course, no one IS obligated. I will continue
to make my work freely-available here, and in my books for only
the cost of a cheap paperback.
Thus, even though I post it here below, Tim's very
thoughtful personal resolution and encouragement to others is
just an invitation for consideration by those who may not be
conscious of the fact that I can't do what I do without support.
No one is to feel any pressure from it; if it moves anyone to
act let it be solely because it seems right.
All-in-all, just be the sort of person for others
that you would go to yourself for trustworthy leadership.
Leadership is a challenge. But it's not
complicated, and you can do it.

Are You Having Trouble Spreading The
Word?
SKEPTICISM (SOMETIMES INVOKED BY FEAR) IS TO BE
EXPECTED when you're trying to explain to someone that
everything they've been encouraged their whole lives to
believe about something as entrenched and significant as the
income tax is basically nonsense. So here's a way to help
cut through the resistance:
Ask your listener how he or she would react if
you were to show an announcement from the Commissioner of
Internal Revenue admitting that the tax doesn't apply to the
earnings of most Americans and is misapplied most of the
time because people don't understand how it works? Or how
about if you showed a ruling from the Supreme Court saying
the same?
Now you just have to explain that
you're going to show exactly those things-- but because
the state really doesn't want people to know this, these
things haven't been said quite as forthrightly as we would
all wish. It's going to take a bit more work to take these
admissions in than is sufficient for just reading a press
release. But it'll be worth the effort...
IF YOU'RE NOT SPREADING THIS LINK with every bit of
energy you can, to school libraries, homeschool
families and community groups, your neighbors, your
family members, your pastors and
co-congregationalists, journalists, lawyers, CPAs,
members of congress, tax-agency workers, Wikipedia,
Anonymous, WikiLeaks, the Tax Foundation, everyone
in the "tax honesty" movement, the 9/11 truth
movement, other activist movements and everyone
else,
you have only yourself to blame for your
troubles with the tax, and a whole lot else of which
you might complain. It's on you.
WRITE A NICE, FRIENDLY AND BRIEF introductory note
explaining what will be seen at the link-- cryptic
is bad; excited is good-- and then send this WMI
(weapon of mass instruction) far and wide.
Remember: Real Americans don't accommodate fog, lies and a sliding scale of
adherence to the rule of law. Real American men and women stand up for the
truth and the law, come what may, knowing that it is only by setting the bar
at the top and enforcing it, come what may, that liberties are secured.

Reaction In Jacobin America
At peak woke, our reign of terror is
beginning to lose momentum because its continuation
would destroy all the work of 247 years of American
progress and sacrifice.

The decade-long French Revolution that broke out in
1789 soon devolved into far more than removing the
monarchy, as it became antithetical to the earlier
American precedent. American notions of liberty and
freedom were seen as far too narrow, given the
state, if only all-powerful and all-wise, could
mandate “equality” and force “fraternity” among its
subjects.
Each cycle of French
revolutionary fervor soon became more radicalized
and cannibalistic—until it reached its logical ends
of violent absurdity.
Originally, the idea of
curbing the power of a Bourbon king through a
parliamentary republic became lethally
counter-revolutionary.
Soon even attacks on the Catholic Church and the
abolition of the monarchy entirely were deemed
insufficient. The king himself and his consorts had
to be beheaded. Monasteries and churches were to be
ransacked, and priests exiled or lynched.
The sometimes moderate Girondins, who favored
constitutional government, were mostly executed by
their former friends among the Montagnards. In turn,
the latter were soon deemed too conservative for the
emerging crazy Jacobins. So they, too, had to be
decapitated. The ensuing year-long reign of terror
guillotined thousands of innocents, deemed guilty of
being guilty of something.
By 1793, the revolution had turned nihilist and
suicidal. The foundational date of France was
recalibrated (not as 1619 but) as 1789—or “year
one.”
Jacobins sought to wipe out religion, both
materially and spiritually. They replaced God,
first, with the atheistic “Cult of Reason” and then
a stranger still “Cult of the Supreme Being”—a
dreamed-up, living, humanistic god that only the
murderous Robespierre could fully envision, but
eerily similar to our own Green New Deal deity.
The months of the year themselves were renamed, the
days of the week renumbered and relabeled. Statues
were toppled, first at night, later in shameless
daylight. Place names were erased and renamed. The
original revolutionary heroes were not to be
mentioned; their uncouth successors deified. Money
was printed to “spread the wealth”—until it was
worthless.
Murderous cancel culture ran unchecked. Yesterday’s
French revolutionary became today’s
counterrevolutionary—and tomorrow’s decapitated.
Almost everyone who originally had opposed the
absolute monarchy, and, like the Americans, wished
for a constitutional replacement, was eventually
executed by revolutionaries who were then executed
by more radical revolutionaries. The longer and more
radical the revolution ran, the meaner, dumber, and
more deadly the revolutionaries who emerged from the
woodwork.
Finally, what could not go on, did not go on, as
French society unraveled. Then the so-called
Thermidors put an end to the madness of the
Robespierre brothers and their sidekick, the
26-year-old Saint-Just, and did to them what they
had done to thousands.
The final revolutionary correction saw a Directory,
then a Consulate, and finally the dictator
Napoleon—the self-described emperor who claimed he
was the final absolutist manifestation of the
“Revolution.”
WHAT A GREAT DEMONSTRATION OF THE VALUE OF HISTORICAL
KNOWLEDGE has been given us all here by Victor Davis Hanson! And what a
stern warning this piece delivers on the sharply dangerous
irresponsibility of allowing the teaching and study of history by young
Americans in most schools across the country to wither away over the
last few decades.
The widespread ignorance engineered by
that abandonment is terrifying when considered in
the light of Hanson's exposition.
As all will have recognized in reading
Hanson's piece to the end, America is in the throes
of madness eerily tracking that of murderous
revolutionary France (from which country have come,
interestingly, many of the absurd and insane
sophistries animating America's current madness).
The question is, will we also recognize the
immediacy and the extremity of the threat?
Are we going to whistle past the
graveyard, as those upon whom twilight is falling
usually do? Or will we skip ahead to the final
chapter of the book, awaken to the peril and what is
demanded from us, and rise to our feet and act-- the
Thermidors of our time and place, doing what is
needful for ourselves and our children?
We
can afford to do no less.
AS I WROTE IN THIS SPACE LAST EDITION, Justice
William O. Douglas warned us while we were still
enjoying sunnier weather:
"As nightfall does not come at once,
neither does oppression. In both instances, there's
a twilight where everything remains seemingly
unchanged, and it is in such twilight that we must
be aware of change in the air, however slight, lest
we become unwitting victims of the darkness."
We are well into the twilight of which
Douglas warns. The good things we have enjoyed all
our lives as Americans, and which were hard-won with
the blood and treasure of our ancestors, have been
slipping away from us for many years now. Being
stolen away, actually.
We are, in fact, at the inflection
point where we either go out with merely a whimper,
or we pop open our eyes and say "NO!" to the
thieves. No institutional structure is going to
spare us from that decision, and our children will
rightly curse us if we make the wrong choice.
Part of making the right choice is
coming to terms with the unpleasant truth that "the
state", that thing in which we we have grown up
immersed, is not our defender against villainy, but
is, rather the chief tool of the villains. There is
a reason the Founders and Framers designed what they
meant to remain a small,
low-harm-and-abuse-potential form of government and
warned us in every way they could not to let that
design become corrupted and the state to grow large.
We have dropped the ball on that one
(as did the prior couple of generations), and we
need to grab it up again. Happily those prescient
Founders and Framers left us the tools needed to
take care of a big part of the problem by
shrinking the Leviathan state.

someone who finds it easier to believe that the far-better-educated,
far-more-suspicious-of-government Americans of a hundred years ago were
complete morons who granted authority to the state to take whatever it
wished from themselves and their posterity than to imagine that they
themselves simply misunderstand the true nature of the income tax? Even
while knowing that their beliefs about the tax are derived entirely from
the representations of those who profit from those beliefs (like tax
bureaucrats and "tax professionals")?

discourage people from rebutting allegations that
they had done things I can tax, and wanted to keep them from
successfully reclaiming withheld or paid-in money, I
would salt the "tax honesty" community with
passionate-seeming "legal researchers" who would

May 25- In 1787, the convention called to revise the Articles
of Confederation-- primarily by authorizing the federal creation to claim a
piece of the action when its property, powers and privileges were profitably
exploited (duties, excises and tariffs), to impose apportioned taxes on the
states, and to regulate the commerce of state governments with each other, with
foreign nations and with the Indian tribes-- begins. In 1837, Quebec revolts
against British rule. In 1961, John F. Kennedy proposes landing an American on
the moon before the end of the decade. In 1977, 'Star Wars', the first
installment in a wildly-popular six-part story of rebellion against an arrogant
imperialist Leviathan, is released. In 2012, SpaceX's 'Dragon' becomes the
first private spacecraft to reach the International Space Station. In 2018,
political prisoner Doreen Hendrickson, suffering her second prison imprisonment
for refusing to swear to
belief in the truth of government-serving false statements on orders of a
federal court at the request of the Department of Justice (sic), is
released. In 2020, a man named George Floyd dies while in police custody in
Minneapolis. Floyd had several times a toxic dose of fentanyl in his system, and
chronic heart problems as well, but his death, which came after he resisted
arrest and was restrained on the ground pending the arrival of EMS (at his own
request), was ascribed to the restraining officer(s). Riots erupted across
American in response, under the leadership of members of the Democrat Party and
an organization called 'Black Lives Matter'.
If you're not talking this one up everywhere and
helping generate a buzz, you don't really want liberty and the

Hendrickson is also a widely-read essayist on
matters of politics, public policy and law; many of these works
are collected in his second book, �Upholding

soccer coach. He is a long-time political activist as well, and
has served as co-chair and platform convention delegate of
Michigan�s largest county Libertarian Party organization; as a
consultant to the National Right to Work Foundation and Citizens

as a member of the International Society for Individual
Liberty. He is a frequent radio-show guest on stations across
the country.
Hendrickson's business career has included nearly a
decade-and-a-half at the leading edge of the renewable-energy
industry, both as Director of Purchasing and Materials
Management and member of the R&D board at Starpak Energy
Systems, the mid-west's then-largest solar heating and
energy-recovery-and re-utilization company; and as founder and
president of AFJ Inc., a high-efficiency lighting design,
manufacture and installation firm.
Beginning in the mid-1990s and continuing for the
twelve years before his present full-time focus on the
restoration of the rule of law in America, Hendrickson directed
purchasing activities for the $84 million-a-year
multi-family-housing division of the Farmington Hills, Michigan
branch of Edward Rose and Sons, with responsibility for 18,000+
apartments, direct supervision of 35 technicians and agents, and
incidental authority over several hundred divisional workers.
He also ran the division's 10 cable television earth-station and
distribution systems in four states, and designed and
administered the company's website.
On rather the other end of the spectrum, amidst
these more mundane pursuits Hendrickson co-founded and was the
primary creative force behind a small
board- and
card-game company that enjoyed a modest success for several
years.
Hendrickson makes his home in southeast Michigan,
with his wife and two children. He is currently working on his
next book.
