The Ongoing Ugliness of the
Epstein Affair
...and the even uglier NSA surveillance
data access enjoyed by Israel since at least 2009
which makes what Epstein appears to have been doing
just the "belt" of a more comprehensive "belt and
suspenders" subversion operation.
SO, ALL THE RECENT FUROR CONCERNING the
Jeffrey Epstein case-- and the related
spin-doctoring-- compels me to interrupt my hiatus
and share a few thoughts. The fact is, the Epstein
thing is part of a really big deal, and attention
must remain there like a laser until all has been
revealed.
The heart of the matter is the
proposition-- which is supported by a large body of
evidence-- that Epstein videotaped guests at his
properties while they committed despicable crimes
against children, or engaged in other shameful
behavior by which they became vulnerable to
blackmail.
The crimes against children (some
of which are already established) are of
independent significance, needing to be exposed and
punished for their own sake. But the real serious
matter of public interest is the likely blackmailing
operation.
That blackmailing propsect matters
hugely because those who are suspected of having
engaged in the videotaped crimes and being targeted
by the blackmail were, in many cases, public
office-holders either at the time or later. Or, they
were wealthy behind-the-scenes movers and shakers in
what is known as the "donor class", along with
people influential in media.
Blackmail against these heinous
perverts would not have had the personal enrichment
of Epstein or any other individual as its object.
Rather, the object would have been (and would still
be, until all has been revealed) control over United
States governmental policy and mainstream media
messaging.
Epstein,
whose ties to Israeli intelligence are plain,
appears to have run a giant honey-trap on behalf of
a multifaceted Israeli project
to
shape US foreign policy and American public
attitudes to its benefit. That project likely
involves the coercion of office-holding blackmail
targets into votes and other public-office actions
on behalf of Israel-favoring legislation and
judicial decisions, and compelling the financing of
Israel-favoring candidates for office by the wealthy
"donor class" targets (both directly and through
agents such as AIPAC).
Parallel to the public-policy control
is the narrative management operation. This involves
suppressing
public awareness of Israeli crimes
through broad attacks on American speech rights
under the ever-more risible label of anti-semitism,
and demonizing targets selected by Israel for destruction--
such as the pre-9/11 governments of Iraq, Syria,
Lebanon, Libya, and Iran, and the emergent Houthis
in Yemen and the short-lived Morsi presidency in
Egypt-- through relentless propaganda
campaigns.
RIGHT NOW, THE AMERICAN PUBLIC is lit
up in a brief flare of insight and interest in this
heinous subversion of our beloved country. This is
due to the table-pounding for the "release of the
Epstein files" by Republican candidates for office
during the last election cycle in a pander to
widespread public interest, followed, since last February, by a ham-handed and
ridiculous clown-show of back-pedaling which
traversed the course from, "The Epstein client list
is on my desk being reviewed", through the photo-op
of "Phase One" files being released to MAGA
influencers (all of which proved to be nothing but
already-in-the-public-record retreads), to "there
are no files or lists; everyone should shut up about
this and move on".
Salting the ugly goulash was the 180º
reversal of long-stated views by FBI director Kash
Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino that Jeffrey
Epstein was murdered in prison shortly after his
arrest in 2019 rather than having committed suicide,
as was the extremely implausible official story, a
reversal accompanied by videotapes of what was
purported to be the door of Epstein's cell during
the time of his death-- videotapes quickly shown to
have significant gaps in coverage of the times in
question, but which had been spliced together in an
effort to conceal this fact, and showed signs of
other manipulations.
More spice has been added to the mix by
what must be assumed to be the deliberate confusion
of "lists" and "files", which has Attorney General
Pam Bondi claiming that
when she said she had the Epstein client list on her
desk for review she meant the Epstein "file"
('cause there now IS no "list", remember). Bondi
appears to be pretending that by "client list",
those clamoring for its release mean some kind of
database in which Epstein recorded each child
molester's name, victim, venue and date, when what
is actually (and obviously) meant is just the names
of the perps which can be gleaned from
the admittedly available "ten of thousands of hours
of videotape" taken from Epstein's premises upon
his arrest (tapes which Bondi carefully describes as
videos of Jeffrey Epstein with children, as
though the man spent every waking hour over years
doing nothing but personally molesting kids, all on
his own).
Bondi recently churned that mix,
indignantly pretending that the clamor for
revelations was an effort to get a bunch of child
porn dumped onto the internet, when the clamor is
actually (and obviously) for revelations of who
among us has been made vulnerable to blackmail, so
the harms thus done can be reversed and future harms
can be forestalled.
More recently still, we are asked to
believe that whatever is in the Epstein files is a
fabrication by the Democrats. No explanation is
offered as to why, if this is true, the scheming
Democrats never aired those presumably
Trump-targeting hoaxy files...
Even the "modified,
limited hangout" scheme is being bungled in the
desperate scramble to defuse the Epstein bomb...
Regarding the Trump administration
officials involved in all this (Trump himself
included), I'll let the very wise Thomas Paine
comment:
It is impossible to calculate the moral
mischief, if I may so express it, that mental lying
has produced in society. When a man has so far
corrupted and prostituted the chastity of his mind
as to subscribe his professional belief to things he
does not believe he has prepared himself for the
commission of every other crime.
Regarding the cover-up itself, I'll
reiterate that it IS a desperate scramble. Again, as
indicated above, the Epstein affair is one of deeply
criminal-- even treasonous-- subversion of the
United States government (and that of many state
governments as well, it must be presumed). The
capture of both the federal and state governments by
Israeli operatives is evident in policy decisions,
speech right infringements, anti-BSD laws and
manifest MSM biases, and has been for a long time.
Indeed, credible cases can be made for
Israeli involvement in the assassinations of the
Kennedys and the events of 9/11, and well-documented
evidence of many other Israeli crimes against
America over decades of time is easily found (see
here for a bunch of it).
All told, the ugly Epstein affair is a
big deal-- potentially. Already, the cover-up
plainly under way is significant in its own right.
And the possible revelations of Israeli blackmail
campaigns against US officials and others is, of
course, the plum at the heart of the matter.
BUT...
The cover-up has been successful so
far. And, of course, whatever incriminating hard
evidence there may have been establishing the scope
and nature of Epstein's offenses and those of his
real client-- Israel-- might no longer exist.
Thus, it is highly important
that everyone reading these words strives hard to
ensure that EVERYONE in the country reads
these words and takes in the fact that
regardless of what may be true about Epstein,
Israel-- with the cooperation of certain US
officials-- HAS been gathering potential blackmail
material on Americans for many years now.
Getting these revelations about NSA
corruption into widespread public discourse will
ensure that the confusion and spin which muddies the
Epstein waters won't obscure the essential point
which makes that case a current hot-topic American
interest: We are victims of an ongoing long coup by
foreign actors, and we must shake ourselves free of
this affliction.
I hope all of you will do your part to
get this out there.

Not Letting This "Crisis" Go To Waste...
...an important action item opportunity.
FRIENDS, THE SPORADIC EASINGS of the despotic measures to
which most of the country has been subjected under
since the onset of the
COVID-19 hobgoblin narrative should not be
allowed to bleed off the head of steam you probably had been developing.
The offenses happened, and they're far from over. Stay hot.
And while you are all warmed up, and while others, if
they're smart, are just as hot, I'd like you to send an email (and
Facebook post, or whatever) with the following content to everyone you
can (with a request that they pass it along, in turn):
[Name], since March of 2020 you've
watched as over-fed state power has been used to literally destroy
classical Western civilization and impose a new despotic paradigm. No
dissent or debate permitted-- no permission or agreement sought.
YOU KNOW where this will end up if the arrogant
state power being used to make this happen isn't radically diminished in
size, influence, resources and popular support, and exposed as an
opportunistic exploiter of legal ignorance (an ignorance which it has
been nurturing in the average mind for decades).
Those things having not yet happened, you
should be quaking in your boots-- and you probably are.
Isn't it time-- and past time-- for you to
begin helping to make those desperately-needed defensive changes take
place? There is only one way these things can happen short of a
who-knows-what we'll-end-up-with explosion of violence. I'm going to
show it to you.
When you're done with that reading, you'll know
what to do next.
BTW, REMEMBER, ALSO, THAT EVERY AMERICAN has lately been given a stark lesson in the fact
that government officials at all levels will lie to you and violate the
law without batting an eye. They will do so any time it serves their agenda, and
you don't call them out for it.
If you know anyone who has been persisting in denial on the
truth about the income tax, you know such nonsense is usually be
grounded in some version or another of, "That can't be true..." or "They
would never do something like that...". Now's the time to put a pin in
that delusional bubble.
As the C19 hoax has starkly shown, "that" certainly CAN be true, and they
certainly WOULD do something
like that.
Use this evidence in all your
outreach efforts.

(Deceitful efforts to discourage Americans from
learning the truth about the "income tax")
FOR ALL THE YEARS SINCE 2003 when
CtC was first published, the government has engaged in a
concerted effort to frighten people away from its truths. This
effort involves official government websites and press releases
touting an occasional court ruling that appears to be at odds
with some
CtC-revelation (but without details sufficient to expose the
real substance of the ruling)--
and sometimes even more mendacious behavior.
Are the presentations and

Are You Having Trouble Spreading The
Word?
SKEPTICISM (SOMETIMES INVOKED BY FEAR) IS TO BE
EXPECTED when you're trying to explain to someone that
everything they've been encouraged their whole lives to
believe about something as entrenched and significant as the
income tax is basically nonsense. So here's a way to help
cut through the resistance:
Ask your listener how he or she would react if
you were to show an announcement from the Commissioner of
Internal Revenue admitting that the tax doesn't apply to the
earnings of most Americans and is misapplied most of the
time because people don't understand how it works? Or how
about if you showed a ruling from the Supreme Court saying
the same?
Now you just have to explain that
you're going to show exactly those things-- but because
the state really doesn't want people to know this, these
things haven't been said quite as forthrightly as we would
all wish. It's going to take a bit more work to take these
admissions in than is sufficient for just reading a press
release. But it'll be worth the effort...
IF YOU'RE NOT SPREADING THIS LINK with every bit of
energy you can, to school libraries, homeschool
families and community groups, your neighbors, your

Anonymous, WikiLeaks, the Tax Foundation, everyone

movement, other activist movements and everyone
else,

The Founders On What Really
Makes A "Land Of The Free"
By Michael Boldin
“All might be free if
they valued freedom, and defended it as they ought.”
Samuel Adams penned these
words with the kind of clarity that makes modern
political discourse look like finger painting.
Here’s the rub: Do we
actually value freedom enough to defend it? Or have
we become so comfortable with our chains that we’ve
forgotten what it means to be truly free?
Let me be blunt. Freedom
isn’t about having benevolent masters. It’s not
about government officials who promise to be nice –
or even those who actually do.
It’s about power itself –
who has it, who controls it, and most importantly,
whether it can be stopped the instant it exceeds its
limits.
THE ACID TEST OF
LIBERTY
During the height of the Revolution,
John Dickinson posed the fundamental question that should haunt
every American today. What does it actually mean to live in a
“land of the free?”
“For WHO ARE A FREE
PEOPLE? Not those, over whom government is
reasonable and equitably exercised, but those, who
live under a government so constitutionally checked
and controlled, that proper provision is made
against its being otherwise exercised.”
Let that sink in. The
“Penman of the American Revolution” wasn’t talking
about good government. He was talking about limited
government – one that literally cannot exceed its
bounds without being immediately slapped back into
its constitutional box.
In short, if government has
vast power but simply chooses not to use it today,
congratulations: you’re not free. You’re just lucky.
THE ARCHITECTURE OF
FREEDOM
Decades earlier, John
Trenchard understood this distinction with painful
clarity. Writing in Cato’s Letters, he declared that
checks on government are the sole difference between
free nations and unfree ones.
“Only the checks put
upon magistrates make nations free; and only the
want of such checks makes them slaves.”
Trenchard took it further
and explained that freedom depends on one simple
question: Do the people control the government, or
does the government control itself?
“They are free, where
their magistrates are confined within certain bounds
set them by the people, and act by rules prescribed
them by the people: And they are slaves, where their
magistrates choose their own rules, and follow their
lust and humours.”
Sound familiar? When
government writes its own rules, interprets its own
powers, and judges its own actions, you’re living in
a soft tyranny – even if it respects the
constitution and your liberty. The velvet glove
doesn’t change the iron fist underneath.
As Montesquieu put it, the
solution is to use power to check power.
“To prevent this abuse,
it is necessary, from the very nature of things,
power should be a check to power.”
Making that work requires
something most people don’t grasp – you need so many
restraints on government that it’s practically in a
straitjacket. Why? Because, as Thomas Gordon
explained, humans are predictably terrible with
power.
“Considering what sort
of a creature man is, it is scarce possible to put
him under too many restraints, when he is possessed
of great power: He may possibly use it well; but
they act most prudently, who, supposing that he
would use it ill, inclose him within certain bounds,
and make it terrible to him to exceed them.”
The founders took this
seriously. They didn’t design a system betting on
good people doing the right thing. They designed it
knowing that any power that can be abused will be
abused.
THE PAPER TIGER
PROBLEM
Here’s where most people
get it wrong. They think freedom is about having the
right words on paper – a good constitution, a bill
of rights, the perfect legal framework. But, as
Roger Sherman explained, words on paper don’t
enforce themselves. Never have, never will.
“No bill of rights ever
yet bound the supreme power longer than the honey
moon of a new married couple, unless the rulers were
interested in preserving the rights.”
So how do you make
constitutional limits actually work? You make
violating them more terrifying than following them.
Gordon explained the mechanics.
“The only security
which we can have that men will be honest, is to
make it their interest to be honest; and the best
defence which we can have against their being
knaves, is to make it terrible to them to be knaves.
As there are many men wicked in some stations, who
would be innocent in others; the best way is to make
wickedness unsafe in any station.”
You don’t get good
government by hoping for good people. You get it by
making bad behavior too costly or too difficult to
attempt.
WHO DECIDES?
This is where it gets even
more interesting. If government is merely an agent
of the people – not their master – then who
determines when government has violated its
constraints? The answer is obvious: As Jean-Jacques
Burlamaqui pointed out, it’s the people who gave
government its power in the first place.
“It certainly belongs
to those who have given any person a power, which he
had not of himself, to judge whether he uses it
agreeably to the end for which it was conferred on
him.”
John Locke made the same
point decades earlier, and also made the case that
the people aren’t just the source of government
power – they’re the ultimate judges of whether that
power is being properly used.
“Who shall be judge,
whether the prince or legislative act contrary to
their trust? To this I reply, The people shall be
judge; for who shall be judge whether his trustee or
deputy acts well, and according to the trust reposed
in him, but he who deputes him.”
THE DUTY TO CHECK
POWER
But judgment alone isn’t
enough. As Mercy Otis Warren made clear, the people,
who are the source of power, also have the right to
control it – to check it when it oversteps.
“The origin of all
power is in the people, and that they have an
incontestible right to check the creatures of their
own creation.”
Samuel Adams took this even
further. It’s not just a right, it’s a duty.
“The liberties of our
Country, the freedom of our civil constitution are
worth defending at all hazards: And it is our duty
to defend them against all attacks.”
John Dickinson recognized
that even the best constitution can’t guarantee good
government. When bad administrations arise, he
explained, the response is up to the “supreme
sovereignty of the people.”
“IT IS THEIR DUTY TO
WATCH, AND THEIR RIGHT TO TAKE CARE, THAT THE
CONSTITUTION BE PRESERVED; Or in the Roman phrase on
perilous occasions – TO PROVIDE, THAT THE REPUBLIC
RECEIVE NO DAMAGE.”
Thomas Jefferson knew
better than to trust anyone with power.
“In questions of power,
then, let no more be heard of confidence in man, but
bind him down from mischief by the chains of the
Constitution.”
But how do you enforce
these chains? James Iredell, who would become one of
the first Supreme Court justices, reminded us of the
hard truth – it’s up to the people themselves.:
“The only resource
against usurpation is the inherent right of the
people to prevent its exercise.”
Nothing else works. Not
courts. Not elections. Not petitions. When
government usurps power, there’s only one way to
stop it
THE ULTIMATE
REALITY CHECK
St. George Tucker drove
home the brutal truth about what real freedom means.
If government merely has the power to oppress you –
even if it’s not using that power today – you’re
already living in a state of slavery. You’re just
experiencing a benevolent phase.
“It is the due
restraint and not the moderation of rulers that
constitutes a state of liberty; as the power to
oppress, though never exercised, does a state of
slavery.”
Jean Louis De Lolme tied it
together. All these checks, all these restraints,
all these constitutional chains – they’re worthless
unless the people actually use them
“But it is here to be
remembered, that those powers of the People which
are reserved as a check upon the Sovereign, can only
be effectual so far as they are brought into action
by private individual.”
Without human action,
checks, restraints, and reserved powers are just
theory.
MICHAEL BOLDIN DOES A NICE JOB of
warming up the crowd with his fine presentation of
the Founders' words. Left unsaid in these offerings
is the bottom line, which I will let Thomas
Jefferson articulate:
“The tree of liberty must be
refreshed from time to time with the blood of
patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure.”
Putting it another way:
...understanding that the "partying" to
which my shirt refers involves shooting tyrants in
the belly.
Sounds radical when plainly said, I
know. But it's important-- vitally important-- that
Americans recognize and embrace the fact that it is
only through the real and resolute threat of the
force that liberty can be preserved when it is under
assault.
This is what is meant by Thomas Gordon,
quoted by Boldin, in saying that it must be made
"terrible" for those entrusted with power to exceed
the limits placed upon that power by the people, and
that wickedness must be made unsafe in any station.
We have a lot of wickedness among those
entrusted with power going on these days.
To pick just a couple of prominent
examples: In direct defiance of the popular will, as
unvaryingly expressed in polls across the spectrum,
Washington persists in, and escalates, wars in
Eastern Europe and in the Middle East-- the
withdrawal from each of which were promised in the
campaigns leading up to the last election and only
on the basis of which promises can it be said that
those currently in power were granted their offices.
The First Amendment is relentlessly
under assault by these same trustees in a corrupt
effort to suppress open and forthright discussion of
the aforementioned offenses, just as the limitations
on the taxing power have been systematically
disregarded for decades in order to finance them
(and all their predecessors since the fastening upon
us of the odious "National Security State" apparatus
in 1947).
The "REAL ID" surveillance tool is now
being implemented in a breath-takingly broad and
deep violation of
the Fourth Amendment. Profligate federal
spending reaches new and nauseating heights with the
accompanied erosion of every dollar in every
paycheck and every savings account.
All these offenses and the many more
that could be added to the list are hedged about
with shameless lies in every related pronouncement
by our trusted office-holders and their
stenographers in the "made" media, bring back to
mind the wise words of Thomas Paine quoted in the
lead article of this newsletter, above:
"It is impossible to calculate the
moral mischief, if I may so express it, that mental
lying has produced in society. When a man has so far
corrupted and prostituted the chastity of his mind
as to subscribe his professional belief to things he
does not believe he has prepared himself for the
commission of every other crime."
As said, there's a lot of wickedness
going on.
UNDERSTAND, in speaking these stern
words I am not advocating acts of violence in
response to any particular provocation or against
any particular person. The time for such acts may
come, but it is not now, in my opinion.
But I AM advocating a ratcheting up of
the discourse in that regard. As behavior among our
public servants gets uglier, the People's rhetoric
should, as well.
Here is Jefferson again:
"The spirit of resistance to
government is so valuable on certain occasions, that
I wish it to be always kept alive. It will often be
exercised when wrong, but better so than not to be
exercised at all. I like a little rebellion now and
then. It is like a storm in the atmosphere."
I think it very important that those
answerable to the People be aware that the spirit of
which Jefferson speaks remains alive, that the
People are losing their patience, and that should
course corrections prove necessary, they will be
terrible for the wicked.
So, speak up, my friends, please.
Understand that authority you can't bring yourself
to claim, loudly, proudly, grimly and sternly, will
slip through your fingers.
AT THE SAME TIME, continue to shrink
those who might be tempted to wickedness.
All that is needed for that much more upbeat
project is that those who have already received
CtC's
liberating and empowering revelations help the rest of the
American population quickly understand
the
truth about the tax and discover that even though Washington
may be in the grip of
the
wicked, their ability to do harm can be severely curtailed.
Bell-ringing efforts like this are easier than ever now, with the US Supreme Court
having just reaffirmed its 108-year-old ruling
in Brushaber v. Union Pacific RR. Co. and
freshly acknowledged the accuracy of
CtC.
Remember, the arising and sustenance of
the Leviathan state monster is a direct result of
the successful mis-administration
of the US income tax laws.
Shrinking that
Leviathan state monster merely involves the
reversing of that misadministration-- something that
can be done by individual Americans, acting
one-by-one, with no help or approval of any
government official. Each such act makes use of
state-restraining tools baked into the
Constitutional cake by the Founders and Framers, and
each such act WILL make a difference, however small.
Most important, each such act will absolve the actor
from the dishonor of participation in the heinous
crimes their resources would otherwise finance.
You can find all of this
explained
here, along with links to some additional
relevant resources.
Read that material, and then become an
agent of change. Urge everyone you know to do both
of these things, as well.
Seriously, people. It's time to stop
whistling past the graveyard and start using the
powerful and important tools with which our wise
ancestors equipped us. That said, these days are
also a good time to be keeping your powder dry.

EVEN AS ARDENT A STATIST as Abraham
Lincoln, in announcing his willingness to burn the Southern states to the ground in order to
keep them paying the tariff for the benefit of Northern interests in
his first inaugural address on March 4, 1861, paid at least lip
service to the Founders design of leaving control over the fuel
available to feed the fires Washington wants to light in the hands
of the individual citizenry when he said, "Doing this I deem to
be only a simple duty on my part; and I shall perform it, unless my
rightful masters, the American people, shall withhold the requisite
means..."

It's Way Past Time For You All To Queue Up!
"[Y]ou really need to familiarize yourself with Pete
Hendrickson's absolutely magnificent work at his website and in
his book(s). He has, brilliantly and lucidly, "cracked the
code" regarding the federal income EXCISE tax(es)."
-Mark C. Phillips, JD
"...I find your work fascinatingly simple to understand."
-Jerry Arnowitz, JD
"Your book is a masterpiece!"
-Michael Carver, JD
"Received your book yesterday. Started reading at 11
PM, finished at 4 AM." "I have 16 feet (literally 16'
4.5") of documents supporting just about everything in your
book." "Your book should be required reading for every lawyer
before being admitted to any Bar." "I hope you sell a
million of them."
-John O'Neil Green, JD
"Thanks again for your efforts, Pete. They mean an awful lot
to a lot of people." "As an attorney, I am humbled by your knowledge and ability
in navigating the law. THANK YOU for your hard work and sacrifice."
-Eric Smithers, JD
"I am an attorney and want to give a testimonial to your
book, which I find to be compelling. I am exercising these
rights for myself and my adult children. I'm even considering
making this my new avenue of law practice."
-Nancy "Ana" Garner, JD
Learn what these colleagues already know, then step forward and

Are You Ready For More Power?
"Peter Hendrickson has done it again! 'Upholding The
Law' does for individual liberties what 'Cracking the Code' did
for tax law compliance: exposes the reader to the unalienable
truth!"

Do you
know someone truly steeped in the Kool-Aid?
I mean
someone who finds it easier to believe that the far-better-educated,
far-more-suspicious-of-government Americans of a hundred years ago were
complete morons who granted authority to the state to take whatever it
wished from themselves and their posterity than to imagine that they
themselves simply misunderstand the true nature of the income tax? Even
while knowing that their beliefs about the tax are derived entirely from
the representations of those who profit from those beliefs (like tax
bureaucrats and "tax professionals")?
Do you
know someone like that? Shake them awake with the latest (sixteenth)
edition of
CtC!
If
CtC were actually
right, it would mean the government's been concealing and
denying and suppressing the truth for years
on end, and everybody knows THAT would never happen...
(Edward Snowden, come home! It was all just a bad dream; there really is
No Such Agency!)
Btw, a copy of
CtC from anywhere except the link above may not
be a current edition. CHECK. It matters. Also, there ARE no
e-book, Kindle or .pdf versions of
CtC.
Don't get taken in by efforts to sell you-- or even give you for
free-- any such thing.
July 22- In 1937, the Senate votes down
FDR's scheme to add more justices to the U.S. Supreme Court in order to start
getting favorable rulings on New Deal legislation after having his socialist
programs ruled unconstitutional over and over. (Roosevelt soon replaced enough
retiring justices with his own men to start getting more congenial readings of
the "living Constitution" anyway...) In 2011, a terrorist bombing of government
offices and shooting attack on schoolchildren is committed in Norway by a man
apparently filled with a mindless hatred of Muslims.

PRO TIP: If I were the IRS and I wanted to
discourage people from rebutting allegations that
they had done things I can tax, and wanted to keep them from
successfully reclaiming withheld or paid-in money, I
would salt the "tax honesty" community with
passionate-seeming "legal researchers" who would
warn anyone whose ear they captured that filing a

Illuminating Anniversaries of this week:
July 24- In 1847, after 17 months of travel, Brigham Young
leads 148 Mormon pioneers into Salt Lake Valley. In 1929, the Kellogg-Briand
Pact, renouncing war as a tool of foreign policy and approved by the Senate
85-1, goes into effect. In 1974, a unanimous Supreme Court rules that Richard
Nixon has no authority to withhold recordings of conversations in the Oval
Office in the face of a Congressional subpoena.
If you're not talking this one up everywhere and
helping generate a buzz, you don't really want liberty and the
rule of law...

July 25- In 1861, the Union Congress passes the
Crittendon Resolution, admitting that the war against the seceding
Southern States was not being conducted to end slavery, but rather to
forcibly maintain an ongoing relationship that the North found
beneficial and that the South did not. In 1868, Wyoming is organized as

Rico. In 1920, the first transatlantic two-way radio exchange takes

Hendrickson is also a widely-read essayist on
matters of politics, public policy and law; many of these works
are collected in his second book, Upholding
the Law And Other Observations. He is a member of Mensa;
an
award-winning artist; and has paid his dues as a youth
soccer coach. He is a long-time political activist as well, and
has served as co-chair and platform convention delegate of
Michigans largest county Libertarian Party organization; as a
consultant to the National Right to Work Foundation and Citizens
for a Sound Economy; as a member of the Heartland Institute; and
as a member of the International Society for Individual
Liberty. He is a frequent radio-show guest on stations across
the country.
Hendrickson's business career has included nearly a
decade-and-a-half at the leading edge of the renewable-energy
industry, both as Director of Purchasing and Materials
Management and member of the R&D board at Starpak Energy
Systems, the mid-west's then-largest solar heating and
energy-recovery-and re-utilization company; and as founder and
president of AFJ Inc., a high-efficiency lighting design,
manufacture and installation firm.
Beginning in the mid-1990s and continuing for the
twelve years before his present full-time focus on the
restoration of the rule of law in America, Hendrickson directed
purchasing activities for the $84 million-a-year
multi-family-housing division of the Farmington Hills, Michigan
branch of Edward Rose and Sons, with responsibility for 18,000+
apartments, direct supervision of 35 technicians and agents, and
incidental authority over several hundred divisional workers.
He also ran the division's 10 cable television earth-station and
distribution systems in four states, and designed and
administered the company's website.
On rather the other end of the spectrum, amidst
these more mundane pursuits Hendrickson co-founded and was the
primary creative force behind a small
board- and
card-game company that enjoyed a modest success for several
years.
Hendrickson makes his home in southeast Michigan,
with his wife and two children. He is currently working on his
next book.
