So, Here We Are At "Resolution Day"...

A semi-annual "wake-up" call for today's real American men and women. You may have seen this before, but no matter. Read it again. It's that important.

RESOLUTION DAY.

That is,

• "NO MORE DENIAL Day"

• "NO MORE, "I DON'T DARE..." Day"

• "NO MORE, "THE BAD MEN WILL NOTICE ME SO I'D BETTER NOT!" Day"

• "NO MORE, "I'LL WAIT FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO GO FIRST..." Day"

In short, here we are at,

• "GET OFF YOUR ASS Day"

• "GET LOUD AND PROUD AND UN-COWED Day"

I'm talking about,

• "DON'T STOP 'TIL YOU'VE GOT LIBERTY AND THE RULE OF LAW Day"

• "FACE THE FACTS Day"

• "NO TIME TO RELAX Day"...

MORE THAN ANYTHING, here we are at "PUT ASIDE DELUSIONS Day" That's what the original "Resolution day" was all about. It was the day the American colonists finally acknowledged that the people they had been entreating to respect their rights actually didn't want them to have their rights.

It was the day the American colonists finally acknowledged that the government operatives they had been petitioning and politicking and lobbying and arguing with weren't misled or mistaken or suffering from misunderstanding, needing only to have things explained a bit better, or argued a bit more authoritatively. Instead, as the colonists realized and finally admitted by way of the Declaration of Independence, those operatives were their competitors. Those operatives were the colonists' opponents. Efforts to persuade them were pointless-- they admitted to no limits on their power and had no interest in curbing its abuse, which was being practiced for their benefit.

IT WAS HARD for the colonists to reach that epiphany about their government. Because states exercise power (and partly also because they maintain an elaborate apologia dedicated to justifying that exercise as being for the good of the citizenry, or at least the way things must or are supposed to be), they come to be viewed as virtual parents in the hind-brains of those subject to that power. It is very hard for people to recognize and acknowledge that actual Mom and Dad are bad people. It is nearly as hard for people to recognize that the state under the influence of which they have been raised is corrupt and malicious.

But of course, sometimes Mom and Dad are indeed bad, and states usually are. And while Mom and Dad can and often do become remorseful, and proceed to reform and redemption, states are institutionally-incapable of remorse. The only remedy against a bad state is taking away its power. Eventually, after wasting all that time and effort on petitioning, politicking, lobbying and arguing, the American colonists admitted this truth on their Resolution Day and said, "No more talking-- it's time for walking!"

Bless them for abandoning their child-like view of the state and becoming grown-ups at last.

IT REMAINS TO BE SEEN if we modern Americans are equally deserving of blessings. We should be up to the task; after all, we have a much easier row to hoe than the colonists did.

While we, too, must adopt a grown-up understanding of the true character of the dangerous servant against which we have been wisely warned, our state is already bound down by the written law, thanks to the blood and sacrifices of our ancestors. All we have to do is recognize that the state is constantly struggling to escape any limitations placed upon it by that law, and to suppress and marginalize anyone revealing its bad behavior and anything showing how it can be put back into its chains.

Particularly, we have to recognize that the biggest and most important limitation put upon the state concerns its ability to take resources from individual citizens for its own use. It's this simple-- the one who controls the disposition of property is the one in charge.

Because it is so important, for decades the United States has been engaged in the cultivation and exploitation of myths about what limitations are placed upon it in regard to resource acquisition. Sadly, for most of those decades most Americans have fallen for the fictions.

Chief among these state-serving, people-harming myths is the truly absurd proposition that our grandparents amended the Constitution in 1913 to authorize the state's exploitation of their resources at its will, in defiance and rejection of the previous tax-limiting Constitutional rules under which the American people had become the freest and most prosperous in the history of the world.

THIS IS A MYTH! It never happened, and even the premier organs of the state itself have said so endlessly-- but quietly, so as to preserve the on-the-books harmony of the law while allowing the state (and its clients and cronies) to ruthlessly exploit anyone who doesn't know to look and remains in ignorance.

After you take these enlightening excursions, recognize that every single person or institution that would lose prestige, power or profits by acknowledging the truth about the tax can be expected to lie about the subject if queried. So will every interest that sees itself benefitting from the existence of a mammoth state (which might even include those who make their living complaining about the mammoth state, or the supposed evils of the income tax).

Every one of these persons and interests are today's equivalents of the invested promoters and defenders of the "divine right of kings" myth that kept people enthralled and exploited in the colonists' time.

But also recognize that now knowing the truth, the power is in your hands. The responsibility is, too.

Rise to deserve the blessings of liberty.

Make this year's "Resolution Day" real by making it a personal Declaration Day-- a day on which you resolve to act relentlessly on behalf of liberty and the rule of law, and to hound everyone you can reach into doing the same.

An Eclectic Survey Of The Current Splash Zone

Another point about the hugely-important Moore ruling; a bit of analysis of the two New Year's Day false flag events; airing some concerns about the upcoming second Trump administration; a sharp and instructive irony in the Sarah McBride story; and a few words about the just begun 2025 Season of Lies.

ONE OF THE EASIEST WAYS to leverage the Supreme Court's Moore v. US admissions of last June is to observe that whatever one might understand (or believe) about the nature of the income tax, Moore makes it clear that the manner in which the lower courts and the tax agencies have administered and enforced the tax, and to which you (or your interlocutor) have been accustomed, has been wrong. Those agencies and courts have stated outright that they have administered the tax as a direct tax relieved of the apportionment requirement, but as the Supreme Court has just plainly-stated in Moore, it is no such thing.

Applying the same point to a specific context, Moore establishes that every lower court income tax decision which claimed-- or relied on a prior decision which claimed-- that the Brushaber court deemed the tax to be direct but relieved of the apportionment requirement, is bad law. Put another way, any case which failed to analyze the tax or its application in light of its nature as an excise, or relied upon a precedent which made the same mistake, is bad law.

I THINK THE NEW YEAR'S DAY false-flag "terrorist attacks" are the most egregious propaganda scams I've ever seen...

Plainly timed and meant to influence the House Speaker election in ultra-Zionist Mike Johnson's favor and to furnish the Israel über alles crowd with grist for the "Let's go to war with Iran" mill, these slop-fests nonetheless appear to have been hurried out by folks still a bit fuzzy from hard holiday partying.

This tone with which I describe these events is in no way meant to make light of the heinous crimes and deep tragedies involving the victims of the New Orleans truck attack and subsequent shoot-out with police, nor of the person whose unrecognizable body was found in the Tesla truck in Las Vegas or the several people injured in the blast set off there after, apparently, the man in the driver's seat was already dead.

Rather, while acknowledging all those tragedies in the most heartfelt way possible, we all must nonetheless look past them and at the bigger picture in order to protect ourselves and the America we love from being gulled into conclusions and reactions intended by those who bear responsibility for those tragedies and the crimes from which they result. That bigger picture view may not positively identify the real perps, but it makes pretty clear that whatever really happened in those two New Year's Day events, it's not what the usual suspects are trying to sell.

THE PSYOP MARKERS for these purported "terrorist attacks" (the Las Vegas one of which has lately been sloppily reassigned as just an inexplicable halftime-show level suicide as the early detail-release oopsies made the original story harder and harder to defend) are rampant. Most egregious (and most ironic) is the false flag meant to flesh out the storyline in the New Orleans attack.

I refer to the ISIS flag mounted on the truck driven by the alleged radical Muslim terrorist.

It was upside down.

This is not the kind of mistake you'd expect from a real ISIS terrorist, even a relative newcomer to the cause. But it is exactly what might be expected from a propagandist unfamiliar with that cause and its symbols, and especially one hurrying out a "terrorist theater" event and throwing on last-minute details to help lock in the sale.

I think this false flag thing is enough by itself to establish my opening premise: that the New Orleans event is a "false flag" psyop presented by, and serving the interests of, those wanting the US to go to war against Iran. Iran is the last country on the pre-9/11 deep state hit list famously shared with Americans by General Wesley Clark during a 2007 interview by Democracy Now, and its time has now come, as far as the neo-com nutcases are concerned. But there's more.

Everyone who knew the New Orleans truck driver, Shamsud-Din Bahar Jabbar, has said that if he ever displayed any hint of "radicalization" it wasn't much and only just recently. He was, however, at a very low point in his life, having suffered marital and business failures-- which is to say, at a point of high susceptibility to suggestion and manipulation.

Some videos posted on his Facebook page are cited as evidence of Jabbar's radical jihadi frame of mind, but all of them only appeared within a few hours of his attack. Hardly evidence of an actual radicalization-- instead it seems more like evidence of stagecraft. Someone only reaches the point of murder-suicide on behalf of a cause after a long evolution of increasingly agitated thinking, a record of which arising over the months or years of that evolution would inevitably exist.

Instead, we get the announcement of the five videos, and then an obviously staged and otherwise inexplicable, counter-to-norms tour by a hack journalist of what ought to be the closely cordoned-off, sensitive-evidence-rich home of Jabbar, in which damning artifacts of the sort that would be written into a B-movie script are presented one-by-one. The display of contempt for the target audience of this narrative theatrical is really quite remarkable.

THEN THERE IS THE MATTER of Jabbar having spent a lot of time at Fort Bragg, North Carolina-- home to the US Army's Psychological Operations unit, and at the same time as Matthew Livelsberger, the truck driver said to have died in the Tesla Cybertruck in Las Vegas on New Year's Day. Ryan Routh, the man accused of lurking in the rough at a golf course intending to shoot Donald Trump last summer was also a frequent visitor to that facility, as it happens.

One thing Psychological Operations might involve is identifying susceptible targets and then molding them into tools for the molder's purposes. But maybe the time spent there by three men all of whom went off to do heinous, outside-agenda-furthering, deeply self-harming stuff was just coincidental.

HERE'S ANOTHER COINCIDENCE: In addition to sharing time spent at Fort Bragg, both Jabbar and Livelsberger rented the vehicles they used on New Year's Day from the same vendor. That last bit (the same vendor) was very possibly a valid coincidence, but the decision to rent from any vendor is another matter, it seems to me. Did neither of these men own a vehicle?

And why make the long drives involved in each case, rather than commit their alleged acts of ideologically-inspired terrorism somewhere within the equally target-rich environments closer to home? Livelsberger lived in Colorado Springs, 816 miles from Las Vegas. Jabbar lived in Houston, 535 miles from New Orleans.

I have no explanation for why New Orleans and Las Vegas might have struck some propagandist as particularly choice locations for these events. But I think it's even tougher to explain why these two men would target places a long-day's drive away from home when New Year's Eve parties were surely happening all over Houston, and prominent places sure to get plenty of attention when made ground zero for a truck bomb incident can be easily found in Colorado.

Although it does so in an inchoate way, the oddity of these locations-- especially in both cases-- suggests the direction of an actor other than Jabbar and Livelsberger. And such direction shouldn't be assumed to always be rational and meaningful. It can be randomized, just to muddy the waters, as this perhaps appears to be. But again, Jabbar and Livelsberger would have no such motive, while a hidden hand very well might.

FOCUSING A BIT MORE on Matthew Livelsberger, the apparent Las Vegas truck bomber, whose body was said to be burned beyond recognition as was everything else in the truck except a remarkably durable military ID card and passport:

 ...reminiscent of nothing so much as the miraculous passport found on the ground in New York on 9/11 which ensured public acceptance of the official narrative of 19 Arabs with box cutters as the perps, and precluded timely consideration of other possibilities which became better and better supported by the slowly-emerging evidence over the following years but only after things like the PATRIOT Act and the invasion of Iraq were all fait accompli.

Another suspicious anomaly of the Las Vegas truck bomb was its amateurish character, when the alleged perpetrator, Matthew Livelsberger, was a highly-trained Army Special Forces veteran easily capable of making things light up in a big way. One explanation for the incongruity consistent with other evidence is that psychological manipulation by which Livelsberger was made to kill himself in a spectacular way had him in so puppetlike as to be incapable of engaging his higher faculties in the task.

ALL TOLD, there is much to wonder about in these New Orleans and Las Vegas New Year's Day events, but as always, the first question upon encountering mysteries such as these is Cui bono? (who benefits?). Certainly not Islamic jihadis or Muslims in general, either in the US or elsewhere. After all, taken as given by the official narratives, these events will serve as pretexts for increased US aggression against just such groups.

In fact, that the narrative will focus American ire on Muslims (whether formally ISDIS or otherwise) answers the question of who benefits from these horrific events and the deaths and injuries that they have entailed. The beneficiary is plainly those who WISH American ire to be so focused, and who see such a focus as in service to their interests, rather than the Muslims who are thus put in the crosshairs (or Jabbar and Livelsberger themselves).

Figuring out who that is is paramount, as is keeping firmly in mind that only by doing so will we learn who is really responsible for the deaths of 17 Americans on New Year's Day in New Orleans and Las Vegas.

IS DONALD TRUMP going to be the good guy this time around, or is he again going to be the Menschurian Candidate, doing a little window dressing in regard to American interests while making his real focus Israeli interests (and usually at America's expense)?

It's not looking good.

As many have already observed, Trump's key appointments are uniformly Zionist. Some, like Pete Hegspeth and Mike Johnson, are rabidly so, apparently believing that God Himself (not Trump, but actual God) has commanded them to serve Israel and also that what happens to America while they do is of no significance, since their service to Israel will quickly lead to the desired destruction of the world.

Briefly, Trump had made one key appointment who is NOT, it seems, a Christian Zionist lunatic-- Matt Gaetz for Attorney General-- but the deep state machinery quickly rolled into action. It spun out a long-discredited but still smelly sex scandal allegation against Gaetz, giving the made members of the senate a pretext for lining up to declare Gaetz a non-starter for confirmation.

Gaetz was then replaced for the AG nomination with Pam Bondi, a (wait for it...) lunatic Zionist, rounding out Trump's team as a four-square Israel First administration.

Bondi has offered a nice demonstration of her Israel First/ America, who knows? orientation. She has stated that students-- even American citizen students-- who protest deep US state enabling of Israeli actions against the native Palestinian population they have displaced and dispossessed for 77 years now should be subjected to FBI scrutiny, "watch listing" and interrogations over that speech.

Apparently, in Bondi's view, a core American interest-- the preservation and defense of the US Constitution, which includes the First Amendment-- should take a back seat to protecting Israel from having its indefensible barbarisms called-out and publicly condemned.

Not only does Bondi (and everyone else who attacks protestors as she does) assault the Constitution with her expressions, but she puts Israeli interests above American interests in a purely practical sense, as well. Anti-Israel protestors neither take our money nor threaten our rights. But pro-Israel tools like Bondi & Co. DO take our money-- the Biden puppeteers just announced yet another $8bn. in (completely illegal) arms "sales" to the apartheid state, using US taxpayers money for the "purchase"-- and DO threaten our rights, as in Bondi's porposed speech assault.

Indeed, folks like Bondi and the rest of Trump's proposed Israel First cabinet threaten not only Americans' rights, but our very existence. As noted in the preceding topic, these folks have been clear with their eagerness to start (or enable) a war against Iran which is likely to turn into WW III and give the Mike Johnson types that Armageddon of which they've been dreaming-- at least, the total destruction part of that religious-porn wet-dream.

We all heard endlessly that MAGA meant Making America Great Again. The reality is shaping up to be the same show as the last time, only on a different day:

ONE THING UPON WHICH I HAVE TO COMMENT both because it merits the attention on its own, and because it will, in a way, lighten the mood a bit, is something I learned about incoming congresscritter Sarah McBride (D-DE) from a newspaper article to which Doreen directed me last week. It seems that Sarah had a long-term relationship and eventually married someone named Andrew Cray (since deceased).

Now, Sarah McBride is actually a man who pretends to be a woman. Andrew Cray was actually a woman who pretended to be a man.

In short, McBride and Cray were a biologically normal heterosexual couple. Each of them insisted on cross-dressing, but that was as far as their pioneering into the Brave New World went, when all was said and done, and however much they may have viewed themselves as living on the daring cutting-edge of cultural transformation.

It may have even been more farcically undramatic an adventure for McBride and Cray, though.

Although it is unreported in the sources available to me, it is very possible McBride and Cray had each gone for "gender-assignment surgery". In that case they would still have been a standard (though deeply mentally-ill) heterosexual couple, but one incapable of real or fruitful intercourse due to the real penis and vagina originally between them having both been destroyed thanks to their tight embrace of their delusions, whereas otherwise they could have done the dirty deed just like normal people-- saving only for the matter of which one was wearing the lingerie.

FINALLY, we are now in the 2025 Season of Lies concerning the income tax, in which millions of inaccurate "information returns" (i.e., W-2s, 1099s, K-1s, etc.) are going to be on their way to citizens across the land, needing to be either affirmed if correct or rebutted if not. These allegations are also due to arrive at tax agencies across the land, which will treat all of them as solid grounds for considering a related tax amount as due and owing if the aforementioned rebuttals are not forthcoming.

It is during the next three-and-a-half months that Americans have their greatest chance to re-take control of the ship of state, which was relinquished in ignorance and foolishness some 80 years ago, and begin steering us away from the iceberg looming in the waters ahead.

Those of you who already know of what I speak will doubtless be taking care of things for yourselves. But it is more imperative than ever before, as shown to some degree by the other matters discussed above, that those who DON'T know of what I speak be given a chance to become educated and add their weight to the corrective task at hand.

In my opinion nothing is a better resource for accomplishing that educational mission than the little three-page document here. I urge all of you that care to download that .pdf and send it on to as many people as possible, along with a persuasive message encouraging the recipient to read it.

Not Letting This "Crisis" Go To Waste...

...an important action item opportunity.

FRIENDS, THE SPORADIC EASINGS of the despotic measures to which most of the country has been subjected under since the onset of the COVID-19 hobgoblin narrative should not be allowed to bleed off the head of steam you probably had been developing. The offenses happened, and they're far from over. Stay hot.

Regarding Trolleries

(Deceitful efforts to discourage Americans from learning the truth about the "income tax")

SKEPTICISM (SOMETIMES INVOKED BY FEAR) IS TO BE EXPECTED when you're trying to explain to someone that everything they've been encouraged their whole lives to believe about something as entrenched and significant as the income tax is basically nonsense. So here's a way to help cut through the resistance:

Ask your listener how he or she would react if you were to show an announcement from the Commissioner of Internal Revenue admitting that the tax doesn't apply to the earnings of most Americans and is misapplied most of the time because people don't understand how it works? Or how about if you showed a ruling from the Supreme Court saying the same?

Now you just have to explain that you're going to show exactly those things-- but because the state really doesn't want people to know this, these things haven't been said quite as forthrightly as we would all wish. It's going to take a bit more work to take these admissions in than is sufficient for just reading a press release. But it'll be worth the effort...

Time To "Allocate", Mr. President-Elect

For crying out loud, Mr. President-Elect. During your first time at the plate you didn’t accomplish the salutary outcome of delivering the most conservative Supreme Court of modern times solely so that it could write Dobbs and thereby return the regulation of abortion (or not) to the states where it properly belongs. You actually now have a court that will do a lot more good—and in the present instance that includes permitting you to take rational and urgent action to require the Federal government to live within its means.

We are referring, of course, to the presidential authority to allocate Federal revenues on a priority basis if the latter falls short of scheduled expenditures and there is no available headroom under the public debt ceiling for the US Treasury to borrow in order to cover the shortfall. And with the impending expiration of the current debt ceiling suspension on January 1st that’s exactly what you will need to do from the very first hour you return to the Oval Office.

So, please, do not under any circumstances capitulate to the Swamp Creatures and embrace a debt ceiling increase, thereby requiring your GOP congressional rank-and-file to walk the plank to vote for more open-ended borrowing on top of the $36.5 trillion public debt that will be in place by year end. The GOP has done the Swamp’s dirty work too long, and, besides, you were elected to drain it, not nourish it with more IOUs.

Needless to say, the minute you move to allocate the incoming revenues to debt service payments and say social security benefits, Veterans support and critical national security operations while cutting back or deferring everything else, you will get the Congress’ attention with respect to the urgent matter of entitlement reform, spending cuts and fraud, waste and inefficiency removal like no president has ever done in our lifetime.

Of course, the Swamp Creatures will first scream default, default, default! But that’s complete baloney and by taking decisive action to rationally allocate revenues in the absence of a debt ceiling increase you can make it abundantly clear that Washington has no choice except to finally bite the bullet on the nation’s runaway public debt. And for the reasons we outline below, we believe that the Roberts Court will not block any such effort to embrace fiscal sanity.

To start with, the current cash balance in the Treasury’s TGA account at the Fed is $800 billion, which would be enough to cover interest payments averaging $100 billion per month well past mid-year. So adroit use of the allocation power should eliminate any possibility of a short-term upset in the bond markets.

As a practical matter, the current $800 billion cash balance should be held in reserve and metered into current funding applications on a cautious basis in order to buy plenty of time for negotiations with Congress over the sweeping entitlement reforms and defense and nondefense appropriations cuts which are urgently needed. Thus, perhaps $100 billion per month could be released from the TGA account for current payments.

Based on the US Treasury’s most recent outlook for FY 2025 the underlying challenge would be to bridge the gap between projected monthly receipts of $465 billion and monthly outlays averaging $620 billion. But with the $100 billion drawdown from the cash balance, as a practical matter the equation to be balanced would amount to $565 billion of available cash per month or 91% of projected monthly outlays.

In that 9% shortfall condition, the President would have full powers, as we explain below, to prioritize the $620 billion per month of outlays. One sensible approach would be to pay 100% of certain high priority items, and then allocate the balance of available cash to a pro-rata cut of all other Federal accounts. As it turns out, that allocation factor for all except interest payments, Social Security, Veterans benefits and military pay would be about 84% as shown below in this example.

DAVID STOCKMAN is a treasure-- a very well-spoken, well-educated and thoughtful observer with a strong bias for sound governmental policies and practices and a strong grasp of what is necessary to achieve them. I read everything I encounter of his writings, and would urge everyone else to do the same.

In the piece above, Stockman makes a great case for how and why the new Trump administration can and should step up to the plate and begin the much-needed process of reining in the dangerously-uncontrolled federal spending juggernaut of the last quarter century+. Stockman may well be talking to a brick wall (as I am sure he realizes), since Trump has never shown the least interest in fiscal responsibility, but the case Stockman makes needs to be made.

Even if Trump and team have no interest, the wise among the American people surely do, and perhaps even some in Congress (Thomas Massie, at least) will find Stockman's article inspiring of action.

 AT THE SAME TIME that we hope for fiscal epiphanies among public officialdom, let's remember that even if the political class is disinclined to rein itself in (as it always seems to be), the American people, individually, are equipped by the Founders and Framers with the power to make that happen even despite official resistance.

All the people need to do is learn how and why to say "NO!"

Those of us who have already received that liberating and empowering lesson need to help the rest of the American population quickly understand the truth about the income tax, such that even though Washington remains in the hands of immoral establishment hacks and self-servers it finds its ability to just carry on with chronic irresponsibility in spending severely curtailed.

Such an effort is easier than ever now, with the US Supreme Court having just reaffirmed its 108-year-old ruling in Brushaber v. Union Pacific RR. Co., acknowledging the truth about the income tax revealed in CtC.

Remember, the arising and sustenance of the Leviathan state monster is a direct result of the successful mis-administration of the US income tax laws. This began primarily in the early 1940s with the adoption of the Current Tax Payment Act of 1943 amidst the tumult of WWII, and after a couple of decades of corrupt misrepresentation of the 16th Amendment's purpose and effect, despite that misrepresentation being squarely in defiance of the history of the amendment and multiple express Supreme Court rulings on the subject.

Shrinking that Leviathan state monster merely involves the reversing of that misadministration-- something that can be done by individual Americans, acting one-by-one, with no help or approval of any government official. Each such act makes use of state-restraining tools baked into the Constitutional cake by the Founders and Framers, and each such act WILL make a difference, however small. Most important, each such act will absolve the actor from the dishonor of participation in the heinous crimes their resources would otherwise finance.

All that is required is some knowledge (which can be gotten here), and some courage-- the latter of which naturally blooms in the hearts of real Americans when given the nourishment of the former. As the saying goes, America is the Land of the Free because it is the Home of the Brave.

Seriously, people. It's time to stop whistling past the graveyard and start using the powerful and important tools with which our wise ancestors equipped us.
