To the counter-productive benefit of the war-mongers,
June 5- In 1723, Adam Smith, chief
economist to the Founders and Framers and definer of the Constitutional term
'capitation' is born. In 1917, conscription begins in the United States. In
1933, Congress, at the urging of the FDR administration, declared its intention
to default on its existing contractual obligations to redeem its debts in sound
and lawful money. In 1968, presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy is shot in
Los Angeles during a campaign speech. In 1977, the first practical personal
computer, the Apple II, goes on sale. Its CPU ran at 1 MHz, and it was loaded
with 4KB of RAM. In 1981, the CDC issues a report on five cases of what later
will be recognized as the first cases of AIDS in Los Angeles. In 1998, a
seven-week strike by the UAW at five General Motors plants begins.

Even Well-Intentioned
Commentators Persist In Getting The Ukraine Story
Wrong
...and the war-mongers (and Biden
supporters) benefit considerably thereby.
I AM FREQUENTLY DISAPPOINTED with
commentaries critical of US behavior in and about
the current conflict in Ukraine. This is true even
though I, too, am critical of that behavior--
extremely critical.
The problem commentaries do
acknowledge correctly that the Russian special
operation in Ukraine was provoked. This is good as
far as it goes, and is very important in response to
propaganda absurdly and falsely characterizing
Russia as a naked aggressor (and maybe one trying to
recreate the Soviet empire by military conquest, a
trope calculated to garner support for a
militaristic NATO response).
But these commentaries mistakenly confine
their articulation of that provocation to the
matter of NATO expansion toward Russian borders (and
its declared intent to include Ukraine in that expansion).
See
this one-- by a writer whom I otherwise hold in
high esteem-- as a recent example.
It is certainly true that NATO's aggressive expansion--
especially coupled with the US abrogation of the IMF
treaty-- is reason enough for Russia to have drawn a
serious red-line and reacted to its arrogant
disregard. But the threat of NATO expansion to
Ukraine was not the proximate cause provocation of
the Russian actions in February of 2022.
THE ACTUAL PROXIMATE CAUSE of Russia's
February, 2022, entry into Donetsk and Luhansk-- the
two eastern regions comprising the Donbas-- was the
amassing of ~150,000 troops by the
US-fomented coup
government in Kiev in preparation for an invasion
and ethnic cleansing of that territory. The Kiev
regime
had been shelling the Donbas, home to the
majority which had duly-elected ousted president
Viktor Yanukovich, for all of the 8 years since the
coup (in illegal disregard of the 2014 Minsk Accords
to which it was a signatory). Beginning in early
February, the neo-Nazi coup regime had
escalated that shelling dramatically,
telegraphing its intention to commence the genocide
at any moment.
When the coup-plotters consolidated
their hold on Kiev and its governmental apparatus in
the spring of 2014, the populations of Donetsk and
Luhansk-- seeing the writing on the walls and facing
edicts such as the banning of the Russian language
historically prevalent in eastern Ukraine-- declared
their independence (as had Crimea in
just the latest of its many attempts to free itself
from Kiev since the breakup of the USSR). Like
Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk had applied for
annexation by Russia, but while the former was
accepted, the latter were not. In fact, Russia even
declined to simply recognize Donetsk and Luhansk
independence.
But when Russia saw the accelerated
shelling in February, 2022 and the massing of
coup-regime troops on the Donbas border, and
recognized the atrocities about to commence if
nothing was done to stop them, Vladimir Putin
announced Russian recognition of the Donbas states
as independent and honored their request to assist
in their defense.
All of the foregoing summarizes the
real provocation to which Russia was
responding in its February, 2022 entry (not
invasion) of the Donbas, and its related efforts to denazify and demilitarize coup-regime Ukraine.
IT SHOULD BE OBVIOUS WHY the reporting
of this more complete backstory is important to
successfully countering the mindless (or maniacal)
plumping for the corrupt regime in Kiev and the
ever-more-dangerous war with Russia. When all that
is argued is that Russia was faced with security
threats, its actions in Ukraine are easy to condemn
as a bad choice from a menu of alternatives
responses.
But when it is shown that a largely
Russian-ethnic and overwhelmingly Russia-friendly
population was about to be slaughtered wholesale had
Putin not finally taken action that he had plainly
made every effort to avoid for eight long years--
and which was eventually taken in the most
restrained, harm-minimizing fashion possible, as
well-- everything changes.
Then there is no room left for the
condemnation of Russia used to justify sanctions
which hurt Americans more than Russians and which
are destroying the dollar's status a world reserve
currency. Then there are no moral grounds for
endless tranches of arms and money to the
coup-regime in Kiev, or the reckless escalations, or
the tedious posturing of ass-hats like Lindsey
Graham.
Then it becomes possible-- even
inevitable-- to recognize that the coup-fomenting,
Ukraine-military-training and spittle-flecked
bloviating Biden administration and its
congressional choir are, and have always been, the
actual aggressors in Ukraine since at least 2014,
and that the death and destruction and vast economic
and political destabilization by which the world is
being rocked belongs squarely and solely at their
feet.
THERE IS YET MORE to the backstory of
events in Ukraine-- see the revelations on the
Clinton Foundation and Ukraine
posted here, for instance. But the true reason
for Russian intervention is enough by itself to flip
the false war-monger narrative on its head and turn
the tide of public opinion around in time to avert
still more and worse barbarism and tragedy.
It will do so if YOU spread this
information around with all your might.
You perhaps imagine that what I have
told you here-- which I have said before, more than
once (such as
here,
for instance)-- is known to all, and certainly to
journalists and pundits. You would be wrong.
Those influencers of public opinion and
policy are even less likely to know truths such as
this than you are. They live in bubbles and echo
chambers, and most never began paying attention to
the Ukraine story until they started getting memos
on the subject last February-- memos heavily-tainted
by the Washington narrative.
As with so much else in these twilight
times, corrections of bad behavior by the state must
well up from the grassroots. Make yourself part of
that virtuous effort.

THIS PAST THURSDAY a couple of holdout
subversives at the new Twitter tried to thwart a no
charge one-year anniversary release of 'What Is A
Woman', the powerful trans-delusion-debunking
documentary by Daily Wire's Matt Walsh. DW had
arranged for the airing beforehand, and all had
seemed in hand until at the last minute it was
announced by Twitter's "Trust and Safety" department
that because the film contains footage of a store
owner referring to a man in drag as "he" and "him",
and a father referring to his teenage daughter as
"she" and "her", contrary to the delusional wishes
of each, the film would be suppressed.
Upon learning of this abuse, Elon Musk
stepped in and sh*t-canned the woke enemies of free
speech (and sanity) responsible for the offense,
and, further, tweeted to his massive following
(142,000,000)
a personal endorsement of the film.

SPEAKING OF TWITTER, THE DESANTIS CAMPAIGN ANNOUNCEMENT
on Twitter Spaces May 24 was NOT a "debacle". Nor was it a
disaster, or any other hyperventilated descriptor DeSantiphobes might care to offer.
It was unfortunate, and a bit
embarrassing, but it was also the treading of new
ground that simply could not have been tested
beforehand. After all, just how do you test
a chat-room's ability to handle 700,000 simultaneous
log-ins? Hire 700,000 test participants?
The fact is, even though delayed by
twenty minutes or so due to the technical problems
occasioned by the massive interest shown, the
announcement, in which DeSantis did an excellent job
of demonstrating his well-grounded and masterful
command of key issues facing America, was heard by
at least 3.4 million Americans within hours,
according to even as unfriendly a reporter as
The New York Times. That's a far bigger number
than could have been reached by an
announcement/speech on any mainstream media
platform.
So, let's recognize sour grapes
muttering when we hear it, and also not miss the
implicit motivations and agenda of such mutterings
(some discussion of which can be found in the second
entry in
this
post).
DeSantis for president, 2024.

FRIENDS, THE SPORADIC EASINGS of the despotic measures to
which most of the country has been subjected under
since the onset of the
COVID-19 hobgoblin narrative should not be
allowed to bleed off the head of steam you probably had been developing.
The offenses happened, and they're far from over. Stay hot.
And while you are all warmed up, and while others, if
they're smart, are just as hot, I'd like you to send an email (and
Facebook post, or whatever) with the following content to everyone you
can (with a request that they pass it along, in turn):
[Name], since March of 2020 you've
watched as over-fed state power has been used to literally destroy
classical Western civilization and impose a new despotic paradigm. No
dissent or debate permitted-- no permission or agreement sought.
YOU KNOW where this will end up if the arrogant
state power being used to make this happen isn't radically diminished in
size, influence, resources and popular support, and exposed as an
opportunistic exploiter of legal ignorance (an ignorance which it has
been nurturing in the average mind for decades).
Those things having not yet happened, you
should be quaking in your boots-- and you probably are.
Isn't it time-- and past time-- for you to
begin helping to make those desperately-needed defensive changes take
place? There is only one way these things can happen short of a
who-knows-what we'll-end-up-with explosion of violence. I'm going to
show it to you.
When you're done with that reading, you'll know
what to do next.
BTW, REMEMBER, ALSO, THAT EVERY AMERICAN has lately been given a stark lesson in the fact
that government officials at all levels will lie to you and violate the
law without batting an eye. They will do so any time it serves their agenda, and
you don't call them out for it.
If you know anyone who has been persisting in denial on the
truth about the income tax, you know such nonsense is usually be
grounded in some version or another of, "That can't be true..." or "They
would never do something like that...". Now's the time to put a pin in
that delusional bubble.
As the C19 hoax has starkly shown, "that" certainly CAN be true, and they
certainly WOULD do something
like that.
Use this evidence in all your
outreach efforts.

(Deceitful efforts to discourage Americans from
learning the truth about the "income tax")
FOR ALL THE YEARS SINCE 2003 when
CtC was first published, the government has engaged in a
concerted effort to frighten people away from its truths. This
effort involves official government websites and press releases
touting an occasional court ruling that appears to be at odds
with some
CtC-revelation (but without details sufficient to expose the
real substance of the ruling)--
and sometimes even more mendacious behavior.
Are the presentations and

But of course, no one IS obligated. I will continue

Are You Having Trouble Spreading The
Word?
SKEPTICISM (SOMETIMES INVOKED BY FEAR) IS TO BE
EXPECTED when you're trying to explain to someone that
everything they've been encouraged their whole lives to
believe about something as entrenched and significant as the
income tax is basically nonsense. So here's a way to help
cut through the resistance:
Ask your listener how he or she would react if
you were to show an announcement from the Commissioner of
Internal Revenue admitting that the tax doesn't apply to the
earnings of most Americans and is misapplied most of the
time because people don't understand how it works? Or how
about if you showed a ruling from the Supreme Court saying
the same?
Now you just have to explain that
you're going to show exactly those things-- but because
the state really doesn't want people to know this, these
things haven't been said quite as forthrightly as we would
all wish. It's going to take a bit more work to take these
admissions in than is sufficient for just reading a press
release. But it'll be worth the effort...
IF YOU'RE NOT SPREADING THIS LINK with every bit of
energy you can, to school libraries, homeschool
families and community groups, your neighbors, your
family members, your pastors and
co-congregationalists, journalists, lawyers, CPAs,
members of congress, tax-agency workers, Wikipedia,
Anonymous, WikiLeaks, the Tax Foundation, everyone
in the "tax honesty" movement, the 9/11 truth
movement, other activist movements and everyone
else,
you have only yourself to blame for your
troubles with the tax, and a whole lot else of which
you might complain. It's on you.

explaining what will be seen at the link-- cryptic

Remember: Real Americans don't accommodate fog, lies and a sliding scale of
adherence to the rule of law. Real American men and women stand up for the
truth and the law, come what may, knowing that it is only by setting the bar
at the top and enforcing it, come what may, that liberties are secured.

An anxious silence falls
over the land this Memorial Day as we discern
increasingly that those we put in charge of this
shape-shifting thing called the public interest are
running out of trips to lay on the people. Something
grotesque is revealing itself: a bankruptcy not just
of money but of national purpose, meaning, and
legitimacy. You realize this day, with a breaking
heart, that your country has been stolen by
psychopaths.
Brace for impact. We’re
already off the road and now it’s only a matter of
how this vehicle comes to a stop in the ditch. Then,
it’s a question of how each of us emerges from the
smoldering wreckage. The main thing, though, is
clear to everyone: What we were riding in is no
more. We’re out there stumbling around in the dark,
in shock, trying desperately to assess our
whereabouts and what has happened to us.
Now, the trouble with being ruled by psychopaths is
that they don’t care about other people. They are
actually incapable of imagining the lives of others,
especially the fact that these others care about
each other, and what happens to them. You may have
noticed, for instance, that the psychopath Senator
Lindsay Graham (R-SC) went to Ukraine last week and
declared, “Russians are dying. We have never spent
money so well.” Only a couple of months ago, he
called for the assassination of Vladimir Putin. He
stopped short of dissing Mr. Putin’s mother.
Ukraine, of course, is a lost cause, and it was
never a good cause in the first place. Contrary to
Lindsay Graham’s untoward utterance, American money
has killed far more Ukrainians than Russians. He
overlooked this unappetizing tidbit because he
doesn’t care about the Ukrainians, for whose sake
our “folks” in charge supposedly undertook this
clusterfuck. Lindsay Graham also may not have
noticed that our country is collapsing and Russia is
not. That must be because Lindsay Graham does not
care about Americans, either.
As for our money, it looks like most of the rest of
the world — the nations that still produce things of
value — are so turned-off by American pathocracy
that they are seeking every way possible to stop
using our money in international trade settlements.
That money, our dollar, became the world’s reserve
currency because our country ended up on top in the
previous world war and for the better part of a
century afterward dominated the planet militarily.
Naturally, as our leadership turned more
pathological and pathocratic, so did our military
endeavors — until lately they amount to little more
than just smashing up other countries to show we can
do it.
These other countries must wonder which is the next
place that America will try to smash up? Two of
these other countries, Russia and China, are coming
around to the realization that they are possibly
better equipped to do the smashing than America is.
There is no indication that our pathocracy
recognizes that the next smash-up may be World War
Three, and that we may not emerge from it
victorious.
Hence, our anxiety this Memorial Day as we reflect
on America’s military exploits generally, and must
perforce contemplate our less-than-glorious
prospects ahead. How will our pathocrat neo-con
strategists greet the debacle of our failure in
Ukraine? Denial and spin, for sure. But will they
scramble to dream up yet another misadventure as
reckless and absurd? You have good reason to be
concerned.
Pathocracy always marches toward totalitarianism
because pathocrats can’t imagine a management of
public affairs by a people who care about each other
(and their country). Therefore, everyone must be
subject to incessant coercion and punishment,
especially for their thoughts (and especially for
thoughts of opposition to pathocracy). However,
there are certainly more people who care about each
other than there are psychopaths in America. I’m not
a big fan of quantification but, for the record,
psychiatric meta-analysis estimates that 1.2 to 4.5
percent of the population displays psychopathic
personality disorders.
How that tiny fraction of the citizenry came to take
charge of our affairs is surely the big mystery of
the moment. My guess is that under conditions of
economic-social-and-political collapse, the people
who care about each other become preoccupied with
their mutual caretaking duties while the
psychopaths, unburdened by such cares, can go about
other business — such as plunder, murder, and the
sowing of chaos.
JAMES KUNSTLER EXPRESSES MYSTIFICATION as to how the
psychopaths (or sociopaths) came to take charge of our affairs. It's an
important question, to which
I have the answer
right here.
Included in that answer as to "how" is
the fix for the problem, which in turn is the fix
for the long train of abuses to which the
psycho/sociopaths have subjected the rest of us.
Read that piece through.
Think seriously about the fact that
America is at an inflection point. We either pull up
sharply right now, or we plow the field.
I'm in favor of pulling up sharply.
Doing that successfully means VIGOROUS
action by YOU.
Clicking on the image of Dorothy and
Glinda, below, will yield a short .pdf by which
anyone not welded to a government teat will quickly
be inspired and equipped to lend their strength to
climbing out of our suicidal dive, if shared around
with at least a subject line encouraging its
perusal.
Or, don't bother, and as Kunstler says,
brace for impact (though it won't do you any good--
impact with the inertia we're carrying right now
will leave debris fields reminiscent of the Pentagon
lawn and that field in Pennsylvania on 9/11.
Seriously, people. It's time to stop
whistling past the graveyard.

EVEN AS ARDENT A STATIST as Abraham
Lincoln, in announcing his willingness to burn the Southern states to the ground in order to

Do you
know someone truly steeped in the Kool-Aid?
I mean
someone who finds it easier to believe that the far-better-educated,
far-more-suspicious-of-government Americans of a hundred years ago were
complete morons who granted authority to the state to take whatever it
wished from themselves and their posterity than to imagine that they
themselves simply misunderstand the true nature of the income tax? Even
while knowing that their beliefs about the tax are derived entirely from
the representations of those who profit from those beliefs (like tax
bureaucrats and "tax professionals")?
Do you

PRO TIP: If I were the IRS and I wanted to
discourage people from rebutting allegations that
they had done things I can tax, and wanted to keep them from
successfully reclaiming withheld or paid-in money, I
would salt the "tax honesty" community with
passionate-seeming "legal researchers" who would
warn anyone whose ear they captured that filing a
1040 is a bad idea for one reason or another...

Illuminating Anniversaries of this week:
June 8- In 1789, James Madison introduces a proposed Bill of
Rights to the House of Representatives. In 1861, Tennessee secedes from the
union. In 1949, George Orwell's '1984' is published. In 1967, the USS Liberty,
a plainly-marked Navy intelligence ship flying a U.S. flag deep in international
waters, was strafed and torpedoed by Israeli warplanes and ships for more than
an hour, killing 34 crewmembers and wounding 171. Israel claims the attack was
a case of mistaken identity, and Admiral John McCain Jr. (father of the late
U.S. Senator McCain) convened a 10-day investigation of the incident within a
week of its occurrence, which endorsed this explanation and declared the matter
closed. However, internal White House documents indicate that the Johnson
administration knew better. Johnson himself ordered that no rescue ships were
to be dispatched from the carrier group closest to the stricken ship during the
attack. The survivors have been demanding a new investigation for years without
success.
If you're not talking this one up everywhere and
helping generate a buzz, you don't really want liberty and the
rule of law...

In light of
the actual evidence, those
who doubt or
deny the accuracy and correctness of
CtC just because some government officials
denounce it are like the 16th-century Europeans who
were mystified by
Copernicus getting all those
astronomical predictions right even though the
church had said he was wrong.

Ignorance of the true nature of the "income" tax
has gagged, gutted and seduced-into-disgrace America's
ministerial community. This must change.

Senate-imposed death by flogging for his various crimes in office. In
1650, the Harvard Corporation-- the first corporation in America-- is
formed. In 1732, James Oglethorpe is granted a royal charter for an
American colony called Georgia. In 1856, 500 Mormon "Handcart Pioneers"
set out walking from Iowa City, Iowa to Salt Lake City, Utah. In 1915,
William Jennings Bryan resigns as Woodrow Wilson's Secretary of State
over the Wilson administration's underhanded behavior in regard to the
sinking of the RMS Lusitania with Americans on board, which Wilson used
overcome public resistance to an American entry into World War I. (See

Last Word
"If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude
greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We
seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that
feeds you. May your chains set lightly upon you; and may posterity forget
that ye were our countrymen."

Adams, Architect of the first American Revolution

Hendrickson is also a widely-read essayist on
matters of politics, public policy and law; many of these works
are collected in his second book, Upholding
the Law And Other Observations. He is a member of Mensa;
an
award-winning artist; and has paid his dues as a youth
soccer coach. He is a long-time political activist as well, and
has served as co-chair and platform convention delegate of
Michigans largest county Libertarian Party organization; as a
consultant to the National Right to Work Foundation and Citizens
for a Sound Economy; as a member of the Heartland Institute; and
as a member of the International Society for Individual
Liberty. He is a frequent radio-show guest on stations across
the country.
Hendrickson's business career has included nearly a
decade-and-a-half at the leading edge of the renewable-energy
industry, both as Director of Purchasing and Materials
Management and member of the R&D board at Starpak Energy
Systems, the mid-west's then-largest solar heating and
energy-recovery-and re-utilization company; and as founder and
president of AFJ Inc., a high-efficiency lighting design,
manufacture and installation firm.
Beginning in the mid-1990s and continuing for the
twelve years before his present full-time focus on the
restoration of the rule of law in America, Hendrickson directed
purchasing activities for the $84 million-a-year
multi-family-housing division of the Farmington Hills, Michigan
branch of Edward Rose and Sons, with responsibility for 18,000+
apartments, direct supervision of 35 technicians and agents, and
incidental authority over several hundred divisional workers.
He also ran the division's 10 cable television earth-station and
distribution systems in four states, and designed and
administered the company's website.
On rather the other end of the spectrum, amidst
these more mundane pursuits Hendrickson co-founded and was the
primary creative force behind a small
board- and
card-game company that enjoyed a modest success for several
years.
Hendrickson makes his home in southeast Michigan,
with his wife and two children. He is currently working on his
next book.
